Our close friends had their daughters wedding here. Just a beautiful place. Owners were fantastic, all staff were very helpful. The outside and inside space, perfect for a wedding. The food, the music, the bar, all available here which makes wedding planning more simple. Highly recommend.

We had wedding reception here. It was amazing. Food was the best, top quality, great selection. The outdoor fire and covered deck with beautiful views were a nice plus. The staff did a great job serving and clearing tables.

Highly reccomend this venue. These people are fantastic and extremly detail oriented. Beautiful atmosphere and they are working very hard behind the scene to make every little detail absolutely perfect. I was very very impressed with everthing and it turned out to be so much more than i could have ever imagined. I would say there may be a very few that may be as great as this venue...but definately none could be better. So extremly impressed from start to finish!!!!

Celebrations was absolutely amazing and perfect for our wedding! John and Laurie are competent, experienced, and respond quickly and helped make our wedding the spectacular affair it was (our guests and we were thrilled with it). The venue is well designed and beautiful! John puts in so much effort into the landscaping and it clearly shows. The fire pit and the ceremony spot outside (with tent, speakers, and beautiful gazebo and bridges) set against the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes makes it an ideal spot to hold a ceremony. The food was superb (which I think Laurie was in charge of) with a variety of options to make everyone happy. Faith the DJ at celebrations was fantastic. Also our guests especially the children enjoyed the photo booth. Overall our stress was reduced because of how well Celebrations is run and how Laurie and John operate it.

I am so happy that we chose Celebrations Banquet facility for our wedding. Celebrations was the first place we looked, and we looked at a number of other venues in the finger lakes, but we knew that we were going to go with them when we walked out of our first meeting. The landscaping, tent, indoor reception hall, and patio are all beautiful. Our guests had a number of places to go during the wedding if they weren't in the mood for dancing. We had a photobooth and a fire pit that were very popular. The food was also amazing, and the bar was exactly what we needed. John and Laurie do an amazing job with event planning and make the process as easy or involved as you want it to be. We personally were in the middle of two job changes and cross country move while we were planning our wedding and didn't have time to think about details like centerpieces, a DJ, or ceremony decorations. But John and Laurie supplied custom centerpieces for our tables and the grounds are so beautiful we didn't even need flowers for the ceremony. We chose our own ceremony music but John and Laurie offered that as well. We got a ton of compliments on the venue, and the price is completely reasonable. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding.

Attended a friend’s wedding here recently and witnessed a beautiful venue with super professional staff. Came here a day early to rehearse the logistics and it was clear that the staff knew exactly what to expect and give guidance for the bridal party. The day of the event everything worked perfectly and right on time. From the a/v setup to the coordination, timing, food, everything was well thought through.

If you need a place for a wedding, non-profit fundraiser, prom, shower, or just a beautiful event of any kind--Celebrations is the hidden gem you don't want to miss. I work for a non-profit in Ithaca and we have been hosting an annual fundraiser at Celebrations for many years and they absolutely never fail to blow us and our guests away. We typically host a very early morning breakfast that pushes the capacity of their space (over 250 people) and you would never know it! Guests rave about the food and efficiency of the staff. This year we hosted an evening cocktail party event in their gorgeous, and newish remodeled outdoor space--wow, just as amazing. I often say that John & Laurie attend to every detail, even the ones you didn't even know you needed, which is what makes it so special.

Attended a family wedding here today. Everything was beautifully done with so much attention to details and effort to make sure all the guests were having a nice time and getting everything they needed. Also the staff were all so very nice....smiling and helpful. Beautiful venue. Will recommend this to my friends who have children getting married or need a beautiful place for a celebration.

What a wonderful experience! Yesterday we had my daughters baby shower at Celebrations and the experience more than exceeded our expectations. The event planning process with Laurie was efficient and informative with quick feedback turnaround. She made the planning, particularly with COVID concerns, easy offering indoor/outdoor options, adequate spacing and assured safety for our guests. On the morning of the event some of our decorating team arrived a bit earlier than the agreed upon time and John graciously allowed access which provided perfect timing to prepare the space. The bathroom was super clean offered adequate space to change after decorating. We received many compliments from our guests, most who had traveled from out of the area and felt welcomed and free to enjoy the beautifully kept outdoor space and facilities after long drives. They also gave great feedback about the food options, event space set up and decor choices, and exceptional service. The flow of the event was fully supported by staff who consulted with us consistently and went above and beyond to make sure our quests were comfortable and satisfied. We got nothing but positive feedback about the staff and facility from our decorating team and guests and we could not have had a more perfect experience to welcome the new baby. I recommend Celebrations as a place to share and create wonderful family memories.

