Best bartenders EVER! We literally love to sit at the bar because they give the best service I've ever had. Great memories and so friendly. I can't say enough amazing things about them! Now moving on to the food... amazing! Always the perfect ingredients and taste. Vast menu with great selection! Rick is an excellent chef and runs a wonderful business!

Sara and I had a very nice evening meal here. Portions were larger than we expected. The prices were actually less than I expected, especially given how good everything was. You can't beat the happy hour menu.

Fantastic restaurant! Creative menu with amazing specials. Ask for the Virgil crab cake. It is not on the menu. If you like crab cakes, this will be the best you ever had! The blue cheese cheesecake appetizer was phenomenal. Worth the drive just for that. Lots of creative cocktails. Desserts are unique and worth every calorie! A hidden gem in Pittsburgh!

4.5 stars. Cala Lily restaurant serves foods such as salads, oysters, salmon, chicken, shrimp, and filet mignon. They also serve drinks such as wines and martinis. Prices are moderately high. The dress code is casual. Currently, they are open for an early dinner, which has slightly smaller serving sizes and slightly lower prices, and a regular dinner. My husband and I ate dinner here once. The seating hostess and the waitress provided timely and friendly service. We enjoyed our calamari, chicken-noodle soup, lobster-crab bisque, lobster ravioli, crab cakes, and Cajun shrimp and steak.

We absolutely LOVE it there! It’s our close go to any day of the week!

This was one the most delicious meals I've had in the last decade. I can't tell you, you have to experience it for yourself. Mrs. Julie was spot on with service, and the food blew me away. Don't think, just go!

We hadn't been to Cala Lily since pre-pandemic. We recalled it being a good meal and a pleasant experience so we decided to go back for our anniversary. Wow! It was just outstanding. Service was great. Tables were close but didn't seem intrusively so. There listed nearly 20 interesting martinis at $10 each. But the food-omg. We started with meatballs and mushrooms which were tastier than any appetizer I recall having in the past. Dinner salads were just right and there aren't enough superlatives to describe the entrees. First of all, they looked great on the plates. We had salmon from the menu which was yummy and an off-the-menu special Chilean sea bass. The sea bass was made with a macadamia nut entrusting and covered in a cherry glaze which included actual cherries. OK, the sea bass was expensive at $58 but it was out of this world. I order sea bass whenever it's available so I've had it often but this treatment was unlike anything I've ever had. I had intended to get some kind of steak but, when I heard the server describe the sea bass, I had to try it. We cannot wait to go back to see their next batch of specials.

Outstanding food and service. We just love going here for dinner or just drinks. The bar drink menu is extensive and always made to perfection. They have a 2 options for dinner menus one choice is the early dinner 4:30 to 6:00 same great food as the main menu just smaller portions and limited choices. If you want to fully experience their menu I suggest choosing from the main menu which you can do anytime from 4:30 until closing. We try to visit here at least 4 times a year if not more.

Love the unique entrees, Rick and his staff are exceptional ~ have gone several times, a 5 star but for the crowded seating.

Best food and atmosphere I have ever experienced!

It was my first visit to Cala Lily and a very pleasant surprise. The food was amazing. I ate at the bar, and the bar tenders were amazing. I had one of the best Old Fashioned I have ever had, and the scallops were perfectly cooked.

Elly is the best server I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’d go back specifically to sit in her section.

Salt...so much salt. First time there and we had the meatballs & mushrooms app, there was so much salt that it was inedible. Our main dishes were also terribly salty. Please taste your food before sending it out. It was so bad, its been two days and I'm still feeling sick from all the salt. $120 and we couldn't even finish our meals.

4.3. Went for dinner last night. Great ambiance and vibe. Started with the greens and beans which were the best I’ve ever had. We ended up getting a second order for the table it was so good. The wedge salad was quite simplistic with it just being a wedge of lettuce and three slices of tomato.That was a little surprising to me, but the homemade ranch dressing was fantastic. For my main, I had one of the probably 10 daily specials, a swordfish steak. It was pretty good. Drinks were good, and the staff was very friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Wow! First time. Heard great things. It was delicious! Had the lobster ravioli and my wife had the crab cakes. Finished off with their bread pudding. We will definitely be back.

We recently had dinner for my wife’s birthday. We have been before. Busy Friday evening. Service was great and dinner was delicious. Love the stuffed peppers, wedge salad, and steak. My wife had the tilapia, her favorite. Will be back again.

I had THE best Chilean sea bass of my lifetime last week. Done perfectly and will never have one that good again. Service is always great. We usually sit at the bar and it's a great environment. Call ahead for reservations even if sitting at the bar.

Awesome food coupled with great and friendly service. I love the atmosphere. I am challenged to find a better filet mignon. Always cooked to the perfect temperature and plenty of options. Cannot go wrong - highly recommend

The food is outstanding and the service is exceptional. Great ambiance with a wide selection from appetizers to desserts.

This place is our standby when we want a good meal and don't feel like going too far. I like the intimate atmosphere, good service and always well prepared food. Everything always has a little bit of extra pepper in some way, which is something that I like. Not a fan of their local beer selection, but my wife very much enjoys the martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives.

