Our waiter Omar and our previous waiter Mario are both outstanding in making sure everything was to our liking as well as entertaining Service was excellent and creative. Both have great personalities as well as very accommodating. The restaurant staff are all very welcoming.

First time for dinner and won’t be the last. We were able to sit outside because there was a nice sea breeze. The food was delicious. The fresh bread was amazing. Caesar salad had a nice dressing and served with shaved parmiagana. We had the Orechiette with Rapini and sausage and the chicken parmiagiana. Both were excellent. Had to skip dessert because we were full. A special thanks to our waiter Raymond. He made us feel very welcomed right from when we arrived and helped with suggestions. Thank you Raymond!

My wife and I like to believe we are well versed with Italian cuisine. Located in the Ocean Manor Beach Resort, Casa Calabria is serving authentic meals in an intimate, yet lively atmosphere (live music when we dined on a Thursday evening). It was the perfect reminder of a home cooked meal I would enjoy with family during a traditional Sunday dinner. Cold ice water and warm bread were brought to our table. Warm bread is served with their sauce on the side, or if preferred, the table is set with salt, pepper and olive oil. The sauce was good, strong grated cheese flavor that some may not enjoy, but my wife and I enjoyed the sauce very much. Arancini and fried calamari were shared as appetizers. The sicilian arancini were generous in size, cooked to perfection and finished with a dusting of grated cheese. Please keep in mind I've been spoiled with rice balls/arancini all my life, so the sicilian arancini served by Casa Calabria did not take my #1 spot of all time, but were executed very well. The fried calamari were fried to a perfect tender crisp and a nice portion for two to share. I am someone who enjoys eating the tentacles, so a round of applause to show my appreciation to Casa Calabria for including in their calamari. Some could have said our calamari was a bit oversalted, but a squirt of lemon and it brings it home. I would very confidently put this calamari up against any calamari in Florida. I am still trying to convince my wife the calamari was better than the other Italian establishment we dined at earlier in the week. My wife and I both ordered the chicken parm entree which is accompanied with penne pasta. My ricotta obsessed wife asked for some on the side and Casa Calabria did not charge an additional fee. The little things go a long way with us and it's nice knowing this establishment isn't looking to nickle and dime. Chicken Parm dinners were excellent and could feed a small village. The monsoon of a cutlet was ridiculously crispy, and the cheese was golden brown. Dessert was a long shot after the feast we had just devoured. However, Mario would not allow us to go home without a proper ending to our meal, so he brought out his creativity and whipped us up something special. My wife and I each had our own small cannoli to enjoy, and a traditional ricotta cheesecake to share. Cannolis are filled to order, shells remained light & crispy. The ricotta cheesecake was dense and I was indifferent on the flavor profile. Mario is an exceptional server. I appreciate the attention to detail from Mario and the other gentleman who always kept our glasses full with cold water and table cleaned. He patiently waited for us to finish our appetizers before placing the order for our entrees. There was no sense of being rushed or unwelcomed. From beginning to end, he was true to himself and had a genuine personality. My wife and I were getting a little tired of the fictitious flairs and circus antics from other establishments, so Mario's originality was refreshing. I hope Mario enjoyed our presence just as much as we enjoyed his. Mario - thank you for the shared conversations and laughs. You've become a memorable moment and one of the best servers we've experienced in all of dining.

My family was visiting from out of town and we decided to stay at Ocean Manor. Dinner at Casa Calabria was amazing. Raymond gave excellent service, went above and beyond. We will definitely return

I can not say enough about the phenomenal food here; which is only rivaled by the exceptional customer service! Tonight my husband and I enjoyed a lobster ravioli, *chefs special* Shrimp Linguine and two chocolate drizzled cannoli's. Everything was prepared to perfection! Omar was our server, and if you have the means to do so, bring ALOT of extra cash to tip him! He is worth every single dollar in your wallet, I promise! We felt at home here and will certainly be back the next time we’re in Ft. Lauderdale.

The restaurant is located inside a hotel. Food was very good, service excellent. We sat in a room with a sea view. We had salads, ricotta gnocchi, stuffed peppers and a bottle of an exquisite Pinot noir.