Our wedding was just a couple weekends ago (10/13/19) and we could not have been happier! We looked at a few places as venue options for our wedding and none could even compare to what Celebrations has to offer. The grounds and facility are absolutely stunning and so well maintained. Both John and Laurie are extremely friendly and welcoming. When we decided to go with Celebrations they were so attentive and really took the time to listen to what we wanted. Both myself and my now Husband are very close to family and we wanted them to be very involved with the process and Celebrations did awesome handling all of us. They schedule strategic planning appointments with you well before your wedding to ensure you capture everything you are looking for. If you need to make a change to something they are SO accommodating. The entire planning process is so easy because they have wedding planning and preparation down to a perfect science. So stress free. We did both our ceremony and reception with celebrations and we even used their add on options: photo booth, photographer, DJ, catering EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. The day of our ceremony was amazing and the staff was great about directing people. It really could not have been any more perfect. I HIGHLY recommend Celebrations to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, stress free, and MAGNIFICENT experience for their special day.

Wonderful place for a wedding & reception

We had our wedding reception here this past weekend and we were so happy we did!! First of all, Laurie was always on the ball and really helped us to plan out everything. She is quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. They also did the majority of decorating for us. They offer so many services including a DJ and photo booth. Our guests really enjoyed the food and the venue in general. We had so many compliments. The grounds and the patio are gorgeous!!! They have done so much work landscaping. Finally, the DJ (Faith) was excellent. She took the majority of our requests and actually played them. This was really important to us and we were so happy about that. The other songs she chose were fun as well. We are so grateful to Laurie and John. Thank you so much for making everything go so smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about anything once we were there, just having fun!! We would not hesitate to recommend this venue.

This was a wonderful experience for our company company holiday party. The food was fantastic and probably some of the best mashed potatoes I've had. the chocolate decadence cake was also fan tastic and very decadent. Drinks were reasonably priced for a place like this and I can't say I have any complaints.

We have an awesome banquet at this facility every Fall for our school. Thanks Celebrations!!!!

GET MARRIED HERE.! Everything I'm about write in the review below is 100% true. This place is amazing! Firstly, you deal directly with the owners, no middle people. They are amazingly nice and very accommodating and when you see how hard they work on your wedding day, you know that kind of dedication and passion is rare. The venue has beautiful grounds, well maintained and hosted a beautiful outdoor fall ceremony for us. The inside of the venue is a perfect banquet hall. The food was top notch, I've never had better food at a wedding. They also make planning your wedding way less stressful, the venue offers photography, DJ, photobooth and catering. Boom, all those huge things done in one venue, and it's all high quality.

We are so happy we chose to host our wedding reception at Celebrations. John and Laurie were very friendly and accommodating throughout the whole planning experience. I had some cultural traditions I wanted as part of the celebration, and they helped us make it happen. They were easy to reach and communicate with whenever we had questions or concerns. The space itself was very well decorated, both with Celebrations décor and Laurie helped put around decorations we brought in ourselves. We got countless compliments from our guests about how friendly the staff was, how good everything looked, and how tasty the food was. Definitely get the salmon for dinner and the bacon wrapped scallops! We also planned our wedding long distance, so having an in-house DJ, catering, and a photo booth made everything so easy and stress-free. There is even a wonderful cake baker a few houses down, Darling Cakes, who delivered and set up for free! The DJ was also wonderful, playing good music and keeping the dance floor packed. We highly recommend using Celebrations!!

Was there for a wedding reception. I don't think it could have been run any better! Everyone involved seemed to be well trained and trying to please. My overall experience tells me, if you can afford it, go for it. Have no idea what the actual cost was, but no corners were cut and they provided an experience to remember.

