Best food around! The boba is incredible and the sandwiches are the best I’ve tried. Highly recommend coming in!

Had an excellent lunch at VL Sandwiches! Their food is very authentic, fresh and made-to-order. The service was excellent and friendly. The place is impeccably clean. I will definitely return again. These are my favorite Bahn Mi outside of Philadelphia and we are lucky to have this local gem.

I've been here four times now, and every single time, I forget to take photos for a proper review because the food is just too irresistible! The banh mi is fresh and crispy. I absolutely love the variety of mochi donuts. Highly recommend their sugarcane juice—very refreshing and perfect to drink on a hot day! The owners are super friendly and welcoming! The service is great and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

stopped by because of the menu selections were what I was searching for: Vietnamese coffee & bánh mì. the owner was very friendly and took time to explain any questions. the store is located in a small lot and you'll miss it if you don't slow down. the bánh mì and coffee were enjoyable, while coffee wasn't as strong & rich as to what I'm used to. they also have fresh pressed sugarcane juice 👍🏽

I wasn’t so sure what to get at first after the ladies started showing me the menu. I got the Korean corndog. It was a 10 out of 10. after I finished the Korean corndog, I had to get another one. It was good. Also, the Boba is fresh and very good. Overall review it was fire 😤

LOVED the combo sandwich - bread was hot and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the cool veggies inside were a great contrast to the bread and meat. They also made me a dairy-free boba tea with almond milk, it was wonderful. Hubby loved the mochi donuts! Highly recommend can’t wait to go back.

i ordered the sugar corn dog with cheese, and the ramen corn dog half cheese and have hot dog and they both were so delicious! for the price you pay which is roughly $8 a corn dog, you get a large portion. the employees are very friendly, and the gentleman who served me and my friend was especially kind. 10/10 will def be coming back!!!

I've come here a few times and it gets better with time, has the potential to be great. I love the Mochi Corn Dogs, especially Potato and Cheetos(regular or hot). Whether Cheese, Hotdog or Half and Half, they are all really good. My only complaint is that the last time I was there it was busy and my order sat around for some reason and got cold so the Cheese was not melty and the Mochi dough was undercooked. The Coconut Boba was probably the best I've ever had with tapioca brown sugar pearls. The Passion Fruit Green Tea with popping pearls was good too. Now these are the priciest drinks I've had of this variety but I would absolutely recommend the Pure Sugar Cane Juice, it is so fresh and beautiful, I would come back just for that. The Mochi donuts are good too, my fave is Ube. I would recommend going when they are not busy if possible, they are short staffed and the quality suffers. One of my drinks was given to a different table the man didn't complain and accepted the drink, at some point when his partner mentioned it to the staff they took the drink back from him mid drink to bring out his correct order. One of my Mochi Dogs were incorrect as well and we didn't notice until we tried it. When we let the staff know they took it back although already contaminated. Nothing major just a bit odd. If you made a mistake I just don't see what's that point of take backs. If going for a meal your looking at $30-40(drink, app, main, dessert) if just a snack $15- 25 depending. I will be back just not as often as I would like to.

I was searching for a place that sold mochi donuts near me and stumbled upon VL Sandwiches. I decided to check it out and they did not disappoint. Their mochi donuts are one of the best I’ve ever had; slightly crispy on the outside and when you bite into it, it’s so soft. I also tried their corndogs (I got the Hot Cheetos half-cheese and half-hot dog) and it was delicious; they use good quality hot dogs and the way the cheese stretches out is so satisfying. If you’re thinking about getting their banh mi, I recommend the grilled pork banh mi! They’re massive and can probably feed two people unless you have a huge appetite. And I can’t forget about the boba! I got their lychee milk tea boba which was sooo good. The employees were so kind and generous; I was very satisfied with their service. They have a lot of variety in their menu so I can’t wait to go back again to try their other items! 💕

Go for the donuts, stay for the Boba! We discovered this gem of a eatery while traveling through Easton. We each got a corndog....best, crunchy, flakey, corn dog I ever had! We also had to try a Mochi donut, let's just say they were so delish, we HAD to get another! If you want something a bit different, stop in for a treat. The staff was super lovely too.

