Absolutely incredible experience at Cali. It was my first visit along with 19 of my closest friends this evening. Although Cali does not take reservations, they expeditiously and graciously sat us all together in amazing time. Our waiter for service was Phillip. He was knowledgeable of the menu and provided excellent recommendations. He handled the large party with ease and confidence. Be sure to go on a Tuesday as that’s when they have their infamous tacos available. Otherwise you can have your choice in a bowl format. I had the Thai tacos and swapped one of those for a Brazilian taco with a friend. Equally pleasing to the taste buds. I grabbed the manager on my way out to express our gratitude and the overall pleasant experience, incredibly fresh food and well staffed restaurant. I have been in a lot of restaurants that were under staffed, this one is not. The food was out quickly and was the perfect temperature. Since it was my first time at Cali, you get a choice between two cookie selections, on the house. I was very full from dinner and I’m saving the chocolate chip cookie for a snack later. Don’t walk, run to this location, you will not be disappointed. Simply amazing!

Had a wonderful meal here and sat outside. Service was friendly and very helpful. Be sure to ask the staff their recommendations. I’m glad I did. Food was flavorful and fresh. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Overall a wonderful experience. I’d definitely go back.

I think the employees need to wash their hands everything was dirty and sticky with food on it the plates and such. I shouldn't pick up a plate and have dirt on the table because the plate is filthy.

I would have given 4 stars if it were not for the consistent problem we've had with being served cold food: meat tacos, Brazilian bowl and lentil bites. Servings are also noticeably smaller. Were it not for those issues, I would have given them 4 stars. The servers have been consistently excellent. They've offered to have the kitchen remake my cold meals both times this happened with the meat dishes. I did not want to trouble them with remaking the lentil bites. Yet both times what l received was somewhat warmer but dry and overcooked meat. I used to really enjoy our neighborhood Cali for a relaxing night out but now I have to weigh that against the possibility of disappointment. Food temperature and consistency is important to me.

I enjoyed my meal at Cali! It was pretty good! I got the lean n clean bowl and I only wished it would have came with more meat. It was quite expensive for how much food I received but I was mostly satisfied. I would probably eat here again, though I’d look to see what else is out there first.

I had a terrible experience a few days ago, I wanted to eat a favorite meat dish and the waitress never understood the term “steak” or “meat” I even showed her on my cell phone what I wanted and she brought me a different dish. If you are Latino, don't come here, they have neither the patience nor the intention to serve you.

This place was so good. The basic wrap is the best thing ever!

Came for brunch. Menu was big and they had a lot of different options. I ordered the Cali bowl, which was fine but lacked seasoning and could’ve used some fresh pico or something for acid. Fried lentil bites were good. My friends had the San Jose bowl, granola French toast with mango, and the Lil Hungry. French toast was a win. Wouldn’t be my first choice for brunch, will have to try lunch next time.

First time trying their food, and it was amazing. From a healthy eater point of view, the food was packed with flavor. it's my new "Quick" bowl restaurant. Shout out to our waiter Philip, very knowledgeable on the food he is serving, quick and responsive, friendly and hilarious. thank you dude for making it a great first experience for us.

Everytime I go to Cali I have a great experience! Food is consistently good and service is always great! Special shoutout to Kelsey, everytime she serves me is so wonderful! She has a fantastic attitude and is always smiling and making conversation with myself and the other guests I’ve seen her serve. Really amazing personality, a masterclass in customer service! <3

Breakfast is Better Twelve years earlier we had dinner here when it was called Ciccio Cali. It was pretty mediocre, so we never returned. Now, the restaurant was recommended in a couple of lists of “best weekend brunches”. It also had a new name and we decided that maybe it had changed for the better, even though ownership was the same. It was a busy late Sunday morning. There was a guitarist/singer for entertainment, which made things more festive. The restaurant had been remodeled and was more attractive. It was busy, which made service slow. It took a few waves to our server to get knives/water/coffee-refills/etc. My wife got the Lil’ Hungry: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, pancakes and fruit (which we subbed for the potatoes). It was all nice, but not unlike any diner. The star was the fruit—a large bowl of good fruit—not just the usual bowl of melon with a half-strawberry. I had the Granola French Toast which was the most disappointing item. Apparently, it is quite popular, so I must be in the minority. A couple of thick slices of bread was coated in granola. When cut, the heavy coating caused the bread to completely collapse and this turned the interior into a gummy mess. The ginger syrup was good. I would return to try one of the bowls which looked good on adjacent tables.

I eat here regularly when I'm busy. Love having a healthy option for dining out! Food never disappoints so yummy.

I ate a spaici bean burrito, it was delicious and the waitress was super friendly. I was very quiet, I highly recommend it.

it is so nice to be able to order something without meat.. dairy for those of us who are vegan. everything is fresh and good. when i am tired or just do not feel like cooking it's a blessing. i remember the days when people would say to me OH you don't eat meat? like i was from another planet. thanks for this great place in St Pete!!!

