Escape to the far east for great food! Seriously best place in the Valley for a healthy meal no matter what kind of diet you require!

I took my kids and all of our dishes were fantastic.

Absolutely amazing and delicious food in a nice tranquil atmosphere.

Food was delicious and the service was very friendly. I enjoyed the chicken fried rice and the addition of mint was interesting but welcoming. It wasn't too powerful so it blended well with the other flavors.

It is great to see new tastes in Wasilla. These flavors of sweet, spicy, and savory are welcomed. Looking forward to another visit to this Cafe.

If there was an option to leave a no star review I would have, food was overpriced, overcooked and left us feeling sick and lack of management made it difficult to let them know that the food was not what should be served for $15 and up definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND

It was my first time trying Lao food, which is pretty similar to Thai food. I ordered: 1. Jeow Bong Chicken Wings 2. Stir Fried Noodles 3. Deep fried tofu with homemade sauce OMG! Delicious!!! I love, love the noodles and tofu. The chicken wings are delicious too but a little too spicy for me. Very flavorful dishes! Highly recommend and I'll definitely be back to order more noodles and tofu, and to try other dishes as well. Thank you!!! 🙏❤️

Holy smokes this place is amazing.

The food was great. Loved my tofu appetizer and chicken rice noodle coconut soup. The ingredients were really fresh, and the presentation was excellent.

Hmm..I'm kinda dumbstruck by the amazing reviews. I'm Southeast Asian and grew up eating homemade food that can be found in this restaurant. The food here was not as flavorful. The rice super dry. I ordered the chicken wing appetizers and it lacked flavor. My daughter ordered Pho Lao and she loved it. So maybe it depends on what you're getting.

Absolutely AMAZING food! Cafe Khao Neow is a hidden gem in the valley. Everything was fresh and the flavors were wonderful. During our first visit we had the the Chicken Skewers, Beef Laab, Sausage and the Spring Rolls, super tasty! This place has become a family favorite ❤️

This place is one of the best restaurants in the Valley! The atmosphere is cute and clean, the service was amazing, and the food was so so good! We had never eaten there before and asked a lot of questions and wanted some recommendations. Our waiter was very patient and knew everything on the menu. We ended up getting jasmine tea, the Lao style hot papaya salad, and 2 of the chicken stews which had eggplant and lemongrass and a ton of other herbs and sticky rice. Everything was incredible! This is one of my new favorite lunch spots!

Food is delicious, fresh, and comes out quick. The waitress isn’t the friendliest but it is what it is. We haven’t found any food items that we didn’t like. One of the best restaurants in the Valley.

I'm a big fan of Laos food. The food here was super delicious. The Larb was 100% authentic taste can confirm. The price is a little high, but it is understandable with the location. If you are in the area and looking for good Asian food, you should definitely check out this place.

Nice little mom and pop Laotian restaurant. The waitress wasn't the friendliest person, but not rude. The food is Laotian, not Chinese, not Cantonese or Japanese. Just Laotian, so don't expect anything else. That said, it was good Laotian food, and if that's what you are looking for, this is the place to go.

The food here is so delicious and authentic! Not another version of thai food but something unique. We tried the chicken noodle soup and chicken stew, very flavorful and refreshing!

Cute place, stopped in for a couple appetizers, and iced thai coffee. It was enjoyable, I’ll go back and actually try a dish next time.

Can’t say I’ve ever raved about egg rolls; but holy smokes, those were good egg rolls. Definitely set the tone for the entrées, which were equally amazing. Best curry noodle soup I’ve had in recent memory. Highly recommend.

Excellent food! Generous portions, very fragrant, and flavorable. It’s a hidden gem, small and cozy. The staff are friendly and service is quick. Would definitely recommend! We got the chicken skewers (delicious), chicken curry soup (huge and delicious ), and basil fried rice ( huge and aromatic). Loved it all :)

Had Laotian food for the first time. Loved our dishes of curry noodle soup and basil curry fried rice. Flavors of the dishes were absolutely amazing. The servers were kind and helpful.

