This place was great. The food was very tasty and the prices fair. I chose sushi to have a healthier meal and was a bit disappointed most of the sushi rolls have tempura or cream cheese…meh. Otherwise a great spot!

It’s a location spot. Rice crumbled off two of the speciality rolls. It took almost an hour to receive my order as an individual diner. They actively wiped down my dining space while I was eating, almost like they were trying to get ahead of closing. Flavors were there but portions were also small for what I paid for. Generally, you can go somewhere else

Always a great experience here. A definite go-to for me family. Does get busy during peak dinner hours since it is a small dining area but worth the wait.

If you are looking for food that will fill you up look no further than the rice bowls. Specifically the Katsudon

Nice atmosphere And variety options..

Me and my daughter went to eat sushi it was good. The Japanese lady I think Misa was very pretty sweet cashier. She got us refills I dropped my chopsticks she gave me new ones. I’ve been here before they have good food. The restaurant is so clean and organized

This was one of the best sushi spots we have been to and does not cost a lot. A lot of sushi places try to be fancy, but this place focused on quality food and great customer service. Our waitress, Kate, was so friendly and helpful with our order. The food comes up quick, fresh, and was delicious. Delicious. Had a small miso soup, edamame, a side of noodles, and some sushi rolls. The AC was a little cold for us so we put on our jackets. I also had the green tea and my wife had a glass of their red wine.

This place is overpriced. Ordered take out and the amount of food I got was ridiculous 😅

Some of the best ramen you can get anywhere around here. The broth is super flavorful without being a salt bomb, the pork is juicy and has a nice freshly grilled flavor, and the eggs are soft boiled and marinated making this one of the best ramens around. The restaurant itself is small and very cold inside and $17 is a lot for ramen, even of this caliber. So, if I had to deduct half a point somewhere that's where it would be. Overall, amazing experience, will return in the future.

Our family came for a late night dinner after the beach. The server was awesome and the food was delicious. My parents thoroughly enjoyed it!

Warmly greeted at the door and seated promptly. There's plenty of sushi bar seating along with two and four tops, and even a few larger spaces. Only atmospheric gripe was being ridiculously cold. Extensive menu with something for nearly everyone. Appetizer and main were brought out quickly, and were of great quality! Plenty of parking coinciding with the hotel next door.

The food was very good me and my family had a great time, and our waiter Miffy was one of the best, we went in a week ago and ordered and came back and she remembered our order from a week ago. Least to say this place is great 10/10 would recommend.

The food was 5 stars. I love trying new things there. We were on vacation and went twice in 4 days. Sushi is the best I have ever had. Also I want to mention a server name Miffy. If you go there ask for her. She will have you laughing and she is the sweetest person ever.

the food at this restaurant is AMAZING!!! i have been coming here for two or three years and i’ve never ordered something that wasn’t good!! not only do they have excellent food, but the service there is absolutely astounding!! especially this one server named Miffy!! she has the sweetest personality and even remembered what we ordered from a week ago. definitely one of the best restaurants in Flordia!!

Hands down the best sushi and Japanese restaurant on the emerald coast. The lunch specials are top notch. My go-tos are either a chef's special sushi roll (very customizable) or the teriyaki bowl.

Husband and I got a bunch of shareable. Including wontons, fried rice, regular rice, stir fry veggies, cutlet, boa buns and more. Everything was perfectly cooked. Nothing was too salty or over seasoned, just simple pure deliciousness. Server was friendly and attentive. Reasonable prices for the amount of food received too. Highly recommend boa buns!

The servers at this facility are selective on who they treat with respect and courtesy And who they snob off. Not a pleasant experience. They REALLY NEED to realize that we are all created EQUAL .

The wontons are so delicious, you'll want an entire plate! The peach lychee sauce is heavenly and balances the dish so well. The steak yakisoba was just alright. The crab and bacon sushi rolls were pretty fair, but the sushi rolls were not well rolled and falling apart, making it difficult to eat. Service was great, the staff were all very friendly and attentive. I would come here again, if not just for the wontons!

Through previous dining experiences of being served solo or a party group, I have never had issues with the well-mannered and organized servers for some edible sushi and okay-ish entrees However, recently I’ve been extremely unlucky with having Kirsten (to which I believe is her name) as my server for the past several times with the same attitude that worsens by the hour. I feel as though I am a pretty low maintenanced customer, however the rudeness of Kirsten stood out most, silently ruining the dining experience. It is clear that she is lacking in customer service and is incapable of doing the bare minimum which can be dismissed at first glance by maturity, however, it’s rather disappointing.. Kirsten does not suit the establishment’s image well nor is someone the average person would like to be greeted by upon entering. I hope her bitterness doesn’t taint anyone else’s experience.. the servers are super sweet and are doing an overly-exceptional job, I promise I don’t typically write reviews but this is something that can be evaluated in a person, please do better.

