The food was delicious. I had the banana pancakes with bacon. A great recommendation from the waitress Terra. My apologies if I spelled her name wrong. The service was good even though they were busy. They made it a relaxing experience. Thank you from the Robinsons.

I wanted this place to be good, it's close to home with a decent size menu. I always check Google star rating before I go somewhere and somehow this place has a good rating. On their menu it states in large text "serving breakfast all day" I was in the mood for an omelette for dinner and wanted to try a new restaurant. I ordered a vegetable omelette, side of hash browns and wheat toast. The lady on the phone was very disorganized with the takeout, over the phone and in person. When I walked into the restaurant, I was shocked. The whole interior hasn't been updated since what looks like the late 80's early 90's, and it didn't look good. I was hit with a strong musty smell, almost smelt like dirty carpet and rotting upholstery. Everything was an off white color, that just made the place dull and boring. There's no way I could eat a meal in there with that decor and smell. Didn't realize I was buying hospital food. The food was hot and fresh when I picked it up, but very bland. Lacking any flavor. The omelette was smaller than average and just overall disappointing. I will not be coming back. ★★☆☆☆

The staff was so kind and she was helpful to decide our menu😂 It was so many options what we like, so it was hard to decide. French onion soup, sandwitches, onion rings are good!

The pudding was great. Way to much salt used the food really wasn't that good. We didn't finish our meal. But the Service was outstanding 👏

We came here based on the great reviews but unfortunately didn’t experience the delicious food others have posted about. The food was bland and I’m pretty sure the kids “spaghetti” was noodles with chili on top. It was not great. The staff was very friendly however. Unfortunately we won’t visit again.

I tried this placed called "Home Town Grill, in Clinton Township, This is by far the friendliest restaurant I have ever been to! Huge menu, with very tasty food, A+++ wait staff. Your not leaving this place hungry.

Grandma and I try new places for brunch once a week. This one turned out pretty good. If u love soup it's all you can eat soup and they are all homemade!

Love stopping in for some great food whenever I visit family in the area. All the servers are kind and their French Onion soup is amazing. (I always get their rice pudding for dessert)

Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy the food here. Had the chicken marsala and the baked pasta with meatballs. Each was very bland and had a distinctive “institutional” flavor as if we were eating out of a low quality cafeteria or possibly a school/prison. We hate to leave a poor review but hope this can help balance the overwhelming positive reviews to save others from the same misfortune we had here. Perhaps the other menu items would have been better but don’t think we will be back.

Very good food! I got the potato pancakes which I was SO HAPPY to see on the menu, and they were absolutely delicious! My waitress Terra was sweet and always was on top of checking up. The music is dance worthy. Overall amazing and definitely recommend!

After hearing good reviews, we decided to give it a try. What a mistake! It started with a rude waitress followed by terrible food and more poor service. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

This was our first time getting food from here. It was amazing. Boy's got simple hot dogs. Daughter got a Bicentennial crepe that was amazing (I had to have a bite to try it.) Hubby got chicken stir fry and I got a fried chicken salad that was amazing. They also had a fresh chocolate cake that was super moist rich and amazing. We will be back to try more!!!!

I ordered the Country Fried Steak it came with choice of potato with a side and a biscuit. My boyfriend had the Veal Parmesean the portions where more then suitable for the price. Service was fantastic.

I took my sister here for her birthday breakfast and they were so sweet!!! The food was amazing and they made sure we had everything we needed and even brought her ice cream and sang happy birthday! Everyone in the restaurant made sure to wish her happy birthday and made her feel so special🥰

We have been coming for years, and the service has never changed, the ladies are always so kind and welcoming to us. We have since moved out the area, but always make sure to stop in for a bite when we are nearby!

Omg this place should be featured on Diners, Driveins & Dives. It’s so good! Huge portions, fresh ingredients, super friendly service and classic diner vibes. This is a hidden gem and definitely worth driving out of your way for.

The food smelled amazing from outside. Everyone was pleasant. Tara was our server. She was very thorough, patient and polite. I ordered the stuffed strawberry French toast with a side of their homestyle batter dipped chicken strips. Everything was delicious.

Fish and chips are very good. Only reason for 4 stars is the menu needs to be updated to the correct prices. There’s no carryout menu and they up charge for carryout orders.

First time here with a friend who lives around the block that we needed to visit (: so the location was very convenient. We walked in & was instantly greated & we sat at a clean table (all of them were clean & ready) I absolutely LOVE the esthetic in here it's soooo cute! The menu is massive so there is definitely something for everyone. I about fell over seeing they have cinnimon/raisin french toast! NO ONE has it! They have lots of options for soup which I love. The bathrooms were decently clean overall & it smells nice & everything was stocked (paper towel, toilet paper, soap) 3 of us adults got omelets & my daughter got the lemon chicken. The coffee is insanely good (she let me know they ground it here) I'm not a crazy coffee person but I could tell the difference instantly it was soooo good! My husband likes his hashbrowns extra crispy & they actually cooked them correctly! Yay! The omelets were soooo good! The bacon & ham was actually good quality I didn't run into gristle or anything! Everything was chopped up so no huge weird chunks. The portions were great as well. The half order of the cinnimon raisin was perfect size and they have pretty good syrup too (I hate thin/watery syrup) the lemon sauce was a little weird for my daughter but she still ate some of it. Desert also came with her meal but she has never tried tapioca or rice pudding so our waitress suggested she tried a little bit of both with a huge dollop of whipped cream on both! YUM! She gave both a shot and liked the flavor but not the texture LOL so awesome she let her try both. We were thanked by a man before we left he was grateful for all his patrons you can definitely tell they have regulars so I like that (: such an awesome small town/family owned atmosphere glad we came! For all of us it was $70 not including tip so it was a bit pricey BUT the quality was there and we are all FULLLL! THANK YOU!(:

This is a really nice place! When you walk in you are greeted like family! My 93 year old great aunt loves the crepes here and everyone goes out of their way to make her experience very nice.

Tara was our waitress and she was the best waitress I have ever had in my entire life, and I’m a chef so I’ve come across a lot of waitresses in my lifetime. We rarely come in here due to horrible waitresses in the past, but if Tara will be here I will continue to come in. What a fantastic asset she is to this establishment. And the food was fantastic today as well. Great job Hometown Grill!!

This place was very clean, service was incredible, food was desirable.

This restaurant is great, the chicken and waffles is a really good breakfast dish and is great, with the homestyle chicken,it was personally some of the best chicken I've had, and the waffles were great and fluffy, the coffee also has amazing flavor too, the restaurant has great service with nice workers, 10/10 I would go again.

Tara was very pleasant for our first visit here. We enjoyed our breakfast. Many different options for every meal. They even have a 9 soup all you can eat soup bar!?! As a person that loves soup, I can certainly appreciate that.

Soups were amazing. Service was even better. All waitresses waiting on us. For the all you can eat soup, it is not a selfserve, they bring it to you. Also bread basket and the old school cracker sticks with butter.