Cali is one of my favorite places in St. Pete. The food is great and they have gluten free fried chicken, which is amazing and worth trying even if you are a gluten eater. Everything is good, including the sangria which I highly recommend. Very refreshing and not too sweet. The service is always EXCELLENT. We always sit on the dog friendly patio with our doggo. She loves it. What you get at Cali: Great food Good atmosphere Great service Good prices PS you get a free cookie the first time you dine here. I hear it’s delicious. But not gluten free.

Went here for dinner last night. Absolutely amazing. At first when I walked in I almost got a cafeteria vibe BUT don’t let that fool you. Their food is amazing!!! I ordered the Thai bowl with grilled steak, others had the blackened chicken burrito with a black bean tortilla, pizza, popcorn chicken and fries…. Everything was so fresh . We will definitely be back!!

I come here with my family just about weekly, especially for brunch. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere is nice, and the location is very convenient (being right next to the store and gym). To top everything off, many of the wait staff is very friendly and attentive - some of them even remember us and our orders week to week. Great restaurant!

Service is always phenomenal, food is consistently great, and they’re so accommodating. We visit often with our dog and sit outside. Johnny is THE best server. Dana is THE best manager, and Kelcey is THE best To-Go girl. Yuriy is usually the host when we come in, and he is always so friendly and on top of everything. Cali has great vibes, food, and employees.

Our favorite place. We eat here every weekend. Their food is consistently perfect. The service is amazing and Johnny is the best server. They play live acoustic music in the weekends. I have diet restrictions and Cali has the best menu for that.

The best brunch food in St Pete! We come every weekend, sometimes both Saturday and Sunday because it’s that good and it’s always consistent. The staff is so friendly! If you are looking for an allergy friendly alternative, come to Cali!

I usually get either the Mexico Bowl or the Spicy Brazilian Bowl with the recommended bases and proteins. Great place for lunch to dine in and socialize or get some computer work done. Great selection of bowls including Thai, Mexican, Brazilian and others. Fresh and tasty ingredients served in healthy "just right" portions. I eat there often, and I think you will enjoy it also.

My breakfast sandwich was delicious! They have the best guac here. Definitely coming back!

Love Cali! One of my favorite spots - went with a friend and we had Johnny as our server, who was absolutely wonderful! I had the Hot & Crunchy with tuna - excellent as always! Would recommend to anyone!

This is our “spot”! We enjoy brunch here every Saturday. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly, and they have live music on the weekends. We love it!

I come here weekly. Staff are always welcoming, professional and accommodating. If there is ever anything wrong, they have been very open to feedback and always work to fix the issues. I am a big fan of the brunch (Can’t beat $5 mimosas!). My favorite bowl is their Spicy Brazilian. The hot honey pizza is bomb. Overall, love being a regular here.

My husband and I always try to hit up Cali when we’re in town because we don’t have a location locally. This visit we both got bowls and they were absolutely perfect. Johnny was our server and he was great. Making sure our drinks were always filled and that we were satisfied.

Horrible service came in with a group of 9 and they gave us looks like we were not welcome and then they started putting tables together and it was so slow I could've went and done it myself we didn't even get to our food personally I haven't tried it but because of the service I personally wouldn't want to eat the food knowing how they treat their customers and when we told them we were leaving they smiled like they purposely were going slow to make us leave

Eating dinner at this restaurant the other night seen cockroaches and some other kind of bug look like a spider running around, bathrooms were filthy and the food was just atrocious. Will be calling the health department and the better Business bureau. Rats everywhere ugh

A hidden gem among the vast sea of food places out there. A perfect balance of cost and food quantity. I got the Fajita bowl. Wow was I surprised. The flavors felt like fireworks. The rice fluffy like a cloud, the black beans had great texture, the peppers and onions were perfectly cooked. The grilled chicken is spot on perfection. The guacamole was creamy and felt like I was in south America. To top it off the creamy white cheese sauce blended it all together to make an experience. I will definitely be coming back. I want to try every dish. Philip the server is a rockstar.

We ordered Catering from Cali St Pete and not only was it an easy experience, but the food was fantastic- HIGHLY recommend! Gabby was wonderful to work with - she helped us find creative solutions for our catering needs and communications were very timely. Her delivery team Kelcey and Cara were spot on- they handled it all and didn’t miss a thing! For a large business that often gets catering, even our Banquets team was pleasantly surprised at how well the whole process went from start to finish! Thank you Gabi and Cali St Pete- YOU EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!

This was our first time here and it was outstanding! Our server, Sophia, gave fantastic recommendations and was so kind. We each had bowls that were so, so good. The pizza looked wonderful as well. We will be back many more times. Oh, and the aguas frescas are delicious!

