The food was great and the service was very nice The only issue I have is the price was rather pricey for soup and sandwiche

Extremely disappointed doesn’t even begin to describe the disgusting dinner I had. I went there specifically to order clam chowder with a bread bowl and saw there was a lobster roll special. Well for starters the roll was clearly Old lobster and secondly they claim to get the bread for the bread bowls daily. I’m wondering if they are cut already or if the staff doesn’t care because where they cut the opening and on the sides of the bread bowl was mold. When I called to complain the ladies first response was” are you sure, sometimes there are white spots on it” I’m sorry excuse me? Pretty sure anyone can tell the difference between mold and not mold, but clearly not these people. I was offered a $10 credit that they will supposedly hold at the store with just my first name…am I being punked? Is Ashton Kutcher about to pop out of the corner and say that famous line because why in the world would I ever get food at place that serves rotten bread? Cmon. This was disgusting and I hope corporate sees this.

Love this place, but, for the first time I got the Reuben sandwich and was disappointed because a typical Reuben is made with thousand Island dressing, NOT mustard. Changed the whole flavor... Didn't enjoy it much

Im from Kansas. Every time i visit Boston i always try to make time for the clam chowder. Its always delicious and i try to take some back to Kansas. Great service and good cookies.

It was fine. Good service on a busy day at Quincy Market. Chowder was good, not amazing or anything.

I religiously come here for lunch every Monday. The food is absolutely exquisite. The service is fast, friendly and fun, somehow they make it fun haha. Thank you Stevie, I appreciate you and all you do to provide a wonderful lunch experience.

Classic & tasty! Many options to eat in and to go. Prepared soups and pies ready for quick pick up. Very clean establishment and the staff are friendly. The person next to me got a hot buttered lobster roll and I will be back for that. Food was delicious and fresh!

One of the best places around! I love Boston Chowder Co. I usually eat in or DD once a week and try something new every-time. Everything is fresh and good. Service in-store is always friendly and quick. Door Dash orders always arrive accurate and neatly packaged. Blueberry Squash soup was fantastic over the summer- I brought a quart home!

It's a franchise bur still very good. I love their lobster bisque. This site has local favs on the menu, beyond the standard menu. Staff are friendly, bring your food, chat with customers. Feels more like a local bistro than a chain.

I ordered 3 quarts of clam chowder for my guests, which was $48. The clam chowder had chunks of flour and hardly any clams. The oyster crackers were stale. I used to love this place and it used to be excellent. Not sure how it’s turned to this. Very disappointed. Will not return.

Staff is personable, responsive, pleased to service your requests. Reasonably Priced , with a broad offering! Beef Stew and CHOWDER are my favorites!

Well what can say I have fell in love with there Seaford Plate I have had it a few times never have been disappointed nope not once and it's worth every penny. So I say please give it a try fresh and hot you can taste the freshness in the seafood the fish is really great also 100% kicking 😋

I always wanted to give a try after visiting Quincy Market but it is very busy all the time and there's barely a place to sit. Luckily I found one in North Andover. We ordered the clam chowder, a lobster roll and corn chowder. The food was really good, fresh, hot and tasty. We will definitely go back.

First time customer, had a great experience enjoyed a delicious bowl of clam chowda tasted super fresh was not overly thick, u can actually taste the clams . Amazing !!!!! Then as my main dish had the 1/4 pound lobstah roll as well tasted like it was straight from the ocean. Best lobstah roll yet. 👌

Food is delicious!! On the pricy side but the quality is well worth it.

My boyfriend and I were passing through on our way to Maine and he had a clam chowder craving. The GPS listed The Boston Chowda Co as one of the closest places, and it had good reviews so we decided to give them a try. I’m pleasantly surprised how good it was. They definitely don’t skimp on the clam, plenty in every bite! And the price was pretty reasonable too. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely come back and try some more things!

Average clam chowder and lobster roll. I do not know how they have such high of a rating. Staff were kind and helpful which is a plus, but the atmosphere was reminiscent of a chain restaurant such as Long John Silvers.

Stopping N Andover just for the chowder. I was skeptical because of the "Chowda" name, but on my son's recommendation we all got the chowder bread bowls, which were excellent and a full meal in themselves. I don't normally go for a bread bowl, too much bread, it gets a bit soggy, not my thing. But the sour dough mini loaves they had really held up, plus the chowder is legit New England clam chowder. Also the staff was super friendly. Wish I remembered the guys name cause he made our stop special.

Legit and delicious! At first, I thought this was going to be a cookie-cutter place. But not at all! The food is so thoughtfully and authentically made. I had the best fried shrimp sandwich outside of New Orleans. The batter was on point, light and perfectly seasoned. The fries were hand cut, and the tartar sauce was delicious. I tried a few soups to which were all exceptional. They even have corn chowder!! Also, a plus customer service the minute we walked in. They answered all of our questions, and also customized our order. MUST TRY 😋😋

Everything is good. Great selection of chowdas, sandwiches, and frozen items to bring home. Wish there was one in New Hampshire.

