My first time trying this place but undoubtedly as seen from all good reviews, the food here is delicious, they have nice vegetarian options as well, the size is good and they always meet you with a smile. The best place to try breakfast sandwiches. We enjoyed our primavera sandwich and coffee, great start to our day! Highly recommend. They have limited indoor seating but quite enough outdoor seating, so if the weather is nice, this would be the perfect spot to enjoy outdoor.

Friend of mine said this place had the best sandwiches around and he wasn’t wrong! I had the Latin Steak and it’s one of the best steak sandwiches I’ve ever had. The beef and cheese empanada was excellent… coming from someone who makes delicious empanadas. Service was great along with the vibe and Latin music. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in town and bring my friends to this spot.

Yummy food and exemplary service in a cozy and clever space! Worth the short walk from Hotel Haya in Ybor City. Breakfast is not the easiest to come by in this area, it seems....this little gem of a shop is a wonderful and welcome oasis!

Bread on the Bay is a little gem next to Los Chapos Tacos, owned by the same awesome couple. They take a lot of pride in the quality of their ingredients, and the food is absolutely delicious! The staff is welcoming, and the atmosphere is fun and bright. Check em out!

Made the drive on 12 May 2024, and unfortunately no one was there at 1200 pm. There was a line of frustrated customer waiting for their online orders. At the end it worked out we walked to another restaurant close by called flan factory hope they update their open and close info soon

Ordered lunch online for Mother’s Day … allowed payment to go through and even sent text that order is ready….. got there and the it is closed 8 other cars there also to pick up. There was no suspended online ordering. They took my Mother’s Day and ruined it. I am so upset. This is a business that should know how to suspend online ordering when they are not open.

Amazing. Made two tourists very happy. We split a Rueben and a Cubano and started with the Reuben - I’m glad we did. It was great - but the Cubano was absolutely amazing. Maybe the best sandwich of my life.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! Has my favorite sandwiches in Tampa especially the Turkey Club and the Latin Steak and amazing drinks, love the Dragon fruit lychee! Has the cutest grass area out front to sit and I always bring my dog. 10/10 recommend, really love this place!

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. Sarah was very kind, attentive, and made us feel at home as first timers! We had the cafe con leche and the avocado maple toast sandwich. Hands down the best coffee and sandwich we have had!! Top notch all the way around & can’t wait to come back.

We had the avocado caprese toast and the maple bacon avocado sandwich and both were great. Love the atmosphere of the outdoor seating as well! I would definitely return. They are dog-friendly and had a water bowl set up.

I recently visited Bread On The Bay Sandwicheria and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Cuban Reuben. It was incredibly fresh and flavorful, leaving me satisfied and wanting more. I was pleasantly surprised by the short wait time for my food, which was a bonus considering how hungry I was. The outside seating area was a great addition, and I loved that they had free games like Connect 4 available to play. Overall, Bread On The Bay Sandwicheria is a must-visit spot for delicious food, quick service, and a fun atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I have to update my review. In the past year, the quality of the sandwiches has gone downhill. The steak au jus, which used to be filled with lovely steak, is now some kind of sliced meat that is just not as tasty. The chicken sandwich has also gone down in quality. Very sad. This place is divine. The steak au jus and chicken aioli sandwiches are amazing. And they’re huge portions - but so good, you can’t stop eating. I’ve eaten from here 5 times now (dine-in and Uber eats), and every single time the quality has been outstanding and consistent. I hope this place never changes what it’s doing because it’s the best sandwich shop I’ve found in the 30 years I’ve lived in Tampa.

Great little place! We got the Latin Steak and Pan con Lechon Sandwiches. Both came with chips, and sandwiches both had lots of meat and sauce. Also got a chicken empanada which was fantastic. Outside area has fun games for kids and is partially shaded. Will definitely be returning. Shout out to Celia who took our order! :)

The avocado maple toast is phenomenal. I never thought adding sweet maple syrup to avocado would work, but it does. Cute place away from the fray of Ybor City with empanadas, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee. Lots of people come by early morning to sit in or grab and go.

Somewhere between 4 or 5 stars but I liked the Latin dip au jus and want to try some other items so I'll give it 5 stars. This place is next to Los Chapos tacos so it may be hard to find a parking spot. There are some tables inside and outside. The tall yellow barstools inside aren't comfortable. I'd get the Latin dip again. Any sandwich you can dip into au jus gets an extra star. The bacon and eggs avocado toast would be more suited for a place with a metal knife and fork instead of plastic. I'd come again if I were nearby.

First time in store. Found it to be very Welcoming. I must say Wendy was a jewel, she offered top notch customer services and was training a new girl all at the same time. The store was very clean. Recommend the House Salad. Will be back soon.

Discovered this place after googling sandwich shops in the Ybor area. We were so impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff was. Recommendation was on point. Loved it so much we went back today right before closing and we received the VIP treatment. Wendy was fantastic! Custom made a sandwich for us to share, prepared delicious coffee. This place is a gem! We will most certainly be back.

This place is so damn good - everyone in the Ybor and downtown area speak so highly of it and they have such a loyal customer base so quickly after opening. It’s still has the small mom and Pop sandwich shop vibe, but they are so great about getting your food out on time for pick up orders and in person. I definitely recommend the steak au jus sandwich and then of course the avocado maple breakfast sandwich. There’s not a lot of indoor seating but there’s a nice outdoor area with games and seating and has a covered awning and fans for the Florida heat.
