Beware of the maniac laundromat owner who nearly assaulted me as soon as I stepped out of my LEGALLY parked vehicle! It was the only car parked along the sidewalk. The nut job threatened to tow my car and shouted insane accusations at me if I didn't move it immediately. Bartender & owner made baseless excuses for their neighbor's unfounded terror rant at me ... so I DEFINITELY WILL NEVER, EVER BE BACK @ SIMON'S. Hint: your laundromat neighbor is a HUGE liability.

UPDATE: It has become a non smoking bar now... plus serving food. You honestly can't detect the smoking. Staff is super friendly too. It is clean. A very local bar as in it is a not fancy place but a great homey place. Food is great. We have been there several times since they made the changes. Nice little place. Clean inside. It is a smoking bar. They have pool tables and dart games. Bartender was very friendly. Definitely a local bar with it's regulars but they are very welcoming of new people. Customers/regulars are very friendly too.

This place reminds me of the old days when I was in My 20s it's not a huge place food is Great and Affordable all the bartenders . are at your service and refilling your drinks nice place to go hang out with the people there they are really Great bunch an has a outside TV which is Great when you are wanting to smoke the only thing I miss is the pool tables but it's a place to get away from hard bar scenes check it out you will see why people go back I am way pa's my 20s. But it still is my favorite spot to get out to and will always be my go to place food service place in Dunedin for a good time with people highly recommend

This is a staple in Dunedin. The staff is great and always friendly. The food is amazing, great Tacos on Tuesday, the gyro and tzatziki sauce, the French dip, they have a great menu and a very relaxing fun vibe to it. Definitely recommend this place

We loved this place; we were visiting from the UK and this place was probably as close as you could get to a British pub. Service was great and the staff were brilliant and very friendly. The beer choices were ample and the food lovely. A lovely place for visitors and locals which proved great for use as we were staying close in an AirBnB. Recommended

Great local corner bar with daily food and drink specials. Not fancy, self described dive bar serving cold beer and better food than you might think. Friendly service. Been a few times now. Will definitely return

Hospitality Above and Beyond!! I ventured outside my comfort zone for a solo holiday to take in the Blue Jays spring training and the nearby PGA Valspar. Simon's was near my VRBO. My first night in town ended there and I had a great time talking to the owners and playing (electronic) darts with a regular; a super nice guy. Two nights later, upon returning by rideshare from the golf tournament, I realized my phone had slipped out of my pocket in the backseat. I was quite distraught especially when no one I had met at my VRBO was home. What to do? I remember feeling quite "safe" at Simon's so walked there and told Mike?, my tale of woe. He immediately jumped into action to contact my rideshare (turns out not an easy task) despite the time demands of his kitchen duties. Other patrons hearing our conversation joined in and eventually my phone was found and returned. this 69 year old Western Canadian is eternally grateful to the owners/staff and patrons who saved my little holiday. I pledge to return (hopefully with my wife to take care of me ... ha ha) and personally thank all those involved AND enjoy all the great things about Simon's! Thank you and "sorry" for the trouble. (had to get "sorry" in there somewhere ...lol)

Me and my wife are building a house a block away from simions...we stopped in a couple of weeks ago just to check the place out seeing it is so close to our house.....the bartender seemed really nice (sally) I think was her name and we meet the owner also seemed like a nice guy👍👍small world the owner is from Massachusetts and so are we....I'm looking forward to having many drinks at Simon's seeing it's 5 houses away lol....see you guys soon.... Had a great time with some great food Was impressed mostly with the quality of food, was the normal cheep pub grub but instead was surprised with a delicious lunch. Will be back to try the rest of the menu!

We love Simon's! I know they are a self-proclaimed "dive bar", but don't let that fool you...some of the best burgers and other bar food around! The staff is friendly, the beer selection is not vast, but good, and it is a great place to hang out and watch a game, or bring a game and hang out! I love a great local bar where I feel safe to hang out by myself or take others to enjoy, and Simon's delivers on all fronts!

Awesome little bar! Got three electronic dartboards, pool table, great prices, great environment and they got the NFL package. love Burger Monday Giant Burger fixins cheese a side and a bag of chips for $5!!! Cool staff too!!!

I moved to Florida in 2021 (with the rest of the world) we settled in Dunedin. I found Simons as a neighborhood pub for a cold pint and in the last year and a half Ive watched the place become so much more. You can expect great food, always-friendly staff and a great mix of regulars and visitors. Great place to watch the games, shoot some darts or just hang with friends on the front patio. It’s one of Dunedin’s best kept secrets. Highly recommend

I've lived in this neighborhood my whole life and never had I been to Simons. Went there for the $5 burger Monday night to try it out. I'm impressed the service was good, the bar clean, tons of seating, and the food was delicious. We will be back.

