Best garden nursery around great prices and always someone to help.

This is my first stop every spring to refresh my gardens and outdoor spaces. I have been shopping with BFG for years, and will continue to do so. Their plants are all healthy and fairly priced. I still have annuals that I purchased from them 5 years ago. Locally owned and operated which is important to me as a consumer.

A friend of mine opened a Medical Practice. I wanted to send a plant that is resilient and low maintenance . EXCELLENT customer service! They went above and beyond👍

Had the best absolute best experience. My daughter and I went to Boulevard Flower Gardens on Sunday morning. Their flower selection was huge and everything was beautiful. A man who works there asked her if she would like to feed the fish and so she did. Just became my favorite place.

Spring and summer are the best time to come! Flowers everywhere! And a great assortment of pond plants! Better than anywhere else! Beautiful poinsettias at Christmas time! And you have to visit Sunny!

I’m tell you BFG does such a superb job with their flower arrangements that I will never go to another florist or a 1-800 delivery service. This bouquet was for my wife on our 39th wedding Anniversary. They don’t skimp or rush an arrangement even for mass delivery days like Valentine’s Day. I highly recommend them…and for all your other gardening needs They have a 4.7/5 rating on google at the time of this review and this is precisely why! Thank you BFG!

I get all my garden needs from here. They have great deals every day and quality healthy plants. Their staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. They have pots,veggies, herbs, trees, shrubs, flowers, ground cover, even fish. The tropical area is gorgeous! I highly recommend this garden.

I just happened to see this nursery while leaving the Colonial Auto Group's new carwash next door to Colonial Subaru. Perfect timing because I'd already mapped some other nurseries to visit today. I can't show the indoor flowering plant I bought because it's a birthday gift for a friend, but I can say it's not an orchid or an African violet. The gentleman working in the outdoor area was friendly and very helpful. And I got 2 great deals today: their 4" square potted herbs at 10 for $10 and an additional item for $1 off their specially-marked clearance rack outside. I plan on coming back later for one of their huge milkweed plants; the bees were going nuts for it!!

Boulevard always has the best selection of annuals. It's a joy to walk in and be surrounded by such vibrant colors and so many varieties to choose from. I've been really pleased with my purchases, they've lasted all season and the lantana has even reseeded itself the next year so my annuals keep going. They also have a great selection of perinnials, too. The only thing I wish were better was their selection of native plants. They're cultivars far out number their straight species. I went and spent a good hour looking through everything to find about 5 or 6 straight species out of all the 30 or so they had. Earlier in the season I bought a mix of cultivars and straight for my pollinator garden. The cultivars rarely attract bees and butterflies (with the exception of the salvia 'Hot Lips.' When looking for the straight species, you have to look up to see if they're in this area because what they consider native may be native to NC or the VA mountains but not central (Chesterfield) and Tidewater (Hopewell and Prince George). So the signage is misleading. I would absolutely lovely to see more native-to-this-area straight species for sun, shade, and pond. Then I'd come much more often to pick up what they have.

Came in for mulch. Non dyed hardwood. They had plenty of what I needed. The beautiful flowers are on display. Just in time for Mother's day.

Went to pick up flowers for work and found this precious planter for my mother for Valentine's day. Very nice selection and reasonable prices. I will be shopping here again.

Review is directed towards the rent-a-santa held up in the greenhouse located at this establishment. I've never experienced a so called "Santa" that was anything further from a Jolly Saint Nick. The man in question seemed annoyed the moment my family began to approach him. No Ho Ho Ho, no Merry Christmas no Christmas Spirit or even an indication that he cared we were there at all. We reluctantly sit my son down next to him on the bench and took out my cell phone to take a couple pictures. Before I had even taken the first picture the so called "Santa" said "ok, you got your picture" and proceeds to turn away from my son. My wife and I looked at each other in disbelief and picked up our son and left. We ended up driving 40 mins away to another establishment that actually seemed to care about their guest and ended up getting some pictures taken there. We had been to the Boulevard Flower Gardens several times previously over the years, mainly around Halloween to pick pumpkins but if this is the type of people they associate with we won't be back next fall.

