Conklin Players Club is a hidden gem, this course was cleverly designed to allow maximum forgiveness but still keep the course challenging. The course had multiple signature holes, included an island green and island tee. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a new course. We played 36 holes on a Saturday, the replay rate was super affordable and staff was friendly and accommodating. The course did not receive 5 stars because of some minor setbacks. The greens, tees and approaches are in dire need of aerification. They were spongy and held too much water, causing the greens to be very soft and slower than I know this course is capable of. The bunkers had very soft playable sand, the fairways were immaculately maintained and cart paths were in tremendous conditions. I would recommend this golf course to anyone looking to vacation and play golf in the Binghamton area. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. I look forward to coming to Binghamton and playing this course again. My overall experience was a 10 out of 10.

Course is in great condition and plays well but the pace of play was horrible, took 5 hours to finish. One group holding up six or seven groups and nothing was said to them.

Great conditions for golf. The lack of stars is due to the fact I've golfed there only twice this year and both times it took over 5 hours to play. Each round the pace was absolutely unacceptable to me. Slow golfers and lack of rangers to keep the pace going on multiple holes there were 3 groups of people waiting for the players ahead to go. I Actually stopped golfing with like 4 holes left it was so slow. Will not be golfing there again anytime soon.

One of the best golf courses for the money I've played all year. Lots of hills, water, bunkers and challenging holes. Greens were excellent and fairways plush for fall golf!

The course was in amazing shape. One of the best courses I've played, and has become my favorite thus far. The views are amazing, the holes are challenging yet fair. Great layout, pace wasn't rushed but wasn't slow. Absolutely enjoyed my outing there and plan on many more.

The course is all bent grass. The course was amazing and views were wonderful. Great course. We will be back.

Place was challenging and beautiful. The rain cut us three holes short. Still an outstanding day. Looking forward to returning soon.

I’ll start by saying the condition of the course is always in great shape for a public golf course. However, the conditions do not compensate for the lack of management. They only gap tee times by 7 minutes which leads to lots of hold ups and waiting. If you have nothing to do and all day to do it, this is your course. If you have to play in 4 hours, I suggest playing many of the other great courses in the southern tier of NY. This is one of many rounds I have played here and it is like this every time.

One of the best public courses in New York. Played 18 today in great shape for how dry it has been. The greens are perfect the hospitality is top notch can’t wait to play again. Thanks for a great day!

Nice course and fun, however the staff assured our group of twelve will never return. From being rushed on hole 1 while we had three tee times reserved behind us and the comment “This must be your first time ever golfing apparently” Never in our lives had we been treated in such a way at a golf course especially in front of a few teens. Which I assume why we were judged, with them not know they play for golf teams 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. Save yourself the trip.

Conklin is easily the best public course in the North East. It's not even a contest. They could up thier prices and no one would complain. Conditions are always superb. Spectacular views and a course that has its challenges. A must play course.

Got held up with a slow group ahead of us, but didn't let it take away from the course. Greens read true and had nice pace speeding up after 11am. Both greens and fairways held tight and rarely released your shot. Zero brown / dry spots and tee boxes were pristine. Bunkers were true with nice raked sand. One of the nicest courses I've played. Expect to have to hit every club in your bag.

This is one of our favorite golf courses in the Binghamton area. It is a scenic, mountain course that is in great condition. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Shot a 43 on the front nine and a 56 on the back nine for a 99. Greens were fast but true. Started off the back 9 with two balls in the 10th water hazard. It was all uphill from there literally and figuratively.

This is a peaceful and isolated golf course. Our group of 8 or 10 comes here yearly for a few days to enjoy golfing. One thing that would like to see here is faster green speed and newer range balls.

Course is in great shape. Staff are awesome. Other than my golfing skills, I literally have nothing negative - today's golfing experience was incredible. Pricey, but well worth it.

Greens were a little rough and sand in the traps was coarse. I'll play it again!

The fairways and greens were in fantastic shape. You didn't have to move your ball in the fairway because it wouldn't have improved your lie. Enjoyed the course.

Conklin has been set in the mountains giving the player not only a challenging and fair course to play but providing vistas you stop to admire

Definitely the best golf in the area. The course is kept up immaculately, the carts are brand new with gps and yardages and the staff is professional and friendly.

The only compliant I have is the people that play here that try to cut in-front of you. They didn’t understand that the group of 4 in-front of us was playing slow same with the “doctor that ran a multi billion dollar hospital” that just decided to go in front of us on the back 9, while we were waiting to tee off. You guys need a coarse marshal.

The course was in excellent shape. Lush fairways & greens. It's been a few years since I played here & the conditions have continued to improve. The staff in the pro shop were friendly & helpful. The girl in the snack bar was great. This was a totally enjoyable experience. I will be back.

The good This is a must play if in area. Should pay twice to know course. The bad Was told greens were great. Traveled 2 hours to get 3 greens aerated, the large aeration kind. I know aeration must be done but they should have told us. Greens not puttable. Than at the par 3 seventh hole there were 3 foursomes on hole with no ranger in sight. This caused a 5 hour round. If greens were all good than again this is a must play. Thats the reason for 3 stars. Otherwise 4 1/2 stars

Weekday price wasn't too bad considering how challenging and clean the course was. Great tee boxes, fairways and greens. Best hot dog in town!!!

Just ok. Course in good shape. Course informed us on 11 or 12th hole we were too slow so we putted out and went to next tee (a part 3) only to see the group ahead making their way to the next tee box. So had we been exactly 1 minute faster we would have watched them putt from our tee box. The next hole the gps tell us "thanks" like we had anything to do with it. Teed off 10:10 finished 3:10. Waited on every tee box on the front 9. Group in front played Sr teeswe played blue tees so that adds a few minutes. Had to take 2 penalty strokes on lost balls in fairway because they plugged ( over watered). That time it took to find lost balls on fairway is on the course, not the players. Greens just aerated and super quick which added 2-3 strokes per player. Suggest course chill out a little w pace of play.

I'm not a golfer, but work nearby, so we occasionally go in for lunch. Service is quick and attentive, food is good and as described. Nice option for a quick and reasonably priced bite.

I take my hat off to a to be who can be a successful, privately owned public course in this day and age. The setting is wonderful; the staff very friendly. Yeah, a couple of greens have issues; hopefully they'll be remedied when they are aerated.
