The food was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to try more from the menu. Slight issue with an item, but it was a tech issue and it was very well handled by the store. I'm going in the store next time.

I ordered the garlic knots, classic pizza, and mac n cheese from here. I really liked the thick crust for the pizza and garlic knots were pretty good. But I wish for the mac n cheese they would use macaroni instead of shells. I really liked the cheeze sauce tho.

Best Vegan food I ever had and the owner was passionatley authentic about quality an enjoyable experience allaround unlike other vegan restaurants this one will fill you up

Awesome food. We couldn't decide what we wanted, so we got a lot of different things. I loved the pizza. My wife was so excited to finally be able to find a vegan Italian hoagie, and it didn't disappoint. The wings are amazing. Whatever they use for the coating/breading works out amazingly. The pepperoni shoobies are great! Our son loved his Mac and cheese, as well as the cinnamon dessert puffs (sorry, can't think of the name right now). They threw in a cup of the buffy knots, which are the cutest little garlic knots (very delicious). It's really awesome to have a vegan place within an hour of us that does food we grew up with, and without some crazy sauce or ingredients that doesn't belong. We will most certainly visit again!

It’s a cute little restaurant. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered buffalo wings and roast beef sandwich (all vegan of course). I was super excited about the food but it was severely salted. The wings had a nice texture but it was obnoxiously salty. I was stoked about the roast beef. Haven’t had a roast beef sandwich in over 30 years. The sandwich was good but a little salty. I think the bread absorbed the salt. Just the wings and the sandwich ran me 44$. No. I will not return

This is literally THE BEST vegan restaurant! They have EVERYTHING! You can tell that quality is put into EVERYTHING and they’re willing to accommodate you if you want to modify something a bit. I remember coming to this restaurant back when it first opened up and the owners and staff were SO FRIENDLY! Everything tastes SO GOOD that I don’t think most would know it’s vegan if not told! I usually order a Pizza and switch up some of the veggies and the Caesar Salad. I’ve also had had the Funnel Cake and Garlic Knots and it is all DELICIOUS! I wish it was open EVERYDAY but I look forward to the days that it’s open and this is deff my “treat spot”. All the staff are SO FRIENDLY and welcoming here and have smiles on their faces. I don’t mind paying the prices because the food really is THAT satisfying! These people know what they’re doing and have a REAL CHEF in the kitchen. This is where I’d bring someone who I want to show that Vegan food can be JUST as tasty as the alternative. I look forward to seeing this business expand. My mouth is already watering…think I’ll have to stop by here today! 😋

The food was EPIC. This is not a sit in restaurant, meant for take out, but absolutely worth it!!! The wait is worth it too!!! Got a vegan philly cheesesteak, italian boagie, and wings. I've had alot of vegan food and this was wonderful!

Amazing jewel of a restaurant. Great deserts, burgers, cheesecake, pizza balls... Why go anywhere else. This place is off the chain. No completion. You would never guess that it is all vegan.

I walked in as was waited in right away! The sever was very attentive and polite. I had a roast beef sandwich , fries and root beer soda. I loved my food, it had an awesome taste it was “delicious “ I will be returning

Cannot say enough good things about the food here! The Caesar Salad is AMAZING! Get it with the chick'n cutlet, and it's a meal itself. The buffalo wings are so crispy and flavorful. Cheesesteak, sea serpent, and Dante inferno pizza are all awesome too! 4 stars for atmosphere because it is a little small inside for seating, so sometimes you'll have to wait for a table (especially in winter when you can't sit outside). If you haven't been there and are in the area, go try it! I'm almost 2 hours away up in Wilkes-Barre area. It's worth the drive!

Always fun, fresh and interesting Boardwalk foods & pizzas. The fried pizza balls are delish. The chicken Caesar salad is amazing and the dressing is so good. Everything is always made fresh to order... The service is excellent and it always feels like family💖

Great food and staff! I tried the “cheese” pizza and cannolis! Wouldn’t even know it was vegan. This will be a regular spot for me now wish I found it sooner.

My son got take out from Boardwalk Vegan for mother's day. It was a big order because there were 7 of us and he wanted us to try everything. He did have to wait when he went to pick up the food but it was Mother's day and they were really busy. Everything was SO GOOD! I wanted some of everything. The pepperoni shoebee to start were amazing. The french fries are big and you can taste the potato which is so rare now a days. We had the cheesesteak, the roast beef, and pizza. But what I am still craving is the italian hoagie, it was so tasty. It had the perfect amount of fake meat and cheese and the dressing on the lettuce and tomatoes was perfect!

The food is simply delicious Made with love and the owners and staff Are the kindest people you will and should experience. I love this place and hope they stay around FOREVER.

Had a spicy seagull, boardwalk brew milkshake, and cannoli. Had my husband and daughter take a bite and swore it tastes like chicken.

We ordered take out here a few time as well as Thanksgiving catering and every time the food was incredible.

