Rue Bis is my go to for lunch catering. Everyone is fabulous and so friendly when they come to deliver (even when I have 75 sandwiches and salads)! My students always ask where I get the sandwiches from and love how close they are. Highly recommend!!!

One of the best breakfast places in Providence.

I enjoyed our quick brunch on a mid morning Monday! We ordered a scramble (spinach, mushroom, and sausage - you can get up to 3 diff items) and the montecristo. The montecristo is a French toast sandwich with ham and egg in the middle. It was delicious!!! Everything came out hot and fresh. We also had the two hot sauces as condiments, both are delicious. Don't forget to ask for those. I would come back for more next time I'm in town!!

I use Rue Bis fairly often to cater work events. The staff is always extremely communicative and helpful. It seems like every time I order from them, someone comes up to me after and asks, "Where did you get this food?! It was so good!" Highly recommend!

Work right around the corner from here. I like their turkey breast with Swiss sandwich. Big sandwich and usually I can only eat half. Comes with Asian cuc salad. That's pretty sweet. I prefer less sugary but it's still ok.

Great local spot in Providence that has become a go-to lunch choice for me. The 1/2 soup/salad/or sandwich lunch deal is the best and I never leave dissatisfied.

Best homemade hot sauce around (if they have any made the day you are in). Burrito Tuesdays are delicious for lunch. (Wish it was more than once a week). Breakfast burritos are also delightfully delicious. All of the above with their hot sauce of course. Also, super friendly service!

I eat here weekly. The specials are made up from the manager mixing foods at home on the weekends. This place has the great “home cooked meal” feel and an excellent local spot to eat breakfast or lunch.

Staff was extremely friendly. Food was delicious, we took our waitresses advice and had our sandwichs on sweet rolls, and they were to die for. The prices were a little high, but totally worth it. I could see me being a regular if I lived in the area. If you get the chance, I highly recommend stopping here for breakfast or lunch.

Nice breakfast place. Not really a French menu, more American and Tex-Mex. small but comfortable. Good alternative if in the neighborhood.

We stopped in for a quick snack, mid afternoon. We ordered coffee and a toasted muffin. Service was prompt and served with a smile. Would recommend to those interested in a quick bite to a full meal. Either a sandwich or breakfast is offered from 7:30 until 3pm.

Rue Bis is a completely underrated lunch spot in Providence. Most of the customers are regulars from nearby offices. The staff are super friendly, the food is consistently good, the prices are a great value for the quality, and it's always rather quick. If you're looking for an unpretentious quick bite of quality food, Rue Bis is a great choice.

Of all the places I've eaten at, I've never seen a friendlier bunch of people working together! One of the cooks did a little jig for a coworker, they hugged a couple guests, etc. But you're reading this for a review on the food: it's excellent! While the soup was already gone, and there were no more fries available, the sandwiches we had were great. The "Wild Bill" turkey panini had nice, thick slices of turkey breast, with cheese and apple wood smoked bacon. The eggplant sandwich had no skin on it, which can make the eggplant more difficult to eat. Coffee was rich and flavorful. Their pickle slices, however, were PHENOMENAL! We'll definitely be back...

I had a grilled eggplant panini and it was great. I loved it. It comes with a salad or fries. The salad is small, but tasty. The staffs are so nice and happy, and the environment of the place is amazing for lunch! I'll go back there definitely.

Went with the family after visiting the Children's Museum. Very welcoming, immediately got a high chair for the two year old. fast service, great portions, great food. Paper child's plate. Clearly these folks think a lot about their clientele. Strong recommendation!!

We went with three little ones under 1.5 years after the children's museum. They could not have been more welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The food was excellent - amazing panini and Asian cuke salad is love to eat everyday! We'll definitely be back. Thank you to the wonderful staff for being so helpful and understanding with our little ones!

Good food but the process are high.

I work right around the corner from The Rue and go there at least once a week. Shannon always has a smile on her face and is so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and the cookies are AMAZING! I recommend the s'mores, but they go quick! It's small and quaint and the food never disappoints. If you haven't gone you need to put it on your list!

I ordered the rue wrap with the salad a bottled ginger ale. It was the best lunch I've had in a long time, Try it, you'll like it. The ginger ale was just right too..

Visited for a nice lunch with friends and my children. Felt like a regular and not like the out-of-towner I was. The chicken rice soup, the panini, the Caesar Salad with Chicken, all very fresh and tasty. I would recommend.

I've been going here for lunch for the past 10 years. It has a variety on the menu and all is good. I have my favorites, but you need to give this a try and let us know your thoughts.

A really convenient location to the Providence children's museum and to local mediical offices. The food, not really French, is sort of French adjacent. But it is really nice. Loved the roast pork, served in a pita with melted cheese. The salads were really good, but most had some level of sweet in them--cranberries, mangoes, etc. I am beginning to think I am the only person who likes salads to be savory.
