My experience visiting Bono's was good. The food was fresh and delicious.

The food is good. Today service was great.

The people are friendly and the service is bad. I mostly ordered out. I sit in from time to time but I don't like that the dine in hours have been reduced so the majority of the time you're required to order outside then stand and wait because no seats are available outside. The wait time hasn't changed over the years, the food quality is about the same but the quantity has reduced.

Pretty good service. The young lady was very respectful, patient, and polite. The food servings seem to be getting smaller. More money for smaller portions.

No issues with the food at any time. The facility could use some TLC or a remodel. Should take more pride in the building. It would attract more customers.

The greens and whipped sweet potato gets me er time

Out of town for a convention, First time eating here. Doesn't seem like the safest area but the service was good and the BBQ was okay. I got the 3 meat meal with brisket, chicken, and ribs. Brisket was good but a bit dry. The chicken was the same issue, good but dry. I did not like the Rock hard ribs. The fries were bland. I wouldn't eat here again over other BBQ places.

Just received my DoorDash order and the cold items are missing. I received the meal but not the banana pudding or tea :(

If the chicken would of been bigger, and one more rib bone for the price it would of been 5 star's all around. But I understand how bad our economy is, so I didn't give 3 star's do 4 star's is sufficient.

Quick, efficient and really good food… not to mention realistic pricing. Always love my stops at Bono’s!

We used to love this place. But lately, they keep skipping out on things. We always get salads. We get home and we’re missing tomatoes, or cucumbers, or cheese, or croutons, or the barbecue they charge you so much extra for. Sometimes we’re missing some of everything from each salad. But if you ask them while they’re packing the bags if they put enough of each item, they’ll say “it’s okay I got you.”

Mr.Kenny and his staff was amazing.I order from this establishment for teachers appreciation lunch and they did not disappoint . The staff was very pleasant,helpful and made sure the food was delicious and ready on time . I was so pleased I returned later that day and ordered dinner for my family and again and everything was amazing the greens,ribs and backed beans are just a few favorites.Please give them a try you will not be disappointed.

I’ve eaten at Bono’s all over north Florida and in the Jax area this is the best one I’ve been to. They prepared my food as I asked(unlike others in Jax that say we don’t do that) and the service was great. Shout out to the pit boss Reggie.

More than thirty mins to close fryers off and almost no food can be made very disappointed to say the least.

Good food at a reasonable price

Either the cooks have changed or they don'tcare. I never get what I request.And the meat is very dry, and it used to be cooked to perfection. The young lady that took my order was the only good thing out of the trip. I spoke to the manager after I got home because of my request was not done. He wanted me to bring it back. These people don't consider the fact that it cost money to go get that food, get home and it's not what you expect or ask for, and then they say drive back. There's this thing called gas, I don't understand why they can't do small simple request and make that food delicious as it should be especially from the advertisements on TV.

The food was fresh and hot everybody in there was pleasant to work with and it was nice and clean

Waiter was excellent. It's been a while since got that level of service. Bono's should do what they can to keep her.

Fiood was seasoned very well. Had 2-meat combo with chicken and ribs. Meat was smoked perfectly. Brunswick stew was really good too. Only improvement is to stop using piglet ribs and start using spare or real baby back ribs.

Worse experience ever! The “new” server didn’t acknowledge us when we walked in and when she came to serve us I asked about the other server and she happily said they fired her, they finally got rid of her. Wtw, she was the BEST but why she had to say that. From there it was horrible she even walked off while I was talking to her because I express how unprofessional she was. Although Chloe didn’t serve us she was apologetic after I express how the service was and said if we ever go back she would happily serve us. Great response to a horrible experience!

I ordered a rib sandwich and told the young lady that I wanted tender parts. When my Husband brought it home it was dry burned and little I called and was told to bring back but had no way, how about getting it right the first time. Today I went to Holley’s bar bq and it was tender and delicious I have been going to Bono’s for over 30 years.Never again the salads are small with things I don’t eat on it to make it bigger

The food is good, but the service is poor, you shouldn't have to call corporate for everything, at some point the restaurant you ordered from should take responsibility for certain actions. I placed an order on Thanksgiving Eve not aware the restaurant was closed and now I have to jump though hoops to get a refund or my food. It's not rocket science, you took my money, give me a refund or my food, it's common sense

Take was fast when got home I realized why,very small plate for $40 3 small slices of pork and beef, pulled chicken seams as if it came from a t high overall bad.

This Bonos by far is the worst Bonos the customer service here just is terrible. How can you have Customer standing to place an order for 30 minutes and you’re sitting right there just talking like it is by far the worst. It is ridiculous.

I have eaten at other Bono's in Jax, but today was my first (and last) time trying food from the Norwood Avenue location. Because my food was delivered, I couldn't talk to someone in person about the food. The pulled pork was burned on the ends and cold in the middle. The sides tasted awful, and the iced tea was hot. Never again.

The service was awesome. The young lady was very polite. The atmosphere was great, but the barbecue wasn't the Bono's of old. The food was just dull, no pizzazz or tastiness. I was very disappointed.

Ordered a large rib platter and only got 4 bones this was on Norwood Avenue . The only Bono's I know that does that in the Hood. Be advised go to another Bono's to get 5 rib bones.

Truly very disappointed I called in my order so I can pick it up and I ordered center-cut brisket and an order of fried squash. So today me and my boyfriend decided to go to the bono's in Norwood instead of going to the one on Merrill road I usually have a good experience with the salads however this time was the utmost worst. I'm very highly disappointed we paid $35 for two salads both salads were Brown lettuce and one of the salads had only a little bit of lettuce I asked for extra lettuce and he told me it was extra for lettuce that already should have been in the box instead of adding lettuce he gave me three extra onions that I did not ask for I will not recommend this location to anyone. The staff were pretty nonchalant and didn't care about my concern. As I have NEVER hear it was extra for lettuce. THE SALADS USED TO BE 8/9.99 AND WOULD B FULLY LOADED. I AM NOT HAPPY and he just threw it on there. I am a veggie lover so I was VERY UPSET I REALLY WANTED TO CRY. but I I jus won't b back. have a great day.