I had the party melt. And it was absolutely excellent! Mike is spot on in the kitchen. With the limited amount of equipment he has he actually puts out a great meal! Need to try the French dip when I go back as several patrons recommended it.

Please, don't spend any money here on food!!! I got a patty melt with chips and potato salad. I, also, order a Ruben with chips and macaroni salad. The only thing that was edible, was the patty melt. The Ruben had pressed corned beef (from the Dollar tree),& 2 handfuls of canned sour kraut on it. The "house made potato salad was bland& the macaroni salad was awful. Not to mention that it took 40 minutes to get the food. There's much more to be said... Please, just Don't go!!!

The owner does not care about safety of his customers, only the money they bring and making the business look good. Last night there was a couple fighting. The man was getting very aggressive and a bystander called the woman over to sit with her for safety. Eventually the bystander had to call the police for the young woman, to which the owner kicked all of them out of the bar and said “I was watching it on the cameras, it was under control, this is bad for my business”. What’s bad for your business is not considering the safety of your customers and even the officer on scene said that. What I don’t understand is how you’re going to allow a woman to almost get hurt in your establishment, wouldn’t that be bad for your business as well ? I highly suggest staying away from this bar. The owner only cares about money, not about the people paying his bills.

One of the bar Associates were so rude to me I went in there and asked if they had water they said they had bottled water I said oh okay never mind then and then I asked if they had tap water and she said yeah I said is it free she says I don't work for free! That ia so rude its a hot day and u wanna say that ugh the audacity i would rate it a negetive 5 if i could

We were welcomed warmly when we walked in, and it continued to impress. The place is under renovation, but it didn't hinder the experience. The food was amazing (I had the chicken quesadillas), and our bartender Maureen was a delight. The owner brought our food out and introduced himself. What a pleasure! I'm looking forward to the next visit!

So this bar has been there for along time and I haven't been in at least 15yrs updated and nice bartender was excellent and food was really good so I'll be back 4 stars cause no liquor just beer and wine

Classic dive bar with a decent selection of beer, a big outdoor patio, and a solid bar-food menu (burgers, subs, sandwiches) with fair prices. Easy place to drop into, harder to leave :-)

Great little diamond in the rough. Food was great. It was very clean and friendly staff.

They now serve food. No more indoor smoking but they have a new patio out front. Pool table, dart boards, juke box, golden tee... They're stepping their game up. Also, lots of TV's for sports. The staff is friendly and so are the regulars. The owner, Steve, is pretty cool too. 😉

HUGE PORTIONS AND INEXPENSIVE (ESPECIALLY FOR DUNEDIN) CHECK IT OUT ! GREAT BARTENDERS ! NO MORE SMOKING INSIDE, COVERED PATIO w/ ceiling fans and a TV. Great jukebox and live music by Sean DeLong on Wednesday nights *7-10pm (*subject to change) BIG CHANGES... THEY'RE DOING A GREAT JOB THERE !

smoking bar.. one of the few left i dont smoke anymore but if you dont mind the smoke the bar is a nice dive bar with minimal food and great prices and deals for games and events

I love this place. It's a great cheap local stop for those who live close. Everyone in there, bartenders and patrons, are very friendly. Never a bad time. It is currently smoking friendly inside. That will change when they get food.

Simon's holds lots of memories for me and my husband and our friends. Was there yesterday for a memorial unfortunately. Haven't been to Simon's in a very long time . A new owner has ol Simon's now and he has made the place look fantastic

Great pub to go to everyone is friendly including all of the staff. Bartenders are great and on point with service. Darts pool and a few other games to keep you occupied definitely make you feel at home and part of the family. Great place and good friends all around makes me not want to leave Florida. Great place for tourist and locals to visit would highly recommend it.

Went in for a visit during a Tuesday dart league. Bartender (Chris I believe was her name) was personable, prompt, and courteous. Great little bar to visit.

I stumbled upon this little pub while doing laundry next door, and Im so glad I did! The staff is friendly and always recognizes me and remembers my brand. Its dark in a good way, has a juke box that doesn't have an hour wait to hear the songs you play and a couple of pool tables. In my opinion, everything I need in a bar. I don't know why I'm telling you this, it will just got more crowded...

A laid back bar with nice people. It's not extravagant but I was happy and comfortable there. Bartender was respectful and prompt with my drinks.
