From email communication to our wedding day, this place never drops the ball. I never felt shamed for things I wasn’t aware of as a bride and they were so courteous when I asked questions. I wish I still lived in Austin so I could get more decadent cakes from them. We asked for a 4 tier cake with an unfinished edge style. I also had a budget. Not a problem for Cakes Rock! They immediately got to work keeping my budget in mind and getting as close to my vision as possible. In the end, their recommendation of having a 3 tier and a separate cutting tier worked perfectly. Each tier was a different flavor. My guests raved about the cake on our wedding day and they still do almost a year later. Get your cake here for an unforgettable experience and a creative celebration!

I ordered an engagement cake for my daughter's surprise engagement party and it was beautiful and delicious. It was one of the stand-out beautiful aspects of the party with so many people asking where I bought it! Cakes ROCK!!! always comes through!

11/10 recommend Cakes Rock!!! for all your wedding cake needs! We first did a tasting a were able to try several different flavors of cake, buttercreams and filling. It was a hard decision because they were ALL delicious but we went with a hummingbird cake with strawberry filling. Our guest could not stop raving about how much they loved the cake. The design was beautiful and exactly what we wanted!

Cakes ROCK did a fabulous job on our wedding cake (carrot cake and a vanilla with strawberry buttercream cake). We had been seeing advertisements for this place so we stopped for a quick late breakfast (10am) but they were sold out of most hot and savory items. We purchased what was available and we wanted to sit and eat but seating was very meager so we ate in the car. We also ordered king cake - kind of pricey - but well made.

Cakes Rock was amazing to work with from start to finish! We had a 4 tier wedding cake and a grooms cake and both were stunning and tasted amazing. We received a ton of compliments from our guests. They were able to incorporate our two kitties onto our cake which we were so happy with. Would highly recommend Christy and her team to anyone looking for a gorgeous and tasty cake!

They worked with us every step of the way and helped us design our own personalized flavors and cake combinations as well as the design on our cakes, which we loved more than words can say. The crew did an amazing job and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for a great bakery for a special occasion. Christy and the Cakes Rock!!! team were truly a joy to work with for our small wedding this past March. The entire process was smooth and the level of detail to the artwork is MIND-BLOWING! Sometimes with desserts, there's a certain trade-off between showstopping design and taste, but let us tell you that no bite was left uneaten and the design work was phenomenal! My husband and I just got married, and we are so happy we went with Cakes ROCK!!! as our wedding cake! We decided to have a smaller wedding cake for pictures and to cut into, and JT created the most beautiful and delicious cake! We went with a single tier 7” round caramel cake with the browned butter filling and covered with a buttercream frosting (semi-naked), and we couldn't have been more happy with it! She was also very helpful answering our many questions and giving us ideas to match exactly what we wanted. Thank you, JT, for the the absolute best wedding cake!

Our cake was designed exactly how we envisioned and tasted incredible! I was blown away! Not only are these the best cakes in Austin, they might just be the best cakes ever! The salted caramel frosting is so decadent. Oh, chef’s kiss! Beautifully decorated, but more importantly, a damn good cake! Not dense nor dry, perfectly baked and incredible flavor. Our daughter just graduated from UT and we had a graduation party for her. We wanted a sculpted Hook’em mascot on her cake and matching cupcakes in various flavors. Cakes Rock did an amazing job!!! Our family and friends were so impressed on the details of the cake and cupcakes. And the flavors were delicious! Thank you to all that worked on our cake. Our daughter was so happy!!! I know the name speaks for itself but wow!! Cakes Rock truly creates some of the best treats I’ve ever tasted! I’ve never seen a business have so many different delicious flavors to choose from. It took my husband & I about an hour to narrow down our selections because they all sounded incredible! My absolute favorite was the churro…I will be dreaming about that flavor for months! Cakes Rock is truly just incredible. They donated their services, time & sweets for our “I Do Re-Do” less than a month ago. The cake as well as cupcakes were so delicious! Our guests had so much fun trying each cupcake. Love that idea for guests! We planned on freezing what was left of our wedding cake but that bad boy was gone within DAYS! We will definitely be ordering that churro cake for our one year anniversary! If you’re looking for sweet treats for your special event, trust me when I say book Cakes Rock!

I ordered my daughter's birthday cake from here and I cannot recommend this bakery enough! They answered all my questions, and have fantastic customer service! We received many compliments on the cake's appearance and flavor, it was a total hit at the party! I will definitely order all of my future cakes here.

I am not a cake fan. Like, at all. But, when it was time for our wedding, I wanted to keep it traditional with a beautiful, tiered cake. That's when I stumbled on cakes ROCK. The reviews were outstanding, and when I reached out the Christy she was so helpful & quick to respond. Our cake tasting I think is the hardest decision we had to make all wedding (they were all SO good) & my husband even tried to convince me to schedule another one (he just wanted to eat all the cakes again). We ended up going with the stout chocolate cake with browned butter buttercream & omg WOW. We've been to TONS of weddings this year & the cake at our wedding was BY FAR the best. To be honest, it might have been the best cake I've ever had. Not to mention, it was BEAUTIFUL. If you're on the fence, reach out to Christy, order their cake tasting, & go cakes ROCK. You won't be disappointed.

The cake looked amazing and tasted even better! We did a rainbow- layered, lemon flavored cake with blueberry buttercream. In addition, we have an assortment of mini-deserts which gave plenty of options for our guests. Overall, we were really impressed with the quality and flavors from Cakes Rock!

This is a great place to get your desserts for any occasion. They were able to customize our cupcake order exactly how we wanted and the cupcakes were delicious. It was very easy to get in touch with them and they respond immediately.

Cakes Rock did an AMAZING job at my wedding! We asked for a chandelier cake in navy/gold and a groom's cake of a dragon on a dice tower castle and to 'add any creative touches you want' within those parameters. I'm sure I must have mentioned at some point that I'm a cat person, because of how the dragon came out. I wouldn't have even thought of a dragon licking it's paws, but I loved it. I highly recommend cakes rock!

Hired them for our wedding. The cupcakes and wedding cake were delicious!

We ordered cupcakes for the rehearsal dinner and they were certainly a hit! The espresso were absolutely delicious as were the confetti and pumpkin! We’d order from them again!

Our son had his 2nd birthday over the weekend. We reached out to order a cake and the Cakes ROCK team graciously squeezed us into their schedule. We really appreciate that time and thought given into our cake. We told them we were having a fire truck theme party and they knew what design to pull together. We had a custom cake topper that was to be incorporated. We were flexible in our flavors and they suggested that we have strawberry cake with a lemon curd to make the colors of the theme (I forgot a photo of the inside)! It was so delicious, I could have had 5 slices in one sitting, it was so good. The cake was moist, the curd was perfectly tart, and it was overall, not too sweet! My son enjoyed digging into and all the guests loved it. Pick up was easy. We went the day before during pick up hours. They were so kind and made sure to give clear instructions of how and when to set out the cake for serving. We'll definitely be coming back for future cake needs. thank you!!

Ordered my wedding cake through Cakes ROCK and wow I was impressed. A little story -- I had my samples in the car, on a hot June day, throughout all of Austin while I looked at vendors. I tried some a day later, and it was still as good as when I first tried it. Seriously. On my wedding day, the actual cake looked incredible. It was like a picture. And it tasted amazing! I am so happy I went with Cake ROCKS!

Since we were out of the area it was important for me to have them quickly answering all my questions. THE CAKE was too fun and looked perfect.
