Stop in 5 minutes before closing after a all day hike at Jones Gap State Park. Was greeted with great hospitality. Got a couple of burgers and was not disappointed. I chose to eat outside so they could close up. But it definitely was a good quality burger. We will have to try their hot dog next time. They make a bold claim.

If you want a hot dog on the go, this place is fine. It's clean and a local rural hangout. There are only 4 or 5 tables and not really a dine in destination. Only open daytime hours and no Sundays or Mondays. People are friendly but not super fast. Hot dogs are average but they do offer burgers and a few sandwiches.

The sign says “best hot dogs in town”. I’m not exactly sure who their town competitors are for hot dogs, so I went in to find out just how good they are! Well, they are great!!!! This is rounded out with a perfect blend of charm, atmosphere, and service!

This is a great place to stop on a drive through the area, or to become a regular if you live within striking distance. It was super clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. No cash? No problem. They take plastic. They also have a cash tip jar, if that's your preference. There were quite a few people at the tables around us who stopped in from their workday for lunch, which is always a good sign, plus a couple or three retirees at the lunch counter, swapping tales. A steady stream of customers gave us the chance to gawk at their beautiful hot dogs, salads, and sandwiches for eat-in or to-go orders. There was ample parking available. Bonus: The food is good. We tried the bologna sandwich (oh, what a slab of bologna!) and a cheeseburger with mustard, chili, and onions, with Napoleon Dynamite grade tater-tots on the side to top it off. All were hot, fresh, and tasty, and they kept our iced-tea cups filled the entire time. It's not a Michelin restaurant; it's a small diner. Therefore, we rated it high because it touches all the bases for exactly what a small diner should do: Provide reasonably-priced, great tasting food quickly in a friendly, safe, clean environment. We will hit again, when we're in the area. Or, we might be in the area just to hit it again--maybe breakfast next time!

We eat here almost every weekend. My 6 year old loves the ladies here and asks me every Saturday if we can go to the F-Mart for lunch!

A wonderful country cafe. Excellent food wonderful and friendly service. Hotdogs are absolutely the best you would find anywhere. The hotdog and cheeseburger chili is exceptional, when traveling out of town in our RV we always obtain a container of the chili to take with us. The place has that wonderful hometown vibe, kinda like the song in the show Cheers where everyone knows your name !!! Great food, Great People my kind of place !!!

If you visiting one of the local parks or just near by you have to check this place out. The food is great and the prices are even better. All the ladies that work there always go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome.

I got a chili dog and a tea , I just didn’t care for the chili , but everyone makes it different so I would try it again but no chili , it’s more like seasoned hamburger. Seems like a busy place especially for locals , the women that work there were very nice , I actually ate in my car , felt a little uncomfortable inside.

Really good service, great food, needs a little more seating. Wish we had more of these places in Greenville.

Stopped by here for lunch today after visiting Sassafras Mountain site. What a great surprise. The staff were especially nice and the food was amazingly good. Chilli Cheeseburger for me and a hotdog for my wife. We shared an order of tater tots. Oh yeah, the sweet tea is super good as well. Will be back.

This is that little hole in the wall place that has all your comfort food on the menu at a great price. The folks are real nice. I love the taco saladand the tots are top notch

We happened upon this place out of sheer luck after visiting Pretty Place Chapel on 06/13/23 for breakfast. It was obvious that the building had been here for years.....but the place was immaculate!! So much so that my father accidentally dropped his biscuit but didn't think twice about picking it up to eat it! The staff were so sweet and charming....and the locals were welcoming! Please thank whoever covered our bill....we are so grateful for such hospitality! I hope someday we happen upon them again! With all our appreciation......The Texans!

The staff are amazing! And the tater tots were perfect; crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. The shop is clean as a whistle, and the merch is tidy and well-organized. This place is a gem. It's obviously well-loved and well-cared for by the owners. I'll make a point of eating here again as soon as I can.

Great food, best fishing spot on the River right next to the store!

Interesting little place on the side of the road. It has it own charm. It gets locals and tourist for business. They mainly have hotdogs, hamburgers, BBQ pork sandwiches.