So glad we found this place. The fish and fries are so damn good. Like miles better than long John’s silvers. A Little pricey and they give more fries than fish which is my only complaint. I wish they gave you more fish and not as many fries. The cornbread is also amazing. Best ever.

The clams had no bellies at all and asked if they gave me stips instead and they said no when I showed him he said that's the clams and I asked show me the bellies which he could not very disappointed but fish was good and chower was good

Excellent seafood and convenient to the North Shore. We ordered pick up had lobster rolls (half pound), clam chowder, and fried clam strips. We ordered full belly fried clams online, but they didn't have any (we ordered prior to opening time). They offered full refund for belly order or substitute, and we chose the strips. The refund was posted by the end of the day. Super friendly staff. Great food.

Just had Boston Chowda in North Andover. .. All I can say is Wicked Freaking Awesome!!! Staff is amazing and very attentive to your needs. Food was phenomenal. Got my self a new favorite barbecue sauce. I'd put that sh!t on everything. Great portions. Great prices. Quart of clam chowda filled 5 personal sized bowls. 5 of us walked in hungry and 5 walked out stuffed. Five star isn't enough for this rating.....

Ordered the clam chowder bread bowl ($12.08) and large clam chowder ($10.69) and it was delicious. One thing I would have liked would be if the bread was warm and had a bit of a crisp.

Everything about this place is amazing. The wonderful service and even better food. Well worth every penny!

Local favorite, turns out consistent soups and sandwiches. Good stop to pickup lunch for the road, or dine on the patio. Dine-in is a little tight and could use a refresh.

The chowdas are legit here! The clams i. 5he new england were real clams. The chicken veg was good soup, had nice pieces of chicken like right off a home style bird. The Plymouth corn chowda was good, just trying to figure out the name. The chili had decent flavor, just not enough spice, I had to add some diced habaneros when I got home. The cap codder sandwich is really good the fresh cranberries really sets it apart from the dozens of store bought cranberry chicken salad. And the cookies are legit home baked, the Chocolate Chip OMFG. It was HEAVEN.

Pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. This place is definitely worth a try. Highly recommended!

I came in for a couple of cups of soup to go. The corn chowder and beef stew were both very good. I will be back for the seafood chowders.

Fantastic service, fantastic food, all for a good price. This is one of my go to spots for lunch, has been for years (come pretty much once a week to the point where the staff pretty much knows my order). Will continue to give them my business for years to come.

Stopped here on my way back from Acadia. The Maine lobster rolls and clam chowder is delicious and very fresh! The lobster rolls are sold by weight so not only was it cheaper, I also got more lobster. I was able to pick out a lot of whole clams from my clam chowder and the cream wasn’t separated from being over cooked. Perfection. I don’t know how they do it!

Came here today and ordered the Lobster Roll special with cup of clam chowda. The price was $26.49 and it was absolutely the best lobster roll I’ve ever tasted. The chowda was great too. This is my new spot. I recommend 100%.

This was my first lobster roll experience so this is probably not the most credible recommendation, but I loved it. The clam chowder was also really good.

Always good. They added fresh fried seafood and it was amazing. Haddock sandwich and a cup of haddock chowder. Filling and great tasting.

This place is amazing! On Wednesdays & Fridays they also have haddock chowder, which is to die for! Their Reuben is one the best I’ve ever had - as good as NY deli’s! I would try ANYTHING that they make! Highly recommend, without any reservations!👍🏻💜

Today was my second time dining in. The place is pretty ,Staff super friendly, the place is clean and neat. The food is soooooo delicious. We get the Lobster warm with a large New England clam chowder, and honestly it was so yummy❗️ you should try their pickles.. they are amazing.

A cup of clam "chowda" is perfect for a rainy day. The pot pies are good, but the chowder is where it's at. Buy a quart from the cooler case to take home with you.

I have never had clam chowder in my life and i am happy that I tried it here. The chowder was perfect not to thick, full of clam and I believe potato. Amazing on its own. But that lobster roll is king, I've also never had a lobster roll. The huge chunks of lobster are unreal. The bread was toasted amazingly. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend that. If I lived here this would be my go to spot. Staff is also very helpful and the restaurant was well maintained. UPDATE: I just wanted to add that I ate here twice in the same day, second time I had half lobster bisque and half clam chowder and ordered the lobster roll again. There was a different shift there and yet the service was still incredible.

First time at Boston Chowda Company ! Their clam chowder has great flavor . Would definitely recommend. Place was packed , nice place to go for lunch . Looking toward to try other soups and food . Everything look fresh. Staff was nice and welcoming.

The team in North Andover is on point every time I order and with excellent quality and taste. Always go for the chowda no matter what else ordered, but it is all fantastic food.
