We try to have lunch here once a week, we find despite the heat and humidity we enjoy sitting outside because of the server bartender Paul. Very friendly and on Point leaves us wanting for nothing.

Good drinks, great service, and the food is delicious

One of our favs. Scrumptious food, nice variety but not so many options that the menu is overwhelming. They have some seriously yummy beers, as well. Service is almost always very friendly and they are dog friendly in the outdoor seating. Alot of times the service is really slow even when they aren't busy at all. During the in season they are absolutely PACKED. You WILL wait a long time if you go after 430pm but it's worth wait so bring a book or favorite game on your phone and hunker down for the long haul because you will not be disappointed. The tacos and Philly cheese steak are my personal favs. The beef seasoning is to die for. Not your average BAR food. It's stellar. Make it happen.

Great place for a quick bite to eat close to home. The nachos, ahi tuna, Caesar wrap, margarita Pizza and wings are our favorite.

I love the atmosphere, the service is always great and the food is delicious. I wish they had ufc PPV but other than that highly recommend this place.

We have always enjoyed the tavern for it's food, atmosphere and reasonable pricing. We were shocked to recently find out that a small glass of wine now costs between $10.50 and $12.50. Not cool for a sports bar!

Stopped by here for a quick dinner with clients and the burger was very tasty. Service was incredible. They checked on us a million times to make sure we were doing okay. Good place for bar food. Will be back!

As a Gateway local I’ve stopped here from time to time for takeout. Food is always been pretty mediocre bar food but sometimes when you’re running late for work that’s the option you have. Stopped to actually eat in tonight and imagine my surprise when the food is actually better than the service. Waitress who obviously didn’t have time for us or putting order in correctly. Rest of staff is too busy chatting and on phones to care. If you’re really hungry and in a hurry you might be better off going for fast food but if you get stuck here it will be ok. Just don’t expect much above bare minimum.

Atmosphere is nice, but food is basic bar food and service is mediocre. Never had a waiter come back for refills the 3 times I have been there.

So I came to order with my Daughter and I saw the chef or Main cook graving everything with with the glove he was touching food nasty then he went and touch food with same glove again after opening doors etc the kitchen is awful looks very nasty and it was early this place should get inspected I would never go there is nasty !!! I find it a "mixed bag" at the eatery. We've eaten here a few times. Great location and vibrant atmosphere (we love that!). Good service and the staff does work hard here to please it's customers (friendly and attentive!). I find the menu choices a bit overweighted on pub food vs more health choices but its fine. However, my order for chicken wings is NEVER cooked to order (I request crispy each time and they come out soggy :-( They just won't cook it like I requested it..) I keep rooting for the 5 star experience but I always come away disappointed. sigh.....

I’d recommend installing a hostess stand or at least a sign that tells you to see the hostess. I am a frequent local and was told that I needed to move from the table we were sitting at. My wife my two daughters and I will no longer visit this porely managed establishment! Don’t bite the hand that feeds you, we are local year round and so are our friends, bad words travel much faster than good words!!! Instead I highly recommend going to @FortMyersBrewingCompany!!! They support locals and snowbirds! And great food and best beer in town! The tavern needs a total reset of management and staff. Bartender is always cranky and manager is always walking around with a piss face

After a frustrating and foodless visit to the Saucy Meatball down the road, I came here and received excellent and friendly service. Triple 3's Kat was my server, super sweet, almost as sweet as the tea she kept me furnished with. Great atmosphere. I'll be back

Prices are very shiesty based on the areas income and the owner knows that, so expect to pay 22$ dollars for a 14inch margarita pizza yes bar pizza for 22$

The food is ok but overpriced and multiple times they forget to include extras that I pay for. I'm tired of somebody being "forgetful" this is a reoccurring problem.

Good food at a decent price. This place seems like it could be at the beach. Split into 3 sections, indoor deli, outdoor bar, and an indoor restaurant/bar. We dined in the deli area and thought the food was pretty good. Food like wraps, sandwiches, salads, pizza, appetizers and much more. The girl that helped us was really nice and had some good suggestions. There are lots of seating and free parking outside. And a great place for nearby residents (we noticed).

Local area pub. Food was normal but nothing to draw me back again. The problem is, after being to lots Iout of town places, there are two things that can happen. One is people realize you not from around those parts and kinda are curious in a friendly sort of way. The other is you get stared at and frowned upon because you are invading their sanctuary. Which makes the whole experience uncomfortable. This place made me feel uncomfortable. But if those locals give enough to sustain the owner, and chasing away new people is accepted practice, good luck. Cause nothing on the menu was great. And if it's all about the beer and the atmosphere, that only works with a more receptive local crowd. Definitely won't return and Definitely won't recommend unless I move around the corner.

Went yesterday for our 3rd or 4th time and absolutely the worst visit of all of them. Usually the food is fantastic and the service is mediocre but yesterday it was all horrible. Food did not seem fresh, we both had burgers and they looked, tasted, and had consistency of frozen Bubba burgers. Definitely not hand made and if they were it was a very low grade beef, and very salty. Fries were great though. Took almost 60 minutes to get our food, and we had ordered a to go order when we placed our regular order that had been completely forgotten about (order of wings). We weren't told it was forgotten, just that it was almost ready but then It took nearly 45 minutes AFTER we had eaten to get those wings, then our bill and get out of there. Seemed like there was one server working hard and two others just kind of wandering around. If it weren't for her, we'd leave one star. Was a 2+ hour event (more than half a football game) and extremely disappointing, especially for the prices paid. We won't be back.

Disappointed is an understatement. My family and I go to this place every weekend and each time it’s been getting worse and worse. Food is always good but the service is undeniably terrible. We showed up today and sat at a table for 30 minutes while the waitress helped every table around us without us ever being able to get as much as a drink or a menu. As residents of gateway it’s disappointing to say we won’t be returning to this establishment.

AMAZING the only issue is a Drunk guy kept saying he was 8 beers in and he started 3 hours ago so he scientifically only had 5 so he was good to drive kept telling the same stories over and over about the Kareem Abdul Jabar roast, his time stuttering on the howard stern show which he definitely wasn't a writer for, and his 10 year run being a paid audience member for the tonight show... oh and anytime someone got french fries he would yell "DAMN POTATO!" anyway AWESOME PLACE

Nice place (super fancy bathrooms lol), always great service, food is good but should be fantastic for the price. A lot of places around town have way better food for same price or less.

Loved the atmosphere very cozy and warm, service was fast and attentive. We got a thin crust pizza which was some of the best thin crust I've had on sw Florida, and the nachos which were killer loads of toppings and nice and crispy. Family friendly and has a full bar with decent beer selection on tap.

Went for lunch and got the wings. Little pricey but I guess that's the norm nowadays. The wings were fantastic. Ordered two sauces, and accidentally got the wrong one. Not a big deal, they came out with the right ones and it was all good. The wings were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. A rare find.

Love this place. Everyone was attentive, as a couple different servers/bartenders checked on me even when I was not seated at the bar. Chef Salad was fresh and came out quick. Fried mushrooms were so good also. :)

It came piled on top of each other and not separated to provide an eye appealing dish. Will not revisit

I just don't understand what happened to this place. Been going there for years and in the past year something happened. Food has gone downhill and the service too. Prices are up and quality and quantity is down. Too bad because I live across the street and was there at least twice a week. But $43.00 for a Patty melt and pretzel sticks is ridiculous. And they don't answer the phone so you can't place a pick up order.

Do not recommend this place. Prices are outrageous for the quality. No scenery. $20 for buffalo chicken wrap?! Trying to tack on $2.25 to add cheese is a joke. Rude employees.