I’ve eaten at a very vegan spot in the area, including the city like Vedge, Monster Vegan etc. and THIS RIGHT HERE is the best of them all, hands down. Everything on the menu is incredible! Legitimately perfect, my only qualm is I wish they were open more!! The Cesar salad with chicken and wings are sooooo delicious.

Ordered a couple things from their menu as a Friday night treat. There was a mix up because when door dash delivered our food it was missing one meal. THE OWNER HIMSELF DELIVERED THE MISSING MEAL TO US. Wonderful service wonderful people.

One of the best vegan places in the area. Creative and delicious! I wish I lived closer to maybe I don't because I'm gain like 29 pounds. Today I got the fish platter and I've had various pizzas and their cheese steak. Also they had canolis today and they filled them on the spot. A must try

Boardwalk Vegan is so bittersweet. I absolutely love all of their food including pizzas, salads, and wings. My only complaint is their tough hours — wish they were open more!

I really like BV's regular menu but I wanted to leave a review to praise their Thanksgiving catering menu! I got the Seitan "turkey" and gravy which was incredible! I froze half of it for Christmas dinner and it tasted just as good. As the only vegetarian in the house it was so awesome to be able to get a delicious main course for both family meals. Also amazing as leftovers the last couple nights I was so sad to take the last bite. Hope BV will do it again next year!!

This place absolutely rips! Every item on the menu is a banger and if you want to feel like you just parked your butt in a pizzeria on the jersey shore boardwalk then plug this place into your GPS. You definitely don’t come to this lil joint for the atmosphere, but the dine in experience is still good. Please get those fries. Please.

Really a 6 star on service. This is what small locally owned business is about. Customized food. Incredibly friendly service and servants who are knowledgeable about their menu. We ordered chicken wings, fries with a tasty garlic dip, cheesesteak and chicken Parm.. All equally 😋. Not too forget the canolli that came for dessert. I can be vegan all day, everyday around here. 😁

Food was delicious! Fun place to eat! The owners are so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied! Ordered funnel cake and they ran out of batter for a full order so they gave us free fried Oreos and a cannoli. So many choices and all vegan! Best red sauce I’ve ever had! Will definitely eat there again, love supporting a vegan, family owned restaurant!

This is one of our favorite vegan places. They have won best vegan cheesesteak and best vegan pizza in Philly. This time my wife got the cliff hanger a mushroom based cheesteak and I got the Jumbo jet which is an enormous roast "beef" sandwich with a creamy horseradish sauce and as jus. so freaking good. We got some milkshakes that were amazing, and my wife always gets the Sea Serpent to go, which is an Italian hoagie. the best we've had.

I'll literally eat anything they make. I had salad for first time... it was amazing. The cannolis are unbelievable. Fries are exceptional, and the "chicken" wings are a must.

The food and the service were great. It's hard to tell the food is vegan and not meat. The chef did a good job explaining their food preparation process. I had their Vegan Philly Cheessteak sandwich and their French Fries. I would eat there again and try something different like their fried vegan Oreos and their pizza.

Boardwalk Vegan filled the hole that Blackbird left behind. The atmosphere is fun. They often have creative and delicious specials for holidays. Best of all, the food is just delicious. Hands down the best pizza you will find in the Philadelphia area. The hoagies and cheese steaks are unbelievable. The fries are perfect, with my personal favorite being the Dante's Inferno Fries. This is a completely vegan restaurant (yay!) but I think it's truly a place anyone could enjoy.

The pizzas and cheesesteaks are incredible and the hoagie (aka Sea Serpent) is the best around!

Food was phenomenal. White pizza is a must. Also the Jet Star was the best vegan roast beef I’ve ever had, which was made even better by the incredible horseradish sauce. Owner is a boss too. Thanks - will be back with my brother-in-law Brian.

Had a cheese “Twister” vegan steak, was excellent. Also tried the “summer classic” cheese & sauce pizza which was the first thing I tried on an empty stomach. It really tasted just like the Daiya pizza from the supermarket except the dough was alittle better than Daiya. Other than that this pizza tasted pretty similar, it was no big deal.

We eat here about once a week. I love the vegan wings. I get the wings with sauce on the side (because otherwise it's VERY salty) and then bring it home, slice it thin and then put them on a bed of greens with the blue cheese. Delicious! I've eaten every faux meat item on the menu and it is VERY good (if much more salty than I'm used to) - with the faux meat items you really can't go wrong (I particularly love the cheese steak and roast beef sandwich) but I go back week after week for the wings. We also have sampled the gluten free pizzas which were quite good, and a vegan root beer float which I would happily order again even though I eat dairy. Do not order their pre-made salads. A friend did this and refuses to give them a second chance because it was SO depressing. The fries are fine for homemade but kind of of limp and soggy. The "cheese" sauce more than makes up for it though and I like it *better* than dairy cheese. I always buy extras and would happily drink it by the cup if I thought my doctors would approve. Other than the salt, and lousy salads, it is notably expensive. Yesterday I purchased "mozerella sticks" and a large wings is was just under $35. As a life long vegetarian who knows that other places a bit further away offer the same items at a lower price, I find this a bit frustrating. Finally, I wish they had more gluten free options. My husband is a gluten free vegetarian and it is frustrating for us to have to go to two take out places for one dinner when my son and I are craving wings!

