I did not have any food from this establishment I'm not too sure if they have food but their service was amazing and their atmosphere was great this is definitely a place if you want to go sit and chill inside or outside. They do not serve liquor and I am an out-of-towner I was there for one night on a Saturday and they closed at midnight. They had a live band but mainly played tunes from the 80s and 90s it wasn't half bad. I would definitely come and spend another evening at Bud's

Nice place, not sure who works there, if anybody, the last 2weeke ds I went on a Fri and Saturday. I'm guessing this is a night spot because it was empty during the day.

All around one of my all time favorites!! The food is top notch and there's always something fun going on. Pool tables and Great live music

Happened upon Bud's several years back during the lockdown. I'd heard stories of it being an unsavory place in the past, but I went with my uncle to check it out. Had some wings, a couple of beers, and played some pool. Now, in 2024, I've been going every week since then. Buck, the owner, is a great guy; he cares for his customers, and since I've been going the atmosphere has been amazing. Always good music playing, two pool tables(with several nights of tournaments, including a ladies and an apa league on Wednesday nights), and four dart boards in the back. I no longer drink, but the atmosphere and the pool keep me going. I've made friendships I'll cherish forever, and all because I agreed to get some wings with my uncle during a rough time. A side note: for those concerned about the alcohol selection, he does not serve liquor, but if you request a type of beer that he doesn't have, Buck might just have it the next time you walk in.

You just need to go! Check FB for that week's daily specials and go! Always a fun time!!

Friendly, hometown place. The parking lot is stone/gravel, just so you're prepared with a puck if you use one.

Beer only dive. Fire pit, live music, what else do you need? Food is offered on occasion at super value prices. Fairly unique spot

This Rustic venue is off the beaten path in Youngsville, NC located just outside of Wake Forest. If you’re looking for a break from chain restaurants and bars in the city this is just the answer. With a truly friendly atmosphere the staff and patrons are welcoming. The night I was there, the annual Christmas tree burning was in full swing. A great way to get rid of all those Xmas trees and who really needs a reason to have a big old fashioned bonfire! Plenty of Oooo’s and Ahhh’s going on and people just enjoying each other’s company.

Remote and campy feel, but no beer on draft.

Flhad breakfast eggs, bacon, sausage pattie, biscuit, grits, pancake. All was bland. No coffee available.

Bud's Tavern is the best secret in my hometown

It's a great place it reminded me of the old Shuckers off of US1 just before Wake Forest turn off. Nice people,lay backed and friendly. I hate I didn't get to meet Bud because he for all military.

Was here last night for the first time, I came from Camden SC to visit family. This was definitely a great place to relax and have a great tasting burger while a live band played.. people were incredibly friendly and overall atmosphere was really awesome. I recommend this place for sure. Oh.. and I'll definitely go again when I'm visiting again.

Enjoyed sitting outside listening to the band. Bud's always has something going on. Indoor bands in the winter, 2 outdoor performance locations in the warmer months. Wing cook off last weekend with vendors. Great family fun.

I have had the steak and Comidy show in the past, and it was awesome! Had the hamburger /FF Saturday, and I recommend it too!

What a blast! This is a local bar in the woods that has live music. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.

Incredible beer selection for a place not located in a city, hamburgers are fantastic, and the French fries are the best you can get. They are the old style with the skins still on them... ummm, my favorite!!

I see why Buds burgers were voted the best in Wake Forest 3 years running. Between the great food, friendly service and wide open atmosphere, it's easy to see why this local join is a long time family favorite.

I recommend Bud's Tavern to everyone and encourage them to try the Best of the Best Burger and other foods provides at the bar. I visited Bud's Tavern last week during the BBQ Ribs Cook-off where Buck used GrampsBBQ Sauce and supported the Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry. My friends and I enjoyed being part of the event as well as donating to the food pantry. I get a great gratitude from supporting local foundations, businesses, vendors, farmers markets, etc that keeps our small tight community together and thriving.

This is a I LOVE thus Bar kind of place. It's in the woods, people are friendly, staff is amazing and the drinks are cold. Not a huge selection of beer but it's enough if that makes sense and the food is phenomenal and they run specials. $1 wings Monday, 1.25 taco Tuesday, 1/2 price Burger Wed etc plus they have darts, pool tables and a huge outdoor hang out area with a fire pit and of course bands. Check out their Facebook for what's going on and get a crispy bacon BLT its the best.

Great burgers and good place to see live music outside

Fun place to watch live hard rock bands. Finally, a place that loves to rock! They have a pool table, darts, and a great outside deck for days without a band. They do serve food, but it isn't anything worth mentioning.

Awesome little (sort of) hidden away tavern just over the line from Wake County in Franklin County. Great people, great prices, really good burgers and dogs at reasonable prices!! Definitely coming back!! And a live band this Sunday!

Wing special is awesome. A fun place to hear live music. The handicap ramp is long, but doable. Will visit again.

Absolutely a lot of fun. We went while there was live music and man do the people pack in there. And outside they were doing their annual Christmas tree burn. Basically a bonfire where people bring the done Christmas trees and toss them on the fire. Awesome. I ended up getting the Best Burger with Seasoned Fries. Really good. And very reasonably priced. It really was a lot of fun.

Loved it, had a great time. Live music and good people.

Great people, awesome atmosphere and delicious food

My friend and I were just out to dinner and driving around to see the beautiful Christmas lights in a near by neighborhood and she asks, "Wanna go to Bud's?" Then we pull up to this off the road joint on the trees. I was amazed. I was rustic yet classy. The outdoor patio was very nice and had ample heaters. The inside was just as stunning. Wasn't expecting this when she said " wanna go to Bud's". I will be back.

The beer is always cold and one of the best burgers I've ever had. Staff treats you like family. I love the atmosphere and the DJ that comes by. Definitely a great local bar.