Not only good food in a clean, aptly located spot, but absolutely wonderful service. We were camping and forgot spoons (headbang) so I swung by hoping to buy some. They gave me spoons and more with a smile. Need more places like this in our world!

Best Hotdogs. The ladies are really nice. I only know of one other restaurant that makes hot dogs this good. This is the only location in the Marietta - Travelers Rest area that I would even buy hot dogs other than three oaks Cafe. When I'm at home or going to see my friend in Cleveland I always try to stop to get some hot dogs. The chili reminds me of a homemade taste that I had growing up. If you're traveling or you've never been to the F-Mart you might see it as a little small Mom and Pop convenience store, but don't pass this location up. You're missing out on some of the greatest southern hospitality from some of the sweetest women of the area. They'll always greet you with a smile, fill your bellies with good food, and make you have a pleasant visit. I've never had a bad meal at this location. Food is always cooked fast and it's perfect for those that are going fishing, or traveling and in a hurry. If you're ever planning on sitting down to eat it's a nice little spot to rest, and take a small break while you enjoy some good food and conversation. I know a lot of people pay attention to my reviews because I review so many restaurants because I'm a big foodie so if you're seeing this review no it's coming from the heart and you're not going to regret it. I may not be a professional food critic but I'm not afraid to speak my mind when it comes to a restaurant if I'm satisfied or dissatisfied. And when it comes to the Mills you will be satisfied. There's many restaurants you go to where some days they're in a good mood, and some days they're going to be having a bad day and they let it be seen and show it on their faces and you experience it as a customer. This is one location but I've never felt like that. If you're out and you want to go see the mountains or the leaves in the fall or make a trip or just get out and about and go find a new place it might be small but it's packed full of flavor and love. Best Diner Ever. This is my new favorite place. It’s a small country diner on Highway 11. I can’t say enough about this place. I got a hotdog and fries. It was amazing. The fries were crinkle cut, my fav, and the hot dog and chili was the best. And the place is the cleanest that you will find. I can’t wait to try their breakfast also. Do yourself a favor and stop by. Lynn and her staff are amazing.

Great old fashioned place for lunch when hiking in Northern Greenville SC and especially near the Jones Gap area.

We have stopped at this litte eatery several times a year on our way to Florida. The staff/owner is always friendly, the food a nice break from the usual fast food stops, and prepared quickly. Hamburgers, hotdogs, etc.

Super clean & organized! Bathroom clean, clean, clean! Food was excellent! Lynn, Carrie and Angel made us feel welcomed and treated us like family. Highly recommend!

Not the greatest curb appeal but go inside and you have a real old school look and great food. The two young ladies went out of their way to make sure everything was clean. The food was served quickly and the price very fair.

Great place to grab a cold drink and get a couple of really good hotdogs. Everyone is so friendly, makes you feel right at home.

This place is a hidden gem. It isn't high class fare, but the food is genuinely delicious and the staff, while busy, is very pleasant. It is one of the few places my kids actually want to come back and eat at. Their chili dogs and bbq sandwiches make this a place worth stopping by for. And if you're trying to escape the face mask culture of blind obedience that you'd find in the cities, come here. They won't be asking for your vaccine passport to enter.

Old-school roadside country store & grill. Basic American grill eats, made fresh to order. The whole experience feels like stepping back a few decades in time.

Setup is cute, old school cafe with fairly cheap prices but mixed experience. Pattie melt was good, taco salad was not. The chips were stale & not enough options for toppings. Staff weren’t wearing face coverings during a pandemic, I didn’t like that.

Mountain delightful food. Been favorites meeting place for years. Glad to see the tradition carrying on with the McCarsons that have taken pride in taking this hot step to the next level. Best hot dogs in the Cleveland area. Stop by we like keeping our local businesses going .

Great atmosphere, very clean, very courteous, and great food. From breakfast to lunch everything is always good, and fresh. If you like pancakes, you’ll love there’s (aka the pound cake) This place reminds you of that tv show Cheers, no they don’t sell beer. But everybody knows your name.
