Been here three times, love Korean food, and keep wanting it to be better than it has been. I've been to many Korean restaurants and had traditional bimbimbap... That came out on a hot dish and had an awesome crispy rice bottom. Here, just an overpriced bowl of white rice with a light layer of vegetables. Very anticlimactic. Anytime you make a comment to them about service, the reply is "this is the traditional way"... Now while I am all for tradition, you are in the service industry - and while I am not Korean, I have been to other "traditional" Korean restaurants where things were very different. If everybody ordered appetizers and there is one person who wants their soup to come out before their meal, bring them their soup! Don't tell them that soup traditionally comes up with the rest of their meal while they sit there and watch everybody else eating. Lastly, during my third and final visit... Because I can't bring myself to go back... It became apparent that not everyone in the kitchen wears a hair net.

This place was such a nice a stop during a road trip. It feels like it’s tucked away in a small town, but everything about it is spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks, the bao buns stood out for their immaculate taste, and the entrees were great. The server was attentive, the decorations beautiful, and the overall experience to match. I can’t wait to visit again.

KFC was great! Steak and Pork Baos were great! The guac is phenomenal.

My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner with Blue Spice and could not have been happier with the service. Frieda, the owner, was an absolute peach. Not only was she was extremely responsive with all of our questions, but was also incredibly warm and kind. We gave her everyone's names, orders, and dietary restrictions ahead of time which she followed perfectly. The food was exceptional, and we had many of our guests go out of their way to tell us how delicious everything was. The servers were also extremely kind and accommodating- she had her 'A' Team that night! We cannot recommend Blue Spice enough! Thank you again, Frieda! <3

This place was amazing. It's in a small little town, but they exceeded our expectations. The experience, service, food. Everything was top-notch. My kids wanted to stay there😅😅😅

The food is really good.. that is where I would stop, my family spent over $100 in this place to be greeted by a live RAID spraying while we were waiting for the check. The smell was intoxicating. We felt sorry for the family that was still eating. The staff could have easily waited for the restaurant to be empty before subjecting their patrons to a LIVE fumigation session. We will take our business elsewhere.

Two stars at best Thigh meat is dark meat Waitstaff thinks they are educated in food but actually come off pompous and arrogant. You never really know who’s walking into your establishment and you’re better off being honest and say idk. Over payed for sweet soy sauce and dark meat scrapes. Luckily the competition around you is also poor.

I come from NYC and even compared to Korean restaurants there, this place is leagues better. It's crazy. The owners put so much soul into their food, and the recipes are honestly genius; a modern, creative take on traditional Korean cuisine (for example, the exquisite Fried dumplings shells with Guacamole). My SO and I were visiting the area for our anniversary and this dinner was the best way to punctuate our vacation. This restaurant went from being a simple craving to a reason to come back to the area. I wish the owners big success and we hope to come again in a few months!

This place is such a hidden gem! Wonderful staff, delicious food, and a cute atmosphere! Exciting menu, so much to pick from but The Bao is my favorite so far. I got the shrimp and the tofu ones which were both delicious! BYOB, but they have fun specialty non alc drinks..I love the hot yuzu tea!

4/24. This Asian fusion restaurant is owned and operated by a husband and wife team. One of whom is Japanese and the other is Korean. The food here is excellent in flavor and presentation. The atmosphere here is not Asian but American and somehow that surprisingly works. The decor is reminiscent of an early American bistro and the music is a pleasant 70's mix. The service was excellent. Our server, Kyra, was knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend asking for her service when making reservations. A must go!

Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious! The hot yuzu tea and iced coconut milk and mango drink were a hit. As well as the kimchi pancakes. Boa buns and the curry were delightful. This restaurant is so cute and the perfect spot for a Sunday lunch. The moment our waitress, Kyra greeted us, it felt like she was one of the girls. She was so friendly. Unfortunately, she did seemed understaffed where it seemed like Kyra was doing EVERYTHING. Maybe it’s just because it was a Sunday, but nonetheless she kept a positive attitude and did her best to accommodate all the customers with a smile. I can’t wait to come back.

