Grits were good with extra butter.... Their Homemade Corned beef hash patty was good... Daves breakfast looked great... Inside was kinda noisy by the cooler...next time I'd sit outside with some weather cooperation. Our happy fun Waitress has the most beautiful green eyes. Lots of free easy parking...

My wife and I went here to have some lunch . We waited about 10 minutes to get seated as the place was busy . I had a. Cuban sandwich and it was very flavorful and authentic. I lap had coffee which was also good the wife had a fried chicken sandwich and an Arnold Palmer drink and she loved both she actually said the drink was the best she had . The staff was excellent and we didn’t have to wait long for our food maybe 10 minutes tops . They serve breakfast and lunch all day. But anyway the prices are very reasonable there is parking but not really a lot of parking spaces so people park on the road out front . I left a pic of the hours and days open . If you are in the Flagler beach/ palm Coast area give these place a try you will not be disappointed

We came hungry! They were busy and understaffed. Waited too long for waters and food but thankfully the crab 🦀 cakes were one of the best we’ve ever had. Delicious tartar sauce. Kids grilled cheese was great. Friendly staff. Would go again.

Dreadful first/only experience a few weeks ago - don’t waste your time. Apparently the owner just wants to hang out with his friends and run off new patrons. He wins! We won’t be back. The food here was okay - pretty typical diner breakfast food - but didn’t live up to the hype that we’d been reading for months prior to finally visiting… but I’m usually pretty generous with my reviews even if the food is mediocre and service does the bare minimum… unfortunately the service here was absolutely dreadful. It all started when we arrived. We approached what appeared to be the host station at the porch stairs. A sort of cocky older guy who gave off “I’m the owner” vibes was hanging out chatting with customers that seemed to be friends and/or regulars. He gave us a few glances from his seat at a table about 8 feet away like “who are these two and what do they want?” After standing there for about 5 minutes or so and watching this guy glad-hand at other tables I started wondering if he even worked there since he walked right by us to weave between tables. Without any sort of branded attire or name tag we started to wonder if maybe he didn’t actually work here… surely no employee - especially an owner - would completely ignore two well dressed brunch diners looking to hand over money in exchange for the cheapest and easiest to prepare food imaginable? They weren’t very busy and everyone including the servers were pretty relaxed, with open tables - so there wasn’t an issue of being short handed or being on a wait. My wife, who had been the one so excited to try this place was starting to lose interest and suggested we go somewhere else but I was hungry and hadn’t wasted this much time and driven over here for nothing - just then we caught a server’s eye who realized we had been standing their for several minutes. She swung by and said “he’ll be with you in just a minute”. We watched “him” schmooze for another 5-10 minutes before approach us with a look on his face that said “sigh” even if he didn’t audibly make the sound. Our new friend unenthusiastically asked if we wanted inside or out or first available. We’re good with the heat so we said out. He looked around without saying another word, handed us two menus and pointed 3 tables down the porch to an empty one - which it turns out was our instruction to walk ourselves down there so he could get back to hanging out. We weren’t thrilled with the treatment and my wife repeatedly asked if I wanted to leave but I was as hungry as I was curious about the entire dynamic at play here. This guy seemed to see himself as the life of the party, but when two people with decent income, nice appearance and who dine out a lot, show up, we get treated like personas non grata? Surely we’ve missed something… let’s observe. As we waited for our server, then for our waters, then for our food, our buddy continued shooting us sort of dirty looks from across the porch. But as each subsequent group of customers approached he got up immediately from his perch and greeted them with jokes and handshakes. I’m assuming some were regulars, but that didn’t seem to be the case for all. Either way, the 180 in his behavior was equal parts fascinating and annoying. At some point toward the end of the meal I noticed an older woman hanging out near the man on the porch and she seemed a little more attentive to what was going on and looking around at tables. She even approached ours and asked if we needed anything and we politely said we were fine because at this point we just wanted to get out of there - but it seemed like she could tell by the looks on our faces we weren’t having a great experience, and it sort of felt like this was a familiar scene for her: The husband being a jerk to new customers so she has to come try to smooth things over. For what it’s worth, our server was mediocre at best - but perhaps that was simply a symptom of the overall disfunction of this place. As we ate I confirmed that other google reviews had experienced eerily similar treatment.

