Sometimes I really like the food here but I have to admit didn't like the service very much a couple times I've been there. Once I ordered the eggplant rotatini came home ate some of it and realized it was lasagna didn't say anything about it until the next time I went there I had to say please make sure I get what's ordered. Fast forward 4 months.its .March 2024 and I ordered a calzone again because it was amazing last time. Well this time awful. I had to scoop out the center and have it on pitas..Just couldn't eat the charcoal black crust. So bitter.i have memory problems so this had to be documented. Do notice the massive puddle of grease and juice. I actually like that .Most people would have just thrown this in the trash but I was starving and exhausted in a lot of pain so I just did the best I could with it . I would have just been better off staying at home tonight. NEW: I am issuing a cross~Dunedin notice that there are so many really innovative and what I like to call gourmet grunge Recipes like the ones you see on the gourmet cooking shows and things don’t seem to change very often at many of our local restaurants so I am asking that chefs do specials quite often with really innovative or gourmet grunge items. I’m gonna have my own rating system from now on we’re at the beginning of every review I’m going to say whether I’m bored with this place and they’ll be three degrees of this. Bored, relatively excited, and exciting and innovative.

The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is always top-notch". I love that they use fresh ingredients, which makes the flavors amazing! I love wings and Frank’s pizza has the best wings, to go along with their delicious pizza. The staff here is Absolutely Wonderful and always make you feel very welcome. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and I have never had a bad experience. Frank’s Pizza and Restaurant is the Best!!!

The girl who took my order did not Understand my order. Which was a slice of pizza with green peppers on it. She kept saying a slice with pepperoni i haf to keep repeating my self and the pizza was dry it felt like biting a peice of carton. She Probably gave me the oldest piece they pat

Aswome food they just need to hire people without attuides I used to take out onuce a month and because of attuides from young girls I go to Tony's or Madison Ave.

Nice local pizza place to order carry out or dine in.

I was given a tip by my barber to check out the quality of their pizza. I sat on this request for a couple of weeks until one day I had the urge to have great pizza. That day was yesterday and I will not order from anyone else in Pinellas county ever again. It was simply the best pizza I have ever had. 16" pepperoni, mushroom, and ham was to die for. The sauce was just the right blend of tart and sweet. This is how pizza is supposed to be made.

Pizza was good, nice little pizza spot. Nothing fancy, just good food.

They always under cook their pizzas. Best to take them home and cook them the rest of the way in your oven. Recommend 350 for 20 minutes on a warm pizza stone if you have one. Outside of that the pizza is good. Not the best but good if you live close by.

I love to come to Frank's pizza. The service is so good and the food is delicious. I'm glad we found a pizzeria that make chicken rolls. This is the only spot that we found that makes them. We also ordered garlic rolls and they were so fresh and delicious.

I live in Dunedin. Had this pizza for the first time today. Respectfully Santoro's and Eddie and Sam's are super delicious as well. Frank's went for the fence on this one! This is true authentic NYC PIZZA! Down to the ingredients! I got a small pepperoni little extra sauce/ and slightly well done. I think you get a better bake. I definitely will be back and can't wait to get to know your staff. Dave Portnoy would have enjoyed!

I love their eggplant Parmesan and spaghetti. The sauce is tangy and spaghetti is cooked perfectly, never over cooked. Best sauce in the world 😋

I all honesty I have never posted a negative review but this was over the top. I live in Dunedin, own a home and raised my children here. Never have I had an Italian restaurant charge me 3.00 extra for lettuce, tomato and onion on an Italian hoagie. The bread was tough and way too thick for the single slice of cheese, single slice of ham and single slice of I don't know what. It was very dry and just plain horrible. For 15.00 that is all we got. I was so disappointed and angry. Money is tight in this economy. No one was even nice there. That is my take on Franks....for what it is worth. Worst food I have ever had from an Italian restaurant !

Great diner style pizzeria and Italian restaurant.

Our order was incorrect. The young girl working the phones mixed up the order with another of the same name. She was then treated unkindly in front of us and other customers. She was made to cry. When we got home they called us to ask for more money. I typically order from there once a week. I’ve been shown a very different side of Franks. Probably won’t return. As for the young girl, find a job with people who appreciate you. Good luck sweetie :)

We love this place. We always order the fried calamari, pasta pagiolli and wings. They have the simple foods that my kids like but they also have pizza, calzones and pasta dinner dishes. There is something about this place that keeps us coming back.

I ordered the veal Marcella and my husband ordered a meatball sub. Well he enjoyed his sub. I thought the Ville Marcella sucked in. They used fake mushrooms and they told me when I called that I should’ve asked for real mushrooms. That’s how they thought they were solving the problem. I’ll never go back just because of that and the manager just sucks. And I also ordered angel hair pasta, and got linguine, but he didn’t seem care

Last 2 Franks Supreme pizzas I have ordered here have been great. I'm thinking is our new go to italian place!

