Showed up because we absolutely loved this place but my fiancé and daughter rode the motorcycle out there and I followed them in my car. We walked up to the window to order since they were on a motorcycle and they absolutely refused to take our order even though they had a sign that said motorcycles can order at the window. They turned me, my fiancé and my hungry kid away, simply because I followed them there in my car. it makes absolutely no sense and we will never be eating there again. The staff was very rude.

I was 5or 6 years old when my dad took us to the Blue Moon when it opened! I absolutely love their food, especially their chili dogs! Yum, yum!

If you’re looking for the best place to get ice cream in DeKalb County then check out this place! Great ice cream, great service, and got through quickly. They even have kid sizes It’s sad that this place is seasonal and closing soon, will come back next year!

We are in the car. It was soft server ice cream, which I'm not a fan of. Service was good.

Complete order was wrong and when brought it too there attention we where met with hostility. So we paid for 25$ of soft serve ice cream. We order a upsidedown banana split, a large peanut butter and banana malt and a tin roof and we got none of it. We will never be back ever and i would suggest no one go if you want a quick ice cream fix this isn't it.

The teamwork Bluemoon has is great. The quality of the food is great. Pricing is great. Some of the best ice.cream.and shakes around. Worth the trip to Garrett.

There updown banana spilt is not the same as years pasted they don't put nothing in it besides hot chocolate and vanilla ice cream

Been living in the area for a few years now this wasn’t my first time eating here either but I felt the need to leave review after my last experience I know this will offend some but this place is insanely overrated as well as overpriced! A double cheeseburger is almost $6 a large malt was $7.50 not even sides are reasonable onion rings were almost $4! Food was bland mediocre generic fast food doesn’t even have that special local appeal I don’t understand all the hype for this place and never will…

It seems like their season goes by faster and faster each year. We make trips from Fort Wayne as often as we can.

The strawberry shortcake Sundae is good, but the entire CHUNK of shortcake was surprisingly unexpected. Fries are great, chicken was good but the oil needed changed. Kid taking orders was super polite! This was our first time here, and we'll come back next season!

Hot fudge sundae with pecans. Always have a line outside! Yummy ice cream, weekly special flavors that rotate between favorites like peanut butter, lemon, etc

My wife has raved about Blue Moon for years but I found it just kind of meh. I prefer Culver's, Ritters, and Handels. To name a few. Prices are reasonable though.

My family loves Bluemoon, the food, and the service is pretty alright, yet although the drive thru is a bit small, the wait is okay.

Ordered a peach shake and its nothing but vanilla ice cream with peach chunks. Doesn't have the peach color or nothing. Disgusting!

They do such an amazing job of getting everyone through the line as quick as possible and the food and treats are all extremely tasty.

Update 8/8/23 The Blue Moon is still as EXCELLENT AS EVER! We have never been disappointed with the staff, service & food !!! It is a northeast Indiana HAVE TO GO TO BUSINESS!!! EVERY SPRING THRU THE FALL IT'S THE BEST PLACE TO GO FOR COMFORT FOOD & WHEN THE DRIVE IN THEATER REOPENS, THAT AREA WILL BE A GREAT TOURIST ATTRACTION ONCE AGAIN!! Awesome as always! Great food & staff! It's always worth the wait! It is a must visit place for anyone who likes family run restaurants & delicious food !

One of my favorite spots! The Upside Down Banana Split is to die for!! Cheesburgers are delicious and the chicken tenders are yummy! Fast, friendly, service!

The Brown House in Auburn definitely has them beat but still a good place just not as good as it was in the 80's and 90's

From the bottom of my heart (figuratively) to the tip of my tongue (literally), I want to thank you for getting better straws for milkshakes 🤪 2nd best blueberry milkshake in the history of blueberry milkshakes (but then again, Chocolate Moose in Bloomington might be more nostalgia than reality🤷‍♂️). Roll a dube, take a roadie, this little hidden gem is worth the trip!!!

Great place delish food good ice cream I got a Blue Moon shirt the crispy crunchy tenderloin and a peach sundae Been going there 60 years Worth the drive and the line wait!

Called first to see if they had the flavor of the week left, the lady said they had 3 pints left and I told her I was coming all the way from Ossian. When I got there all 3 were sold. Driving an hour away you would thought she could of saved me at least 1! We won't be back!!!

Cheeseburger was delicious and the fries were hot. The strawberry shake had an artificial taste to it. I would go back but this time asking for the lemonade

Best seasonal ice cream place around! You can almost guarantee waiting in line but they move the cars through pretty quickly. They have a different flavor each week, along with the normal vanilla and chocolate. Lemon is my favorite!

Chili dog was good but root beer float wasnt

Normally waiting in line isn't my favorite thing at a restaurant. But I think the best part of the blue moon- aside from great ice cream, is waiting in the car listening to the kids weigh the pros and cons of every possible ice cream choice. I'm glad it's finally summer. Google wants me to update. Another great Blue Moon story. 3rd grade daughter comes home on first day of school. She tells us how tough the first day is. Then says, she needs to head to the Blue Moon to recover. 1 cherry, chocolate chip shake later- she was ready to take on 3rd grade, day 2.

Definitely a local favorite! Ice cream was very good and they offer very reasonable prices for kids. They have opposing drive thru windows to keep traffic moving in a very swift manner. Kudos to the owners for not raising their prices for at least the past 3 years 👏

I have lived in Auburn for 6 years and always heard good things but just never made it to try. The customer service experience was so amazing! Bailey took our order and went above and beyond to make us feel like we were the only customers in line. Sooooo many options!!!

My favorite ice cream shop around Fort Wayne. Soft serve only, but the best soft serve. Special favors weekly, but the peanut butter sundae with hot fudge is a real hitter.

My family used to own this growing up. I've went here my whole life. Food is always fresh. Not too expensive. Down side would be the lines and no parking. It is kind of unsafe to wait in line and the wait takes forever.

The line for service had us hanging out in the street on a Tuesday evening. We got the coney dog bundles. I got mine keto ( no bun) it was perfect. Thank you.

This is a good little local ice cream shop with a lot more thank ice cream! We grabbed dinner and ice cream here and we were not disappointed. They are staffed well and the young people working did a great job and were very friendly.

Amazing hometown eatery. Great food and lots of flavors of ice cream! I've been coming here since I was a little kid, all the way back in the 80's! Now I bring my kids here. We love it!
