Delicious and very fair prices. One of my favorite spots and the best bakery in fort walton.

As usual, they didn't disappoint with their pastries. My normal spend is $100 for desserts. I purchased 2 muffalettas today and we have not tried it yet.😋

After an early morning appointment I discovered this great bakery with an eye popping array of fresh and delicious baked goods 😍. I enjoyed a delicious turkey and cheese croissant and a vanilla cappuccino. Very, very good! I brought home a loaf of their black pepper Parmesan bread, it was delicious tonight with my soup and a chocolate croissant and an almond croissant. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the service was great. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

During our stay in Destin, we stumbled upon Bon Appetit French Bakery and Cafe in Fort Walton Beach, and it turned out to be a delightful find! This quaint bakery exudes charm and offers a cozy atmosphere. We were on the hunt for fresh croissants and decided to try their bacon and cheese croissants as well as the ham and cheese ones. Both were truly delicious—flaky, buttery, and perfectly savory. The custard cream, though not my favorite, was decent but could use a bit more perfection in my opinion. Even so, the pastries were a nice addition to our selection. Despite the 20-minute drive from Destin, the quality of the pastries made it worth the trip. If you’re in the area and have a craving for French bakery delights, Bon Appetit French Bakery and Cafe is worth a visit—Five Stars!

My favorite place when we visit family in the area. The food is fantastic and authentic. Breakfast here is a joy with some of the best croissants i’ve had. I also love their patisserie options, the tarts are so amazing.

I believe this is where the locals go. We had the Apricot Cheese croissant and a figure eight. Amazing! I bought a few more for the long drive home to Tennessee.

It could use some updating it’s located in an older shopping center with outdated decor but they have great pastries, croissants, macaroons, mini cakes, fruit tarts. Enjoyed the latte and croissant.

The service was IMPECCABLE! The case treats were fantastic and I wish I could have taken one of everything. What we did partake in was outstanding. They were also patient in taking our order as my children were rather excited looking at the pastries and sweets. If we are ever back in the area, we will be back!

Really cute place! I have never stopped in but I was surprised to find a cute place to dine in FWB. They have Mediterranean and French food. They are open from breakfast and lunch.

Do not miss this place when you're in the area! Their breads and pastries are made fresh and are the most delicious things you will ever taste!

This place has the best pastries and crossiants! I have always been scared to try a macaroon because they say the cheap ones aren't good, but these are to die for! I am so glad we tried this place. We will be stocking up on goodies before heading home from our vacation. 10/10 you must stop by here!

This place is hands down delicious. Service is excellent. Pastries are very tasty. The chicken salad with grapes, yellow raisins, walnuts, and generously peppered?? It is absolutely amazing!! Trying the normal coffee with the different syrups and steamed half and half is definitely a pleasant change of pace.

If only i could put zero star! I would do it! Yesterday i bought a bunch of different pastry! None of them are good! All of them are the worst , tasteless, dried pastry i ever had! Would not recommend it! What a waste of money.

Bought a black forest cake yesterday and put it on my fridge to eat today. But sadly the whippedcream on it was already bad. I believed i got a left over cake, that wasnt sold for a few days. PS: Make sure you check your pastry before you serves them.

Lunch items could have been better for the price. Coffee drinks were very good. Macarons were dry and chewy. The chocolate ganache dessert was the best item we tried. Excellent service! Small place, nothing special in terms of ambience. Long established local shop, but wish they could be in a more upscale setting. Crowded and noisy.

I don’t understand any negative reviews here. This place was amazing! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and then walked through the menu. The croissants were delicious. The service was one of the best. Definitely coming back here when we are in town again.

2024 We have been coming here many times in the past 3 years and always enjoyed the quality and service. But today we were disappointed by the service and the quality. It's sad to see a great local business appear to start resting on their laurels. 2021 We just ordered a birthday cake (black forest) from here. We all enjoyed the fresh fruit, light and quality of the cake. One of the best cake ever.

The desserts and breads are the best thing ever. ESPECIALLY the cinnamon rolls. They don't have a buttload of icing like other places.

OMG......I was a pastry chef in my past life and this place is spot on! The croissants are perfect! And so is everything else! I highly recommend the chocolate Almond croissants and the baklava.

We were very pleased with this bakery. Friendly and amazing service. We had the ham and cheese croissant, also the raspberry cream cheese croissant. Delicious! Very light and flaky croissant. And the cappuccino was great! Very reasonably priced!

