Excellent donuts. Customer service is hit or miss but that doesn’t matter to me in a place like this. Sour cream, chocolate, and their massive cinnamon buns are amazing. Great prices. A must see in the S Labernum/Staunton area

Donuts are the best.. usually the workers are amazing but whoever is working Wednesday July 17th 2024 near closing needs an attitude adjustment little ratchet soundin white girl just cost y'all two dozen donuts at closing time because of her nasty attitude

While being down here in Richmond for training I asked around where to get quality donuts as I always do whenever Iam away from home. I have been to hundreds of donut shop and without a doubt Country style would be among the best I have ever enjoyed. The staff are friendly as well as the customers. I have been here at least 4-5 times over my time here in Richmond and everytime the donuts are made fresh from open until closed. I will miss having such a great donut shop so close to me.

Don't judge a book by its cover, this place has amazing donuts!

Do not be deterred by the outdated storefront and interior. These doughnuts are so much better than the commercial chains. They have the best and freshest custard ones. The most gigantic coffee rolls, apple fritters, twists and eclairs I’ve seen. It’s too bad there aren’t more locations. This one is not far from the airport.

This place has excellent donuts. It's a local business that has been there for at least 30 years that I know of. It is well worth the trip to get the best donuts on the East Coast, period!!! Thank you everyone that makes them so delicious.

I love the apple fritters, huge and fresh. They make the best fresh donuts all day long. The chocolate éclairs or long John's are filled with a wonderful vanilla pudding. Try a bag of donut holes and get a variety of them. I like their cake based donuts.

Haven't been in the early morning lately but I have gone there late afternoon and called early evening and found them to be very limited on selections

This is probably the best doughnut place in the city. Be prepared to spend a little money, but the quality of the donuts is most definitely worth it. This isn’t the type of place you want to sit and enjoy your purchase. You definitely have to catch them either early in the morning or before noon. Anytime after that, you won’t get a good selection of donuts.

Stopped in yesterday afternoon and was so happy that there was one Apple fritter still available! Young gentleman behind the counter was awesome! So friendly and helpful. My sister is visiting from out of state and this will definitely be a frequent visit for us. Delicious donuts of all kinds😋😋.

My niece introduced me to this place a few weeks back and now I’m addicted! I am one who does not like donuts but this place has changed that! Their donuts are always fresh and delicious and the staff is always so friendly.

Donuts are delicious. Vibes are great, friendly workers. Way more expensive than I expected and what photos of the menu say. A single donut was at least $2. I was eating one of their donuts and the inside was still raw. Hopefully I don't get sick.

I grew up on Allie's Donuts in Rhode Island - now world renouned with hour long lines. I had searched everywhere for a donut shop that made glazed crullers that were a cake-style donut instead of a raised-style donut. NNOOOOObody makes them except Allie's - AND THESE GUYS!!! Oh my gosh, I walked in and was THRILLED to find these! They also had my second favorite - a vanilla kreme filled (not pudding style but frosting style). Dunkin Donuts does have these, but in the last 15 years have been putting less and less and less filling - NOT THESE GUYS! Just like I remember them from when I was a kid! Actually *filled* with frosting. Ssoooooo good.

My family and I stopped in here on our way out of Richmond. These are the best doughnuts I’ve ever had in my life. My son got the apple fritter and it was as big as his face (he’s 12). We then got 2 strawberry sprinkled and a chocolate sprinkled I believe. They were so soft and perfectly glazed. I also got the Apple Crumble doughnut but didn’t get to eat it until the next day. It’s still soft and just as delicious as I imagine it would be fresh. The man and woman working were very sweet and patient with us as it was our first time there. They’re also very reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back when we’re in the Richmond area.

Their donuts are Soo good. Large and airy. Turnovers bigger then my hand.

Says they’re open until midnight but they randomly close hours early if they sell out…..don’t count on getting what you set out to get late in the evening. kinda disappointing.

So far so good. Next time I will try to get there early to get them fresher. Hell they were still very good.

Have driven past this place several times in the last few years since I've lived here and always meant to stop in and try. Well today I did...needless to say this will becoming a regular stop. Got the boston cream and apple spice and by far the best doughnuts I've ever had.

Mmm.... OMG... So delicious... These are the first sounds I heard when walking into the Donut Shop. As well as a warm Greeting Hello as I walked in the door. Now I know why it is called The Country Style Donut. Highly Recommend to all my business clients and Friends. Tipping the ones who take my order is never an issue. Each person the owner hires is always curtious and very professional.