This was a stop on the way to Denali. And I really happy we did, place is super nice and food is great with awesome service. We will consider stopping there again on our way back.

Love this place! So relaxing to have a meal here with great tasting food to accommodating personnel and the lovely acoustic guitar playing in the background makes for a complete experience. Great for families wanting to have some Lao Cuisine.

Ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup and it's amazing! Fantastic flavors with pork and chicken. Noodles are nice and thick compared to most Pho soup I've had. Highly recommend!

Had to try this place on the back of several suggestions and seeing the ratings. Unfortunately, although not a bad place, it was just that. Not bad. Springs rolls were excellent and the dipping sauce with the spring rolls was very good. The Laos tea was good but took a very long time to be made and once it was, 70% of the content of the glass was crushed ice so the value wasn’t there. Possibly the 2 worst parts of the service was the entrees couldn’t even come out at the same time from the kitchen and when they did, it wasn’t fantastic. The pork belly was bland and tough. Not sure if the pork belly was undercooked and maybe not rendered all the way?? Either way it was the experience of eating bland pork lard cubes in a spicy tomato based dipping sauce. Just a bizarre combination in my opinion. Only ate 2 bites of the pork belly and left the remaining on the table. Server asked if we wanted a box and we politely declined leaving 95% of the dish on the table. No attempt was made to rectify the situation.

I got the tofu salad (laab) and my fiancée got what she thought was the stir-fried Chinese broccoli and tofu. I literally pointed at the menu items and read them out loud. Unfortunately what was brought was not Chinese broccoli and tofu, but was pork belly. My fiancée cannot eat pork, she has not eaten pork since she was a child. The server was nice but when our meal was brought to us it should be reiterated what the dish is. Mistakes happen. The food I had was really good, I’m sure we will try again one day. Edit: after thinking about it for a while, I don’t hold the order mistake against the server or staff. If I have specific dietary restrictions it should be up to me to make sure I am getting what I want, not the staff. Changing to 5 star.

Order anything here at any time of the day and it is guaranteed to be delicious. This is the most flavor packed restaurant option in the valley if you're a fan of Asian cuisine. Their laab salad, pho, pork buns, sticky rice, and pork buns are all options I order regularly.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Seward, and were pleasantly surprised with how good everything was! The food has tons of flavor and the portions are pretty decent. We ordered the pork laab (which comes with soup and your choice of rice), and the tom yum fried rice. The fried rice portion size was probably double what I've seen in other places in AK. Absolutely recommend!

Best restaurant in Wasilla. Delicious food and great service. Still plenty of options for me since I've switched to a mostly meatless diet. They have the best spring rolls I've ever had, they are big and full of fresh herbs and the sauce is perfect. I recommend the crispy pork (crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside) or steak (it's cooked perfectly every time, never tough) for the meat options with sticky rice and jeow dipping sauces. The crispy lao salad, pho, and chicken noodle soup are amazing as well. For meatless, the tofu broccoli entree, tofu laab, and curry noodle soup are my favorites. The khua mee stir fried noodles and any of the fried rice (but especially the basil curry fried rice) are incredible too! For appetizers, the tofu in ginger sauce, steam buns, and spring rolls are my favorites. Can you tell I've had almost the whole menu? The vibe is always so peaceful in there too with the nice music they play and I love that they always have one of my favorite food vloggers Mark Wiens on the TV lol.

Some of the best east asian food I’ve had anywhere in the US. Large portions give you great bang for your buck. Flavors are very intense and delicious. The sweet pork stew with a nice soy sauce balance and quail eggs was fantastic with some sticky rice on the side. The char siu pork was fantastic with a lovely spicy sauce on the side for a perfect pairing. The noodle soup was coconut and creamy with a very light and delicate flavor that you could always intensify with the sauces on the side. Papaya salad appetizer was also nice with a strong fish sauce flavor but balanced with the nice lettuce and rice noodles.
