Been here several times (as well as ordered in delivery). Tried to order something different each time; so far always satisfied with the taste of their food. My go to is the Five Flavor Spice Noodle soup.

Me and my family thought this place was a joke to us. Not coming back here. The waiter didn’t know what was on the menu and got our order wrong after us having to repeat it 3 times. The waiter didn’t know what we were saying and we were speaking clear English. Waiter didn’t even know the stuff on her menu. Cooks drenched the stuff in eel sauce. And the seeweed was chewy. Not ever coming back here again. Don’t recommend

From the moment we walked in, Blue Sake promised a culinary adventure, and it delivered just that! We kicked off our lunch with a duo of appetizers that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The chicken satay was a revelation, marinated in a vibrant yellow curry that was both flavorful and moist, creating a perfect harmony with the unique red onion sweet water. Next, the fresh rolls wrapped in delicate rice paper were not only a visual treat but also incredibly filling. They were the perfect prelude to the main event. The cold, flavored sake selection was a journey of its own – the plum was a sweet whisper of fruitiness, while the coconut with lemongrass was a bold statement of tropical zest, both equally tasty. The green curry for lunch was a masterful blend of heat and sweet, striking a delightful balance with its medium spice level and the subtle sweetness of basil. As for my main course, the grilled chicken with lemongrass was a standout, perfectly portioned and accompanied by a medley of steamed veggies and a comforting side of rice. Overall, our first experience was nothing short of wonderful. It's a place where flavors are celebrated, and satisfaction is guaranteed. We left with our taste buds dancing and a promise to ourselves – we will be back!

Ordered Togo. 1 entree Thai hot and the other normal. Both came Thai hot. Both were basically just a box of rice with 4-5 single bites of chicken and 3-4 veggies. Called up and asked if they can make us what we ordered and what we gave them money for. She said to just ask ask for her next time we order and they’ll credit it back. Right. Like you’ll be there next time we call and remember us. Basically we’ll just never call again. Wouldn’t recommend.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Amazing service with happy faces!! Much appreciated. The cuisine is custom made. Nothing sitting in a pot waiting for somebody to order. Worth the wait. Fresh and tasty, with a crunch to the vegetables. Delightful!! Will we go back...do I need to answer...of course. Cheers

I picked up a delivery at this restaurant yesterday. After visiting the toilet, I decided to treat my hands with an antiseptic that stood near the washbasin.. But as soon as I pressed it, a jet of antiseptic hit me right in the eye. Most likely, no one has used antiseptics for a long time and the holes from where it comes out have clogged, leaving only a small hole and therefore the departure of the jet has changed. I immediately felt a strong burning sensation and started rinsing with water. But as soon as I pressed it, a jet of antiseptic hit me right in the eye. Apparently, the fact that getting antiseptic into the eyes is a very dangerous moment and can cause severe chemical burns and even deprive the employee of eyesight turned out to be a very funny moment for the employee. I didn't expect this. Today I feel an unpleasant sensation in my eye and I'm going to visit the doctor. And most likely I will turn to a lawyer for advice.

It’s not a big name place to begin with, driven by it a ton never really considered it, but when we got a $15 coupon for my birthday month we thought “heck, let’s try it out”. We show the coupon ahead of time to make sure it’s valid, and the server says we have to buy a drink in order to use it. I looked at it back and forth and it doesn’t say that anywhere on the coupon, but whatever, we ordered a sweet tea. She comes back and says we actually have to order 2 drinks, or at least I’m pretty sure that’s what she said, there was a language barrier between us and our server. I asked to get clarification from a manager and the manager said it’s a mistake, it was supposed to say purchase of two drinks, so we need to buy two drinks. Obviously this is a bait and switch by a cheap owner who’s trying to guilt people into spending more money and nullify the coupon. I said that’s fine we’ll leave this is a scam and she said she’d “make an exception”. Whatever. Food comes out all at once, again, whatever. Tried the “chicken fresh roll” and I kid you not, there was a SLIVER of chicken on this thing. It was comical. It was essentially a lettuce wrap. At this point it was funny. The sushi was actually solid, but the crab Rangoon was just average. Finally the bill comes and we give the coupon for $15 off an item and they chose the cheapest item. I asked if it could be one of the sushi rolls, not the $7 “fresh roll”, and they said no it doesn’t specify which entree we decide. Ha! Such a scummy run business that doesn’t want return clients. Deserves to fail like it currently is (place was empty). But the sushi was pretty good.