Was given a seat and waited for service after having to get our own menu. Waitress asked what we wanted to drink then stood filling out some paperwork and no coffee. Had to get up and leave since their service is deplorable. Again a very over highly rated establishment when, in fact it is below any standard of customer service. Of course there is no competition and they apparently play on that.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rodie’s Place, and it was an absolute delight. The quality of the food was exceptional. Rodie’s Eggs Benedict was a standout – the sauce and the dish were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The taste was so remarkable that it brought me back to my grandma's kitchen. For anyone looking for a breakfast spot that combines professional service with delicious, comforting food that reminds you of grandma's cooking, I cannot recommend Roddie’s Place enough.

Can’t say enough kind things about this tiny hidden gem. They accommodated my entire insane loud family with grace multiple times. The food was delicious. I recommend the Rosie’s Benedict for breakfast and the grilled grouper sandwich for lunch.

The special French toast wasn't all that special. Wait time felt long but it's likely we were just staving. The cubano, however, was amazing! The biscuits and gravy was satisfying as well.

Great food...better people....Randy the owner and the staff were very Welcoming to out of towners....had the breakfast bowl, added roasted peppers and onions and over easy eggs with sausage and a single biscuit and gravy and coffee....all real good.

Had a wonderful lunch at Rodies Place! I ordered the grouper sandwich, which was cooked perfectly & so fresh!! Enjoyed the Rodies potato chips as well. Can't wait to try some other dishes in the future!

The most perfect little spot for all day breakfast, they serve breakfast until 2pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends. They also have a great lunch menu and the prices are really good. I Love supporting local businesses and this one is an awesome spot if you’re in the area.

Yikes! Very uncomfortable dining experience with rude comments from the owner. Food was alright, but took over an hour to arrive after ordering. If you’re a P.O.C or part of L.G.B.T.Q+, don’t come here. Wish we left when we weren’t acknowledged when we arrived. Space is cramped and we had to share a table with another group.

Great service! My husband had the smoked chicken salad sandwich and I had a cheese burger with grilled onions. Both were fresh and delicious.

We were visiting Palm Coast fir a seminar and found this place. I was blown away immediately by the friendly smile of Diane! We were welcomed in like we were family, and everyone was wonderful ❤️ From Lisa our waitress to Randy the entertainer owner 😊😆 Food was freshly made and delicious! Thanks for the great time we had there guys!

I've never seen a place so overrated. I arrived last Friday with my two kids to have breakfast after seeing the raving r.e.v.i.e.w.s in here. The owner did not make an effort to hide his contemp towards l.a.t.i.n. people. After being ignored for a while at the front, I decided to walk in to ask if we can be seated and right then he decided to stood up by the front door to impede my entrance. He asked in a contemptuous tone if I had called first, I was upset at this point but decided to stay bc we all were starving and had driven for 20 min. to get there plus I had checked and no reservations were required and hey, maybe the food was good. Then he asked me if I wanted outside or inside seating. One of the waitresses (the granny) displayed the same attitude, thankfully the one serving us (Sherry) was very kind and considered (the only + in that place). Then the food came: overpriced mediocre lame eggs and potatoes. Coffee was ok. Overall an overrated and overpriced horrible experience, I shared this with my husband and his family (irish/german people) and they will make sure everyone we know b.l.a.c.k. list this place. Worthless!

Great great great homemade food.

People seem to either love this place or hate it. Our experience leans toward the latter. We’ve been here once and found the experience and service so unpleasant, that we won’t be back. We waited over an hour after we ordered for our breakfast to come out. The waitress took our order and we never really saw her again until the food eventually arrived. In that time, never had my coffee refreshed. When we expressed how shocked we were at the delay, we got this: a shrug and a “We are short staffed in the kitchen” and she walked off. The bill arrived very quickly and with no problem,however, and we were never asked again if we needed anything or how everything was. I had the quite expensive crab cake Benedict which was ok but nothing spectacular and not worth the price and the service. I have heard from others that if you are a regular you get different and better service. Well, that won’t be an issue for us because we can’t see a reason to ever be back. There are so many better options where the food is great, comes out quickly and the staff cares.

Staying in the area on vacation from Michigan and we wanted to try out a local restaurant that we can't get back home. We were immediately greeted with smiles and seated quickly, even though we had a party of eight plus a baby. The food was amazing, service was amazing, very pleased with our decision to come here!

This place was a nice brunch place. I got the steak and cheese which was very good. The beef was soft and not chewy. The fries were fresh and crispy. The even serve pepsi which is a huge plus for me. The only reason for the three star is how slow the service was.

