This guy makes THE BEST gyro there is…and I’m Greek 🤟🏻

Very fresh and flavorful authentic food. The owner was kind and great to talk to.

I was so excited to find some dolmas, as they are hard to find in Pensacola. I was thinking they would be great from a restaurant that had such good reviews. When I approached I saw inside the food truck, I saw that it was filthy and in disarray. Allowing that this truck is ran with no running water to clean, I continued in haste to get my sought after wrapped grape leaves. I was contemplating trying a lamb gyro but saw a fly hanging on to the meat as it turned it would back away from the heat. Anyway, the obviously frustrated guy came in from outside, took my order, cleaned his hands with sanitizer and then proceeded to use his fingers to serve my dolmas. I asked if he were the owner, he said no, George was. I asked if he had any tongs, he said no, the ones they have are used on the grill and the other ones he threw away because they were broken. Huummmm! Sounds like it's time to pick up some more tongs, food handling gloves, a bucket, some cleaning supplies, wire supply racks, cleaning chemicals and take a weekend off to clean and organize. I am all for the entrepreneur who can make it in a business, I have had my own business for over 30 years and know the time and dedication it requires. It is a struggle, but one has to put your all into it, not have disgruntled employees mucking things up for you, get him gone now. I was so hoping to find my go-to Greek place, but found instead that it was worth the 6 bucks to find out this is not it. Needless to say, I could not eat the dolmas, and am still in search for my go to Greek food place. Sounds like you have a lot of faithful patrons, maybe they can help you get back up and running the way you need it to be prosperous? My best wishes for that Georgios!

Always a great and yummy treat. Food is fresh and comes out HOT. The Gyros are bursting with meat! The Taziki is tangy. The Salad is loaded with Feta. Simple, easy and delicious! We live in Foley and made the trip to enjoy some authentic Greek food. When we were there this time, someone from Orange Beach had drove over. It is a local and beyond local favorite! 🤩

I bought a gyro with fries on the side. It was delicious and the portions were generous. Very good food! Fries were cut fresh from a potato.

Better than most Greek festivals. Owner was very down to earth. LOADED with meat and toppings. Atmosphere - old food truck so 3 stars, but these are the types of hidden treasures to find when traveling.

Wow. What the old food truck lacks in looks it MORE than makes up for in taste. This is like the food truck version of a hole in the wall. Amazing flavor at a reasonable price, served by friendly people, what more could you want? Second best Gyro I have ever had in my life and get the fresh hand cut fries with feta and Tzatziki sauce added!

On the way home from Naval Aviation Museum and found this gem. At first glance my wife asked if I was sure I wanted to eat here. DO NOT let the appearance fool you. The food is amazing and the owner was very friendly.

Visiting from out of town and wanted to support a local business for lunch. Saw the reviews for Georgio’s and decided to swing by. When we walked up to the truck, I said hello and received no response from the one man working. Another man exited a nearby pick up truck to enter Georgio’s, with no acknowledgment to me or my partner whatsoever. When I was scanning the menu, my eyes grazed over the entrance of the food truck and I noticed just how highly dirty the interior was. If the interior is kept in that condition, I can only imagine how well the food is kept. My partner and I decided against dining with Georgio’s after that, and left to grab a bite elsewhere. Based on just the service and atmosphere alone, I would not recommend this truck.

This man is very rude. I stand in line for over 10 minutes, and he never acknowledged me. He was just talking to the person ahead of me about flying and his time in the military. Was he cooking the guy's food? I have no idea; they were just talking for over 10 minutes. Never acknowledged me once. It was like I wasn't even there. Very rude! I ended up just leaving.

SUCH delicious gyros! Authentic, and the owner is super friendly and Greek himself which makes the overall experience a 10/10! So excited to try other food next time!!

Oh my goodness. Sorry I ate it too fast to take photos. We ordered grape leaves, spanikopita, a gyro, plate, and baklava. This is the most authentic Greek food I've had in a long time. Even my three year old stuffed himself.

Don't let the worn down appearance of this man's food truck underestimate just how awesome his Gyro sandwiches are! Bring cash beforehand.

I've had gyros from a lot of places, and Georgio's are by far the best. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you're in the area.

Stopped in for lunch. The gyros are so good, quite possibly the best I've had! Had a Greek salad in the side also very delicious and made for a satisfying lunch.

The best Gyros in Pensacola hands down. This is a Pensacola Gem. I can never pass his food truck without stopping. Must try!

I can’t rave more about Georgio's food. I had a large Greek salad with gyro meat. I have enough for a second day, the dressing was spot on and their taziki sauce was delicious. Try it once! You’ll love it!!

This was awesome! I don't eat dressings at all, but my Gyro with lettuce was so tasty! They give you enough for like 2 people. Oh, and the French fries are hand cut and absolutely amazing 😍 There isn't a lot of tables to sit at but the car was just fine. Owner was very kind and professional.

Phenomenal food, great man! Ordered the gyro plate, 2 orders of the spanakopita, and an order of hummus and my mouth is in HEAVEN. I've worked at Greek inspired restaurants, and I've had many other authentic Greek restaurants, but oh my God this is the best. George is also incredibly sweet and you can tell he puts his heart into it. Thanks George!

Amazing food! Great prices! generous portions! Bring cash and a hungry belly to this authentic street vendor of Greek food extraordinaire! The photos are of one spanakopita, hummus and the loaded fries. And this was after we were so full that we couldn't eat any more!

I got the vegetarian pita and it is SO good! It is loaded with toppings and only $6. Super flavorful and packing just the right amount of spicy. I received my food quickly and the person working was friendly and efficient. The baklava is AMAZING! I'm always surprised at how expensive desserts are, but this is totally worth the $4! The layers are perfect and crispy and I can taste the combination of flavors rather than it just being overly sweet syrup between mushy crust. The seating here is limited and it's not the most visually appealing location but there are plenty of places close enough to enjoy your meal. I was craving falafel which they do not serve but I'm still happy with what I got. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for some yummy Greek food :)

Best Greek food I have ever tasted. I highly recommend this place.

Let me preface this by saying I worked at a Mediterranean restaurant for 3 years in college. I have never had better, truly authentic Greek food than from Georgio’s. Like others have said the price is good and the portions are large. Owner is extremely nice as well! We just moved here, but me and the wife hope to become regulars soon.

HUGE gyros. The guy throws a lot meat and tzatziki sauce into it. The weak point is the pita, so either eat at the tables or wait until you get home. Otherwise you WILL end up with juices in your lap while you're driving, lol!

Best greek food for the price,i thought i was on the island of SKOPELOS eating with my yaya and papoo,must try his loaded friesand his baklava ,out of this world but its takeout only and his hours verry