The food is AMAZING and the staff is so friendly! We got the drunken noodles and singapore fried rice. We only got mild spice levels, but definitely could’ve done medium. Their yum yum sauce might be the best i’ve ever had. Our bill was only $40 for two entrees and two alcoholic drinks. Such a local gem!

I ordered unagi, which was the main course of my dinner. It's in your life. I called the restaurant she told me the printer is not working in the sushi area so they didn't get the order. If you know your printer is not working in the sushi area wouldn't you call customers to make sure that you weren't skipping their order?

I really enjoyed eating at Blue Sake. The place was clean and they did a good job on the decor. The service was good and was attentive. The seafood flambé tasted great and they used some big seafood shrimp and scallops and the chili sauce was flavorful. The Singapore noodle was well flavored with curry powder with the right amount of vegetables. The menu had such a variety of food from Thai, Japanese, and Thai. I will be back to try some of the other Asian fusion dishes. The Tom Yum soup contain fresh mushrooms and onions but they could do better with the flavor of the broth. The spider sushi was good but I don’t think this is a place I would come if I was in the mood for sushi. Overall I think it is a nice place and will definitely be back.

I really hate to do this because pretty much all of my reviews are positive BUT I want to save yall. I did a lot of research for a good place and the reviews here were so positive and there were tons of them. However, this was the worst sushi, soup, and food I’ve ever eaten. Sushi was not fresh. The soup had no flavor despite me adding an entire packet of soy sauce. The pad see you noodles with shrimp were so overcooked I could only surmise it was from lunch the day before. The noodles were so mushy they wouldn’t stay on the fork and the shrimp had been boiled to death I assume. Like I said I hate to do this but please don’t believe the rave reviews online. Total waste of money and I only ate half of the soup.

I’ve been to this place 3 times and I usually don’t leave reviews unless I’m very happy or very dissatisfied. The rolls and other dishes taste good for sure but the portions are actually pretty small for the price they charge. The over load the rice in their rolls so make sure to order with less rice.. also their sake is watered down and that technically stealing of you ask me. I pay for a sake, I want to drink sake. A bottle of sake is so cheap at the market too, why are you watering it down? And the service isn’t that good either but once they realize you’re upset they do pay more attention to your table.. but why does it take all that to get their attention? I won’t be returning here.

Always happy with blue sake restaurant in Dunedin. Menu has a good variety of items, from sushi to Thai dishes. I love the service and the food quality. The prices are reasonable. This is one of our faves.

This place has gone down hill big time. They are omitting ingredients from their dishes. Won’t be going back. Another restaurant that is cutting corners while raising prices. 4 little pieces of chicken and zero vegetables that was described in their menu in their Pad Thai dish. Waist of money. Never again.

I got an uber eat order and had to call to make an adjustment to my order, they were extremely friendly and helpful and removed the nuts from my order since i'm allergic and the food was very good. Amazing customer service and food. Definitely recommend! x

I've tried sushi here a number of times, and every time I've been disappointed. It doesn't taste very fresh, im not sure if it's the fish, or the rice, or a combination, or I don't like their rice seasoning or what. I honestly don't think it's any better than publix sushi.

Ordered with Uber eats. Got Thai chicken fried rice because they had a bogo special. Yet portion size is so little. Not a deal at all. Frankly, disappointing. Don’t offer the deal if you are just splitting and normal size portion into two boxes.

Ordered through ubereats and got half portion meals, and the chicken fried rice should have just been called fried rice as there was very little chicken. Unacceptable and disappointing. I recommend not ordering from here.

Although I have lived in Dunedin for years, I only recently discovered Blue Sake. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Great lunch specials during the week. Nice ambiance and fast, friendly service. I’ll definitely be returning.

