Fantastic sandwiches with variety 👍🏽👍🏽

Ask for no pickle, extra pickle. Ask for easy on the dressing, get a dripping freaking mess. Would never recommend. Will never go back. Get your stuff together people.

Stopped by on our last night of a two week road trip on our way back to Oklahoma. I had the la canna and it was fabulous. My boyfriend had a spicy sandwhich and said it was the best sandwhich he ever ate! I had to look up where the closest place to us was lol! Looks like a 2 hour trip to get subs in Denton, TX, is in my future! Come to Oklahoma! We have a robust stoner culture here!

Extremely disappointing that there is no tip option on credit cards. I come here often and always want to tip the staff for how awesome they are, but in the past week they explained to me there is no option for me to tip unless it’s cash. I hope this issue gets resolved quickly because everyone is amazing. Seems stupid since the same card machine is being used also ice machine sucks found chunks in my drink

We loved the sandwiches here! We would totally come again. We tried the white widow (chicken bacon ranch) and AK-47 which is a French dip with roast beef and the soup you dip it in. We loved both of them. The atmosphere is really cool and laid back too. The cashier was friendly and helpful and told us to take our time while ordering since the menu is quite large and this was our first time here. Also was very helpful by giving us suggestions on what to order!

Cheba Hut is the bomb. No doubt. This place had a DJ who was also doing karaoke. Awesome! The enviroment is chill with a little bar. Love it.

Food was pretty good probably not as good as the other location. It's not really worth the $30 that we spent on a pinner and a nug . Probably a little bit of salt would have saved the flavor . Especially if you're going to be using vinegarette .

Need to try it a few more times, but the 5-0 is pretty darn good. The service is good nothing crazy, and the atmosphere is great. Overall would recommend.

We were intrigued having dined at the restaurant next door. Cheba's was always packed! Alas, the sub was good but not enough to have a return visit. The music was very, very loud, so conversation was impossible for us. Take out isn’t our style. Sorry.

Ordered online and it was ready when we got there. Garlic herb bread is so tasty. My partner and I both got G-13. Solid sub. Rice Krispy is okay. I loved Cheba Hut so much, it’s quick and convo for late night eats- I ate here three times during my stay!

On-time, friendly college age staff. New Mexico University is across the street. You get good , food and a drink 🍸 @ the bar. Quick easy food with an informal environment.

I ask to get my sub more toasted and they didn't even toasted my sub

It's ight. For 17 big ones I expected a knock your socks off sub. The bread was good but the Jamaican red was just ok. Maybe there's better ones

My favorite is the Cali Mist with Cheese Bread and GRAPE KOOL-AID!!!! So when your munchies hit, there is only one place that can satisfy!

A marijuana themed sandwich shop. Delicious sandwiches in a very entertaining setting. Service was acceptable.

Staff can be a little spacey but not bad by any means, and the food is out of this world

This is close to campus, very laid back busy spot. Food was excellent, parking was a little challenging, the choices for where to eat are good, there are picnic tables and spots in side. I really liked the overall feel of this restaurant. Would recommend.

Friendly service, good sandwiches, trendy business, and a bar! The bread was freshly made, the ingredients are fresh, and plenty of ingredients. I enjoyed the 5.0 and will definitely order it again, but next time… the bar will be enjoyed!

Good place overall, you will be satisfied, and subs done differently than most places, at least from experience. The parking is minimal and congested so go when they are not too busy. When busy you will wait for some time .

Went on the event day last month and waited in the very long line to place an order. Didn't get one of the sandwiches correct, ordered the blunt size white widow ended up getting some nugget little sandwich that was not even close to what I ordered. Went to tell the lady that took our order and gave me our order that it was wrong, she advised me there was nothing she could do that they were too busy, I asked her if I could get the correct sandwich I didn't mind waiting. Again she advised that they were too busy that if I wanted a sandwich I needed to get back in line. At that time I left her the nugget sandwich and said have a good day, I was not about to stand in line again for a simple mistake that could have been fixed very easily.

Cheba hut will satisfy all your sandwich cravings. They have a pretty wide variety available so there ought to be something for every taste. The small bar section can provide alcoholic refreshment to accompany the tasty sandwiches. The dining room is nothing special but the service is usually fast; the staff bring orders to the tables when they are ready. It can get pretty busy with take out orders so be a little cautious if you're short on time. They have karaoke and live music on the patio some nights .

Trumped my favorite restaurant!! Jamaican red minus blk olives all day!! My honey proposed today and my favorite plate is sandwich, PERFECT SPOT AND had karaoke for him!!

Devastated that they would change a perfect recipe - now there’s gross random captain crunch bits in the fruity bar. The texture and taste are off, and my favorite treat is ruined. :( The old recipe was much better! Edit: thankfully, after being a hater, Cheba hut switched back to the old recipe <3 so I gave them their stars back

Cashier at the Central location was rude and was the same person that gave me my order. The order in the bag was all wrong, the sizes and types of sandwiches and sides ($40 worth). I presented my receipt and explained and was told to go back through the line and reorder and pay again...huh? No, I paid the correct amount and the receipt showed the correct items but not what I was given. Never again!