Good service, and very accommodating. 1st experience having Banh Mi, and I can see why some people wouldn't like it, but I thought it was pretty delicious. The donuts are also very delicious, and a decent variety to choose from is a plus. Fruit tea was great, I think a little pricy, but I will definitely be getting it again regardless. My only regret is not getting more corn dogs because I'm fat and they were delicious.

I have been waiting to come here. I let my wife scope the scene out with my kids first and they LOVED IT. SO I HAD TO GO GET IT!! I ordered online and i got a couple different food items, the half dozen donuts, and a melon boba tea and a fresh cane sugar drink. Lemme just say i went there and i waited for a while. But the owners were SOOOO nice they informed us that their worker had called out last minute. So its quite alright. No harm no foul for me. She apoligized to everyone for their order, she was up front and honest about whats going on and i loved that for her. Gives a great sense of humanism at a business establishment. Flash forward i got my food and went home. My kids begged me to get them more donuts. So daddy delivered. I tried everything, from the hot cheeto corn dog, to the ramen corn dog, to the sandwhich they have, to the hot bun, and the rice. Man. Lemme tell you everything was so damn fresh, veggies were so fresh, the food tasted GREAT, i have absolutely zero complaints about the food. The boba tea was great and that cane sugar juice was IMMACULATE. I paid about 85 bucks for all of the food you see in the pic to try and have food for the kids. I will most def be going back. And i absolutely LOVE the owners and how up front they are, professional, and so kind. Much love i hope they prosper and thrive here. They deserve it.

normally love this place, but it took an entire hour to make two corn dogs when we were assured it would only take 30 as the oil had to heat up. a little disappointed.

This place is amazing! The staff is friendly and I love all of the food they offer. I’ve tried nearly everything and my go to is a strawberry fruit tea, spring rolls and pork and rice. They also have beautiful donuts that taste as good as they look!

VL Sandwiches is fantastic! I had a banh mi combination sandwich today and it is honestly the best sandwich I’ve ever had! The mochi donuts were delicious, as well! My children loved picking from all the bubble tea flavors. I found the restaurant to be clean and the staff to be friendly. 10/10, we will be back! Please note that this restaurant just got started and has minimal staff- you might wait a bit for your food to be ready!

I was SO EXCITED to see a mochi donut place so close to me in Easton! I used to eat these babies on my lunch breaks in Japan 🥹. I was so excited … I forgot to take a picture with the full mochi rings 😅 If you’ve never tried one before, try one NOW! They are so soft, not too sweet, and fun to eat. Service was 10/10, the woman behind the counter was so inviting, helpful, and kind. She gave me her full attention from the second I walked in. I will definitely be back for the mochi donuts!! Ps The food looked DELICIOUS! As I was getting my donuts, the chefs were preparing to go orders and I will be back for everything on the menu. Updates to come! Mochi Donut Flavors I chose: -Chocolate with coconut flakes -Matcha -Orange -Lemon -Ube (purple potato) -cinnamon/sugar UPDATE 2/20/24: I came back and ordered the combo chicken/pork with rice (because I wanted to try both)- IT WAS HUGE! Definitely worth the $$. My lunch turned into lunch and dinner 😂 The pork and chicken were moist, beautifully fragrant, had a bit of a kick, with a sweeter taste. Delicious! I also ordered the Vietnamese iced milk coffee - I live for this and will definitely order this more often 🤤

I have tried two of their sandwiches, boba, mocha donuts and even a new drink that according the owner it will be on the menu tomorrow (Monday 12) it jugar cane juice with few drops of a Vietnamese fruit that taste like lemon( I can’t recall the fruit’s name) of course it’s really good. For the Brazilians it’s known as caldo de cana or garapa… so if you miss it from back home that’s your chance to get it. Btw just sandwich I thought could be more flavorful (I’ve tried a couple of other banh mi in different states so that is my base of comparison). The other things I tried was really good, the place is super clean and cheap, also they have sales(buy certain amount of one thing and get something else). The location is just right, it’s basically across from one planet fitness. I didn’t meet the staff, but the owner is really friendly.