Hidden gem of a restaurant- Came to this area of NJ visiting Crystal spring resort and found Blue spice kitchen and decided to try it out with my wife. First impressions walking in - amazing decor, love the interior design. Atmosphere was warm and cozy. Everything was clean. The waitress (Kierra - sorry if got the name wrong) - she was very delightful. Extremely friendly and had a positive fun personality. We ordered the volcanoe kimchi fried rice and bulgoghi with rice. Very good dishes. Taste was spot on. Taste similar to if I was in south korea. Prices are fair, great service, tasty food. Definitely would recommend

This spot is a hidden gem in Hardyston! Everything we ordered was delicious. My only complaints are that the drinks are quite sugary and they don't offer kimchi as a free banchan..otherwise the staff and food were fantastic! We'll be back. :)

Fantastic gem in NJ. One of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. The smoked duck was perfectly cooked and stayed flavorful and moist accompanied by a delicious wasabi cream that was not too overpowering. We also enjoyed the dumplings and each flavor was packed with flavor and paired with a perfect scallion dipping sauce. The Bulgogi was spot on perfect, the meat was tender and it was super flavorful with some perfectly cooked rice and pickled vegetables. We also enjoyed the layer mousse cake which was a great way to finish our night out. Finally, the staff was perfect, everyone was friendly, they paid attention to every detail. Highly recommend, Blue Spice is definitely worth a visit!

Highly recommend. Great choices and everything was good. We got dumplings (one of each) and the Bao buns (one of each)- I love having that option to try them all. We also got the glass noodles. The table next to us got Market Ramyun and Volcano Kimchi Fried Rice, both looked really good. I’d like to try those next time. For drinks we got the Royal Pear Cinnamon ( served hot) Delicious and POM My Valentine(tasty but too sweet, TBH). Portions are generous and service was friendly and attentive.

I had dinner here about a week ago, The food was terrible, I had shrimp and rice, shrimp was raw, they cook the egg in front of you, where the rice is very mushy & taste awful, the drinks are good and staff is nice, but my advice is don’t eat here, the people that say the food is good have no idea what good is.

I've only done takeout but it's always fresh and delicious.y only critique in the bibimbop would be more protein, less rice.

The food itself is incredible. Best duck I've ever had. Cooked flawlessly. All the dishes were cooked perfectly, good size portions as well. Service was excellent. The place itself was clean and neat. Can't wait to go back.

Best food I've had in a while, and I am super picky! I'm surprised to find such good Asian food near a ski mountain, and BYOB is a plus. Service was quick and efficient, and I had the most scrumptious meal after a day of skiing. You won't regret coming here!

Went for the first time the other day the menu is full of wonderful food, teas, and other drinks. The staff is personable and warm. Reservations are recommended for around dinner times. I definitely recommend this Asian/American fusion restaurant.

Came here with my family for the first time as we stay in Crystal Springs often. We ordered the Edamame & Dumplings which were a hit with the kids. For my main course I ordered the U-Ni Jjajang which was delicious and filling. The rest of the family ordered the Bao, Bulgogi Ban-Sang, Station Udon, and Japchae Glass Noodle which were all excellent, and even had leftovers for the next day. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Ganache Pecan cookies, and the "Box of Dream" which was very different, but fun to eat. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area.

What a great hidden gem of a place! You can tell so much care is put into every part of their operation and the Japanese and Korean influences of the owners really shine through the menu offerings. The dishes are all delicious, presentation is beautiful, serving size is more than generous, and service is top notch. Have gone for a date night and also with a large group and had a wonderful experience both times.

Kimchi and scallion pancakes were very tasty Fried chicken was nice and crunchy Bao buns recommend to order as a starter for sharing or as a main for one Kimchi Cheesy Bites with bacon were a very crunchy nice bread bite Side of kimchi -highly recommend ,goes gret with everything For dessert we ordered the Mango musse and the Korean desserts taters box, both were delicious For drinks I ordered the Mango, coconut,milk drink which was beautiful and delicious,so delicious I ended up ordering another one. My friend ordered a flower based drink which was very light and lovely to look at:)

Service is awesome . Food is .... hmmm its not the " korean taste " more fushion " It takes forever for the food to come out Kimchi fried rice and the ramyun soup was good . Interior was pretty But its not something I would die for and think about . But its not bad either. The jjajangmyung is sweet Very unique and different . Maybe some people would like it though .

We went for a highly recommended Korean meal. My wife couldn't finish her salmon and I had difficulty with my chicken. The salad was chopped celery with no flavor. Based on this meal we would not go back.

This is my favorite restaurant in Sussex County. Maybe all of North Jersey. The food is prepared with fresh, quality ingredients with thought and love. I had the Market Ramyun with their house made kimchi last time I was here. I also love the Bao Buns. Pretty much anything you order is fantastic. Everyone I have suggested the restaurant to has come back with rave reviews. They are BYOB and have really delicious non alcoholic drinks.

Mango ade has a strong taste of the fruit and I highly recommend trying it out. KFC is very tender and juicy.

Some of the best food and service ever. We had the Korean fried chicken app. We then each got one of the lunch specials. I had the Seoul cheesesteak and fries. I would give this place ten stars if I could. There homemade drinks were also incredible. I will definitely be back .

