This was the best restaurant in the county. Until it unexpectedly permanently closed in early February 2024. In the hope that the owners of Cang's are reading this, I ask that you please reopen in a new location if at all possible. You are missed.

Wow! I have never had sushi as good as I had here. Our service was amazing. We even had Sake bombs. Recommend to sushi lovers.

I love Asian food, and especially Sushi at CANG’S. It’s my go to place almost weekly!

Great place for Asian cuisine with decent prices to match. Great for date night, hanging out with some friends, and two bars, a sushi bar and a drink bar to lounge by one's lonesome if warranted. Definitely recommend! (Try the Udon noodles!)

Walked in with my mother and sister, the bell on the door rang announcing us as customers. Stood waiting, looked at the menu they have up front. Worker was just sitting at the bar on her phone ignoring us. Ten minutes passed, still no service. Walked out and left. Not the first time this has happened!

Prices reasonable and food was good. Waitress very friendly and accommodating. We went as a large group. Don't know how she kept up. I'd go back.

Wonderful service. My husband forgot his Bluetooth headset when we left. The hostess had it and met me at the door when I went back. Food was great.

Slim pickings’ in the Lake Placid area and this place is one of them! Bento boxes aren’t a bad deal. Two for one drinks are always a win. Our last visit left a strange taste on the palate, however our waitress was very nice. The food wasn’t super great (aside from the bento box, the little one loved it), so we just told the waitress that we didn’t like the dish, and she said she had to tell the manager. The manager comes over and says - “This is how we make it, you can’t just try something and get it for free. We will take half off, but next time you come in, you must pay for all the meals”… Meanwhile, we didn’t say that we wanted anything for free (and didn’t expect anything for free either). We just told the waitress that we didn’t like the food after she asked us how we were doing. It’s not an ideal situation to handle, but there are a lot of other ways to handle it. I’ve been in the industry for almost twenty years. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend the “Wor Glazed Ginger”. It was a garlic soy sauce veggie (which is always nice) but the protein just had a little hoisin sauce and a handful of pickled ginger on top of the whole thing. I love pickled ginger, but this doesn’t come together. There was no glaze and the protein (chicken in this case) was very bland.