The woman who runs the place and usually makes my drinks is super sweet. She remembers me and my friend every time we come in. The boba is top tier, the mochi donuts are to die for, and the food is delicious. Definitely a place to stop by whenever you need a sweet treat

I love their mochi corn dogs! Better than the ones I've had in Korean town in NYC and in Houston! The mochi donuts are fun. From an Asian stand point they fit the bill on "not too sweet" perfectly. They are a bit pricey for my preference though. I'll be back to try other things. Boba was standard Boba, fits the craving. Worker was very nice and helpful and offered alternative flavors and answered questions.

Fantastic vietnamese sandwiches. This is my go to spot on Wednesday. The #1 combination banh mi, banh bao (steam bun) and goi cuon (summer rolls) are my favorite as is boba and coffee.

Nice little sandwich shop with a variety of tasty things outside of just sandwiches. Solid Bahn Mi’s and alternative choices. Never thought I’d buy a corn dog at a Vietnamese restaurant, but it was fantastic! Way better than the Jimmy John’s that used to be here.

Went here for the first time today. Very great customer service right off the bat! We got donuts, the texture was amazing. She offered to make us another flavor but we declined but i appreciated the offer. We got corndogs. Lots of options and fresh made. And if theres a good quality hotdog, theyr using it 🙌 i had ordered 2 for my son at home but i didnt relay that, so when i asked for a box for them, she offered to put them away to keep warm until we left. Again wow greatly appreciated! We also got pho and it was so good. The beef was tender and the fresh jalapenos were my favorite. I was so stuffed at this point but we still also got boba. I was nervous because of past reviews i wouldnt like the boba bubbles but they were very good. I got taro flavor and it was amazing. We also got egg rolls. You only get 2 for $7 so they are pricier. I couldnt eat any more at this point, but my boyfriend said they tasted extremely fresh as if shed just made them herself. Which i think she did. Also it was 4 of us eating and she brought out the food as it finished, which is a serving style i appreciate so you always get the freshest bite. And for only being one worker in there(it was late in the evening) she got everything done relatively quickly. I will definitely be coming back here again!

First thing I noticed in the shop is the big menu. I was stuck trying to pick which item I should order. Ended up ordering a bunch of different stuff cause the food is so good. The owner was very pleasant too. I also don't like donuts but man they're not like the garbage at dunkin donuts, these are a must try. The mochi cheese is really stole me away. Vietnamese Sandwiches were great and filling! Boba tea alone is just a great option. I'll definitely will be back. Only wish location was closer to me. Not your typical shop, highly recommend.

Delicious sandwich, we shared the grilled pork. Generous portions, roll was very fresh. Also tried coconut and honeydew Boba. Both were very good and pearls were not mushy like some places. Lastly had a hot coffee with milk and it too was great. The place was spotless. The donuts looked like works of art. Can't wait to go back and try other delicacies.

I got thai tea, combination banh mi, spring rolls, cereal and cheeto mochi donuts. Everything is made with fresh ingredients and you will know that with every bite you take. The workers were extremely nice and are hard working.

We tried three different mochi doughnuts (delicious and nice texture), summer rolls, chicken pho, mochi corn dog, grilled pork and rice... and the kids loved it. We finished up with a lychee Boba. It was so good. Worth repeating... with or without the kids. :P

I was beyond thrilled to hear about a mochinut place opening nearby since I’m used to having to drive out towards Philly if I were to crave them, but now it’s only a quick 10 min drive! They offered a variety of flavors and I love that they serve banh mi & boba! The owner was extremely sweet and helpful too. I only got to try boba & mochinut this time which both were a 10/10 but I’ll definitely be back to try everything else!