This is a beautiful place. It is perfect for my birthday after a round of golf at crystal spring resort. The presentation of the dishes deserves a 5 star. The food is good enough given its location. Not perfect, but definitely good quality. And given the quantity of the dish, it’s definitely value choices. Don’t order to much! We had uni-jjajang noodle(okish), Waikiki fried rice(good), and box of dream dessert(beautiful but taste is a soso, a bunch of Korean snacks basically)

I don't know what to say, everything is amazing, try the Bao (the tofu one is out of this world, and I'm not a huge tofu lover usually), or the glass noodles, or the dumplings (the green ties with the beef as my favorite). My wife also loved everything. Super friendly staff too, all of them.

Well worth the 45 minute drive from home. Extensive menu. Have tried over 9 dishes and each one better than the last. Very clean..Good portions!!

Went three times for my two days conference at Mineral Hotel. Skipped the company dinner at the hotel and went here.

I have been to many Korean restaurants in NJ and NY. What really surprised us is how party of 3 were charged $12 total for Kimchi, which normally come free of charge at most Korean restaurants (also free refills). No, it is NOT common for Korean restaurants to charge extra for side dishes including Kimchi. Food and service were good, but cost was ridiculously high. When they ask you if you want Kimchi, remember it is not free.

Wow! Just wow! I've traveled extensively and eaten all over. Who would have thought there's a local hidden gem on Hamburg Tpk in a strip mall ?! If you love Korean American Fusion style food, or even if it's not your bag, go here anyway to try this superbly delicious food!! She had a bento box with salmon, fried dumplings, seafood salad, and seasoned white rice. I had the Bao buns with beef, chicken, pork, seasoned tofu, and homemade guacamole. OMG! These were the very best and tastiest I've ever had! We had the fried gyoza (one of each flavor) prior to the entre's. They were deep fried, but incredibly well-made. The dipping sauce was very unique and nothing like I've ever had. Soooo deliciously good! Prices were reasonable, too, and parking right out front. Dylan waited on us, and he was very knowledgeable with his dish knowledge and spot-on explanation of the seasonings. *I had to laugh......after eating and before we left, we both used the facilities. I got back first, and all I heard was my friend walking through the restaurant to meet me up front, and all she was saying was; "Super good. Super good. Super good....." I highly recommend this comfortable restaurant with lots of seating. This will be my new go-to restaurant when I'm in the area, or at Crystal Springs, or Ballyowen GC. Good for lunch or dinner.

The Bulgoki dinner was delicious complimented with miso and kimchi..

This is a small Korean restaurant that started at the beginning of the pandemic. It survived because the food and service are simply wonderful. You can eat in or take out. The service and the staff are wonderful. Highly recommended. We will eat here again and again. It can be a little noisy though. Some sound absorbing panels might help but we will still go back. It is also a BYOB place. Enjoy.

Great food. After spending several months in South Korea, my husband is always looking for good Korean food stateside. He said this Bibimbap was the closest to what he had in South Korea since being back in the states.

Best kept secret in Sussex county. You'll not be disappointed.

We had our son's graduation dinner here. Not only is the food and service fantastic, but they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for our event. They were even able to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Blue Spice this past May, and all I can say is that they exceeded our expectations. From beginning to end, they were super communicative, super accommodating, and were so eager to make our vision come to life. Jason and his wife are truly amazing people, and we were so blessed and thankful they got to be a part of our wedding festivities! The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Our guests were so pleased, many said they would be back! From the appetizers, to the main course, to the drinks, everything was delicious! The food was excellent! I went in thinking this might not be as great since my partner and I are vegetarians, but never have I been this happy to be proven wrong. The bao buns were perfect, the scallion pancakes melted in our mouths, the kimchi fried rice was mouth melting (I added some extra gochujang sauce to make it spicy) and the Box of Dreams desserts lived up to its named. We were stuffed and content with the quality of food that was served. Our server was really sweet, and he added a second mochi when we told him how much we love mochi. Make sure the swing by if you are in Sussex. This place is easy to reach even from PA and NY, so do drop by!

Very tasty food! Friendly and helpful staff

Service was good but was not impressed with the food. We visited as several people spoke highly of food but it was mediocre if that. Food was bland and had no flavor. Even things that were labeled as spicy had 0 spice to it. We got the volcano fried rice which had 0 taste or flavor. We added tofu to it and it had maybe like 10 teeny tiny mini cubes of tofu in it. I literally had to search for them. The Korean Fried Chicken was ok at best. Sauce was bland and had way too much breading.

Such a great experience, the moment you walk through the door - you're greeted with a smile. The food is incredibly good, nice variety & leaves you feeling full but you still have room for some really good dessert & coffee! Highly recommended.
