Friendly & fast staff. The Pebbles Beach & Apple Jacks Matcha are good, so is the avocado toast & The Monroe. Only thing I’d suggest is that they pay more attention to online order times. I put my pick up time almost an hour in advance while commuting there and when I got there, it seems like my drink was made when they got the order as the ice was all melted and the drink was no longer cold. Kind of defeats the purpose of the convenience of ordering ahead but giving them another chance next time.

Small sign outside it took time to find it. Inside is beautiful, big, cosy and busy.Very happy group of employees. Excellent work environment. 👌💕

California Cold Co. has been my go-to place for coffee and a good time pretty much everyday over the last several months. I was there on Saturday when the new Fall menu released, and while it was crowded, the staff were highly patient and working their best to accommodate to each and every customer and serve the best drinks. I truly cannot recommend California Cold Co. enough, their service, product, and atmosphere does not compare to anywhere else.

TL;DR --- Make sure you mix your drink. It's not always made consistently. Downgraded review --- I came back today and ordered another hot caramel craft drink, and I was disappointed. I ordered my drink and took it to go. As I was driving, I noticed that I couldn't for the life of me taste any caramel. I could barely taste any hint of sweetness at all. I shrugged my shoulders and just enjoyed the coffee itself. Once I drank about 80%, I got this burst of caramel which was over-powering and unpleasant. I think that whoever made my drink added the ingredients, but didn't mix it properly. Original review ---- I really enjoyed my caramel craft drink. Very nice people. My chocolate croissant was cold. Next time, when they ask me if I want it warmed up, I'll listen to their suggestion. Very clean seating areas. Overall, a nice place to enjoy some quality coffee.

Wow, ive been meaning to try this place ans they did not disappoint. My cold brew tasted great and I'm usually not into cold brews. I got the hummus toast and it was great! Two slices of toast cut in half and it was very filling. I'll definitely be going again!

Their specialty drinks are as inventive as they are diverse, making each visit a little adventure in flavor. I’m partial to their La Holla, while my wife has a soft spot for the Big Bear—a hidden gem not featured on the regular menu but definitely worth asking for. Each coffee boasts its own distinct character, reflecting a commendable effort to avoid flavor redundancy. That said, while the coffee creations are impressive, the beans themselves are not up to par. It's perplexing that a place known for its stellar beverages would stock such lackluster beans. The lack of airtight packaging, absence of roast dates, and the resulting flat, uninspired taste left me quite disheartened. I purchased two bags, only to abandon one and toss the other—a first for me. Here’s hoping they address these issues and elevate their bean game to match the quality of their drinks.

Love this place, I wish we had one closer to Manasquan. I’ll go 30 minutes out of my way for a coffee and breakfast every now and then. I ordered the La Jolla coffee with oat milk - absolutely delicious! The avocado toast was the best breakfast AVtoast I’ve ever had. I love the fact that the toast wasn’t too thick, it was crispy and it was seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of spices, spicy honey and avocado. The staff was super friendly and quick to serve the food. I love the atmosphere. It’s super chill and inviting.

Their coffees never miss! They’re all so good and always made consistently. I only took off a star because their pop tarts are so dry it was inedible and the Nutella was only in the very center (still super dry). We threw it out lol. And their danishes need a bigger circle or jam not so much bread. I wish they had better pastries bc I would be getting them every time! I still have to try their food but I’m sure it will be great cuz the menu looks good :)

It's a great coffee place. People working in the caffe were very welcoming and I had cappuccino with monroe toast. It was so fresh and delicious. I will be going to this place more often.

Found another gem! Not only do they serve amazing coffee. Coffee is way way better than Starbucks. Highly recommend! Need more of these coffee places around.

My husband and I love this place!! We worked with the owner Sam to cater coffee and speciality drinks for our wedding in 2022. She went above and beyond for us. I only have nice things to say about California Coffee Co. Amazing coffee, drinks, candles, etc! My favorite drink is the Pumpkin La Jolla and my husband loves the Lavender Lemonade. 1000000/10 for this place!

Had a Kona house blend drip coffee. The coffee was very good. I wish they had another choice such as a single origin coffee . They have a nice selection of beans for sale. A specialty coffee house should have more choices than just a house blend .

Use to be one of my top cold brew spots. I drink my coffee black and have had great experiences here. Once they started opening new location the Manalapan cold brew and seasonal cold coffees went down hill and became extremely watered down.

Cute and welcoming atmosphere. Great variety of items. My one recommendation is to please keep the straws wrapped! So many people touch all of them unintentionally. Even though the store is clean, there are many particles in the air!

Awesome atmosphere, and staff...Coffee is the best..hopefully they open one near me so i dont have to travel 25 minutes...but worth it.

Love this cute woman owned coffee shop in Englishtown! Tastes better than Starbucks with the added benefit of supporting a local shop. The Newport is my go to with oatmilk and sweet cold foam and they never miss. I’m a slow coffee drinker and my drink tastes good even after an hour with the regular ice cubes. It doesn’t taste watered down. I mostly do a mobile order as I leave my house and my coffee is always ready for me when I arrive. I love that I don’t have to wait especially when they get so busy.

Been here before for coffee which is good. They messed up my order and I didn't realize till after a few sips. I alerted them to that and refused to make another or make it right because I had already drank a good amount. Starbucks would not refuse. Pastries are mediocre at best. Make sure u know what is in every drink u order. A bit pricey and parking lot has a lot to be desired. Very tight spots hard to get in and out.

