Excellent (and quite large) hoagies here. I especially recommend the specials line of their hoagies, with broccoli rabe and roasted peppers. While the deli salads we tried were just okay, the mini-cannolis were very good. We'll be back.

Best cheesesteak I have ever had.

Purchased large frozen meat lasagna- it was awful. Hardly any beef or sauce. Had no flavor. The shrimp scampi frozen dinner also tasteless and outdated. The only decent purchase was the chicken pot pie which isn’t made by Centrella- it’s made by Amish vendor.

Everything Italian. Wide assortment of prepared foods, sandwiches, lunch meats, and pasta. Helpful staff and high quality products. A few tables for eating in. Not for the diet conscious. 😀

WHAT A BAD EXPERIENCE !!!! Waited 25 minutes for Caesar salad and was met with a complete rude attitude from the lady behind the Counter which I believe was possibly one of the managers then the order was completely wrong and then was met with another complete rude attitude when I asked for my correct order and thought about it didn’t feel like I wanted to wait another 25 minutes so in the end after then 35 minutes just left won’t be attending this establishment again Also, the person handling the food is also handling money with the same gloves so for me hygiene, not a great factor understaffed certainly and they can’t handle The volume of customers at lunchtime won’t be coming back customer skills zero for me what the food is like I suppose I will never know and won’t won’t want to over the hygiene level and customer service

Place looks great after the remodel. I love eggplant parmigiana and read another review about how great it was. I was disappointed because the eggplant was sliced so thick I needed a really sharp knife to cut it. Maybe the person frying was in a hurry? The sauce and cheese were good.

The renovations look great. Service is always on point. Best eggplant parmigiana around. I like to support this small, local business.

The entire place was recently expanded and redone. I only get the sandwiches as everything else is pretty expensive. Cookies are like $14 a pound. They have premade Italian dinners but also, very high. Yet the sandwiches are massive and usually $10 or thereabouts. Service has been hit or miss. Theres 1 woman in there who is very "Philly". The younger girls there are very friendly/nice. I've had orders take 3 min, others 15. Sometimes the same order is $9, other times $11. Place stays busy though!

They have the beat hoagies in Havertown. Deitz and Watson lunch meats. A nice selection of pasta and sauces. Plus, wonderful baked goods. It's the only true deli in our area.

I’m a New Yorker, so I’m probably a little picky when it comes to delis, but I felt the food here was bland and didn’t taste the freshest. The rolls were also blah. Service was quick though.

Been a customer since grade school. Still among the best hoagies I have ever had. I bring them in once in a while when I come in late to the office for myself and a few coworkers and it never disappoints.

Is it possible to have too much delicious food stuffed into a terrific roll? It might be possible at Centrella's! Just had the best cheese steak with fried onions in a long time --flavorful but not salty... big enough for two. The tuna hoagie and Italian hoagie were also almost overflowing! Great flavor.

Hands down best hoagies in the area. Way better than primos, reasonably priced, friendly service GREAT neighborhood spot. But VERY POOR customer service: we were overcharged here by 20-30$ on our card did not notice until we got home and called to get this fixed—were told to had to bring in the slip in order to get a refund. I have the receipt and order. Like what? You can’t look at your orders and slips and tell that you made a mistake, and process the refund we are owed. We have to come back in? I do not live in the area this is an inconvenience for me

This is a cute little local Italian market with lots of prepared foods. They have really nice looking meat at the deli counter. We ordered a chicken cutlet with peppers that was really good. We also ordered an Italian that was yummy too. They use a little too much garlic for me in their peppers, and sauce. Too much garlic bothers my stomach but, it was still very good. They have a lot of great little cheeses and accompaniments including items like jams, olives, sauces, and some DiBrunno items. Overall worth a stop for lunch or to shop for some italian essentials. They have a decent selection of food for lunch/dinner including a lot of frozen take away items, that they prepare.