We dine at that temple of culinary art several times and I have to share my experiences. From the entrance in the restaurant until we walk out with a smile on our faces everting is perfection. Food, servers, bartender and especially chef - they all got from us 5 stars. And I don’t give stars easily trust me. The best place to dine in that part of Pittsbugh!!!!

Great place. You can truly get a great fine dining meal here. Also, the bartenders are well qualified, so you will get a great libation too. Don't forget your wallet, but worth it for the quality.

From the owner to the hostess, to the bartenders and back of house, the entire staff cares about your experience and makes sure you have the most pleasant experience possible. Cala Lily is our favorite place. I want my last meal to be their Cajun Shrimp and Filet Mignon Tops over linguine. I would give the chef naming rights to my first-born in exchange for the recipe. Absolutely amazing!

Atmosphere is intimate. Limited seating, however, the food is amazing, worth the wait. Reservations accepted and recommended as this is a restaurant in high demand. Highly recommend.

Cala Lily is a small restaurant in a very small strip mall, but don't let that fool you. We've dined there twice and the food and service were absolutely top-notch both times.

Fantastic little spot with great food. Probably the best in the Gibsonia area. Took me too long to realize it was there.

Just had an amazing meal made by an artist more than just an everyday chef. Joyce the attendant been wonderful and knew first hand how to give me the welcoming and hospitality feeling to make my evening wonderful. I'll surely go back there for more of those artistic dishes and, Joyce, you surely brought the Joy to my visit. Thank you for a great and a wonderful time.. ☺️

Overpriced. They used to offer nice happy hour or early bird specials at the old location.the atmosphere is crowded and really not special for the money. Some dishes are unique and well prepared. Be prepared to eat light.

Cala Lilly was one of the best dining experiences that we have ever had. From the outstanding and caring staff to the delightful creative dinner dishes and cocktails. Every part of our visit was spectacular. We are from out of town and were more than pleasantly surprised when visiting Cala Lilly. We would highly recommend Cala Lilly to anyone who is looking to have a fantastic dining experience with many gourmet meal choices. Chef Rick will go out of his way to make every dish memorable and delicious. The entire staff work together seamlessly. It is a wonderfully choreographed experience.

While visiting my daughter in Gibsonia, we decided to splurge with a takeout from Cala Lily. It was truly an amazing dinner. I can only imagine how much better it would be if we had gone to eat at the restaurant. We will definitely go there the next time we visit. Highly recommended!

Ordered a few items last night trying to help out local businesses. It was okay food. The only issue is that the food that we got was way overpriced for what it was. I don't know if it's because they sell a lot of plates? If that's the case, good for them! Just did not have a great first impression.

Food is always amazing! Every single night there are so many specials to complement the regular menu. If you love seafood then try the Cala Lily, always fresh sustainability sourced seafood with amazing fresh made sauces. Also you have to get the warm wedge salad with homemade Roquefort dressing..Great way to start the meal.

Owners of Cala Lily are genuine, thoughtful people - from the second you walk in, you can can tell they care about their establishment, the quality of their product, and the customers. Food was incredible and I will be going back in a heart beat.

We stopped in for our first visit tonight with our 5 year old daughter. We were promptly seated and greeted by our waitress. Let me just say that Ashley was quite possibly the best waitress I have ever had! She was extremely polite, carefully attentive and just the sweetest ever! They were all extremely accepting of my daughter and went above and beyond to make her feel welcome and enjoy her dinner as well! I can not say enough good things about this restaurant... the staff, amazing food, great selection for food AND drinks.... we will definitely be back!!!

You cannot beat this restaurant for variety and execution of fine dining dishes. If you’re looking for more laid back food, they have an amazing happy hour and light menu! On top of that, the staff treats you like a family member. It’s an absolute treat. A++++++!

Always love Cala Lily, but during this unprecedented time, I am beyond impressed. The Take out service and food are outstanding quality. Had fresh Halibut, Crab Hoelzel, Shrimp and Filet Tips, Greens and Beans for a special dinner event and everything was amazing. The Halibut was to die for. Thank you to the staff for providing us with such a wonderful quality option during this struggle.

My husband and I went there for dinner last night and it was just outstanding. I was very impressed by how many different specials they had. My husband got the NY strip with some sort of rosemary and Olive oil glaze that was cooked to a perfect medium rare just as he had requested. I had the jumbo lump crab ah gratin upon my servers suggestion(who was absolutely amazing btw.) It was a large portobello cap stuffed with fontina cheese and a generous amount of crab meat that was topped with roasted tomatoes and a balsamic drizzle. I was happy that I did not feel out of place getting a little more dressed up as the atmosphere was classy.

Cala Lily has the feel of a comfortable neighborhood bar, with friendly staff and a warm, pleasant ambiance. The food is homemade and definitely not typical bar food. There are inventive and tasty entrees. The wine list is decent as well, far better than most neighborhood bars. I would certainly go back.
