This place is perfect for a quick lunch. An hour lunch to be specific. We went in around midday 1 pm and there was not a crowd surprisingly. From the food to the drinks it was all delicious. There was a lady we believe to be the manager that was super attentive and great. We can’t wait to go back again soon.

Our server was a whole experience. I love Miami and I’d come back. Idk about parking bc an Uber dropped us off but I did see several kids inside.

Recommend by the hotel valet and the restaurant really hit the mark. The servere was friendly and happy to explain the dishes. They provided both indoor and outdoor seating. The strawberry margarita hit the spot, a Virgin Pina Colada for the driver, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a sampler and shared a rice with fish dish.

Nelson, Ana and Carolina are the best mouth team, tough ones.

This was located close to the Tru by Hilton hotel I stayed; walked a few blocks. The food was amazing. Every single thing we had was delicious. Ordered the Jalea rice: calamari, shrimp, white fish and pineapple. Divine! Best thing I ate on this trip. My son had the kid's cheeseburger with fries and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I would go back every single time.

I came here with my friends and the food was extraordinary! I ordered the fried green plantains with steak and it was 10/10. We also ordered patron shots to end the day.Our server Julian was the best, he was super friendly and helpful 🩷I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in Florida. (They also have a cool robot that serves the food🤯).

It's an amazing place with really good food! A bit on the pricier side, so not somewhere that I would come frequently. But worth it for an occasional visit. The Shakes are also amazing!!!

How does this have a 4,8 google review? The milkshakes are good, but that’s when the positive sides end. The appetizer, some fried stuff - we still don’t even know what was inside is really bad. However, the main dishes were even worse. My brother has a burger and didn’t manage to finish it, and he always finishes burgers. The burger was the one with grilled cheese, and it was so greasy and oily he couldn’t even eat the rest of the day. I had a schrimp arepa and never felt so sick in my life after eating it. I suppose it is the oil, but the food just isn’t it, especially for a 4.8 review. The waiters are nice though.

This venue was fantastic. It was my initial encounter with Venezuelan cuisine. The pork belly was outstanding, and the milkshakes were phenomenally good.

Don't buy the coconut chicha here, it's terrible, it's not even thick and it's extremely sweet to the point of being unpleasant, horrible! And it wasn't cold and they even put ice on it

The food was horrible, I didn't like it at all in terms of quality and price, nothing to do with it, very expensive and very poor quality.

For our farewell dinner during our stay in Miami we chose Bocas grill and have no regrets. The food was delicious and there was quite a variety to choose from. My favourite was the chorizo sausages which was absolutely delicious. My wife loved the seafood fried rice. I also loved the soursop drink which was amazing. The ambience was nice and the cost of the meal was good value for money as well.

We wanted to try some Venezuelan food and we were not disappointed! The walk from our hotel wasn't bad and the food was amazing. I tried the Simon Bolivar tostones (picanha on fried green plantains). The crispiness was perfect and the flavor of the steak with the sauce drizzled over it was a delightful combo. The dish looked as attractive as it tasted! The server was very helpful and our meal was delivered by a robot for her to serve to us!

The place is exquisite and the personnel there does a great job in providing good service to customers.

Food was great but something about the drinks just doesn’t make sense to me. They have fountain drinks and sodas. If you don’t buy their lunch special you can’t get a fountain drink so they force you to buy a $3 can soda (so $3 refills) and can’t opt in for the fountain. This confusion came with the fact everyone only speaks Spanish and can’t explain anything. I don’t understand why you can’t give everyone a fountain drink if you have the option, also increase quality of service by having people with the ability to speak english.

Took my mom out for a drink and we enjoyed our food so much. We sat at the bar and I was ignored so that was disappointing but not surprising. This bocas doesn’t have the best service but the food makes up for it. The happy hour wasn’t bad but they definitely add too much ice to their drinks.