I just have to Share my comments in regards to my Catering Experience from this past weekend. First I wish i had Pictures, I forgot. But Next time for sure. I needed Cheesteaks for a Tailgate party, I never even thought to Cater this. WOW!!!!! Centrella's cheesteaks catered where out of this world. Was the Hit of the Party. Because i did that, I added on a Deluxe Hoagie Box and Pepperoni and Cheese. Was the Hit of the Party!!!! Anyone looking to Cater an Event should Look at Centrella's. Thank you AJ for Making this to Easy for me.

The food here is great we usually get their sandwiches. It's always tasty, and done when they say it will be. The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Ordered catering for 30 people for a Holy Communion party and these guys knocked it out of the park. From the friendly staff to the delicious food, I really couldn’t have asked for more. Roast pork and Antipasto tray were definitely highlights but everything was great. Top notch experience from start to finish!

Mondays just got better! Pasta and meatballs served hot at Centrella's on Monday! The amount you want...And dinner is done! Let's hope this becomes a regular event! Thanks for a great idea AJ!

Great place, got some sausages, cold cuts and rolls. Great people behind the counter. Meats sliced correctly unlike the mess at grocery stores. Would recommend.

Really good Hoagies and a superb corned beef special. The bread on the hoagie was excellent and they weren't skimpy on the meat either. If you're used to it chain then this will be a pleasant surprise their Italian hoagie and their tuna Hoagie are excellent

This place is awesome BUT ordering inside is a cluster. Do I go to cashier first to order then back again to pay? Do I go to deli to order then to cashier to pay? I’m not sure anyone knows…They really need a ticket system for ordering or something. A bit frustrating when it’s crowded.

Friendly staff and great hoagies, got one from them for the first time today and they seem as good if not better than my previous favorite. Love the wide variety of premade dishes in here and will be coming back again!

This sammy was advertised as RARE Roast Beef. The au jus didn't last long enough to moisten the whole sandwich. Their cheeseteak elevated them from 3 to 5 stars. HUGE sandwich for $8. Well seasoned onions and the roll could not have been fresher. Expertly assembled.

I ordered trays for a party. The food was delicious! Everyone raved about it. I will order again no doubt. Thank you!

Wedding shower with a Philly theme and Centrella’s prepared cheese steak meat and hot pork for the buffet. Huge success!

Oh my husband and I were driving pass and decided to go in to check it out. Of course we made a purchase of the chicken pot pie soup, meatball and peppers and a few other things. Needless to say we will be back.

Let me start by saying Centrella’s food is delicious!!! I could not be happier that I chose Centrella’s to cater my Fathers 80th birthday party. I ordered the 4 entrée catering package and everything was excellent and plentiful. The meatballs were great, the roast pork w/broccoli rabe and sharp provolone OMG I’m in love, sausage and peppers wonderful, penne w/ chicken & broccoli DELICIOUS! Then we had the chicken tender appetizer everyone loved, pepperoni and cheese tray was packed full. The sides and salad were great as well…I could go on. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly employee who knew exactly who I was when I gave my name, he then came out with a rolling cart full of all our food which was well packaged. He reviewed my order with me and verified everything was correct. He then came out and packed it all in my vehicle with great care and would not accept a tip. My experience was delicious food and great service. I am happy to give Centrella’s a glowing review. I now have a place I MUST visit when retuning to Havertown!

Ate here while down here working. Cheesesteaks are great, packed with meat and a great roll. Guys at the job wanted one so the next day got them some and I got the pork, broccoli rabe and provolone. That to was fantastic. Read reviews so tried the potato salad also excellent. Bought meatballs and rolls to try at home as they are supposed to be great. Will try them and post but after the other food I'm sure they are excellent. Want to try other things. This is a fantastic deli. Wish it was closer to home. But Everytime I come down here I'm eating at this deli....ok updating now Sunday sept 6th, did not like the meatballs, and did not care at all for the meatloaf but that wasn't theirs just what they sold, gave the meatballs to my neighbor and waiting to see what she thinks.

