The barbeque sandwich was good, the coleslaw was fresh and crunchy but I have to say the best thing I ate was the garlic potatoes ..I could of ate a bowl of them they were that good, the Mac & cheese was cheesy... the ribs had a great flavor but we're tough..tried pecan pie and loved it.. prices were comparable.. I'd go back again for sure.

Great spot for the best BBQ in Florida. Although you may have to wait in line to get food, you won’t be mad…it’s very worth it.

Holy smokes!!! Have a family party today - and the big hit was two full racks of Ribs. The family acted like they were starved. Devoured the full two racks in a few minutes. … and if the food wasn’t enough to rave about - the customer service was out of sight. And awesome pricing to boot. If you haven’t tried their BBQ you don’t know what you’re missing.

In a day of prices skyrocketing, the keep there prices very fair. We love there chicken! Keep up you good work!!!

Absolutely awesome food, Everything was fresh and hot. The chicken was so moist inside, comes with 2 sides and delicious homemade BBQ sauce. It is a family owned business and they couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend

It's a cute mom and pop BBQ. Family owned. Food is really good and fresh. Great selection. They dont take call ahead on Sat so you might have to wait but it's worth it. We come up from over an hour to eat here. They were closed today for the 4th, usually it's posted on their website. I checked and it wasn't. We were disappointed because we wanted some of the yummy goodness. But I like that they take time for family time.❤️

I haven't been to C&K in a while, the food is usually really good. This past weekend I was close by so I went and ordered the Kings family 4 (for takeout) we got pulled pork, chicken and ribs, with mac & cheese, garlic potatoes and and extra baked beans side. The Mac & cheese, garlic potatoes and beans were on point, but for some reason the ribs were really salty, salty to the point where I couldn't eat it.

Always great food never disappoints. C&K is my go to bbq spot wouldn’t go anywhere else especially for the price. 10/10

We were in the area and needed some lunch. Got the pulled pork sandwich, chicken sandwich, and pulled pork plate. Generous portions and good collard greens, Mac n cheeses, and fried okra. Super clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. Seemed to be doing a great amount of take out as well. Long line that moved quickly the whole time we were there.

I dined in and found the dining area to be very clean. Barbecue is truly smoked. Smokehouse is located in a separate building directly behind the dining area. Sides of baked macaroni and cheese, potatoes, and beans were very good. Employees were extremely friendly and efficient getting the lunch crowd served. Personally, the only negative I found was the South Carolina mustard base sauce. Never have been a fan of that type of sauce. The smoked meat and ribs were great without the sauce.

Great place. ALWAYS PACKED!!! I come here twice a week to support my local mom n pop restaurant. There's time's in your life when you find that one honey hole BBQ restaurant that serves it fresh off the smoker and this is the place. This ain't no boiled than heated up cooked on a Fisher Price toy oven style of smoked meats. This the real deal. So grab your grandma after the Price is Right is over at noon and head on down.

Absolutely great little BBQ joint. Super friendly people. You can dine in or get to go. Food is always fresh and gets a little busy sometimes. Be sure to go at least an hour or 2 before closing.

I love this place!! BUT I'm very over the random closings, I drive there when according to hours on here and their website they're open but they're closed. Like now, 230pm on a Friday 🤷 Now I have no lunch for work and no time to work it out.. very frustrating

I cant say I've ever had BBQ so good I didn't want to put some sort of sauce on it until now. The meat has the perfect amount of smoke flavor its not over powering and it is still juicy and tender. The sides are on the same level. You can't go wrong with Red skin potatoes in garlic and butter but the Mac and Cheese is magic its stringy when serving it and melts when you eat it. Overall you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop in and grab a bite you can tell they take pride in their food. Update: Tried their fried chicken for the first time tonight and it is in par with everything else we've had, it's amazing.

Excellent ribs and pulled pork. They were busy at 2:00 on a Saturday and took 15 minutes to get to the counter. But the food was in my mouth in 2 minutes. Rib meat fell off the bone with excellent flavor and very meaty ribs. Pulled pork was very clean and flavorful. Hot sauce wasn't hot in my opinion, not even mild, but good flavor. Food was good enough to come back.

Hankering for some great barbecue, do you want some home cooked with loved sides? This is the place to be. Best barbecue this side of the Mississippi and probably beyond.

I absolutely love this place but they’re always closing. They close early like 7 o’clock. People start eating dinner at six or seven when kids have sports today they were open on Google and I drove so far but they were closed for death. I terribly feel sorry for them, but they should update their Google review I mean some people get off at 6 o’clock and all the food closed at 7 o’clock. They’re open Wednesday through Saturday like four damn days a week like why even even on a building they should just have a food truck sporadically like most places that have buildings stationary are open seven days a week.