The food is good but they’ve cut their portions almost in half yet raised prices. Unfortunately, it’s no longer worth the $.

Food choices are interesting and there are a lot of vegetarian options. Lentil bites as protein were new to me and I liked them. The spaghetti squash contained several chewy, fibrous seeds that I couldn't swallow putting me in the awkward position to remove them elegantly from my mouth and place them back on my bowl or on the table. I would have overlooked the seeds if the bowl had offered more vibrant flavors, spices, and salt. Because of the variety of vegetarian dishes I would have given 4 stars but the host looked and behaved as if he had just been dumped by his partner and my server did not explain anything when I told him that this was my first visit and simply stated that I would probably need more time and left. The menu had no explanation about how to order and since I am not a bowl person, it took me a while to understand how to combine vases and proteins with the base bowl. I rarely leave a 3 star rating and would rather skip reviewing a place but when my check for a bowl and a beer exceeded $30, I decided to caution my fellow Google maps users.

Everything was fantastic from walking in the door. Greeted right away, Server was prompt at table for drinks and food orders, never was rushed. Food was fantastic and plentiful. The Ahi Tuna in my bowl was actually very good Tuna didn't look like the artificial colored and there was a lot of it. Definitely will be back.

Maddi (correct spelling?) Was pur waitress and she was very attentive, and obviously she had pride in her job...the food was simply fantastic! Getting yelled at by the hostess makes your food taste bad. When I got there, there's a guy playing guitar on the left, there's quite a few people in the lobby, it's loud and chaotic. Straight ahead of me is a guy standing at a register taking orders. So I get in line and when I get up to the guy I place my order. When I get a text that my food is ready I go to pick it up and it's in a bag. I let him know that I was planning to eat there, and then further chaos ensues. The hostess is clearly pissed off that I was so foolish as to not notice whether she was there or not, in the midst of all the other people, and was pissed that I wanted to actually eat my food at the restaurant now, that I did it wrong, while involving the guy who actually took my order at fussing at me. Anyhow, the process was chaotic, confusing, and getting scolded by an employee really puts a bad taste in your mouth. The food was good though, was fresh, and flavorful, but I don't think I'll be back.

Wife and I experience food poisoning. Enough of a reason to never return. We're long time locals, but will never eat there again. You'd think serving food that was safe to eat would be the #1 priority of a restaurant...

Long-time customer, yet Cali 100% failed on Tues, April 2. Host seated us outside as we requested. Waited and waited for server to come by. After 15 minutes, we asked if he was our server, and the reply was ‘yeah, I’ll be with you in a sec’. After another 5 minutes I went inside to return the menus to the host and spoke with the manager. She offered nothing for a return visit or anything for service recovery. She blamed his poor service on a new computer system. Sigh. It’ll be a while before I try Cali again.

I’m sitting here waiting for my to-go lunch order, and although the restaurant is absolutely slammed, the front counter worker Zach hasn’t stopped smiling and treating every customer with kindness and upbeat positivity. One of the most genuine, happy people I’ve ever had the pleasure of encountering working at a restaurant. I’m a business owner, and this is the type of employee I strive to find. What an asset he is- a gem!

Large vegetarian selections, and drinks were good! We loved Rio Burrito, and Brazilian Bowls. Service was excellent.

Place is way overpriced now. The menu and pricing are deceiving when you order a bowl because the protein is an additional up charge. Never seen a place do that before. Just feels scummy to do that. Food itself was fine but won't be back with these outrageous prices.

If you hate your life maybe you should find another job or make better life choices but stop being rude to people.

Our family of four was able to get a bit of everything. I got an Epic bowl, husband the wrap and our kids popcorn chicken and pizza. Each dish was delicious, fantastic cookies as well.

10/10 experience! From the moment we were greeted the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I had the hot honey pizza with chicken instead of pepperoni and it was super delicious and my husband had the Thai bowl & loved it as well. The kids also really liked their quesadilla & bowl. Also, the cucumber mint fresca was super tasty and refreshing. What added the cherry on top was at the end of the meal the manager came over after she heard it was our first time there to check on our experience and give us cookies on the house. That’s customer service right there! They are reasonably priced, food is very delicious with cleaner options, and the customer service is excellent. Highly recommend & will be back!

Great Bowls! Came here with my partner and we are keen on healthy ingredients. Cali has many options and good ingredients in all their options; especially for vegetarians and more! This spot is no longer local. It has become a commercial brand. Food and service used to be fantastic. But like most places you talk about they change for the worse. This is how I would describe the Ciccios restaurant group.

I was way too curious about the Italy bowl not to get it! I’ve never had spaghetti squash, but now I’m definitely going to eat it more often! The lentil bites were very delicious! The perfect bite had a lentil bite, squash, and ricotta. Mmm My son the fries lol (they were good) And my husband liked the tuna crunchy bowl.

It smells so delicious in here, I never mind the wait!
