My office Coworker recommended this nice little shop only 2 minutes walking distance from my office, service was great the ladies were very friendly and accommodating. Ordered a cappuccino with a delicious egg,cheese, broccoli on a croissant with a delicious strawberry cheesecake on the side.

I come here all the time! Great service, great food and drinks. love it here. would recommend.

Quick service. Open for just early and lunch time. Closed by 2pm. Really liked the chicken tortilla soup! A cute little spot that I never even noticed even though I live right next to it because the PPAC is so distracting. Outdoor seating is how I even noticed them because someone had a dog outside.

The best! Marquee is a staple of Providence, and it has a nice owner and nice staff as well!

Awesome place, just enough tables, and you can customize your sandwich. The people who work there are very friendly, and it’s a warm environment. They also have drinks that you can ring up at the counter, and pick out yourself! I had a great sandwich on an English muffin, so 10/10 for me.

Cheri is such a wonderful person, I love their breakfast sandwiches and ice coffee selection.

This is a gem in downtown Providence, but probably not widely known by visitors and tourists—which can be both good and bad. Good because you can get right in for fresh food and great service, but bad because they really do deserve to be better known. As it is, everyone lurking around downtown is already hip to the place and you’ll always find a collection of local University students, professor-types, and local workers. This adds to the eclectic and comfortable atmosphere. If you are looking for a bomb breakfast/brunch bagel, killer cappuccino, or goumet-but-unpretentious bite for lunch or early dinner, you must check out the Marquee. Be sure to get a loyalty card punched—you will be back again and again!

I normally love going to this little cafe, to support the business owners and such. But today I had the most rudest person take my order. It’s like she didn’t want to be there and it showed in her customer service. I got attitude for wanting a plain ice coffee and Ordering extra cream cheese for my bagel.. 8/11/2023 at 1:30 pm (if this helps the owner track down who)… this experience makes me not want to go there anymore.

My (almost) daily go to for morning coffee. Lots of variety, good food for the am, without it the rest of the day is just not as good. Fantastic staff, good for a little morning chit chat as well. Right next to PPAC (on the right) but be warned they close at 2pm!

i have been trying to get in touch with google some of the older reviews that are on this page are from previous owner . from 4 to 6 years ago the new marquee cafe reviews are mixed in with the old owner .

This place went above and beyond customer service; the owner is extremely friendly and the food was awesome. The price is very reasonable compared to other breakfast places in the area. Nice setup to sit down and eat or take it to go. Highly recommend this place.

This is a nice coffee shop right by PPAC. I had a pistachio muffin; it was rich and delicious. Plenty of espresso drinks, breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Friendly and helpful young staff. Recommended.

Stop here all the time prior to a PPAC show. Staff is great and very accommodating. The sandwiches are loaded, no skimping.

Steve's Marquee Cafe is my go-to place for quick meals, delicious snacks, and wonderfully crafted beverages (both hot and cold). Their service is always friendly and fast. Employees will typically go above and beyond to suggest customizations to your order, or to ask your exact preferences of your desired items. Prices are very reasonable for food that will always put a smile on your face. If you have the means, do yourself a favor and stop by when you are in the area next- you won't be disappointed.

To Rick Rugeiri I was in the cafe when you were yelling and screaming at the staff. They tried there best to accommodate to offering a refund new sandwich basically going out of their way. The owner followed up with a call to offer you a refund. Why did you not add that to your post or bring the sandwich back to prove there was a hair in it. I hope no one treats you like you treated them. And if you want to know how I know i could hear you screaming from the phone. Me personally I would have just hung up.

Love Cafe la France! This one is my favorite one, the location can be tricky for parking but the food is amazing. Love the cactus chili and the lasagna soup!! Jess, Savannah, Drea and the rest of the crew there are kind, fast and hard working!

EXCELLENT service every time I come in the morning. Cheaper than Starbucks and better quality. A hidden Providence Gem that needs to go viral.

Visite Providence una o dos veces al año en Amtrak; siempre haga arreglos de tiempo para que pueda disfrutar de un sándwich y sopa en esta cafetería. Great food and fast service. This café is comfortable and the flavour is roasted into the coffee beans, meaning no sugary flavour syrup. I recommend Coconut Almond Fudge :)

You have to love a place that plays blues music, serves fabulous local coffee, and has a menu item that pays tribute to Elvis--- peanut butter, banana, and bacon panini! Healthier fare is also available, and you can listen to Etta James belt out "At Last" while sipping on a cafe au lait.