Food is great. My husband & I came here from out of town (as we been here before & had no problems). This time go around, it wasnt the same. We had horrible experience with our server. We were trying to ask questions about certain things as my husband cant have a certain ingredients & the server was getting very irritated & started cutting the conversations to yes & no only. We then tried to order a 3rd entree to take with us to-go for later that night. Well when we mentioned we wanted the item our server told us no that it would be too much food for us. We didnt order it because of him. Not only was it a weird situation when he told us no, he lost a sell for their business. We are highly disappointed & wont be returning. EDIT since i cant reply: i think his name was robert. Cant remember exactly. I remember he had glasses & black hair. We went june 16th around 10pm.

I used to come to this restaurant a lot, in fact I was one of the first to try it and I loved it, today unfortunately I returned and I was disappointed that the dishes are no longer the same, they took away a lot of the flavor and the dishes are not the same, I'm not saying they are bad only that for example the fried fish was almost the same as in Venezuela with pico de gallo and the fried fish next to the shell and it is no longer the same now the dish looks sadder and in fact it is more expensive

The experience was sweet and Miss Eduarda’s service was sweeter, she recommended amazing drinks and entrees. We waited outside for only ten minutes for our reservation, and everything was clean, fresh, and hot. The house music was curated and atmospheric. This was the perfect choice for my Father’s birthday. We will definitely come back.

We came here after my nieces graduation and everything was wonderful. The servers and everyone who works here are very welcoming and friendly. The food and drinks were amazing. We had the sampler and chicharrones for an appetizer. For dinner I had the wok smoked lomo with rice and fries. Everything was so flavorful and the portions are a good size. I will definitely be coming back!

Alright! I saw the 5.9k reviews and decided to check it out. I came at 2:30pm only a few customers so I initially thought ummm how they get the 5.9k reviews. Listen, we were immediately seated - of course - Serviced by Julian (amazing) and ordered the fried Sea Bass with Asparagus and Wok Smoked Vegetables with a strawberry lemonade drink. I received my food by special delivery from “Lily”, a Robot, accompanied by Julian. Simply amazing presentation. Checkout my spread below. 5 STARS and I rarely leave reviews.

Overly salty to the point of inedibility. They used French Fries as an ingredient, instead of serving it as a side dish. Mixing hot fries with cold salad and drowning everything in salty sauce results in soggy fries, limp salad and an overall disgusting concoction. All the meat was cut up as if it was being served to a toddler who can’t use a knife. Terrible.

Food was OK. A little too greasy for my like, there is room for improvement. Tostones were quickly brought, half cook. The rest, not bad. Robert, the server, was zero accommodating, i requested for something and he said it was too big, then wanted noodles and he couldnt help me with my order ***The rudest thing: as soon as we finished, he told us the total $45 without even letting us swallow the last bit or printing the check. We had to request him to print it and leave the table because we weren’t finished yet.

We celebrated a birthday at Bocas in Brickell. Julian was our waiter and gave us good explanations and service. The pina colada was delicious and classic ceviche was perfect. The rice ocean was good but huge. Also enjoyed the catch of the day and sweet plantains. We will return. Parked at valet next door for $4

One of the best experiences I’ve had in awhile

Food was fantastic. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. Sat outside on the patio.

I started with a Pina Colada (exceptionally smooth, delicious flavor), and the sampler reloaded (tequenos were the highlight, everything else was ok). Entrees included the picanha (which lacked flavor, was very chewy, and unevenly cooked) and the Jalea rice (rice seasoned well, but the shrimp, calamari, and fish were coated in too much batter). The chicha venezolana is a mushy Arroz con leche (it wasn't chilled enough, the bottom was warm, the top was cold, and it had an off-putting consistency. Julian was a very polite waiter. The ambiance is nice, but the food quality is lacking.

Excellent food. Great service. The fresh made juice was amazing. I'd highly recommend the mix of mango and pineapple. The atmosphere was just right for relaxing after a long day of planes and airports. Definitely considering going back to try breakfast before we leave Miami.

This was my first time eating this type of cuisine. Our waiter, Julian, was patient and informative. He answered all of our questions with a smile. The choices he suggested were amazing. We had several different dishes, I had cachapa with pork belly. Others had picana fettuccine: ceviches; branzino. We also had a few apetizers. We loved everything. Service was fantastic! Thanks Julian! Reasonably priced. You won't regret choosing to have a meal at Boca's.