My groom and I can't say enough about the amazing job done by Laurie, John, DJ Faith, and all the Celebrations staff. Planning meetings and our rehearsal went very well - they walked us through everything and helped us plan things we hadn't even thought of. They did an amazing job decorating the facility for our wedding - I especially loved how they added some of their own decorations. It was wonderful not having to stress about set up, take down, or anything else. All of our guests thought the venue was perfect - nice reception hall, beautiful garden. The food was amazing. I also appreciated the bridal dressing room. During the reception, staff organized and packed up all of our things so me and my bridal party could just load it up and leave instead of spending an hour cleaning up. Very professional, great communication with us throughout the event - they obviously know what they're doing and have it down to an art. Thank you!

We had our wedding here this past August and I can't say enough about what an amazing job Laurie, John and the rest of the staff did. First off it was so beautiful inside, they did a fantastic job setting it up. There was no shortage of anything including apps, food and excellent service. They set up a bar and app station for us down where the pictures were taken with so much food that a few guests thought those were the actual reception apps lol. No apps inside were ever close to being gone, including right before dinner when they cleared them. As soon as they were half empty it seemed someone was always refilling them. Many people told us the bacon wrapped scallops were one of the best apps they've ever had. Dinner was absolutely great as well....prime rib, chicken and salmon were all a big hit with everyone and were all cooked perfectly. Everything else went flawless as well. Everyone kept telling us how great everything was all night and several of them told us that it was the nicest wedding they've ever been to. We went with the photographer and DJ they recommended who were both great as well. I'm not going to even get into how beautiful the grounds are...that could literally have it's own 5 star review. Everyone loved the photo booth too....that thing had people coming and going all night. The huge porch outside was awesome as well since we had perfect weather. Almost forgot to mention how easy everything was to coordinate with them leading up the wedding. Most people I know stressed out way too much planning their weddings but that was not the case at all with celebrations. Again, just a wonderful job with everything. Thank you so much, it could not have possibly been any better!!

Five stars do not do justice to the terrific job performed by Laurie, John, and the entire Celebrations staff! Beginning with our very first meeting almost a year before our wedding, my husband and I were so impressed with Laurie’s depth of knowledge about anything and everything having to do with weddings and receptions. Both Laurie and her husband John made it clear that Celebrations was committed to delivering a wedding ceremony and reception that my husband and I wanted. Every question we asked, every email we sent, and every request we made was answered by Laurie or John almost immediately and positively. Celebrations offers a wide array of options and can provide an amazing experience for any budget. Laurie was a tremendous help when it came to accommodating guests with special dietary requirements, making even dramatic changes without hesitation. Along those same lines, when we requested hors d’oeuvres that were not on their menu, they worked with their chefs to create exactly what we wanted, much to our and our guests delight. My husband and I are from southeastern Pennsylvania and so we were thrilled to find out that Celebrations offered, in addition to catering, a photographer and a DJ. Having these options available to us made planning a destination wedding so much easier and also made our wedding day less stressful. Our photographer knew the best places to take photographs and was so efficient that we were able to enjoy the majority of our cocktail hour. In addition, a few days before our wedding day John told us that this was Celebrations first same-sex wedding ceremony and that he and their photographer Shannon had researched how to photograph same-sex weddings to make sure that we got the best pictures possible. Celebrations’ DJ, Dave, was so easy to work with! He took the list of songs we provided and effortlessly weaved in songs that complimented the overall mood we were trying to create. After the ceremony our guests were taken back to the reception hall while the wedding party stayed down at the ceremony site to take pictures. Laurie and John sent down a bartender with drinks and then Laurie brought down a full complement of hors d’oeuvres so that we wouldn’t miss out on any part of our day. My husband and I could not believe how many of our guests told us that this the best wedding they had ever attended and that the food was the best they had ever tasted at any catered event. These comments were coming from guests in their 50s and 60s who have attended dozens of weddings. After dinner had been served John and members of the Celebrations staff went to each table and asked each of our guests how their meals had been and if they needed anything else. Laurie and John also have extensive experience with the best local florists and bakers, making coordinating flower and cake delivery and setup a breeze. After choosing a florist and baker for our event, it gave us tremendous confidence knowing that they had such positive relationships with the staff at Celebrations. We cannot give Laurie and John enough credit for creating a wonderful wedding experience for my husband and me. We, and our guests, had a fabulous time and have so many great memories from that evening. Laurie and John are wonderful, knowledgeable people who will make your wedding day the most memorable experience of your lives.
