Such a cute spot! I really enjoy stopping in to grab a glass of wine and read at the bar. Everyone is always super friendly, and the vibe is always nice.

At Book + Bottle, time finds its rhythm. The shelves are lined with stories waiting to be discovered, and the wine flows with an ease that invites you to linger. It’s not just a place, but a haven where books and wine come together in perfect harmony. The staff, attentive and knowledgeable, create an atmosphere of comfort and connection. It’s a place where the simplest pleasures are savored, where the world outside fades away, and you find yourself immersed in a moment that feels both timeless and true.

We love this place! This was a great idea. Friends, good wine, and books go excellent together. The staff is also very knowledgeable about wine and books.

Another great concept. Book and Bottle- what is it? A bookstore with a drinking problem or a bar with an educational component? No matter how you define it, this place is really nice. A refreshing breath of air in the world of wine bars. I like their wine selection as well as their book selection. There is something for everyone to discover. You can sit outside, at the bar, at a bistro table or a high table. I was impressed by the bar tenders memory. They must move their job and it shows. Cheers to that!

As others have pointed out, rude staff, not storing or serving wine at proper temperature, and they allow smelly homeless people inside to sit down right next to you for as long as they’d like to.

Great little hidden gem, I visited with my nephew for the first time, had some wine which btw was great, the people that work there were very friendly. I will certainly return soon.

When the establishment opened shortly before/ at the beginning of the pandemic I was concerned they would not make it. The place is a true treasure with a great selection of books and lots of fantastic wine from all over the world. I enjoyed my stay ( as always) and was happy to see how busy the place is. It is almost impossible to find an independent bookseller these days, or a bookstore at all! The atmosphere is very inviting, the book selection fantastic and inspirational. I hope fellow residents from St. Pete and tourists will continue to frequent this jewel off Central.

A dream combination of two of my favorite things…this spot could not have been more perfect. The book manager who served us was incredibly knowledgeable on both the books and the wine served in the establishment, offering great conversation and valuable suggestions for the literary and drink palate alike. To anyone who enjoys either of these things even the slightest bit - do yourself a favor and drop in.

My book club and I visited and had such a great experience! Although we had less people show than normal, the staff accommodated us regardless and set us up with a larger table just in case! Top notch service, such a cute environment, great book selection and yummy drinks ( I had a red and then the woman up front suggested the oat milk and honey latte which was SO yummy!)

Great espresso based coffee and wine, nice ambience, great staff and hours open (most days till 9) make this possibly the best cafe in town. A current favorite for sure.

I love this boutique wine shop and bookstore, near Central. Service is excellent they have a nice bar where you can order various types of wine and they have a wide variety of books. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, many people reading books and enjoying some wine and friendly conversation. There are several comfortable tables to sit.

There were books there was a bountiful bunch of bottles and some brews too!

Super cute- busy clear there is a following.. baristas/ bartenders weren’t unwelcoming but were not overly friendly. Women working making helping to make wine selections was phenomenal. Ordered a wine flight and macaroons. Was there for happy hour and was never offered popcorn. I did buy two bottles. I would go back if I was a local.

Really cute book store but can get a little crowded

Came here with my boyfriend we ordered drinks and sat down to read, my boyfriend stepped outside for a moment and one of the workers immediately started talking about him to other staff and customers sitting at their bar area they all looked outside towards him and then at me and it was just extremely weird.. I felt super uncomfortable and when my boyfriend came back inside told him we needed to leave so we finished our drinks and left. We will never come back as the atmosphere and employees made it an extremely uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment which is super disappointing as we were very excited to go.

My favorite place my favorite people!!

All of the people who work here are genuinely wonderful human beings. While the place is very popular and can get very busy at times, the tight-knit staff is emphatically attentive and hard-working. They make sincere connections with customers and go out of their way to provide individualized recommendations and service, whether it be wine or books. They are caring, generous, thoughtful, interesting, funny, and down to earth. They rotate their menu selection frequently, so there are always new wines (and beer) to try, and stock a great selection of bottles throughout the store. The general manager is a treasure and works hard to cultivate an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, and makes an unforgettable matcha latte.

I found this wine bar and bookstore in St Pete. Beautiful decoration. They serve wine, coffee, tea, small bites and desserts and you can buy books too. It has tables inside and outside which makes it very cozy.

This place is a cozy, welcoming space serving up wines, teas, and coffees in addition to books. The staff is kind and knowledgable both about books and the wine. Both indoor and outdoor seating available and the space is great for both meeting with people or going solo.

Employees are rude and unfriendly to new guests. I run a big meetup group here in Tampa and they didn’t want our business. I highly recommend not coming here. Take your business somewhere else. The other shops have been more friendly to us than they are.

Seriously, if you live here or are just visiting, this place is a must stop. Quality and selection aside, it is a must stop for a spirit uplift. Coffee , wine, selection of books, yes, but add a staff that loves all of the above, plus you, and you find what St. Pete is all about.