Love this place! Their boba is fantastic! I got the standard tapioca pearls with matcha tea, but they have SO many different pearls and tea flavors to choose from. I’m half Asian, lived in Asia for 5 years, and have traveled there more times than I can count.. I grew up on boba. A lot of it. So,I’m not sure what some of the reviews about the pearls are about. Their boba is legit, it’s exactly like the boba you would get on from a boba street stand in Shanghai. It’s just boba, good boba lol. Everyone was so friendly, and I loved everything I got. It’s not a cheap place, but everything I got was superior to other similar places around here. My favorite item was their combination bahn mi. It was seriously one of the best bahn mi I’ve ever had! It was actually really surprising, I expected good but it blew me away. I couldn’t stop talking about how good it was while I was eating it, hahah. I thought the ratio of bread to filling was perfect, every bite was satisfying! The meat was delicious, pâté was so good and exactly the right amount was there, perfect balance of meat to veggie filling, and their bread.. whatever rolls they’re using are YUM. It’s not a crispy baguette roll, like how we think of baguette, as one review stated.. but it’s delicious so I don’t see the problem. What matters to be is that it was good bread, very good bread. It wasn’t soggy for me, it was slightly crispy and super soft. Yum. At the end of the day it’s a sandwich and this place did well with their bread choice. Id love to know where they get their rolls from. Also the sandwich was the most reasonably priced item, at 10 dollars it is a massive sandwich; you could split it between two people if you weren’t greedy with good food like I am. Extremely filling and one of the best I’ve had! The mochi donuts are delicious, expensive but it’s a speciality item so that’s to be expected. They make them fresh daily and there’s nowhere I else I know of near here where you can get them, so I would expect them to cost more than Dunkin or grocery store donuts. Makes sense to me. The fruity pebble ones were my personal favorite, but the matcha, ube, and all other flavors I tried were great as well! I’ll definitely be back, all their other food looks so good! Can’t wait to try their Pho. All the friendly people there are so pleasant as well, owners clearly want to make their customers happy and have a quick chat :) If someone has trouble understanding what you say or ask the first time just smile, slow it down, and try again with a positive attitude. If English isn’t their first language it means their food is probably legit and they’re 100% putting more effort into the conversation than you are, what it doesn’t mean is that they’re not listening or dodging your questions. Give this place a try! Definitely my new favorite local spot.

Friendly owners made me a tofu banh mi, even though it wasn't on the menu. Others in my group had spring rolls and pho -- these were good too.

Vietnamese Takeout We only tried banh mi in our visit. Both "special" and "char siu" were decent, enough ingredients to make them an option for lunch. The roll used is a bit soft and "spongy", more in line with a sub roll. Banh mi roll is more like a baguette, it is more crispy on the outside. The sandwich could be a lot better if it has a better roll.

Best donut I’ve ever had, great place.

VL is relatively new, opening in March 2023, so I wanted to try their Bahn Mi and egg rolls. First, they are quite large French rolls they source fresh daily from an outside bakery. The ingredients were typical and overall a decent sandwich. I personally like my rolls toasted and a language barrier prevented the owner from understanding what I wanted. I took 1/2 home, toasted the roll and the improvement for me was dramatic. I will return for more, but take it all home for toasting the roll. The sandwich was $9.99, but appropriate for the size of the sandwich. The egg rolls were good, but relatively small and 2 for $6.99 seemed a little expensive. I also tried their mochi donuts. It was quite good with a pleasant chewiness. They were far more expensive than your typical donuts at 1 for $3.50. Overall, worth my return trip for a sandwich and I will also try their corn dogs. Update: I returned for another sandwich and this time two ladies were present. I asked about toasting the roll and she understood what I wanted, calling it a crispy roll. It was popped into the toaster oven and although better, it was still less crispy than desired. Next time I will ask for extra crispy.