Have only been there once. Great first impression👍. I liked the freshness of the food. The prices were reasonable. Service: When I walked in to pick up my order, I went straight to the register/the ordering side. The guy asked me how could he help me and I said I had a pick up. The pick up, I didn’t realize, was on the way other side of the counter. He didn’t gripe but kindly walked me over to the pick up side to get my order and then gave it to me. Excellent customer service, good atmosphere 👍

Always love their sandwiches... can't go wrong. Good size with plenty of toppings. Kali Mist is a winner!! Yum!! The atmosphere is " fast food"... nothing special.

If I could I would give them 0 stars but I can’t, the reason for such a poor rating is because I waited over 60min for a “nug” white widow and never received it after telling the sandwich maker multiple times I’ve been waiting. My slime demanded a refund and they it’s going to take 2 business days.

I was fired for an unknown reason. I was a KJ there since August at all their locations in Albuquerque but they fired me and instead of communicating with me, they just let me go. Poor communication and now I'll be letting all my followers know

The sandwiches are great. The bar has great specials and down to earth bartenders. I enjoy spending time at the Harvard Cheba Hut. Edit 4/2/24: This past week they changed the menu, that's not a problem, change is good, however they are not honoring the new prices. This is starting to frustrated me and several others. Please get the proper buttons to honor your new menu! Example, the $2 upcharge for the well shots with any beer purchase is not available on the register, so they will not honor it even though it's on the menu. I know it's new, but cheba should be honoring the menu regardless. 😒

So as a member of the entertainment industry I was asked to try this place from fellow members of PRO WRESTLINGS Duke City Championship Wrestling as apparently they frequent the location this day I had the pleasure of trying this eatery for the first time I wasn't sure how to take it wasn't sure if was Infused or just themed (Just Themed) but the food was decent and decently priced be fair Warned if coming from COLORADO They DO NOT Accept Digital ID has a Pinner aka second largest size of Meatball Sandwich The Flavor wasn't over bearing the cheese blend was well put together, toasted Bread I had the Garlic bread nice twist, nice firm meatball plenty of sauce NOT OVER Saturated The eye catchers tho were the RICE CRISPY Treats HUGE, the Staff Was Polite and afforded me the luxury of being addressed as my professional name "SIZZLE" Plenty of seats for our entire crew and staff parking wasn't bad, overall enjoyable experience my associates really enjoyed it full bar in addition to quality sandwiches.

Very good subway sandwiches. I got the hummus and guacamole 12 inch veggie and it was very filling. Came with everything, but I wish they had put more guacamole than hummus, I think it would of tasted better. High vibes here and interesting atmosphere to get toasted

Dropped in for a bite after being on the road for 10 hours. Great vibe, beer, and sandwiches. They had karaoke going outside which didn’t bleed into the indoor space. Price was reasonable for what we ordered. We’d definitely stop again if we’re ever around. 😎

Food was great. Their soda machine was leaking underneath and sodas were coming out watery. No employees were doing nothing about it and there was hardly anyone.

Ordered online, arrived and still had to wait 10-15 min for sandwich to be made which is fine but when the sandwich was done it was completely wrong and disgusting!! I tired to eat a sandwich that wasn’t even what I ordered just to save them a complaint but after eating the sandwich, I’d say save your money or go to their other location on Menaul!

The staff was friendly and awesome. I had made an order for pick up and didn't realize they forgot more than half my order. Needless to say I paid $33 for just a sandwich.

I liked this place a lot it has a great atmosphere. The food was good I had the Apollo 11 (greek) the dishes themselves were good; I went with my family we each got something different and each of us enjoyed the food. They have a great variety of sandwiches with many options for dietary restrictions. The reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because it's very loud this is not a problem when you are at the table or eating but I was a bit hard to order when you can't realy hear what the order taker is saying and they also can't realy hear you. Overall though it was good.