Casa Calabria did not disappoint! Truly one of the best experiences during our entire Ft. Lauderdale stay. Our waiter Mauro was awesome. He answered all of our questions and helped when we asked for recommendations (which were excellent)!! We had the meat/cheese platter. Thanks to Mauro the flavor selections were amazing. We also had meatballs and they were some of the best we’ve ever had. The music was a little loud but we were able to adjust to it. To end the night, Mauro brought us a dessert plate of tiramisu. Him and my husband were both celebrating their birthday! We can’t wait to visit again. Thanks for the great experience!

We ate here at Casa Calabria several times during our stay, both this year and the last few years. The food is genuinely homemade Italian cuisine and will NOT disappoint. The menu is glorious and the servers are determined to make it a wonderful experience for their clientele. The entertainment contributes to the atmosphere, adding a delightful dimension to this phenomenal experience. Sincere thanks to the cook, Salvatore Oriente, who made the lasagna to fulfill my personal request. Thank you also to waiter, Mauro, who took it upon himself to ask Salvatore on my behalf. Raymond, our server was so down to earth and attentive. He recommend the meatballs as an appetizer and my husband was skeptical because HE has the best meatballs...welp, Raymond, the meatballs were impeccable! Our dinner- veal chop, that I requested as parmigiana was insane!!! Delicious. The plate was literally bigger than my rear. My husband's gnocci was good, not the best but good. The marinara is EXCELLENT, I must add.🤌 All in all, amazing service, great atmosphere and delicious food!! Thank you!! We will be back.

Took my girlfriend for her birthday. We had the octopus and meatballs plus a great bottle of wine. Service was great with Mario and staff. Atmosphere was great everybody dancing. Great DJ and p oh Ano player that even did Bocelli well. They keep the crowd happy and engaged. Check it out'

To whom it May concern! I tell you that my visit with my wonderful son to Casa Calabria cannot be expressed in words (too many humans, talented, empathetic and the food too exquisite). I tell you that I was looking for a place to eat and something to drink. I was having a very sad moment!! You will say, but what does it matter to us? Will I tell you why it should matter? Because people forget empathy in difficult times. And without knowing who the gentleman Salvatore Oriente (chef) was, he let us into the spectacular restaurant and the waitress Mauro is Wow!!! ♥️

Meh. First the waiter suggests we get our order in because some big party has them a bit backed up. Fine. Then dinners come out before we're finished with appetizers. The waiter blames the chef who he says it's his first day. Really? Can you blame anyone on their first day? He says he wrote on the ticket to hold until he gives the ok, so why ask to take the order early to just complicate things. Lollipop lamb chops were ordered rare to medium rare, they came out medium to well done and quite salty. The gnocchi was to have gorgonzola on the side, he had it mixed in. Not sure why, that's not what he offered. It took until the end of dinner to finally clear the table of plates no longer in use. Apparently no one wants to do the real work. Dinner should have been awesome for that kind of $$$.

Had dinner here last night for the upteenth time and we intially were bumed out as we went for the Sinatra tuesday live performance. Anyway it was cancelled because the bar was booked for a party. After getting seated things started to take a turn for the better when we were lucky enough to have Mauro as our waiter, Mauro suggested every component of the meal from wine to dessert and it was one of my top experiences in this restaurant . Thank for such a great night and turning our disappointment around.

Our server was Omar, his service was incredible and he was very attentive! Me and my boyfriend got an appetizer, 3 entrees and two deserts to try. For our appetizer we got the burrata, it was sooo delicious. For our entrees we got the almond crusted salmon, chicken parmesan, and truffle fettuccini Alfredo. All three were delicious! For the dessert we got the chocolate cake which was surprisingly airy and light, almost like a ferrara rocher flavor!! We also got the flan, was so good as well!! 10/10 experience and our waiter made it a memorable one! Will definitely be coming back

We walked into the Ocean Manor Hotel on the Galt mile Ft. Lauderdale and discovered the amazing Casa Calabria restaurant. From start to finish, the food was incredible. We started with grilled octopus, followed by fresh Branzino with a rosemary wine sauce eggplant Parm, and a veal chop. Everything was exceptional. Even better than the food was our server, Omar, who didn’t miss a beat. We ended with a great dessert of tiramisu and fresh stuffed cannolis. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. ---

Our waiter Raymond was exceptional. The best service I’ve ever had from a waiter/waitress in over 20 years of dining. He was attentive, on time and was always checking on us to make sure our dinner experience was going well. He also recommended a red wine that was fabulous.
