After a minor mishap, Aaron, the owner, personal called us to rectify what had occurred. Mr Aaron Gomez went above and beyond to make us feel like valued customers. I love their coffee and Expresso drinks! Just don't ask for horchata like a uncultured swine like me, they get realllllllly mad lol. Loved the sammichs, flan, and of course the coffee.

Always a great choice. If you like sweet plantains definitely order them here.

I went here for some Cuban food (pastries, croquettes, Cafe con leche) because I missed my exit (341) off I-75 where I usually go. Everything was great, definitely coming back and yes, the food is worth the distance off the interstate.

We love MiApa!!!! The whole family, kiddo included, love all the food, especially the empanadas. And the coffee is always on point! And there's always a friendly face to greet us and take our order.

Excellent & affordable food, arrived quickly. The seating is pretty basic. We ate dine-in and were greatly disappointed to be given plastic utensils (cheap ones at that, forks almost broke). We need to STOP using single use plastic - can't Mi Apa at least give dine-in patron metal utensils?

Quick, polite service. The good was not only delicious but at a reasonable/ affordable price. We've been going to the Alachua location for years & just recently found out about this location (which is always conveniently located where we do our running around), so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed, and we can't wait to go back

I had a gastrointestinal upset after eating here last time. I am disappointed because it has been a favorite spot for lunch. I ordered a different rice and bean dish. Maybe it was old.

We asked for chicken soup. It looked good but it had a strong oregano flavor. I really didn't like it.

I really loved the decor inside and the menu options! Service was great and the food hit the spot. They even have an event room as an option which is neat. I hope this restaurant will decide to open locations across Florida!

Food was well-prepared and flavorful. The Key West cuban was tender and juicy.

I typically enjoy eating at mi apa and constantly frequent the Alachua and 34th street location and the food is always great. This is my second time at the Jonesville location and both time the food doesn't taste like MI apa. Today, I got a Miami and the turkey meat tasted like publix deli turkey and the ham as well. The entire sandwich was disgusting and they did not make it the same. I will not go back to this location because you don't get mi apa branded food only the bread and this is my second time having that experience and it's only at the Jonesville location.

I had never tried MI Apa before. I went in and the manager really went out of his way to explain the menu for me. He was extremely helpful. And the food was great. The best Cuban sandwich I've ever had! 😋 I will be back.

The last straw. I’ve been going to this restaurant since they opened this location and have watched it crumble to bad service and wrong orders. I will not come back this time.

I got the roasted pork bowl, and this food is the perfect mix of everything I want on the menu! Everything is fresh, and it looks like they perfected the mango milkshake. I also had an iced latte this time, and this isn’t just any iced latte. This is a perfectly pulled two shots of espresso poured over milk! The food quality matches the coffee quality.

Hair in my food is not acceptable that is all I will say. I won’t be back. Mistakes happen yes.

Mi Apa is an institution in GNV. Food is delicious, coffee is excellent, people are friendly at each location. I order food here at least 2x a month and often order catering to treat the team at my work.

Would be 5 stars if they hadn’t changed the tequeńo recipe. Love their coffee and the staff are all lovely. But bring back the old tequeńo please March 2024 update. Service seems worse on the weekends. And vegetarian empanadas are on the menu but they are rarely available. Also, I just got served my sandwich in a plastic bag instead of a to-go box. By the time I got home it was soggy. What is going on Mi Apa???

She knew how to adjust my rewards account to my phone number instead of email address making each visit more efficient and accurate. Cafe con leche perfect midafternoon highlight during a very busy day in Jonesville, Florida. Thanks to all who prepare delicious food and drinks at mi apa!!

Been going to Mi Apa Everytime we go to Gainesville. Great the Jonrsville location has a great atmosphere, people are great, it's clean, new and the food doesn't disappoint.

If you want something light and sick or not sick, their chicken soup will make you feel instantly awesome and if you’re sick, you’ll be better by morning God bless their chicken soup!

Me gusta mucho visitar este restaurante, porque es el único que sirve un buen café cubano en esa área. Es tranquilo y su personal es agradable. Tiene estacionamiento gratis y servicio en ventanilla si deseas ru orden para llevar. Lo recomiendo.

Each time we have gone there, they have trouble getting our order right. The food tastes good, but it shouldn’t be this hard to place a food order at the counter.

After growing up in South Florida, I understand Cuban food better than most. Problem is – this is a chain restaurant. Though I got it, the Cordo was good the chicken soup was excellent and I love their plantains.

Yummy as always!! I discovered something new and love it. It's the 2nd time I've had it. It's Elena Ruz. It's a turkey sandwich on sweet bread, with cream cheese and guava jam. It has the vibes of a Monte Cristo without the fried crust.

I love Mi Apa and was excited to see a location in Newberry/Jonesville. The food is great and same great quality as the other locations!! I love their cuban sandwich, and the empanadas are all AMAZING!!

I’ve been coming to Mi Apa for years and I’ve never ever had a bad experience. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing, especially the frita. Some of the best Cuban food outside of Miami!

Oh my, I love Mi Apa food, but just had the steak for breakfast, soooooo good. My new favorite. With some Cuban bread to soak up the egg, yum.

The service was excellent the girls were smiling and joking and very jovial. They have one dish that they do very well which is the ropa vieja but everything else is terrible and super expensive. I can wholeheartedly recommend the ropa vieja but nothing else in this place. The wife liked the sweet plantains but they will not up to par for me. The value of the staff was what race is rating higher.

By fat my favorite resteraunt in gainesville. I am always craving their Cubano and I always try something new coming here. Absolutely in love with the Batido de Guayaba. Gorgeous and the best thing I've put in my mouth. It's tangy and sweet.

Must try - coconut pastry, guava cheese pastry( perfect sweetness) Their coffee is also really good. They serve in shot cups with great taste.

I go for a coffee every weekend and the staff, usually Danniela or Meagan, is always super friendly, quick, and accurate with orders. The coffee is leagues above anywhere else in town. Can’t recommend enough!