"Best sushi my wife has ever eaten.", she said. So get the specialty rolls as the other sushi did not seem as noticeable. $$$$

There are these “good vibe” stickers placed throughout the restaurant… meanwhile the hostess mean-mugged me at every pass and looked like she wanted to be anywhere else but there … there were 4 of us and we got 3 menus… when the check came … there was a charge of 3% for credit payment already added … I was going to pay cash but didn’t want to ask about having that pass-on expense removed especially since mean hostess was the one bringing the check … and then if you look close enough the “recommended” tip amounts for 18%, 20% and 25% were based off the grand total which included the 3% credit card charge and sales tax … I don’t appreciate that and it felt like a scam.

The best place to get my sushi fix around here. But if you're visiting from a place with really good sushi, then this is just about decent for you. On the other hand, the mentaiko fries are probably the best thing on their menu. I promise it's worth it.

Such a cute little place to get some good sushi. Smells amazing as soon as you walk in. Service is great. Portions are excellent more than I was expecting but everything was yummy 😋🤤. We will be going again.

Great food, great service! I highly recommend reservation for a large group. We have a group of 9 and got right in at the assigned time. Starters-Korean wings, gyoza fried and steamed AMAZING! Dinner was excellent Katsu curry was yummy! Sushi was the BEST!!

I stopped here for a late lunch last week and I was so impressed! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try this place as I’ve always heard good things. It didn’t disappoint. I ordered a poké bowl with salmon and it was incredibly fresh and delicious. The service was truly wonderful. Kayla G. Was our server and she was very sweet, friendly, efficient and attentive. Great place!

Update #2 - staff here efficiently turn over tables without making you feel rushed. Can now also recommend the poke bowl and the Good Life sushi roll - YUM! Update- we came back with more people! Can now also recommend the teriyaki scallops! The garlic chili edamame were a bit bland, but everything else was exceptional! Original review: I am so glad my daughter wanted sushi - we love to find new places in FWB! We were seated with no wait on a Thursday night, and parking was ample. The food at Soi was fresh and delicious - we particularly love the gyoza, steamed but lightly pan seared and crispy on the bottom. The Jonesin roll was my favorite (and the wasabi tobiko was amazing), but we also loved the Mango Tango and the Cucumber wrap Kawaii. We didn't have the sashimi, but it was so pretty I asked the people next to us if I could snap a picture! Service was fast, attentive, and cheerful. We will be back, probably later this week!

Great place to be food was awesome

A few friends and I went to lunch here. They allowed us to come in 1 minute early to review the menu because a large party was coming in. The Rangoons were the best I've ever had, the lychee sauce was amazing.

Soft shell crab is good but go for a cowboy or a different specialty

We've lived in this area for five years now and really regret not trying this place sooner! Coming here from Los Angeles, we felt like there just weren't that many great restaurants in the area, and Soi Bistro is definitely a GREAT place. We had the Katso Curry, Miso Soup, Edamame, Noodles, and my husband ordered a custom role with Unagi, Tuna, Spicy Tuna, and Tempura Shrimp and said it was fantastic. We'll definitely be going here regularly!

This is my favorite Sushi place! As a local, I go whenever I can. My only complaint is that the restaurant is too small. They are so popular they really should expand. Many times I have come for dinner and left because they had a waiting list with a half hour+ wait. I think there’s only 8 tables and a tiny bar? Also makes it hard to bring a stroller of any size. But food is DELICIOUS! The Crazy with eel sauce is 😋

Usually the food is pristine but I ordered the same thing I ate a few days ago and it is not the same or as flavorful as then. The spicy yellowtail was perfect today tho! 10/10

Wonderful sushi. Great service. If you enjoy sushi, I highly recommend it. Kind of small inside. Tables are close. Your neighbors WILL hear your conversation. Not private dining at all, but the nature of a small restaurant. Try it!

It's a relatively small restaurant. They greet you at entrance and are overall really good as both customer service and quality of the food. The sushi guys are always smiling, I personally like to look at them making the sushi.

