Blakes usually have great crabs. This is the place most people I know purchase their crabs from. A friend of mine paid 160 dollars for a half bushel of large females, but they were definitely mediums. Please check your box before leaving. A lot of the crabs, we couldn't eat, because they didn't smell or look good inside, very lightweight and shallow. We were too far from blakes to return them. The lady I spoke to was nice and apologetic, but the crabs were no where near worth a 160 dollars!! . It was very disappointing to travel so far to purchase crabs that weren't good. I will say one thing that was good, and that was the seasoning.

I had a 1/2 bushel of large crabs $200. 🦀 and a dozen of large females $45 I think. They were all delicious. No mushy crabs. In addition to the 🌽 . Everything was seasoned to perfection.

Had the picking crabs. Very meaty and tasty 😋. Will be my new crab spot.

I drove from NJ to pick up 1dz xlarge 🦀 crabs, they were reasonable, hot out the pot! Those fraba were beautiful, worth the drive👍👍

Worst crabs I've ever purchased from Blake's. They were watery lack seasoning and light in weight I purchased the 1/2 bushel Pickens $70...I was told to return the uneaten portion on Tuesday and I will. Well I returned the crabs today and was told no refund which i didn't want and she said the Pickens are watery. All these years ive never brought bad crabs from here. The won't get my business ever again. They wouldn't even give me a dz crabs. 😠😠😠😠

I use to love this place, but they are really falling off. I purchased crabs for a relative recently, and at least half of the crabs were mushy with black stuff on the bottom of the crabs. I sent an email to the company’s email, but I never received a response. I’m so disappointed in Blakes as I have been getting crabs from here for over 10 years now.

The female crabs were delicious, I purchased the small and medium and even they had weight to them and mustard inside. I thought I could never be satisfied eating smaller size crabs but those are the best meaty small crabs I ever ate !!!!!

I prefer L, XL, or Jumbo. Great seasoning!!!

I'm a long time customer of Blake's Crabs and I can tell you this; "it's a family atmosphere with great tasting food." It's my go to place for crabs in Maryland.

We have been buying crabs from Blake's for years and they are always excellent.

Ordered ahead of time and they were done when I arrived. Service was great as they assisted as soon as I walked in the door.

Those crabs were disgusting I will never buy crabs from them again I will not give them no stars because they don't deserve them

Have been trying to get to this place for months but I finally got the chance last night 12/19/23 for the first time right before they closed and I was not disappointed a few (3)of the crabs were light and not good, but the rest were meaty and season welled. Customer service was great and friendly. I will be back

I paid $75 for a dz of crabs with no meat in them on 12/15/23! A huge disappointment and I drove from philly. I get crabs bigger than this in Jersey already cleaned and sauteed for $20 cheaper! I was gonna there but said no I will do maryland but never ever again will I go back to blakes!!

I was very disappointed with the staff... I was not even patronizing the business, I was making a delivery, and the level of confusion I left with was so weird, still a lil confused... needless to say if I did ever think to buy crabs here before I wouldn't now. I would always treat every person who enters my establishment as if they're a customer and as if you value each one the same

Blake’s is the place for crabs…. I drive into Baltimore to Blake’s to get my crab feast on…. And I don’t share! If you’re with me, you have to buy your own… I plan to eat all my delicious crabs from Blake’s! They never disappoint

Blake's is awesome and consistent. They have great deals on crabs and shrimp. I highly recommend them for the Baltimore area. East and Northeast.

When I first went my crabs were perfect hot and delicious....when I went back I had a few that were over cooked and appeared re steamed w fresh ones....they were edible but I could identify the differences

Blake’s is my favorite place to go and get my crabs, I REFUSE to go anywhere else!!!!! I have been going to Blake’s for 2 years now and I haven’t EVER had a bad crab. They’re not heavy on the Old Bay Seasoning (unless you ask), their corn is AMAZING (picture me kissing the tip of my fingers GOOD), potatoes are ALWAYS nicely cooked and the butter it cooks in 😋, and the shrimp is Delicious 🤤 cooked to Perfection!!!!!!

Don’t get me wrong I love Blake’s but on Tuesday April 11 I order 1 dozen XL male crab and on Sunday April 17 I or another 1 dozen XL MALE… I thought it was a mistake because normally when I order XL they are good… these tasted not fresh at all… I had to throw out a couple that were going bad….. you can tell when crabs is fresh…I felt like I was eating dead man walking…. I’m really disappointed for paying $130 a dozen and did not enjoy it…I told my daughter I’m gonna give Blake’s a rest until they get rid of these bad crabs….

They take special care to select crabs with some weight...sweet, seasoned well, and don't disappoint.

We had got 1/2 bushel yesterday and they taste like sand water. Usually Blake's are good and clean. So disappointed a waste of $110

Crabs was delicious. I ordered large male which looked like medium males. I was ok , but my husband was livid because we spent money on 2 dozen large 😩 corn always great as well , only issue really was the size they advertise is NOT THE SIZE YOU RECEIVE

BEST CRABS IN BALTIMORE. Always my first go to spot to get juicy well seasoned crabs for years. I would definitely recommend to call your order in ahead of time to avoid long waits.

Called I and waited 45 minutes to get the text that my crabs were ready. Text came, went to pick them up and could not find the crabs. 45 more minutes later I asked if they were ready. They asked me my name AGAIN, I told them and because they misspelled my name they saw my crabs waiting on the shelve. They need to learn how to spell a simple name. Crabs were totally cold by then. They want you to call your order in. I don't know why if they can't spell.

Get there early!!! I've brought the pick and crabs. All sizes, female and male. They have been flavorful and heavy. The price is reasonable. 1/2 of the bushels $60. They sell out fast.

The 1/2 bushel large males last week was great. We ordered light on the Old Bay and they were still smothered. We also noticed a new light brown seasoning on top. Not sure the name of that one since Old Bay is and has always has been red. It wasn’t spicy hot like last year thank GOD. Will still buy from Blake’s.
