Great food, good price, great service

I came here because of the reviews. I got a little nervous when I saw it was in a gas station, but decided I came this far. After walking in and being greeted from the lady at the register and smelling the food, I knew I made a good choice. I got the Keto burrito and while not healthy, it had everything you could want from a burrito and was delicious. I am here next week for work and I will for sure be back here for more! A diamond in the rough.

Great place for Mexican food, the menu can be overwhelming, but the best things to get here are the papa nachos, Carne asada burrito, and the burgers. They house make the sauces and the prices are very reasonable for the amount they give you. The gas station sucks and the good ratings from Calibomb are making the gas station look good. The Gas station sucks6 don't list prices, and they had a credit card fee but changed their minds and took it down. Only pay cash if you buy something from the Valero.

3rd time trying this place out . There food is always A1 I love this place I'll definitely return very soon. & I would recommend this place to people.

This was a nice place in the owner of the restaurant was very pleasant. She made the food fresh and brought it out to your table which is a step above most taquerias in the Houston area. It was a nice find after waiting an hour at the Harris County tax office.

Just walked out the door. It's in a Gas station but don't let that fool you. It's nice and clean and the lady taking the orders was very nice a didn't mind telling you how it goes. Its like going to 5 guys but better prices. Large amount of fries very 🔥 crispy outside and soft inside and they are not thin . The Burger is amazing. I got the Astro. This is a huge burger 🍔. Bacon, jalapeno, cheese & barbecue sauce and handmade patty. Basically it's better than five guys and no soggy burger. It's a old timey country burger. You'll love it.🔥the combo of burger and fries cost me 11.00 best money I have spent on food in a minute.

The husband and wife team that run the kitchen churn out consistent, delicious, and extremely reasonably priced food day-in and day-out. I go at least once a week after work, and sometimes more because I seriously love them so much. If you're from California, you will know how authentic this cali-style Mexican and American food is. If you're curious to try an alternative to Tex-Mex, then look no further. The portion-for-price ratio here is truly unbeatable. They even cater! Calibomb catered my family Christmas Eve party, even coming in to the kitchen on a Sunday (their day off) to complete the order for me. The best part? My picky family, where no one can ever agree on what to eat, LOVED the food and everyone took tons of leftovers home. Much love to you Calibombnia!

Good SoCal style food! Flavorful, affordable and the staff is friendly. This reminds me of Tams, Santanas or Alberto’s.

Finally a taste of home. I’m from California home of real Mexican food. Carne asada, wet burritos, Cali burritos, carne asada fries. So happy I found this place.

I know y’all might think it’s weird but I put ranch on this burrito and the salsa it is amazing! I also want to say the lady that work there is very sweet and friendly another reason why I continue to come back. By now she already knows my order. :) I will also say that the hot Cheetos burrito is amazing as well! This is literally my go to place to have breakfast and even dinner. The quesadilla I’ve also gotten from here and the keto breakfast. The portion of the food is just amazing. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been here because it is awesome defiantly recommend!

I guess I was stuck on gas station, but let me tell you this place is amazing...and they have Keto options🤤Great customer service and even better food! I wanted something more appealing than the nasty fast food restaurants and decided to try this place. I had the chicken quesadillas and Im blown away. They are seasoned so well and the sauce😍...it is sooo hard for me to find food that compares to South Houston but Northsiders....this right here...clean like we like...but with the taste of the food trucks/restaurants off Westhiemer. Thank you Lord for this hit!💜

Only giving 4 stars because the tables weren't clean BUT the food was good. The asada meat is seasoned well and the tortilla was cooked to perfection.

We’re from California and we miss the food. Came here and wow delicious. The burgers remind me of a Jim’s Burger! The Asada Fries amazing and wet burrito bomb! But wish they still had the zucchini fries and Pastrami sandwich! Definitely coming back just wish it wasn’t a 40 minute drive! Read some other reviews that gave one star, dont know what they are talking about, they’re used to Tex Mex which is not real Mexican food. And if you’re diabetic what the heck are you eating at a fast food place, hello!

Located inside the Valero, this place gives good filling food at value prices from breakfast sandwiches to loaded fries the selection is vast and varying. I come here when I need some good food but not a lot of money on me until the next payday.

Ordered Uber Eats from here, got 1 of all their popular items and IT WAS AMAZING! the quantity you get for the price is worth it especially when you're on Keto and the quality is top notch. Being on keto you're very limited to what places you can go "out to eat" and this place has made it easier. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for those on the keto diet or for those that want a delicious low carb meal.