I moved to FWB in Sept. We discovered this restaurant tonight, prior to coming, like most, I read the reviews. Long story short, I’m posting this BEFORE leaving the restaurant. Like one review said, the Chicken Katsu Curry is fabulous, the cream cheese wontons are not like any I have ever had… fantastic! We have found our go to place for Asian food!

Please don’t try the ramen in this place is miso unsalted and noodles. Sushi is normal and acceptable for the place. Unfortunately I thought was a good idea for ramen.

Visited this place for the first time today. My daughter prefers white rice over fried rice. This is the first time she ever wanted to eat the fried rice, other than from her Korean grandmother. She said each bite has a different flavor due to the spices and is so good… the best I ever tasted. I was worried at first due to the large portion, but she ate 75% of the fried rice and took the chicken Katsu home.

Steamed 교자를 시켰는데 왜 느끼한건지도 모르겠고... 따뜻해야 하는데 차고.. 크런치 롤을 시켰는데 토핑은 완전 눅눅하고 내용물은 적어서 엄청 느끼했어요. 야키소바도 기름지고 엄청 짜서 먹기 힘든정도. 미국에서 이렇게 맛없는거 먹은 것도 손에 꼽은듯. 왠만하면 음식 남기는 일 없고 악평도 안남기는데 오랜만에 돈 낭비한 것 같네요. Gyoja was cold and greasy even we ordered steamed one not fried! Couldn't taste anything but saltiness from Yakisoba. Too stinge on roll ingredients.

This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the area of Fort Walton Beach, FL! The price, atmosphere, service, and food are ALWAYS outstanding! When we lived in the area this is the one place we made time for and now that we're living in Orlando it was hard to find another restaurant to match this quality. The sushi is always so fresh and flavorful! I have yet to find a sushi roll to be below par. My favorite though is the Techno Roll - it's so refreshing and a really good sushi roll to help break up the different flavors. I usually order one spicy, one sweet, and one new roll I haven't tried yet. And the techno roll is my absolute go-to for sweet/refreshing balance. We tried the Ube Flan for the first time and although it was missing the whipped cream element - it was pure heaven! Honestly, the cream isn't needed. This dessert speaks for itself and it's outstanding!! I couldn't believe the flavor and presentation. Just WOW! If you're debating - just come try it. You won't be disappointed.

One of the coolest and best tasting sushi places I have been to in awhile! We not only enjoyed the our sushi rolls, but several other items were delicious. The wontons with peach lychee sauce were absolutely delicious! If you’re into truffle, the mentaiko fries are also a must-order. Overall great spot to grab dinner for a date or with friends.

We aren't fish or sushi fans, but the chicken teriyaki was very very good. Good portion size, flavorful. definitely get the fried rice. The katsudon was also fantastic and unique with the omelette and battered chicken. The server was also very friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed everything about this experience!

Really good food, a little expensive. With a tip, a dinner for two was $75 and we only ordered one sushi roll. Good food, will be back, but probably not too often because of the price.

Food was pretty good:) best thing was a squid salad thingy that I got it was tangy and spicy and overall pretty good, the eggs with my ramen were a bit bland and I wish they had ramen with other options aside from pork(religious reasons and I have a sensitivity to pork) it would've been better if I could've ate the meat but aside from that it's good lol

Let me start by saying I would give a 4.75. Service wasn’t consistent. My sushi came out ridiculously fast, as did our drinks. My friend’s salmon salad took forever and was nothing special. I love the atmosphere and the music. Very small. Very cute. Sitting at the sushi bar, saw that it was run like a kitchen rather than a traditional sushi place. I think this made them work much faster and contributed to the beauty of the rolls. I ordered a piece of tuna sashimi and two rolls and made myself sick finishing them. Some of the most delicious sushi I ever had.

My bf and have been twice now and have yet to be disappointed. I always get steak ramen, he branches out and is never let down. 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic sushi made in front of you. Sushi chefs will converse with you lightly if you're nice. Service is outstanding. The restaurant itself is a little cold. Bring a long sleeve shirt.

Casual style restaurant with very good sushi and sashimi! Lots of gluten free options. Even have a lot of vegetarian options.

I’m typing this review as I sit at the sushi bar finishing my meal. It is the best sushi I’ve ever had. Get the Terminator… it has steak and bacon and other goodness. I am not sure how much more I have to say about that roll, but hands down it’s amazing. You have to try this place. If it’s not #1 sushi restaurant in the area, it should be!! The service is great too!
