Good ice cream from local farms. Problem is all the kids that work there w no adult supervision. Girl put my sundae in a cup. Why would you do that. There are bowls for a sundae. The cups are for milkshakes. They have 3 sizes of bowls. So if you put hot fudge in a cup on ice cream the entire thing will melt almost instantaneously and go right to the bottom. Why would you do that. Stupid fing children can't wait for the day when robots do these jobs

Miss Eleanor was serving up the Blue Scoop ice cream today and it was delicious today poolside!

Despite being extremely busy, the staff was super nice and handled the line quickly and with ease! The peach ice cream was amazing! It was my first time going and I will definitely be back! I got to meet the owner Barbara and she was super sweet, I had a great time and the staff really deserved a shout out. (:

Ice cream has been fantastic for years. Wish the staff would use glove’s. Pretty nasty looking at ice cream arms on watches and knuckles with 10 different flavors from the scoopers. Wiping off in the same rag all day probably doesn’t really get rid of the germs.

Look no further for homemade ice cream owned by a friendly, local woman. There are *so* many choices sourced from two locally-owned dairy farms. Plus, there are gourmet ice cream cones like I've never seen before. I went with the motor oil and pb swirl on a hand-dipped waffle cone. Both flavors were delightful - not too sweet and no artifical taste. The motor oil was like a fine cappuccino kissed by chocolate and caramel - albeit green - swirls. Personally I'd like a bit more swirls but that's the farm, not the shop. I highly recommend and will be back! (They also had pretty assorted baked goods that I did not try - but I certainly will.)

For homemade ice cream, I was expecting better. Most homemade has chunks of real fruit, nuts, etc. to flavor; but not the case here. That leads me to question if it is artificially flavored. I tried the butter brickle, and it tasted more like vanilla because the brickle was sparse. My husband had the butter pecan, his usual, and was not impressed. Other places we frequent for homemade ice cream have whole pecans, whole chunks of cherries, blueberries, etc. Pricing is high for what it is. The price of their waffle cone was outrageous compared to others. If you offer really good homemade ice cream, I don't mind paying the price. Otherwise, I can buy similar ice cream by the half gallon at the local grocery store and save my money. Maybe the owner should stop at the local Dunkin Donut/ Baskin-Robbins or the Island Creamery in downtown Berlin (two of our favorites) to sample some great ice cream.

My favorite ice cream place love visiting here in the summer when I can but I live on west coast so I only get go to Delaware every once in awhile but if your in the area definitely stop by - Carolyn Melody Mackes :) 💓

Delicious! Custom ice cream cake for my wife was perfect. Gooey dark chocolate as one layer, turtle (choc, caramel, pecan) as other layer with the perfect amount of brownies between them. Beautifully decorated too. Super friendly and helpful owner (I think) too. I will definitely be back for ice cream, cakes, etc. Best I’ve had at the beaches.

If you love ice cream without the crowds, this is the place to come. The ice cream is home made off site at a few different farms that they contract with. Nice fresh ingredients make for some awesome ice cream. The place is clean and the service is very good. There has to be over 30 or 40 flavors of ice cream. They have gluten free cones and no sugar added vanilla. Take the kids for a flavorful treat.

While not open for the season yet, last summer we got ice cream cones from The Blue Scoop and they were great! The ice cream is smooth, delicious and oh-so tasty! The place is small but the staff had big smiles! 'Can't wait to visit agaim!

Some of the best ice cream I have had in the Fenwick island and Ocean City MD area. This is as good as dumsers if not better. The staff is super friendly and the scoops are huge. Homemade waffle cones in 6 flavors like red velvet, chocolate, strawberry, etc. Try moo cookies, cookies and creme with chocolate, or the chocolate coconut almond. So many flavors to choose from. This is the ice cream spot!

Very delicious 😋. They were super patient with our group as we had never been there before and it took us a minute to figure out what we all wanted to order. There were especially nice and attentive to my two-year-old 🤩.

They have so many flavors of ice cream. Probably more than you can think of. They also serve sundaes, milkshakes, and they even do ice cream cakes. The only thing I dislike are their prices. They always raise them every year.