Nice flower shop, beautiful plants, flowers and decor. Took kids to see Santa. No wait, beautiful room, take your own pictures but staff helped me. Great experience!

We have been coming here the last couple years for the pumpkin patch and we really enjoy it and everyone is always so kind and friendly. This year we decided to go see Santa, there on 12/14 since they were the closest place to get pictures with Santa. My son is almost 16 months and we were so excited and he wasn’t scared at all but I have got to say this was the most uncomfortable experience I had. Whoever was dressed up as Santa was quite rude and seemed to be in a rush and not even want to be there. Obviously my son won’t remember but I will and I won’t even keep the photos I took, my son was happy and not even scared but just because this person was the least jolliest person I have met. We drove another 40 minutes just to find another Santa and get happier photos. You had a choice to dress up, if you didn’t want to, you didn’t have to.

It was a very nice shop and very well priced. We got our Christmas tree here and unfortunately it was pouring down raining, but the gentleman still waited for us to pick one and helped me load it up. We will definitely be back. 😁😁

I needed a delivery of flowers for my mother on her bday but I had called this order in the day before her bday (yikes)- they asked for a price range, wrote down my message to my mother, asked what color scheme (I said pastel) and they assured me it would be taken care of. and they SURE DID!! It’s beautiful and on time. Well worth the money and amazing customer service. Thank you!!

Good prices and just off Jeff Davis, so easy access. The fall festival was fun and no entrance fee. Compact so everything is easy access. Easily my favourite garden shop in the area.

Brought my kids here this past weekend for the pumpkin patch and loved the assortment and amount of pumpkins. Prices on pumpkins concessions and mums were great! No complaints there! I hate doing this, I don’t like to leave a negative review when I can tell that people are trying! However as an animal keeper and my kids being raised that way too we did notice some things not to our liking. Not all the animals there are the companies some are brought in for the season so not much can be done. However majority of the goats needed hoof trims badly, some were being kept on an incline surrounding a pond which is very dangerous and stressful to an animal that despises water, and one of the pigs seems underweight. I tried to call and offer my services for trims or animal keeping because the idea is wonderful wether it be educational or just enjoyment for people but felt pretty dismissed on the phone. Edit*** I greatly appreciate the response to all my concerns and feel a lot more at ease now and have raised my review. I was unaware of the breed specs for the other pig. Thank you for the information and the quickness on their hooves and please feel free to reach out if you ever need a hand with the animals it’s something I greatly enjoy. Personally my goats hate being near the water so that was my concern there. Again super appreciative of the manner of your response it shows a great deal of professionalism.

This place has all kind of flowers, trees, shrubs, and everything you need for gardening. The people there are very helpful, it's a must recommend flower and garden place in Chester. The new building doesn't have a place to eat but the service is a lot better. I think you will enjoy.

I love this place. My whole family enjoys or visits and experiences and we all love the Pumpkin Patch!! The size, shape, color, and variety of pumpkins, flowers, decorative items, bird items, and foods are amazing. We discovered local popsicles and our absolute favorite was the Basil Lemonade. It was so good!! Go every chance you get and don't forget the kettle korn popcorn that's cooked and bagged on-site. You'll love the whole experience.

I can not express how awesome these people are. I made a completely ridiculous request that I was sure they would not be able to accommodate, and I would have totally understood if they didn’t. Instead they were able to complete a delivery for me within the hour. Maybe it was because the flowers were for the prettiest girl in the world or that combined with their great customer service. We like to come and see all the plants they have. The plants look healthy and vigorous and we never leave without at least one plant. Good way to learn the names of plants and where we buy our herbs like bay leaf trees and lemon grass.

This is my happy place. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Online ordering is a breeze. Social media presence is up to date and very interactive with the public. I can ask a question on Instagram, place an order on their website and pick up in store 3 hours later. I love this place.
