Schooni's is absolutely a must try if you are ever in the lake placid area. Casual, clean, affordable, and tasty. I had the philly cheese steak ( a must try). Finally, the service was out of this world, I couldn't ask for a better experience. Ask for Brooke, she's attentive, knowledgeable, fast and genuinely seems like she cares about her patrons. You won't be disappointed.

First time. Oil was old. My husband and I both got sick. Told the server and the cook came to take fries and chips but couldn't care less. Second time, meatball sub was old and skimpy. Fries cold. Oil still old. Never again.

Super cute spot, great variety and quality food, amazing and friendly staff especially Jamie, the owner. She was super accommodating and kind, laughing with all her customers and helping her workers! Love to see it :)

My family has eaten schooni's for over a decade, and it is under new management now... food was not good this time. I'm hoping this is because they are still trying to figure everything out and correct mistakes. So this is why I put 3 stars instead of 5 stars. Our order was accurate, but taste was off.

I'm sorry I can't rate this restaurant better. The staff was very friendly and nice. Unfortunately, the pizza I got was subpar. It reminded me of a Chuck E Cheese's pizza, not an Italian restaurant pizza. The other food might be good, I only ordered the pizza. I would not recommend it.

Gave this another lunch try since new owners have taken over. Three of us ordered different things to try. On scales of 1-10. Tuna Melt rated 7. Mistake was quickly corrected but somewhat fishy smell to sandwich. Philly cheesesteak 6” rated 6. Good but not great. Chicken parmigiana sub 8” rated 5. 2” of the bread had nothing on it so I was left wondering what the 6” versions were like. It was just ok. Sweet potato fries were good. Service was good atmosphere meh. We’ll go back and try again sometime down the road. #stevensleavin

Met the newest owners, not sure how long she's been there, but the place is clean and quaint. Love the food, and Michael does a great job in the kitchen. Chicken was cooked to perfection.

Food is not the same..chicken wings were freezer burnt, calzone did not have much filling. Garlic knots were nit cooked, raw dough inside. Very pricey.

Wonderful customer service. Huge menu choices . Great prices. Fun family meal. Hats off to the chef who made that marinara... yummy.

Loved my all the way pizza. It was perfect for me...like thin crust, awesome sauce and toppings. I was only able to eat three pieces and took the rest home. Waitress was pleasant and attentive. My first time here and I'll be back. Oh by the way, restroom was clean.....important to me.

Awful pizza, undercooked crust, luke warm at best. It tasted similar to the name brand pizza out of a box you make at home. We ordered two pizzas and they both came out this way, which I don’t understand why this place was very busy for a Monday afternoon. The wings were good some of the best I had, just wished it transferred to the pizza part of it. Waitress was very attentive for being only one or two servers in the whole place. Another ding was they were out of almost every wine wife and mother in law wanted, Don’t think I be back if I ever visit lake placid again

The food and service are outstanding. My husband got veal parm and spaghetti and salad. I got a fish sandwich with cole slaw and sweet potato fries.

It has just the right amount of sauce, not to much sauce, just the right amount to taste the flavors of your toppings! Have gotten this Pizza several times. The calozone is great also. Everything is reasonable priced. Wonderful atmosphere to go along with your dining experience!

We had a great time here. Pizza and wings!! We shared an All the Way Pizza and garlic Parmesan wings. Both excellent! Looking forward to going at dinner time to try the lasagna!

Great place to come and eat when your driving from winter haven or if your local at lake placid, fl is a place to come and visit.

Great Place, great service, great food. Place was full during lunch hour but service was fast and food was fresh and great tasting.

Addictive Italian dishes like the burger melt sandwich. And the chicken parmigiana spaghetti with knot bread rolls! Nice and warm from oven. Couldn't finish it all, got too full! Would have loved to try desserts next time.

Lunch was amazing and the service was great. The lady there was doing every single table and she was amazingly efficient. The fried pickles were amazing! We also had pizza, meatball sub, parmesan chicken sub, Cuban and tuna melt and all was great!

The food and service were outstanding! We were on the train today (Sunday) and when we arrived in Lake Placid we found almost everything closed. However, not only was Schoonies open, but they opened on this Sunday specifically to serve us train riders!! Says a lot about their servant hearts ❤️ The owners circled the restaurant several times to make sure everybody was happy. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We came in on a train tour to a town pretty much closed for business on Sunday. This pizza place was one of two restaurants who opened up just for the tour company and they did an EXCELLENT job accomodating the large crowd. The food quality might have suffered a little, but I will definitely come back! Thank you so much for your AMAZING HOSPITALITY!!!