I'm not changing my review even thought i should, but I drove all the way from cape coral to get c&k, and you guys did not update any information about being closed. Extremely disappointed by this. The food is always amazing there has not been a time that the food has disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly, and the place is always super clean. I drive 45 minutes just to eat here and it is worth it.

Trash bbq. Americans will eat anything. Everything they serve is old sitting under a heating lamp. Ribs sucked, took 2 hours to get our order, slowest workers ever. Stay far away from this GARBAGE establishment

As you approach the building you can see the smoke up top and you're welcomed by the wonderful smell of Southern food. The line was long but moved fairly quickly. Behind the neatly organized counter is an impressive operation in business since 2003. Everything is well seasoned and the sides are all fresh, with the containers being frequently reloaded. I bought the Queen's Family Meal and the Fried Chicken Meal (available Fri. & Sat.) and it was all way too much food but I kind of wanted to try it all. I cannot point out an item that I didn't enjoy. The baked beans are pretty standard and I found the fried okra a bit too salty, but other than that, everything was great. The ribs and the pulled pork are spectacular. The garlic potatoes are a must. Mac & cheese was just loaded with cheese, delicious. Solid collard greens, nice and juicy. I loved that they were very generous with the sides of BBQ sauce, and after having the regular and sweet/spicy ones I now want to taste them all. Glad I finally got dinner from here!

Very disappointed. Driving over an hour away and they never have ribs even if I show up on time when they open because they put all them aside for catering events. Like why not say that or don't open for the day!!

I travel around east of Tampa Bay a lot for work, and in terms of food quality and price, C&K can't be beat, easily the best restaurant option for miles in any direction

Take out order of a full rack pork ribs and the pulled pork sliders. The ribs were full of Smokey flavor and fell off the bone. Their bark was dark and held a dry rub that rivals ribs from notable bbq areas such as KC, Memphis, and St Louis. The serving size contained over a dozen ribs!!!! The pork sliders were loaded with three soft buns, loaded with tender pulled pork. BBQ sauces we selected from the 4 available were sweet & spicy and hot. Both added to the already hearty flavors of the meats. Take out only on Saturdays, no call-in service.

The pulled pork is amazing. The staff is friendly. The eating area is clean. The only hard part is getting a parking spot, as it’s very popular over the lunch hour. Looking forward to the brisket, but that’s only available Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Food is great but the person who served us wasn't very pleasant. Food service is a "Hospitality" business. I suggest being more friendly to customers so they want to return for more than the food. Just my opinion.

Great BBQ restaurant! The ribs and the pulled pork were both very tasty! They were flavorful and not very fatty. The baked beans were also very good. The regular barbecue sauce and the sweet and spicy BBQ sauce were both very good. The prices are very reasonable -- great deal! The Kids Meal is only $3.99, with a meat, a side, and a drink.

My fiancé said she doesn't like bbq.... guess who ate most of the food I got lol ribs are awesome, sweet and spicy sauce is awesome, Red velvet cake again awesome!

I purchased bbq from this establishment this past Saturday. This wasn't my first visit. My comments aren't meant to be mean or disrespectful, I'm just giving my opinion based on what I experienced. I ordered ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and a few sides on both of my visits. Both times I had the same results, which led to to believe this is the norm. The ribs were burnt and salty, not to mention they appeared to be the last scraps before they brought up a fresh pan. They should have trash those portions. My chicken was undercooked with pink in it. I use to have a bbq business so I know the difference between raw pink and Smoked pink. The pulled pork tasted like salty watery meat with zero signs of it being smoked or bbqed. The Mac and cheese was made with 2 different pastas, elbow and large penne noodles that tasted like they were boiled in the same liquid as the canned green beans, which were both salty. I'll not mention the other sides, I think you get the idea. It will be a while before I go back, in hopes that they will recognize these issues and correct them. If they are true to the game and really care about the food they're selling to people, they will fix things. I really believe they know these problems exist, but as long as people are buying it, it doesn't matter. There no way I could get a bad review and not fix it. In the business world, your name is everything.

Went to get food today only for them to state their closed at 3PM vs the 7PM listed. Really inconvenient when driving 30 to 40 minutes. Then to be told oh we are privately owned so we can change our hours as we please was and is just unprofessional. Trust me I'm a delivery driver and there are many places I don't like delivering too but I do. I could just make up something not too but hey I stay professional.

Loved the food, had a pulled pork platter. Very large portions. Great place for take out...not a lot of space for eating in but we'll worth taking it home.