Ordered catering for my daughter's 2nd birthday for 15 people. Overall the food was good. The meatballs were delicious, however, you only get 25 which isn't even 2 meatballs per person. I also chose in my package the caesar salad and when I picked up they gave me garden salad. I was told me someone called me and they didn't. Not to mention the garden salad was more like hoagie toppings then salad (iceberg lettuce shavings, sliced tomato, olives and peppers).

It's been a long time since I've been in a real deli. Even longer since I've been to one that smells so freaking good. Got the 9th st. Special. Unreal. Roll was excellent. Meat was fresh(as fresh as Italian aged, salted deli meats can be). Roasted reds were diced and flavorful. All that and decent prices. I can't think of a single thing that could have been done better.

We ordered Centrella’s for my son’s first birthday and everyone raved about the food. They came to our party location, set up all the food stations, and provided serving utensils. We will definitely be ordering from here again. The only downside was that they gave us too much food. We had a party of 60 and it would of easily fed 90.

Love this deli! After multiple trips over the last couple of years (visiting from Boston) Centrella's is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious! Italian and roast pork subs are out of this world. When visiting Havertown, this is a staple, go-to spot for great food.

I recently relocated back to the area and couldn't wait to have an actual authentic hoagie. I chose Roast Beef & Swiss with sweet peppers (nonexistent in South Florida as are Hoagies). So happy and grateful that I waited until I could order from here. Established in 1975 and still going strong! I love the ambiance of the store itself, and all the deliciousness at my fingertips. Thank you to the gentleman who created my hoagie! It was on point sir! Definitely 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The way a neighborhood deli should be. This place is fabulous.

I got a salami hoagie in the morning to take into work so that I didn't have to worry about picking up something on the way home. It was delicious. I'm definitely going to do this again because it was easier and cheaper than having to get delivery from someplace. Also I have coupons which I forgot to use. I also bought a bottled McDonald's Mccafe mocha latte, which was pretty good.

We used Centrella's catering for a work event. We could not be more pleased with the price, the service, and the delicious food! Will definitely be using Centrella's catering in the future.

Great place to go for some fresh deli meats, prepared meals and hoagies. Customer service is always fantastic. Parking can be a little harsh sometimes so you have to go to the additional lot on brookline. Make sure you pay to park as havertown will ticket.

This is definitely the best Deli in the area. The staff is very friendly and the hoagie selection is great. I ordered a Chicken cutlet hoagie with ranch dressing and it was amazing. I also took home the meatballs and marinara sauce for dinner for the week. AJ is doing great job there!

This place carries world famous pound cakes from Stock's Bakery! Woo hoo! We no longer have to drive all the way to Port Richmond to buy them. I wish they carried more than one flavor, vanilla is all they carry. Please bring in some chocolate ones! Update to my review: you gotta get their Italian hoagie dip, yes DIP! It is awesome! If they don't have it they'll make it for you if you order at least a pound. The dip goes great with Liscios french or italian bread. Just break the bread and dip it. Highly recommend it.

A co worker had a death in the family and doesn't live close to where we work. So my bosses wanted to send her some food for her and her family for tonight. I called a few delis around her house in Lansdowne and every business I spoke to close to her house had NO sympathy and would not go out and deliver anything for me. I searched around and found Centrella's and immediately AJ gave his condolences and helped me out. He recommended food that would be good to eat tonight and save if needed for the next few nights so my coworker and her family could have a snack anytime they needed. I asked him if he could deliver to her home and he said no problem. I ended up having to change the address and he still happily agreed. He even offered to call me once the delivery had been made. Great guy and from what all of the other reviews say they have great food. Thank you AJ! You really helped us, help out a co worker and I'm sure you brightened up her day a little. There should be more people and businesses like this around!