Be prepared to wait about 30 or more mins. Parking is bad here. The one chef is working as fast as he can. The food was pretty good but the wait and the lack of attention you get after you're seated makes it a 3 star. Eggs and hash is all I got with a side of gravy.

Took my boys and 2 tiny pups. We had a warm welcome and were seated on the side of the restaurant on an umbrella patio area. The birds were lovely and the wind was breezy. The dogs settled down. The service was great and food was delicious both big people food and kids menu! Relaxing lunch atmosphere.

Really enjoyed the greeting, and good sense of humor, of the owner of the establishment, when I first arrived, The brunch was excellent ( 3 egg omelet). We certainly will return, and recommend it to my friends.

What an amazing restaurant. Breakfast was very good!! The people there are kind, friendly and personable. The atmosphere is peaceful, inviting and fun. I've never been before and I love this place!!

They truly made my day! Ideal location, right near Washington oaks garden State Park, and the beachfront areas. The host/owner was a very friendly guy, and made a wonderful food recommendation. The hot dog is unlike anything I've ever had before, and comes creatively prepared with key lime barbecue sauce, onions, cheese, pickles, slaw and probably a few other things I couldn't even recognize. We had patio seating after on a beautiful day. The staff was friendly, and the Cuban sandwich my wife had was the best ever. We'll certainly be back

I am glad we stumbled on this place. The shrimp on the grits was huge and well seasoned. And the fries were handcut and fried perfectly. Everything about this place was good. We will be sure to come back.

It’s a cute, little side of the road restaurant with great food, service and friendly staff. It has both inside and outside seating. It sort of a beach vibe with Jimmy Buffett tunes playing in the background. My wife had a grouper sandwich and I had a Dagwood sandwich…both were great.

Great customer service and food

I came back to the regular restaraunt and it was extraordinary. Great atmosphere, great food. Just a forewarning: If you go on a Saturday night, it's a "pop-up restaraunt" with a different menu. Food was pricey, but truly fantastic.

Went here today for breakfast and I will say that it’s a nice environment. While the food was over priced and did not taste that well for the $$ that they charge. Our server was pleasant and the owner was present and ensured that the customer service experience went well. Overall, it’s a nice stop to enjoy a meal.

We were first-timers, needing to grab breakfast before our 11:30 am ferry to Fort Matanzas. Despite being busy, Rodie's was super accommodating and we were early for the ferry. Excellent experience and will return when in the area again! Thanks, Rodie's, for making us feel so welcomed!!

Probably one of the better eateries on the A1A between Palm Coast and Ormond Beach is this one. It's not close to the busier beaches, but the food is amazing.

Google says they close at 8pm arrived with friends 420pm and they were closed

Taking A1A on our way north to Jacksonville, we saw this restaurant tucked away and had to try it. Food was all freshly prepared and delicious. You get plenty and we cleaned our plate. Service was great with the folks talkative and helpful. Not many seats with about half inside, half outside. Some of the tables n chairs are in need of an upgrade. Parking can be a challenge, and I'd suggest just parking along the street. Lot has more obstacles than I prefer, but fine if you have a small car.

Came for breakfast, service was great, as was the food. We had a pancake, egg whites, French toast, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. It was nice to be able to get the 'side' version of everything so we could try lots without over ordering. Got everything we needed. Friendly staff. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

Recently moved to Flagler Beach from Key West and finding this little gem was just heart warming as well as delicious. The atmosphere and the food reminded me of home., but what put this little gem over the top was the welcoming feeling of the staff the moment you arrive. I was even greeted by the owner. 💛🩷💛

Great little diner on A1A! Attentive, friendly service with a fun vibe. They played great music to! My wife and both got the 2 egg special. Simple yet delicious. Try this place out if you’re in the palm coast area!

This is probably one of the better restaurants along the A1A drive between Ormond Beach and Palm Coast. It is away from the main beach areas, but the food is incredible. My filet mignon was probably the best steak I have had in Palm Coast. The stuffed flounder was incredible, the crab meat has a great texture and seasoning.

Good luck on parking BECAUSE IT'S THAT POPULAR. Don't take 2 cars... pack the whole family in 1 car! The staff, owner, food and facility are amazing and made us feel like family. Best French toast I've had in a very very long time. Trust me, THIS IS THE SPOT FOR BREAKFAST. If you're in the St Augustine area take a quick trip south for this awesome gem!