Overall, chose this place because it seemed to have good reviews. However walking in you’re greeted with weird smell. Then the company staff barely want to talk to you, or take your order. Had 2 appetizers one of which was clearly frozen “crispy spring rolls” and second being chicken gyoza which had a syrup like sauce. Left after that. Highly suggest going somewhere else.

The first few times I went I was very pleased. Then, not so much. I decided to give them a chance to redeem themselves before posting a negative review. Twice in a row I have gone and ordered my normal, the angel roll, and been completely skimped on the tuna on top. The first time I was given only the tiniest piece placed in the middle with the rest being shrimp and avocado. So next time I order it modified to have no shrimp on top at all, still only a small slice of tuna... Very frustrating! Haven't gone back in quite a while, but decided to give them another chance tonight. I asked for no shrimp and extra extra roe, which I was charged extra for. And I had absolutely NO extra roe at all! It this point, I'm just done.

JB tempura roll, every, single, time. It's good. Their pad se ew is also a very frequent choice. I prefer the tofu. Ask for it spicy if you dare !!

Amazing food and prices! 6.95 for 8 pieces of Spicy tuna roll is a steal. You can tell if the sushi is fresh by the rice. If it falls apart or breaks when eating it then its fresh. If the rice is hard and doesn't even get close to breaking then its not fresh. Sake was amazing and my mothers Alaska Roll was amazing also. Tried multiple places in my area and this was the only place that reminded me of Japanese restaurants like NYC which I moved here a year ago.

We got the lunch special and some sushi. Skip the lunch special and just get the sushi. The sushi was great...the lunch special...not so much. My friend's curry looked watered down, and my chicken cashew was goopy. The soup of the day was ok.

This restaurant used to be a favorite. We stopped by a while ago and noticed a new menu and the prices were 30-40% higher! I asked the water what happened, he smugly said "inflation" with a grin. We left and won't look back. There are plenty of other restaurants that won't take advantage of hard working people. You lost a customer and local. See my menu from just last year. You cannot tell me chicken had gone by 40%!

Doesn't honor mail out coupons even when discrepancies are pointed out...disappointed in service

I've been coming to Ble Sake for years, and I always loved they're food and drinks. The last couple visits, the food was not quite as good, thus the 3 stars.

We have been enjoying Blue Sake for nearly 7 years now and never had a bad experience nor a dish we didn't like! (We dine and take out.) Do yourself a favor and give them a try! You won't regret it! The food and staff are phenomenal. Love, love, love Blue Sake!!

This restaurant is AMAZING! The ambiance is not what I originally expected from a smaller restaurant like this one that is located in a mini shopping center. They did a great job utilizing space, the decor is colorful and whimsical, and the cleanliness is extraordinary. Now, I have never taken pictures of the bathrooms in all of the thousands of reviews I have done, but this one!!! OMG! It's immaculate! The service here was incredible, fast, and super-friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. They are located on Main Street in Dunedin, Florida. I will dine here again!!!

I’ve always enjoyed the food here and usually get the Blue Sake Pho but today I got the Singapore Noodles with shrimp and it was delicious!! The portion was generous enough that I have a nice serving for lunch tomorrow. If I hasn’t also got an order of salmon nigiri I probably would have finished the noodles. The small salad with the tasty dressing was the perfect size to start the meal with.

Very rude staff. Extremely rude to delivery drivers. Go elsewhere.

I loved this place and have never had an issue until yesterday and today! I placed a delivery order for sushi through Uber eats. I received the wrong order. I tried calling the restaurant but they didn’t answer. So I contacted them the next day, which was today, and the guy I spoke to, which was very nice, stated he would remake our sushi and I asked if I could pick it up when I got off work. He agreed! I called at 6pm to let them know I would be on my way and the lady that answered stated “I threw it away and I’m not remaking it” and told me to call Uber then hung up on me. She was extremely rude which was not necessary! This is not Uber Eats fault that your establishment made the wrong food! Our new order, that I was to pick up today was made prior to me getting off work and calling them to let them know I would be on the way, which was agreed upon originally. Horrible customer service! Again I received food that I wasn’t even able to give to my daughter to eat because it was made with peanuts so it was a waste of money. Two horrible experiences within a day! Will definitely find another place to go.