Love the seasonal lattes, especially fall they have the Big Bear.

baked goods are mediocre at best and ridiculously overpriced, plain cold brew is fine but nothing special, and the atmosphere here seems to exude a style over substance ethos where the actual quality of the food is second to the the stores perception as an ‘experience.’ Slideshows of professional photos of their products flash across the screen as I sit here, dumbfounded that I just paid $16 for a websters dictionary ‘mid’ breakfast.

Popped in on a whim and will definitely be back. Great ambiance, and friendly service that adjusted my order to make it less sweet (Monterey Bay with coconut milk SUPER tasty). Low tables and couches if you want to sit and chat. High tops that I converted into a perfect standing desk with my Moft sit-stand for some quick work on the free Wi-Fi. Several others doing work, a retired couple out for late breakfast, some older gents hanging out, a few ladies out for some girl time. A little something for everyone, even a bear shaped couch outside and tables for the warmer weather. Wish I didn't live so far away, I'd come here over Rook any day! Cute knickknacks for sale and wonderful Christmas decorations, mixing Cali charm with the Jersey cold! I was in a rush for work and forgot to tip the excellent service, so I'm writing this honest and positive review instead. Vegetarian options: I don't think there's a single non-vegetarian option. Several vegan options, but some with butter and cheese. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, milk alternatives, and an accommodating staff. Parking: Big parking lot for the strip mall with legacy tenants Musicians Workshop that's been there for the 25 years we've been in the area, so probably a good landlord. Kid-friendliness: Kids will enjoy it for sure. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or restrictions for access.

I LOVE how unique their coffee flavors are! Everything from their regular menu to their seasonal! Even their bakery items are just as delicious as the lattes. I even love how they offer the "coffee cubes" instead of regular ice cubes that way your coffee doesn't get ruined! Love this place!

Please fix the guest WiFi. I only go here to work and everytime im there, the WiFi is crashing or slow.

This is the best coffee shop in jersey. It’s 40 minutes away from me and sometimes I drive 3 days in a row for there coffee. Everything on the menu is unique, they can individualize it for you as well. I love that the flavors are never too overpowering! Baristas are nice and welcoming. Also love that it’s women owned!

I love this coffee shop! I tried it for the first time today and got the strawberry shortcake latte and it was amazing! The employees were all so sweet and the vibe of the shop is great. Wish it wasn’t so far away!

I'm not from the area but I was glad to have come across this coffee shop, I was very satisfied with my Monterey iced latte and look forward to trying their other flavors in the future. I also loved the option to have dark coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice, which totally helped to maintain the taste of the espresso to the last sip. The place itself has a great vibe and seating areas with multiple regular and high top tables along with a few super comfy couches. I looked forward to my next visit (hopefully soon).

The ice cubes are made out of coffee ! Your drink doesn’t dilute when they melt! Brilliant!

I was never a coffee lover until I tried this spot. Absolutely delicious flavors that you can’t find anywhere else. Great lounge area with a chill vibe. I moved to Hoboken, yet I still find myself making the trip to this place. Complete day maker, just wish there were more locations!

Make sure to only order coffee here, NEVER food. I ordered food here 3 separate times. I kid you not, EVERY time I ordered food, hair was found in my sandwich. That’s absolutely nasty as can be.

Freaking LOVE this place. Great place to work if you don’t have to be on too many phone calls (sometimes it can be loud otherwise). So clean, great ambiance, avocado toast is super good, actually everything on the menu is. My family loves the Big Bear coffee but here is mine if you’re struggling to pick one: Monterey Bay, decaf with oat milk, dark ice coffee cubes, less sweet, and less ice. The coconut flavor in the Monterey bay is SOOO GOOD. Anyways- love this place. Keep it a secret!

I love this place! The ambience and coffee are great. I go to them every few weeks to refill my growler for $20 with the Kona roast. It’s tastes delicious. They also do cute events for their anniversary and had cute merch. It is a little out of the way for me but it’s my first recommendation to anyone who wants coffee!

Went here twice over the weekend to get some work done. I love the vibe and the decor. I tried both cold brews with the coffee cubes (love when shops have them) and I thought the light roast cold brew was better. Great food options the avocado toast was delish. Will be back if ever in the area !

We have been looking for a local coffee spot for a while now. We love going all over the tri state area and finding new coffee shops after a beach day or hike but haven't found a local one that we liked. After trying California Cold Co, I think we just did! Best latte I have ever had and as I stated, we try lots of different coffees. They were smooth and delicious. Highly reccomend the Slo Night. The vibe of the place is nice and friendly. Looks like a place that would be great to get coffee and meet up with friends. We will be back and have already reccomended to friends and family.

Literally one of the best cups of coffee I had in a really long time! Do you like good coffee? Because the La Jolla is delicious and you should get one! I wish I lived closer so I could get it more often!

As a former Californian I approve! Lol loved that it’s a woman owned business. Coffee, vibes, and avocado toast are on point! Unique and don’t see often enough is you can add dark coffee ICE CUBES to your iced drink to prevent watering down your coffee. Tasty and worth the extra $.75 cents! I did try one of their signature drinks: Alcatraz. It was tasty and thanks to the staff for the modifications in sweetness. I love the classic oatmilk latte - smooth and tasty! They do have plenty of indoor and some outdoor seating. There’s 2 parking spots dedicated for the grab and go if you ordered online or just need to order & leave. Just a coffee would be less than $10. Add food for one person + coffee closer to $15 if you need oatmilk subs like I do.
