Pho79 has been a longtime favorite of mine. The food is always excellent, delivery, pick-up, and dine-in. Everyone has always been pleasant. Pho79 will be sorely missed. Thank you, everyone, for all the wonderful food you have provided.

I visited the place after reading the reviews and wasn't impressed: broth has no taste just like the noodles, very little cilantro and Thai basil and the bowl isn't filled to top. They have a lot to improve before I'll go back. Prices and the spring rolls are ok.

Sketch location, but absolutely delightful food, very kind and knowledgeable staff and fast service. 10/10 would absolutely reccomend to anyone who likes Vietnamese food.

The food was good! The pho has a good broth. The atmosphere was nice and the wait wasn’t long. Only thing that I didn’t enjoy was that the fish sauce was too sweet.

Outside of restaurant looks scary. But inside looks great. Food is very good. And price is very good too. Good food portion. Would recommend.

To say I was let down is an understatement. As a native to the Albuquerque area I know there are many great options for Vietnamese. Although this is by far the worst Vietnamese I’ve had in town. I trusted the stupid yelp reviews and many others. Don’t. The pho was very oily. I had to douse it in pepper, salt, and lime for even a little taste. The Bahn mi had barely any veggies and was far too bready. Service was fast, however I asked for several sides and tea to no response. I will never go back to this place again. Le Bistro, Viet Taste, Basil, or Que Huong will ALWAYS be my first options. Their ingredients are fresher, better aumbiance, and overall better service. I dined alone and wasted $30.

Looking forward to visiting again in the coming winter months for more pho because the broth is phenomenal!! I added my habitual hoisin sauce and sriracha that unfortunately overshadowed it but it was still really good!! I had the grilled chicken pho; not many places offer it grilled and it was nice to have that option. I was surprised by the dark chicken meat so I'd keep it in mind when ordering if you have a preference. We tried the fresh spring rolls- they were falling apart but the pork was flavorful. Also had the fresh squeezed limeade... it tasted somewhat artificial honestly I missed the natural tanginess. Really nice service by the local family that owns and runs it!

Great hospitality. You really have to visit them to see why the rating is so high. The food taste amazing, quick service, reasonably priced, huge portions. So refreshing. The chicken dumplings were great as well. Very cute interior and right on the street.

Not going to lie, I was nervous parking here. It seemed a bit unwelcoming from the outside- but I'm so glad I went in! So warm and welcoming. The pho was great and they even have tendon. Delicious.

Ordered a bahn mi sandwich with grilled pork. The meat was different than the meat from other restaurants, was more bbq style and saucy than I'm used to, but was still very tasty. Want to try their vermicelli bowls and add to/update this review.

I pass by this place almost daily. Finally decided to check it. So glad I did!! This is definitely on my favorites list.

I had Pho Tai and my wife had Bahn Mi. We also took home some fried rice to share on for dinner. Everything was excellent. The restaurant is nice and clean and service was attentive and friendly.

Pho 79 slaps every single time and every single item on their menu is delicious. My friends and I go here and there’s quite a few of us and they take care of us so efficiently every time.

I always get the Combination Pho and some Pork Spring Rolls. Honestly thinking about getting some right now.

Best Vietnamese I've had in a while. My brother and I stopped in on a road trip. Don't be deceived by the outside. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had seafood pho. (I know... Seafood in NM?). My brother had a pork vermicelli bowl. I'd DEFINITELY go again...

Ate dinner at Pho 79 last nite (May 2nd) and the food GREAT. Had Chicken Vermicelli Lemongrass and it rocked my sinuses since I dumped the entire ramikin of spicy sauce on my dish. Spicy, but oh so good. Definite recommendation...

Pho was ok, but bathrooms are THE WORST! If you are handicapped, go somewhere else! "Handicapped " stall is a joke and when we told them, they agreed and blamed the owner...ruined what could have been a pleasant experience.

We just tried this restaurant for lunch and loved their food! Spring rolls and pho bowl were excellent. I ordered a tofu sandwich, so yummy! Our drinks, an avocado smoothie and Thai tea, were made fresh, handcrafted on the spot. I wasn't too sure about the avocado smoothie, but was glad I was being adventureous, both drinks were absolutely delicious! They have other smoothies too. Can't wait to go back to try their mango and green tea. Staff is friendly, spoke good English, and our "to go" order came out quickly. Indoor dinning is available.

