Consistently reliable. If it's on the menu, then you can be sure these folks will do it well. We have been coming here for many years and never have been disappointed. Our two most recent visits were a dinner and a lunch. Tried the North Atlantic haddock for the first time for dinner and it was excellent. It was baked with a bread crumb topping. Top quality. Other recent samplings were the chicken croissant, blackened mahi wrap and tavern salad with blackened shrimp. The ingredients are fresh, there is care in the preparation and everything is flavorful and plentiful. The tavern salad is truly special, with artichokes, olives, cucumber, roasted red peppers, feta and topped with onion straws.

Great spot for lunch and beverage. TV's with sport on but not loud. I don't get to visit very often anymore. The specials are not regular menu items, so they are special.

Great neighborhood tavern. Always lively and fun. Staff is kind and they work really hard. My husband had a craving for wings so stopped for a quick pick up.

Tuesday night is Irish night at Carsons Tavern. The Shepherds pie and Fish n chips were delicious. The chocolate disaster cake is scrumptious!! Moist and light. Also had a great Cappuccino. Music was good but not as many Irish songs were played. We would definitely return for the food.

The staff are always very friendly and never rush us out, even when really busy. The food is constantly good. Highly recommend. They have live music too.

This was my first time coming here, and honestly I didn’t really know that to expect. The service was ok and the over all atmosphere of the restaurant was also ok. Nothing here was really exciting at all. The food was also not the best.

This place was phenomenal!! We needed a place to celebrate our new house with our realtor and BOOM we nailed it! Hidden gem in a small plaza that is worthy of a front row establishment!!! Our food was crazy good and the hostess and our waitress and her trainee couldn’t have been better!!! We can’t wait to head back!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻BRAVO!!

First time there we ordered the Brie appetizer. Delicious. And the steak and blue cheese salad loved it. Service is prompt and personal. The only thing was the noise we ate outside and a lot quieter than inside but still tending to be noisy with loud talkers

Our go-to for burgers, wings and beer. The atmosphere reminds me of my favorite tavern back home. Usually always busy but we luck out and find seats in the bar most of the time.

Everything was good! I would go back. I'm a local and can't believe that I never went here.

Worst customer service. The manager was rude to me and to some other people as well. Never any parking spots open during the lunch hours. Overall a horrible place to go and Wait forever on mediocre food. People end up sitting for over 2 hours there and it's already a small restaurant and the restaurant that sits at the corner way better staff and management and way better food for its price recommend going there before you go here.

Stopped by last night after a late evening at the hospital. The place was packed. We sat inside and the noise was awfully loud. We had a variety of food. The ribs were good but the chicken fingers were simply okay. Our waitress was good but the noise made it hard to talk.

Wings, burgers, and fries are consistently good. Have a good selection of beers on tap, hooray smithwicks!

The food here is excellent. This is the second time we've been here. The first time I had the shrimp scampy and can honestly say it was the best scampy I've ever had. This time we were on our way to a movie so I just got the Burbon Bacon Cheese Burger and that was excellent too. The drinks are made correctly with a nice pour. We will be coming back a lot more as we now live in downtown Stuart.

Went in for my first time from hearing good things about it.. And it didn't disappoint

A two minute car ride, good food, drinks, and an old-world tavern vibe. Love the non-touristy atmosphere. There's an outdoor space, but I prefer the warm tavern lights.

Meal was delicious, prime rib was done perfectly, staff was cheerful & attentive, had a great time!

Went here on a Saturday night and loved it! I had a steak salad and it was huge, perfect size for a dinner. We sat outside and the fires were warm and tables were spacious for 6. Service was great too, we had a lovely server and she was very attentive as well as friendly. Overall we had a lovely dinner and the price was reasonable for dishes. The steak was good and cooked perfectly as I asked (medium). Would come again!

Lunch break with family. Promptly seated. Service was attentive. The buffalo chicken mac/cheese special was the winner - full of flavor and sufficient spice - made the recommendation a full five stars.

Yummy! Specials were fantastic. Our server was the best! She made sure we were taken care of all the way from moving from outside to in, making sure we got to watch our team play football and even waiting for our late guest.