The drinks, food, atmosphere is phenomenal. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. We even asked if they sold their salad dressing and they made a special accommodation for us and sold us some! The food is to die for for real.

Had red curry with rice. They gave me a small pot of spices to mix. Broth was tasty and enjoyable. Waiter was nice and liked the atmosphere.

Service was fast and friendly! We went in and were seated immediately. The edamame was a delicious appetizer. The rolls were tasty; my only complaint is that the firecracker roll was served to us cold despite being deep fried. The atmosphere was fun and inviting

Great experience ordering delivery online from their website. We got sushi, chicken with rice paper platter, and a couple other appetizers. Everything was delicious and way more food than we expected. We really enjoyed their take on the Philadelphia roll with beef in it. Delivery was perfect, on time, and courteous. Way better than ordering from a Delivery app. Highly recommend for a date night meal. We will definitely be in to check out the restaurant itself and more of their delicious food.

Worst Thai food I've ever eaten. Thai beef salad had no cabbage at all and almost no lettuce, hardly any chicken in Pad Thai Chicken which was sickly sweet and a gooey mess from overcooked noodles and the sushi was not fresh at all it was pre-made and ice cold from refrigeration even after being delivered. I definitely wouldn't eat here again nor would I recommend it.

Okay sushi, okay service I have eaten much better sushi in other places. It was just average. Plus we asked for a sweet potato sushi and the sweet potato was undercooked. They were gracious enough to take it back and make us a new one which was better. We also ordered their Papaya salad which was also very average. The service was average. The sake was overpriced. I would not eat here again.

I've ordered food from here off Uber Eats and have dined here with my friends a few times. We always have wonderful food with no mess ups, and great service. One of my two favorite sushi/Asian places in the area. Highly recommend!

Uber eats. Wait time listed as 35-45 minutes. Order took an hour and 40 minutes. Driver left restaurant, came back and food was still not ready. Ordered 2 for 1 special which is just one portion put into two boxes apparently. Did not receive chicken fried rice and got pad Thai instead. Kids refused to eat it. All food was cold. Not luke warm, cold. We had been regulars but will not be moving forward.

My daughter and I ate here based on a recommendation from a friend. I live nearby and had never noticed this restaurant tucked in where it is. The menu really has a wide variety of options from different Asian cuisines and my daughter and I both tried options that were new to us. Our meals were very good and a nice diversion from the usual Asian restaurant menu items. The waiter was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I got the distinct impression this is a family-run business and we felt welcomed even though we were there a little late in the evening. The decor was unremarkable but seemed well maintained. Now that we have discovered this restaurant we will definitely go back and try out some of the other unique items on their menu.

A local gem in Dunedin with excellent sushi and Asian food. Prices are incredibly affordable with filling portion sizes. Service was pleasant and attentive. Food was nicely plated and full of flavor. We really appreciated how extensive the menu was too. We will definitely make this a regular spot!

Loved every bit of my experience dinning in tonight. The staff was friendly, the bathrooms clean, the food fresh, and even the customers were friendly. Def can't wait to try more of their menu. It's pretty extensive and I saw lots of yummy items I want to try.

Watch out for the hidden fees and upcharges $2.00 for a side of spicy mayo ( printed menu price $0.50) $4.25 for a kids side of miso soup. we opted for the soup rather than the kids side and was charged full price . Kids meal missing a side $1.00 up charge for food cost. No where on the menu was this printed We talked to the server and just got a blank stare Take your business somewhere else

I normally order from this restaurant once or twice a month...I just ordered again ... the portions were baby to child size at the same cost the delivery guy did not follow instructions ....very disappointing....but not just the restaurant fault and the delivery guy's fault ....I also blame the current administration that is running our country to be the biggest fault...you only follow the leader.. probably never ordering from this place again