Walked om kinda late 30 min before closing staffed seemed annoyed bit in reality who wouldn't but the food was amazing and fresh I will definitely recommend this place and I'll return

Very different noodle salad. Hot not cold. No mint. But I really liked it. Egg rolls were good also. Definitely a home recipe. God prices and yes I ate all of that!!!

Best pho place in town. I have been to pretty much all the pho restaurants in Abq, and many throughout the country. None have been comparable to pho79. Pho79 also has your food ready very quickly. I can come here for my work lunch because it only takes them 5 minutes to bring me my order.

This place has a lot of great reviews and it's easy to understand why. Food is great, service is great, and the building is one of the cleanest I have seen- this you would not expect if you were walking outside as the location is off the freeway by itself. The complaints mainly seem to have to do with takeout by uber eats or grub hub or what have you. Seems like that is where the confusion is. Anyone complaining about the Pho itself I do not understand.

Ever since my first time of having pho, I have been in love! And Pho 79 Vietnamese Restaurant did not disappoint. The place was well kept and clean. I was greeted right away, and the service was quick and friendly. I had the well done steak pho and some chicken dumplings and there were both out within just a few minutes of me ordering them. I also had their Thai tea, and it was also delicious. I definitely recommend going here if you are looking for some amazing food and great service.

It was my first time I tried pho and I’m glad it was here! The service was excellent by the gentleman. The food was hot and fresh. An most importantly it was delicious! Thank you. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Classic dive sort of location, but bright and clean and tidy inside. Service was prompt and business-like. I got a large bowl of the sliced pork pho. It was hot and had the right mix of noodles, meat, onions, etc, with plenty of sprouts, jalapeno & mint leaves on the side. I'm sure you could adjust the level of hot/ spicy up or down to suit your preference. Drinking only water, with tax & tip, the total was ~$15.

This place is awesome, they actually put meat on your sandwich. It was fresh, fast and tasty. Not to much grease and the dumplings were fried toasty not burnt. Couple of young guys doing an amazing job. Definitely will be going back. Tip them they do a great job.

Food was so yummy and I enjoyed the pho I just wished they had shrimp on the menu. And their raspberry tea was sooo good!

There's a few good Vietnamese restaurants in Albuquerque, but this one's my favorite. Nice ambiance while still super chill and low-key. The surrounding motels are sketchy, but I've never had any issues with the people there. Glad it weathered the covid shut down, and I hope it stays around for a while.

My Family and I made a big order on Sunday . The food was great they went above and beyond for us. We all enjoyed it , you will not be disappointed. The Food was authentic. It reminded me of when I was a little girl and we would travel to different regions of the world. Vietnam was one of my favorite places to visit.

Just tried this place today, first time trying vietnamese and it was very nice. The purple drink tasted very sweet like vanilla beans but was made from a taro plant which was cool. The chicken dumplings were fried so they had a crunchy outside with soft inner. And the main dish was warm and made from rice noodles with a nice broth and a couple extras to add to it. Overall the food and atmosphere was very nice the only downfall was a small parking area.

Don't let the outside appearance of the restaurant scare you off! The food is FANTASTIC and the prices are great.

Great food and service! I was staying in a nearby Fairfield Inn and came here for takeout. The server was very friendly and helpful. Easy to order. The portion sizes are tremendous. I had spring rolls and shrimp pho. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. The portions were so big that I only ate half.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Was very clean and portion size is huge😍!! I ordered the pork and my husband ordered raw steak and beef. It was so delicious I had to order some more to take home!! Our service was absolutely amazing our waiter kept our drinks full and check it on us throughout our visit.

Typical mom and pop shop. Quaint but delicious. We arrived late on Thursday night about 815 and were told that we could only order togo as they were closing in 15 minutes. We opted to leave because we were staying in a near by hotel and preferred to eat out of actual bowls.. We returned the next day at 11am. Wife had the meatball + rare beef, daughter had the rare beef, son had the well done beef, and I had the oxtail pho. Broth was excellent, rich and savory 5/5. Noodles were fresh with good texture 5/5. Veggies were 3/5 due to portion and selection. The oxtail was great with a big portion of meat 5/5. The rare beef was thin sliced as preferred. The well done beef was also thin sliced but super dry 2/5. Overall great food and that's saying a lot considering I come from a large city with the second highest population of vietnamese in the nation.

They say they're spicy is spicy. And it is. They shrimp are well fed.