Best BBQ in town. The prices are ridiculously low. Southern sides to die for. Fried okra, collard greens, mac and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad. The ribs are tender and smoky. They offer assorted BBQ sauces. Family run by friendly people. My favorite BBQ ever.

I’m sorry, but I would leave no stars if I could. Went in on a Saturday for takeout and everyone from the staff to the customers sitting on the porch eating were rude and miserable. I came in with a grateful, happy mood and after leaving felt irritated any annoyed. Perhaps they were having a bad day, but after this experience I won’t go back. It ruined my Saturday. When I got home I thought at least I would have some good barbecue. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I got a quarter chicken and asked for white meat and it was all dark and soggy as if it had been soaking in a tub of water all day when it was only about noon. The mac and cheese was oily and separating. In my opinion Easy Mac tastes better. The coleslaw was ok. I’ll just take my business elsewhere next time. I don’t recommend this place and this says a lot coming from someone who has never sent food back in the past.

Ever find yourself in the small town of Parrish Florida. This is a must stop BBQ shack! C&K knocked it out of the park. With stellar service and make your ribs hurt good food.

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Garlic potatoes are amazing, their homemade sweet and spicy sauce also is. Also the fried corn. I havent had anything on the menu that wasnt great.

Food is almost as bad as the staff. Went in on a Saturday to take a ride. They have a no pet policy on the outdoor patio. Which I have never seen before. I completely understand inside, but outside is something new. When we walked up, before even steeping onto the porch a girl came out seemingly to yell about the dog. Okay it's their policy I respect that. Put the dog back in the car and went in to order. Food is cheap which I assume is why people go. I got my food and just wanted to give feedback on their pet policy. They were extremely hostile. Saying they can make whatever policy they want. Which I agree with but I was just giving my feedback. All for nothing too. Most dry pulled pork I've ever had. I would avoid this place.

I moved from Indiana to Florida. This was the first place I ate at since my move. If I could put 10 stars I would. Perfected country cookin at its finest!!!!! Never in your life should you pass this cookin up!!!!!!!

I had my mother's eightieth birthday catered by C and K. It was a tremendous hit with everyone! The grilled chicken and ribs, garlic potatoes, greens, rolls and bbq sauce was perfect! The food was ready when they said it would be, and they happily helped me get the food to my car!

C & K BBQ is the best BBQ period. Their ribs and pulled pork are amazing and their sides are delicious. I was recently in Dallas and tried two of the supposed top BBQ places there and C & K wins hands down. The only thing I can complain about is the I can't get it Sunday-Wednesday. : )

I'd give a million stars if I could. They make the best food. Cooked extremely well. My favorite is the ribs. But all of the food is awesome. My whole family eats their food all the time. You want awesome southern cooking...go here.

Hidden jewel that I've driven by countless times. Really good food. However, they run out of food pretty quickly. The line gets pretty long. Order early, you won't be disappointed.

The facility was clean and the service was excellent. Unfortunately I chose to have a veggie plate. I asked the server if the collard greens were canned, her reply was "no they're chopped". I then asked if they were fresh greens and she said yes. Hmmm, since I can cook and know my greens, these were not fresh.and tasted and looked pretty ke.canned greens. That was the first issue. When I got home I realized the macaroni was not what I expected. I likened it to cheese whiz. My mom did however enjoy her ribs. I just wouldn't get a veggie plate from there.

Please for the love of god, hire someone else to serve the food. You guys are too busy to only have 2 people there. Also why is it 81 degrees inside. Thats wild. Idk how its been so inefficient for so long. One person to be in charge of catering and other call in orders could make all the difference. They can even pick up the slack when its busy like around 6pm. If it werent for the food being local and good id never wait in a line like that with no air conditioning(81 degrees) for as long as the line can get.

I can't tell you about the food because our family of 6 was not allowed to sit at a table inside. Mind you no one else was waiting for a table. They didn't have extra chairs and we would be keeping 2 more people from being able to sit was the issue the person had with our party. I'm not sure why we weren't able to enjoy our meal inside as a family at a table with chairs for everyone but local or not you will never see a dime of my money. I will not have 2 people stand while the other 4 sit. Not family friendly.

Meh, not what I was expecting from all the great reviews. Maybe I'm spoiled coming from KC style BBQ. Brisket was smoky but sliced, I prefer pulled. The pulled pork has zero flavor or smokiness and seems to be made in the oven. Meats and mac & cheese were watery and oiling as well as you can tell from the picture. I like to support small businesses but I will not return unfortunately.

Awful customer service. Whoever answers the phone had me sitting on hold for 10 minutes (at 230 not during lunch rush) and was immediately rude and impatient with me after making me wait. I canceled my order because of this person being flat out rude to me.