So, I have been to this location multiple times. It was gradually getting worse. Items kept not being fulfilled. However, tonight was the worst experience I've ever had. Went to work at 5am, got off at 7 pm. My wife asked me to order subs. We have never had less meat put on our subs here before. The flavor has almost a hundred percent changed. I have a two year old daughter who happens to love peanut butter and jelly.... Not only did I list it for her indicating she was obviously a baby.... The tinfoil was wrapped around these sandwiches so tight that they were inside of the sandwiches, and pulling peanut butter and jelly out of tinfoil proved difficult My daughter started trying to take bites from the peanut butter and jelly sub, and I noticed she was having a very hard time. For whatever reason, tearing the bread by taking bites. I went to go and try and split the sandwich in half. And the bread was just very stuck together if that makes sense. While I went to go and get a knife. I had noticed two to three fairly long strands of hair. If these hairs were clearly black. My daughter has light brown hair. So obviously, that upset me even more, and I ended up throwing that one away and making her a peanut butter and jelly sandwich here at home. I ordered the dank sub like I always. This time, I think it had one of the worst flavors i've tasted. Opening up the sub. I also noticed basically only a couple of slices of meat in the sub. My wife orders the same thing every time as well, that being the Midwest best.... again, the meats and other garnishment were slept into the sub, again almost minimal quantities of meat, tomatoes were soggy and limp, as was the slender slice of pickle. Again, Flavor was just not there. 14.09 for hers, with that quality or lack there of, mine 14.84, the worst dank sub I've ever had from there, hair and basically staled bread in my daughter's PB&J???? TF!? Now.... I waited to get to the restaurant to order our drinks, chips, and dessert... my bad, I should have tasted the kool-aid first, mainly water..... The cookie was good, and obviously, the chips come bagged. 53.67 was the total with the two receipts added together. The online order is 35.47, plus I gave a 5.00 tip.... because normally, I never thought I'd be this disappointed. You can't just charge these prices, then cut the quantities in under half of what it used to be, and for half the quality it used to be. It is very disappointing to work all day, pick up food that should have been the high point of my extensive day, and come home to have to make food anyway.... very upsetting. And come on guys, the PB@J was clearly for a kid..... put your hair up and get some fresh bread so they don't rip out their new teeth or choke on it. I would also highly suggest, especially for takeout orders, to stop tapping the bags closed so the customer can't sit there and confirm the order before leaving. If I'd seen this before I left the resterauant, I would not have left. Also, you guys have to do better with that tinfoil. I shouldn't have to pull pieces out of my sub.

Sandwiches were excellent, definitely my favorite sandwich shop. I visited the one in Denver a couple months back, and was excited to see one in Albuquerque. It was just as good as I remembered. Don't even waste your time at togos/subway, Cheba Hut is hands down the best.

The Best sandwiches. I get the chicken breast on garlic bread. You gotta add jalapeño cream cheese and chipotle mayo.

Club sandwich rolls from Cheba Hut were deserved at a function at the Tesla Service Center, Bernalillo. I had a Kali Mist sub and it was delicious. I will be sure to visit the restaurant.

Posting a second review because they brought back the original recipe for the fruity crispy bars - thank goodness! I also recommend the chiesel.

We loved the food here. The sandwiches were delicious and I don’t know what kind of dressing they put on top, but it was very good. Funny enough, I didn’t realize until about 10 minutes after we arrived and was looking around the restaurant that there was a very specific theme to the restaurant that I had completely missed initially when we arrived. 😏

The subs here are #1 on my top 5 list! When I have other subs, I'm always thinking of Cheba!

My first time was magical! My Power Plant was fresh, tasty and filling! The jalapeno chips added just the right kick! The Berry Patch tea was soooo delightful! You gained a Cheba Hut Fan!

i love this place n the vibes so much, like food is so good and especially the drinks lol but its only a 4 because one bartender in particular with purple and a leather jacket one night; i recently turned 21 and had a drink, i walked outside where my buddies n bf were drinking and she begins to SHOUT at me from INSIDE the bar to tell me im not allowed to leave, of course i immediately came back but it wasnt later after the embarrassment did i realize how unprofessional she was and she even continued to give me the stinkeye the rest of the night so i decided to leave

The sandwiches that come out of thus place are just out of this world amazing. I got the KGB today...probably the best sandwich I've had in the past couple of years. Menu prices are easy to understand. You pick a sandwich and a size. All sizes cost the same. The People who work here are just as wonderful. Always in a good mood, always happy to be there. The food is as fresh and delicious as can be. Service is quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable. This was a great experience.

My son took me to eat, I enjoyed it very much the food was delicious. Definitely will be going back.

Good location, service is fast a tone variety of sandwiches, good quality and staff friendly.

We ordered three sandwiches, the pretzel nugs, the goo balls, and the loaded not'chos. Two of the sandwiches were great, one was alright (a little soggy and sloppy, but still tasted good). The pretzel nugs and goo balls were delicious. The not'chos were very underwhelming and I wouldn't suggest ordering them. Literally just Doritos with a light sprinkling of cheese and like two jalapenos and four black olives.

Always great sandwiches, if you order at the right times. Once they get busy your food is either ok or cold. No in between but I still order once a week. Get the KGB. Can't go wrong with that one. They have a new sauce they add to all sandwiches and it does make the whole thing even better

Cheba Hut is one of the best sub places in the universe, I don't say that lightly cuz I have traveled the universe looking for other good subs and well they just can't match up to your guyses. your staff is always very fun and professional, I see them smiling most of the time, you know we can't all have perfect days all the time. yeah never had a complaint about anything there,I love you guys keep it up. if you want me to open up a branch in Seattle I think you guys would crush it there...