Very water, not tasty! Why is my pasta watery? This was my first time trying them and I wouldn’t recommend them to even a dog! For $20

I ordered a cheese pie and a spinach calzone. I was so disappointed with my cold food, the calzone had hardly any filling and it was over cooked. I have been going here for a long time and told many people how great the food was. I was so embarrassed to serve this to my friends. Not happy......

Sausage roll is one of the best I have had in a really long time Meatball sub was good. I didn't care for the sub roll they use, but still good Pizza by the slice was also good

Overall a great experience price was decent. Calamari was fresh not over cooked and perfectly seasoned and fried. I loved the crust of our 18 inch pizza. The sauce was decent and the cheese blend was perfect each bite had cheese stretching. The server was attentive. The only thing I could suggest is to fix the seats some look worn out and ripped. Definitely coming back.

Ordered the eggplant parmesan tonight. One of rhe best I have ever had. Too much!! Lol. Enough for 2 more dinners. :) Been here a few times. Always consistent.

I ordered barbecue sause on my wins and received hot wings with barbecue sause over them,also ordered meatball sub that had almost no sause.I cannot eat hot wings not the first time order was messed up I spend alot of money there.

Nice family atmosphere reasonably priced, beer too, and one of the best pizzas around. Upside down in a large please!

The food here is pretty good, 4 stars since the pizza is a little greasy and a bit, floppy but overall good, the service there was amazing when I went. So I would definitely recommend to go there sometime if you want something quick.

Nice place. Dine in or take out.

Solid pie. 7.3/10. Crispy crust at the end. Slight flop, good flavor. A little bit greasy, so u may need to give it a napkin or two. Service was good. Beer was as expected. Price was well worth it.

Got a couple slices to try for my first visit. They were very salty but not much flavor otherwise. Crust was thick and tasted like flour. Very disappointed.

What an amazing find. The Angel Hair Bolognese, veal piccata and Oreo cheesecake were phenomenal and definitely gonna go back 🤤.

First visit, lunch time busy but good sevice. Had the pizza and it was a good NJ, NY style pizza. We will be back to try something else from their menu. Also there were lunch specials.

We have ordered pizza, lasagna and tiramasu. The pizza was only fair at best. The lasagna was circular, and there was a 1" noodle surrounding the pasta and meat. So obviously, you didn't get much of a serving. The tiramasu was just barely thawed out which destroyed the taste and enjoyment. I don't think we will be back.

The pizza was good. But it was disturbing when our waitress had a table that dashed out and did not pay. The disturbing part was that she told us that her boss takes that from her pay when that happens. I’m thinking this is illegal.

First and last time ordering from Frank's take out tonight. Ordered chicken picatta, an ex large pizza, antipasto salad and philly cheese sandwich. The food is SOGGY and GREASY. Just butter, grease. The pizza is DISGUSTING....it gets soggier and more disgusting as it cools. No fresh garlic on the pizza, it was garlic from a jar and obvious teaspoons of jar garlic just dumped on pizza in spoonfuls not spread around. The chicken picatta is just flattened chicken drowning in butter.....no flavor all for $76 and change, pick up. NOT WORTH IT. GROSS.

Glad I finally walked in! Clean place. Great environment. I have only found 1 other grab and go pizza by the slice place that I like in the clearwater area since I moved down from NJ/NY, but its a bit far from me so I rarely go there. You will be seeing me more often 😎👍🏻

Multiple occasions had a roach in our pizza box. Never again

Cute place with good food and service. However, recently I ordered a slice of mushroom pizza and it came with mushrooms on top right out of the can. Most places will serve fresh sauteed mushrooms. I guess I'll ask next time. But still like this place overall.

New York style pizza was excellent

When ordering delivery they have messed up my order more times than I can count but will redeliver items they messed, I usually order every Monday night but called tonight at 830 and weren't taking any orders for delivery or pick up they were closing early because they were slow. Their sauce is really good but not tonight

I'm from NJ. Trying to find a pizza like home was hard, until Frank's. Crispy crust, perfect sauce. Also had wings and soup. Soup tasted like my grandmother made it. Frank's has become our go to on Friday nights 😘

Family owned Italian/pizza restaurant. I discovered this place when I was working next door at the local music school. The staff is so incredibly friendly and attentive. They have the best pizza slices and meatballs. The service is attentive and fast. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant provides a “homey” Italian feel. You keep coming back for the service.

Been coming here for years. I am from New Jersey and we know pizza! This is the best around. Pizza is authentic NY style. Chicken parm is awesome. Penne alla Vodka is the bomb. Calzone amazing! Wings are really good and best price in town! Mozzarella sticks are really good as well. If you haven’t tried Franks do so soon!