One of the best cheesesteaks I've had in Philly (the one with the wiz) vegan or not. It was the best vegan cheesesteaks I've had by miles and miles. The wings and cannoli were amazing too. Can't wait to come back

My wife and I are obsessed. Fast and kind service, big portions, and some of the best boardwalk food I could've ever dreamed of. This is one of those restaurants to which I would unreservedly invite non-vegan friends/family -- nobody will be missing the animal products here. If it were closer to me in South Jersey, I'd be there every week. We'll definitely be back though. Thanks, BV!

So much food! The award-winning Twister vegan cheese steak is very good. I do not know how they make vegan Wiz but it tastes authentic. The Old Bay "Pincher" fries rival C&P's crab fries. Salads are huge.. And the Greek salad includes stuffed grape leaves! You can safely bring your carnivorous friend here!

Visited this past weekend coming from out of town. The food here is some of the BEST vegan food I’ve had in the US. It was so good I went back the next day before my flight left. I had the award winning cheesesteak (Twister). All the flavors go so well together. The “Sea Serpent” is their version of an Italian sub, absolutely amazing, 1st time I’ve had an authentic Italian sub since going vegan. Their milkshake was also incredible, not too chunky but also not to water-like. Overall a great experience, I will stop by here anytime I visit Philadelphia!

This food is absolutely incredible and honestly some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had. We got the disco fries, octopus pizza, and cheesesteak. The portions are pretty big and you will not go home hungry. One thing to keep in mind is the inside is small with only 2 tables and a couple barstool seating. I went on a Friday evening and the takeout became a little backed up. Be prepared to wait if they are busy, some as much as 30-40 minutes. The food is well worth the wait and I will definitely go back.

Went here for the first time for dinner. The food was phenomenal! We got the Dante’s inferno fries, the white pizza, the twister cheesesteak, and can’t forget the fried Oreos. Everything tasted amazing and the food was great quality. The cheesesteak was well worth the acclaim! We got a chance to talk with the owner during dinner, he is such a sweetheart and you can tell he really cares about his customer’s experience. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you are in the area!

READ BEFORE ORDERING: Boardwalk Vegan has the best food in the Philadelphia area. The food hits at 100% EVERY TIME which is really hard to find at other vegan spots. The reason I want you to read this before ordering is; expect a wait time. I recommend ordering 20 minutes before you even leave the house. The staff and owners are amazing and work SO hard to make this food amazing. They know all of their recurring customers by name. They’re the salt of the earth and the food is just so good. The owners truly care about the quality of their food. But, because they’re so great, they get a TON of orders. Order on the slice app ahead of time! 100% worth the wait.

This place actually blew my mind. I have been up and down the west coast, up and down the east coast, even a lot of places in the Midwest and nothing comes close. The cheesesteak was absolutely the greatest sandwich I have ever had the pleasure of having. The fries and mozzarella sticks were a great compliment too. Portion sizes are definitely another thing that sets Boardwalk Vegan apart from the competition. You're going to need a box if you eat in, and that's coming from 2 people who never need a box. On top of that, I also got a pizza to go for dinner/breakfast tomorrow, and it looks amazing. I've traveled the east coast, west coast, and parts of the Midwest eating vegan food along the way only to find Boardwalk Vegan a mere hour from where I live, and I can say with 100% honesty that this is the best place I have ever been to, and that has checked all the boxes.

So delicious! I used to enjoy French Dip sandwiches when I ate meat and The Jetstar was so much better without any harm to animals and satisfied that craving! Open a location in Lower Bucks county!!

Just had my first experience at boardwalk vegan and I was blown away. Everything was delicious, but the Sea Serpent (advertised as the worlds greatest vegan hoagie) was one of the best things I have ever eaten. Everything about it was so on point from the taste, to the texture, to the look. The cheesesteak was a close second favorite menu item. One of the better vegan cheesesteaks I’ve had. What really won me over was the vegan tomato pie. I love tomato pie, and it’s very hard to find one that doesn’t have a sprinkling of parmigiana on top. So finding this gem was mind blow. Crispy crust, great flavors. Reminded my of my childhood. The wings were probably my least favorite item. They were good, but a little soggy. If they were crispier they would have been perfect. I will most certainly be incorporating this place whenever I’m in the area.

There are so many delicious options to choose from and so much so that I Had to double check to make sure that everything was vegan. Everything they serve is 100% vegan.