Great bottle and book selections! We each had fantastic iced lattes and a simple little snack of warm baguette slices with butter and raspberry jam. Just perfect!

I was in this shop for a full 7 minutes this morning and no one working felt the need to approach me. The fellow by the door sort of acknowledged me as I entered but his lack of curiosity in regards to the reason for my visit was striking. I perused some wine (looking for a Viognier, could have used some help with that) then turned to peek at the books, even found one I have been wanting, but the energy was weird and I had lost my spending momentum. Also, the wine is not stored/displayed properly and with the abundance of it in stock, I would be worried about the condition of the corks.

Very relaxing place to have coffee or wine with a friend or a date night. The customer service was nice and the environment was soothing. Highly recommended to visit and experience reading a book with a glass of wine.

I feel fortunate to have an establishment like Book + Bottle nearby. It’s such a unique concept, and really well thought out in every way. I meet friends here often and always purchase a bottle of wine (or two or three) to bring home with me. The best thing about Book + Bottle is that you can be certain you’ll enjoy any bottle of wine you choose, because they only select and sell the very best, and at very reasonable price points as well. I also love giving gift cards for the store, because there is truly something for everyone. Whether you want coffee, wine, or a good book, they’ve got it all!

I stumbled upon this place and I’m so excited that I did. There’s so much close by to explore as well, it’s in a great location. But the spot was really cute and had an amazing selection of books and wine, and the staff was able to recommend a good wine for me. They also told me that they serve coffee and that it is a great place to work from home or do schoolwork during the daytime, and then a great social bar in the evenings

I am giving five stars because my wife and daughter loves this place. I would rate it lower because they were out of the things we wanted the three times we went there. I wont go back. One of the times we just left and went to the more expensive Italian place across the street. They have so much potential. But not keeping food and drink items in stock will cripple this business slowly. People only deal with disappointment for so long. I hope this business figures out a way to keep in stock what customers go there for.

This is a magical place for those who love books, wine, and great coffee because it has an abundance of all three! I happen to meet Terra, the owner/founder when she was first developing the vision in 2018. It seems to be all that she ever hoped it would be and more. If you're ever downtown St Pete, you need to stop by for a glass of wine and a good book.

Real nice atmosphere for a place to grab an iced coffee, wine, and some snacks. Service was lovely and drinks were tasty. The charcuterie boards were a little overpriced for the amount of food that was on it, which is why I only gave 4 stars.

Their Mediterranean plate is vegan and pairs perfect w whatever the boldest red they’ve curated & posted on the menu. Book club is rad. Community + quality = I will never stop making electronic music or loving this place. Thank you for doing what you do. Bonus: great coffee too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found this cute place by accident walking around St Petersburg. I had a 4 hr window while waiting for my husband to finish up some work he was in town for. Everyone was so friendly and kind. After purchasing a couple books, I sat and relaxed outside in their comfy rocking chairs and the time flew by. They made sure I stayed hydrated by providing a glass and full cold carafe of water while checking in a few times to see if I needed anything else. Can't wait to go back again the next time my husband has some side work up there..... Usually once or twice a month

Staff was SO friendly, including a sommelier. Lightning was a bit too bright for an evening stop. It's a millennium wine bar, for sure. Bottle prices were affordable. Skip the charcuterie trays which are pre-made. Coffees were beautiful. Space is great. Get there early to get a seat!

Yes, the locations ambience is divine. The book collection is equally delightful. Ultimately, what keeps me coming back is Andi and the events she hosts. She is incredibly warm & genuine. She helps me and others feel comfortable every time. She truly is an incredible facilitator of the events. She makes it look easy. All of staff and the entire menu are great; but for me Andi adds the sizzle to my B+B experience 🤙🏼

I'm in love! This place has been on my list for a while now, and I finally got to go today with my bestie. It was a little busy when we got there, but that's wasn't an issue in any way. I just went on to browse wine choices with a specific one in mind. They didn't have it, but I was quickly assisted by one of the employees who gave recommendations on similar wines. The wine she recommended was so spot on it that it even tasted better than the Dornfelder I originally was looking for. They have a very good selection of books, which I was super excited about. Dominic was a pleasure to speak with and had several recommendations on books to read. I bought one and haven't been able to put it down. Overall, I highly recommend this place to book and wine lovers alike.

This is my favorite spot in St. Pete. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is very laid back. I highly recommend joining the 17 Club if you like wine. I receive incredible, unique wines every month and the quarterly members tastings are a blast!

I adore this place. One of my favorite places to pop into weekly. They have a great three wine flight that changes each week, the employees have always been super friendly, and my gosh it has some of the best unique wines in the area. I can tell How much effort has been put into seeking out the wines from around the world. A sommelier I ran into in Greece even praised some of the selection. Also a delightful little bookstore and some excellent coffee. Do visit!