Driven by this place, so many times, but they were always closed. And, I've been wanting to try them out. I finally got a chance, and ordered take out. I was not disappointed; the food was excellent, the staff was friendly and looked as though they enjoyed their job and the environment is great. I will return.

Oh my goodness. I want the management and owner of this restaurant to know that they have my kid and I absolutely LOVE this place. My child takes music next door and after trying this place I was blown away. The pizza is absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is also five stars. I love the old school pizzeria vibe. We have decided to come here every week after music lessons. Thank you for bringing us happiness! This place should be five stars! Best pizza around.

I ordered the Frank's combo pizza which was under cooked. I asked for it to be put back in the oven, and they returned it black. Guess they didn't appreciate me asking to have it corrected. What a shame.

Pizza is awesome... just like my NY pizzeria! The chicken cutlets parm have a LOT to be desired. They're too thin, too dry and hard. Sauce is great and the bread is great but I refuse to pay 11.99 for bread and sauce. Please fix this.

Got an 18” Cheese Pizza for the kids and they liked it. I’m not the biggest fan of NY Thin Crust but the dough was good and the pizza was cooked well. I was in the mood for a sub so I tried the Chicken Parm Sub. I appreciate that they used hand breaded chicken cutlets instead of frozen chicken fingers but the execution was terrible. The chicken was terribly thin and overcooked that lead to it being very tough with an almost jerky texture. The roll used for the sub would have been great as bread service but was very hard to eat as a sandwich. Very light on the sauce so it was dry. Very disappointing. I really don’t like giving small businesses 3 Stars or less but there wasn’t enough good to outweigh the bad. Staff was friendly on the phone for ordering and pick up.

I order a veg stromboli, I asked two marinara sauce.They put one sauce and one hot sauce.ZI could not eat it.I called and the manager was rude and refused to refund my money or make me a new one.We won't be going back there.

Our first time there & our server was great, the menu expansive, the food delicious and as a nice surprise they even had spumoni for desert. Placed it high on our list of favorites and we will be going back soon ! Oh and I might add that a slice of pizza was quite large!

We got delivery. 1 dish was not at all good. They asked if they could redo. Said no. I said remove from my bill. They said we usually don't without the food cuz people like to get free food. Mgr was TOTAL jackass!!!! He said same thing. Will never go back and we went alot!!!!

Coming from NY, best Italian food and real NY style pizza in the area.

5/2023 Decent NY style pizza. Decent sauce and cheese. Box gets soaked with grease, transfers to car seats, gets all over hands, etc. without proper protection. Higher rating if they had paper plate and/or parchment down to help protect the bottom of the box. 8/2023 - :(

This place is absolutely trash. The place is cramped and outdated. The timing of food isn’t lined up. My meals were kept on too of a refrigerator while I needed to wait 30 minutes after I was told my pickup time. Will never go here again. Management avoided me and refused to talk to anyone in line.

Eggplant is the best I have ever had. Disappointed they don't have a small salad to add. The only one is to large and pricy.

Surprisingly bad. After all the "reviews" I gave this place a try. It was about 2 pm. Ordered 2 slices to go....just to try. While waiting, met a lovely woman sitting at the counter. We started talking, 15 minutes later I stopped the waitress and asked about my slices. "They're coming!!" she snapped. 2 slices to be heated in an empty restaurant, and she snaps at my inquiry. (young thin light haired girl sittingin her booth on phone). So, 5 minutes later, the brunette waitress approaches me, and says "they'll be ready soon" The woman looked at me like wth?? I've been in the place for at least 25 minutes. As I'm waiting and watching, I see the dark haired waitress wipe her dripping nose up with her hand, and go right back to what she was doing. She then handled my pizza box. I was starving at this point and wondered if she handled my slices. Finally... she brought over the box. I paid reluctantly and left. Opened the box in the car and it was a no crust grease fest. Box was soaked with GREASE. pizza was so flavorless, so greasy, it must have been sitting there all day. So I threw out the second glob. HOW does this place get such great reviews?

Disappointed, order 3 pizzas all stretched paper thin in the middle you couldnt even pick the slice up out of the box sloppy mess so much flour on the bottom of the pies smh find a better pizza man pay more money if you have to it will save your business 2 of my neighbors stopped ordering from here for the same reason and I think that was my last time as well. I will save you the embarrassment of pics you could definitely tell by looking at the pies they should have all been remade but where sent out anyways

I had the lasagna, but it was not a lasagna it was a pile of noodles on top of some spicey meat with everything covered in cheese sad excuse for a lasagna. Very disappointed!!

Amazing. The calzones we ordered were stuffed with toppings and delicious. Well worth the price.