Don’t understand what happened here. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. But last the few times I’ve came the service was super slow and the food was sub par. They used to make the best Ruben in town. Today I had to choke down what I could of the super chewy, hard to eat, fatty corn beef. And it’s the second time it’s happened. Something changed. I’m going to give them 1 more shot, hoping the last 2 times was a fluke. I want nothing more then for this to be a five star joint. But sometimes you just need to let ‘em know when it isn’t right. I hope next time it’s a 5 star.

Dinner and a show 😋. Black and Blue burger with sautéed broccoli. The show was Bombshell "who rocked the house". Not a lot of room for dancing, but that doesn't stop me, I've learned to dance in small spaces. The burger was delicious and no, I usually won't eat the bun.

Typical bar type food. If you go here for dinner sit outside if there are any tables available. The music is excessively loud for dinner time. So if for any reason you don't want to talk to your dinner guests then sit inside. Service is not the best but it's a bar.

Best real draft Guiness in Martin County. A few other places have Guiness on tap but I find it sometimes has a sour flavor leaving me with a headache or acidic stomach. Carson's always has it fresh and flowing. Atmosphere is great. Always meet friendly people. Classic hearty food is always delicious, too Additional parking is in the rear of the building.

The quintessential pub, with comfortable restaurant seating indoors and outdoors + bar, but SURPRISE: the food is truly OUTSTANDING! Daily special thin crust pizza with cauliflower, spinach and balsamic glaze was a flavor 10 (only too small at 10" diameter). Hamburgers made from maybe a half pound of premium beef and shaped by hand (no frozen Sysco patties here) and cooked exactly to order (med-rare our choice). Plenty of TV screens to catch our very exciting Florida hockey, b-ball and baseball. Waitstaff cordial and food prompt. Another surprise: Smithwicks on tap!

Shepard pie was good but was mostly potatoes. It could have had a little more beaf and vegetables. Onion soup has a very unique taste. Very good.

Great friendly Irish style pub/restaurant. Always good food and fun neighborly environment. There’s even is a musician at times. The only drawback (which is still a positive) is that Carson’s is so popular and crowded you may have a short wait time for a table. My favorite are the burgers and the chicken pot pie!!! If you ever get hungry or thirsty then Carsons is your one stop shop. Pretty people with good attitude serve it up. They remember what I like how I like it. Enough said.

Has late night menu that starts at (10:00 pm) I called at (9:48) to be told they were only serving there late night menu, I guess you need to fix your clocks.

Very long wait because people would eat and sit there for hours drinking one beer while tens of people are waiting to eat, awful long wait to eat 3 hour wait to get in 30 minutes to order and eat.

Fantastic in every way. My wife rates the veggie burger wrap as one of the best things she ever tasted and my fish and chips was absolute perfection. We will be coming back!

There were 15 of us. 1 waitress and she was amazing, food and service excellent!! She even did the split billing perfectly. Such a pleasant surprise all the way.

We are only visitors to this town of Stuart in Florida and this is her favorite eating hole as it has the best food the best Guinness every time we are here it is packed and you have to wait for about half an hour to get a table but it is all worth it!

This place looks amazing, unfortunately we came on a Wednesday and at a bad time. After waiting standing for ten minutes and no hostess even though everyone pass right by us, we were told the waiting time has over 30 min. At this point my wife was done. Maybe next time.

Long wait, understaffed, and the food was poor. Wings were very dry and the fish sandwich stank. Decor was nice, but won't be going back

We try to stop at Carson's every time we come to Stuart. It is a cozy and fun place to people watch. This time we were disappointed in the food. My husband usually looks forward to their wings but they just weren't cooked the same this time. The Beach Bread was delicious but came out after our meals and not as an appetizer. We were still hungry so we ordered the steak/cheese dip which in the past had been delicious. This time we found the steak chewy and the dip rather tasteless. We will be back but we hope the food is better! Service at the bar was great and attentive.

Best steak fries in the USA !!!! Great food , fab fish items , never had a meal that was less than perfect. Live in Miami , only get to Stuart a few times a year , but Carson's is the main pit stop....never fails.

It was a great place to visit for a fun little Saturday night. The band was a fantastic compliment to the amazing food. It was so hard to choose what to order because everything sounded so good. We ended up ordering the baked stuffed portobello, the pub style Mac and cheese, the Bahamian seafood chowder, and the prime rib. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try some of the items we didn't get to try this time around.