I went there early this morning 7:00 in the morning the coffee was pretty good but the food made me sick I'm talking throwing up sick let me say I've never thrown up like that in 20 something odd years

I’m so disappointed. I went this morning I ordered the wrong thing. That’s on me however, I offered to pay for the right drink to be made. The lady said it’s fine and continues as if she’s making me the right drink . Come to find out all she did was poured the drink I didn’t want into another cup and gave it to me. If i knew it was going to be a big deal I would have just got my money back and went somewhere else.

Customer service sucks! They will stare you down as you wait in line and won’t greet you or anything. Any time a person of color comes into this establishment it isn’t welcoming.

Beautiful and cozy cafe perfect for the rainy day we had! We ordered the bacon and ham croissant, apple tart, raspberry tart, and chocolate success! The flavor was impeccable and the presentation beautiful- everything they make here reminds me of my grandmothers baking from when I grew up in Europe, bravo! AUTHENTIC pastries and desserts without loads of sugar and colors are hard to find, but here they are! (I mean seriously, look at how the apple tart glistens!)

I went in to get pastries with my wife, and a friend. We were continually overlooked by the employees, customers who came in behind us were served first, when we finally received “service”, the employee was disrespectful and rude. And to mention that we waited all that time for dried out, tasteless pastries… disgusting. I won’t ever go here again, and I recommend you don’t either. Blatantly, disrespectful and disgusting. Good riddance.

Great pastries. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Got the plain croissant, chocolate scones, apple walnut turnover, hot chocolates and cappuccino. All beautiful presentation, and am sure other items taste better than what we got. The scones super dry and kids couldn’t even eat half of them. Croissant…think like a large version of Cheddars scratch kitchen ones, flavorful but no true (croissant texture). The turnover was good made from the same croissant dough as it should be and I’d buy it again. The cappuccino was nothing to write home about. Hot chocolate was ok for the price. Came in at 8:30am and cases were fully stocked and you can see the locals enjoy this place.

The black pepper bread is crazy. You must try it.

Been meaning to try this place for years. Busy but not crowded when I went. I got two croissants which were very good but also very filling so next time it will be just one. I also had some standard earl grey, hot, which was very good. Nice relaxing atmosphere. I didn't get any dessert pastries but they sure looked good.

For decades this family owned and operated restaurant has been bringing exceptional food and service. Always a treat to go here and and get some homemade delicious goodness! Their selection of croissants are unbelievable and you cannot go wrong with any of the choices. The desert choices will amaze you. Great spot and a must.

If you’re not afraid of carbs this is a great place to visit! Fantastic hand made breads and delicious pastries. Visit for a coffee and sandwich and then order a loaf of bread and pastries to-go for an amazing visit!

Great selection of pastries. They are so pretty I wanna buy it all if it's not a bit pricey. I had the guava and cream cheese croissant which is a bit of disappointment when I cannot taste any guava on it but overwhelmingly just the cream cheese that you might as well just take the guava in he name. Some serious coffee there which I like.

What a great little bakery! This was our first stop after getting off the airplane and leaving the airport lol the food was amazing! You need to go here and try some of their treats

I’ve been coming to Bon Appetite for years and I will keep coming back because it is simply the best cafe on the emerald coast. You must try the ham and cheese croissant, it is amazing. Also, the cinnamon roll is perfection. I love Bon Appetite so much and I think you will too.

As a fellow Bakery & Cafe owner (a couple towns away) I truly appreciate when a business perfects their craft. I picked up 3 baguettes, a macaron sampler, one Tiramisu, one Rum Ball, one Lemon Meringue Tart, one Hazelnut Success and one cream cheese filled everything croissant to share with my team. All were fantastic! I would highly recommend Bon Appetit French Bakery and Cafe if you are in the market for some sweet treats, pastries and/or high quality breads.

Most delicious baked goods. Almost as good as being in Paris 😋 France makes the best food in the world in my opinion!

So, I really love this place pastries and sweets. It’s really good, but unfortunately my husband got me a birthday cake and it was horrible, dry, no taste at all, just so bad. This picture is today, after 2 days since he bought it, and it’s just to show to you how nobody could eat it at all! So disappointing.

I used to live in this area and would get fresh pastries regularly. I was back in town visiting a friend and decided to stop in for some treats. It's just as great as I remember. I've never been disappointed by anything. The croissants are heavenly. I LOVE the guava cream cheese (my fav). Even the baklava is delicious. My only complaint is that it's so far from where I live now :(

Wonderful authentic French Bakery. Open for breakfast also!! French desserts are awesome, as well as breads to purchase...Excellent French freshly brewed coffee. Love this place, family owned and run... It is a great place for breakfast! Also has handicap parking and the handicapped entrance.
