We went on the "Canopy Tour" which is 9 zip-lines, connecting sky-bridges & 3 rappels. We've never done anything like this before & being an older couple....late 60's....we were a little nervous. No Worries!!! Shawn & Dan took great care in making sure we not only were absolutely safe but had a fantastic experience. OMG....we laughed so hard, experienced the beauty of the forest & enjoyed breathtaking scenery + our pics are a hoot haha. Highly highly recommend

Okay I know it says Bretton Woods but I'm actually reviewing the Mount Washington Hotel. Unlike most grand hotels the Mount Washington was built as it is a big hotel. When did the other places nearby such as Mountain View Grand start a small and then had expansions added. A lot has been done with the Mount Washington over the years. The first added a 50 million spa edition. This is an excellent spa I highly recommend it. It's pricey but as they say it's worth it. They have a nice indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool. The outdoor pool can be used in the colder months as well too because it is very well heated. Which is kind of cool in the winter time you can walk down through the snow to the heated pool. Recently they built a new wing on the Mount Washington which are new very beautiful rooms. And very expensive. You can spend over $600 a night easily. Weekdays are much more reasonably priced closer than half that. Unfortunately I work during the week so I can't take the pleasure of zipping up there for an overnight. The main dining room is very elegant. Food is good but not over the top. Downstairs you have Stickney's pub. This is where you go if you want the good steaks. Lunch is okay but not really Grand. Much of the food supply is purchased through vendors such as Sysco, US foods etc. for the best food you actually want to eat at the Bretton arms inn. This is tucked away on your left, as you're going up the road to the Mount Washington. This is where they also have the horse stables. One of the things I've noted and it really saddens me is all the money gets thrown at the hotel itself the main hotel that is. In most everything else is kind of left in the dust. The Bretton arms most definitely needs an updating. The food there is the best of the hole resort area. It's not cheap it'll still cost you about $400 a night. The stables are in amazingly poor disrepair. It's not surprising to drive up there and see broken glass in the windows. It needs a major paint job and renovation. I recommend people take a look at that and voice their opinion of that either online or at the main hotel. It's owned by Omni international and I'm concerned how they let the side businesses slack.

We had the opportunity to spend our winter holidays in New Hampshire, with Bretton Woods as our destination. The entire state was covered in pristine white snow, creating a breathtakingly beautiful landscape wherever we looked. Our visit to the Bretton Woods Ski Resort Area included a memorable gondola ride to the mountaintop, where the snow-covered scenery stretched out in all directions, offering a stunning 360° view of the landscape below. It was a truly magical experience. (Even more satisfying by having a cup of hot coffee while enjoying the view.) We enjoyed quality time spent at Bretton Woods, without necessarily having to ski or snowboard.

One of the better ski mountains in NH, well suited for intermediate skiiers. The trails are spread out across a wide area and are usually wide but not terribly steep. It has a shorter stance than other mountains so runs are not as long but they have several good lifts and are installing a new gondola. Can be expensive but is on par with the other good mountains in the state. Busy on the weekend but very reasonable crowds on non vacation weeks.

In a virtual snowless New Hampshire winter, Bretton Woods gave me and my family an amazing skiing experience. We skied the day after a horrific wind/rain storm. The grooming team did an incredible job. The terrain is great for families with a variety of skiing abilities. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! I came with my son at the end of February. Vacation week wasn't even that crowded on the trails because it's such a wide mountain. So much to explore! The trails were very well groomed. Literally, no ice! A new favorite for our family!

We were hiking in the area and decided to take a gondola ride up to the top of the mountain. Once there, we found the Omni Switchback Bar & Grill and enjoyed lunch, beverages and an awesome view. We also found two hiking trails within the ski area that we will visit on our next visit. Great views, great food and great staff. Visit and enjoy!!!

Some of the best grooming in the north. With a wide verities of trails this is the best place to get a pass in my opinion. The difficulty of the mountain is mainly blue with a few blacks here and there and hardly any double blacks. This is the only thing I want more of for Bretton Woods, other then that amazing!

Bretton Woods has something for everyone. Wide open trails for fast and slow and many smaller tighter trails. Snow coverage-its next to Mt Washington. There’s always snow. Can be windy-we were there and they had to shut down the gondola due to winds. Lodge is good with plenty of good food even mid week. Parking is close and easy-we usually stay at the Omni and take the shuttle over but parking is easy. Kind of a long trip from metro Boston for a day trip but it’s doable. Gondola is by far the best and let’s you warm up while skiing top to bottom. Best mountain in northern NH.

Located across the valley from Mt. Washington, Bretton Woods is a fun, beautiful place to visit, even when it's not ski season. The scenic gondola ride to the top of the mountain was only $25, and there are several hiking trails as well as the beautiful views that you can access from up top. We hiked across to the summit of West Mountain and only saw about four other people the whole round-trip.

We give Bretton Woods a 10 out of 10. The gondola is awesome the conditions were great even in late March. The mountain has a good variety of terrain and lots of long trails. With both a base lodge and summit lodge, food, beverage, and bathrooms are always convenient. This mountain a gear shop, gift shop, rental shop, repair shop, club, and even a climbing wall.

The conditions were fantastic. My husband and two kids (4&7y/o) were able to do most all of the mountain in the two days we spent there! The top lodge, Rosebrook Lodge, is a beautiful new addition with great views. The pizza in the upper level was delicious though a bit pricey for the size of the pizza.

The best groomed and most reliable conditions in New Hampshire. Beautiful views and enough acreage to avoid all of the ridiculous crowds on the other mountains. Bretton Woods is a gem of a ski area that reminds you how amazing New England skiing can be.

This may be the very BEST family ski mountain in New England. The lifts are quick so there aren't long lines and there are lots of trails so people get spread out nicely. I love the way they have both challenging and easier trails from the tops of the various peaks. It means everyone in the family (all levels) can feel like they conquered the mountain. They even had some nice glades trails that younger kids and less-confident adults were able to do. The kids have been telling everyone they did "Black Diamonds" ;-) That said, the more experienced skiers in our group were able to take some of the actual expert trails and had a BLAST! Also, a Candy Store mid-mountain, So fun!!!

Bretton woods 🪵 is a great mountain for all levels of skiing ⛷️. The snow ❄️ was good , the trails were wide. It is a great cruising Mountain ⛰️ . It's not that challenging if you are looking for harder terrain to ski . Parking was easy , buying tickets 🎟 was effortless , the price for a full day was alittle expensive $129 for a full day ticket 🎟. They do offer quite a bit of different options for food a drink . Easy access to bathrooms 🚻 . I would definitely recommend this Mountain for all levels of skiing ⛷️ .... Also they have a restaurant/bar at the top of the mountain ⛰️ , great views and food .
