The person was helpful and my food temperature was correct.

The most rudest night shift at this checkers. Who ever runs the online drive thru needs to be retrain on how to work it and customer service. I received cold food and asked to change it and it was not changed. I will never visit this unprofessional location again.

Excellent burgers but the place is a bit dangerous

They should close this down and turn it into a car wash or something because the service and food is trash here they don’t know how tf to cook it right .

I placed an order through DoorDash and my Dasher had to wait 40 mins for my order! This is ridiculous! A complete joke! I tried calling their phone and the number doesn't work!

I hate coming here they always close why hire people who don’t want to work like it’s sick it’s 11:40 at night and we stood at your drive thru for 25 min and nobody came and said nothing, do better.

This boy malachi served me and started flirting with me taking long to give me my food, then after waiting he said that the burger was bigger than my breast and I honestly felt harrased... he proceeds to ask for my socials and Gave me his ( look out for a lightskin tall boy)

too long to prepare a hamburger 40 minutes, waiting, it's supposed to be a fast food restaurant, they already have one less customer and I don't recommend them to anyone

The service was horrible the lady had a great attitude and she told us to wait a moment we got tired of waiting so we went to the kfc across the street and they took Less than 3 minutes to serve us with our food when we were on our way back we passed by the checkers and the same car that was behind us when we left was still there waiting for them to even talk to them

The only reason to eat at this place is absolute DESPERATION. This is usually one of the only "restaurants" open super late at night. It is located in the heart of the ghetto and uses such people to staff the place. The staff is very rude, uneducated and non-interested in rendering service. The managers are the same. There's no point in complaining. Eating here is like playing Russian Roulette. You never know what you're going to get. Either you'll receive severely undercooked food or extremely old and stale food. You'll also be waiting in the drive-thru for a ridiculously long period of time to place your order even though no one is in front of you. They'll get to you whenever they are ready. The place is filthy and I doubt it's up to code. Only eat here if you have a strong stomach. 🤢🤮

Good Lunch, excellent burgers an fries

This place needs to be closed down. It's a ticking time bomb. The staff is a complete nightmare. Imagine your food. I try to come here every once in awhile & it's progressively worse. This last visit was the last. I'd rather deal. Good luck if you don't believe it.

Horrible horrible service they don’t know what they’re doing.they asked me to wait in my car for 15 minutes. Food was burned super dry. A strawberry sundae had more strawberry syrup and some cheese than ice cream I had to get out of my car and ask for my food. Won’t go there ever again

Terrible experience and service. At drive thru window I asked about a "$5 meal deal" that was being promoted on sign, to which I was responded "I don't know and we don't have that." Then continued with " you gotta spend some money broke boy!"

After our Wednesday night service, I was hungry so I asked my ride to take me to Checkers do I could get something to eat since I hadn't eaten anything the whole day. I got the Baconator and fries and the drink I gave to the Elder and his wife. Can up to my apt and ate only half of the sandwich and all of the fries. I'll eat the rest of my sandwich for lunch today. It was delicious.

Ordered the new barbecue baconzilla combo,I was charged 11.39$,I pointed out to the cashier that the price on the front of the store said 8.99$ she told me I was wrong. I argued the fact that I'm literally looking at the price as we speak,she came around to the front of the store seeing the sign and proceeded to rip it down and told me the sign was wrong and i meant to order a small. I found it comical but rude. Seeming like I was under some Jedi mind trick being told I'm not seeing what I'm seeing and I meant to order what I really didn't mean to order I just ask for my money back and left. The end

Came here all the way from Hawaii and would not take my order at 4:58. Technically they close at 5 and I tried to stop in the way to airport. So sad I won't get to try the cheese sticks. Such a shame. Mercedes said they were closed 😓 we still had 2mins!!!!

Terrible customer service, I don't know the name of the employee but he is an obese man with an unpleasant attitude, with little or rather no education, dirty kitchen environment and with little confidence with food, I do not recommend eating in that establishment, if it continues that type of employees there, I honestly do not recommend it and go to other checkers. Pésimo servicio al cliente, desconozco el nombre del empleado pero es un señor obeso con una actitud desagradable, con poca o mas bien nula educación, ambiente de cocina sucia y con poca confianza con la comida, no recomiendo comer en ese establecimiento , si sigue ahí ese tipo de empleados, sinceramente no lo recomiendo y me voy a otras chequeras.

I love me some Checkers. Wish there was one in Lehigh Acres. Anytime I'm in the Miami area this is my go to. Food is always good and the service is always excellent.

Very unprofessional workers, me and my boyfriend walked up to the window to make an order stood there for 20 minutes and nobody acknowledged us…so we went to the drive thru an after receiving our order we asked why we wasn’t acknowledged and the worker that was there didn’t respond only took our money and didn’t even give me back my change

Worst Checkers ever, don’t even think of going there. Very disrespectful staff (specially during the night), they even made me feel unsafe…I went to pick up 2 orders as a delivery for which they made me visit their 3 windows to just attend me, when at last I waited on the “right” lane for them for 15mins, the guy who looked like the manager just went outside to smoke with some homeless people (which made me feel very unsafe), and when I asked him about my orders he told me that they were ready but still didn’t wanted to give them to me, instead he yelled at me for no reason (I was very calm during the whole thing since I really felt unsafe) which made me feel scared, so I ended up canceling both orders. Never going back there, very bad energy. Plus the place is always surrounded with homeless people which I don’t have any problem with, but the ones who hang in there, they really look like they’re up for real problems if you don’t give them money…

i went at 4 am for some delicious food and the workers saved me from all the crackheads. Love them they slayed ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Didn't even sound like we had her full attention so we drove to the window, waited for her to acknowledge us. 3 ppl just watched us while the stood around looking at the screen. We left. It was crazy.

Every time I go to this location not only do the employees look like they are in pajamas but they have attitudes and my order was missing something and the lady wouldn't give me my receipt to confirm what I paid for and the loaded fries I ordered are soaked burnt fries men I'm considering calling the health department or starting a petition to get this place closed down enough is enough we need good service whether or not it's in the hood. I ordered 4 sandwich meals and a Parmesan loaded fries 🍟, Milkshake machine “wasn’t working”. This guy literally put a cold box of loaded fries in my bag THERE IS NO WAY HE DIDN’T DO THIS INTENTIONALLY, which leads me to believe it has been sitting around from a previous order, possibly in someone else’s hands. I am pregnant which his lazy/ignorance could’ve caused me and my baby greater harm. There is no way the fries, the cheese and bacon should ALL be cold, if freshly cook. I’ve had this item before at a better location. I started not to feel well to the point on possibly not eating Checkers anymore, especially this location because not even the sandwiches look like they should. Now I have to take the night off (waste of money!) and now a days work!

Called Checkers by the 54st. Bank & Laundry plaza. Safe well lit..and clean. Plenty of parking.. Subs.. Pizza.. Food.. Tag place..wash n fold..many other businesses within this entire plaza end to end tho is looks to be 1st and 2nd floors. The 1st floor is the only floor able to walk inside and take care of business. Open day and night businesses. Laundry and food are here.Auto parts store right across the street.

As some of you may have seen my mentioning in previous reviews, I am a single parent & sole provider for my household. Because of this, I am always in search of a deal OR saving money. So me and my boys don't eat out Too often because of the amount of money it takes to feed a family of 5 to 7. With that being said, I have come to the realization that ordering online & through apps tends to be significantly less than ordering by phone directly through the restaurants. The downside to such ordering that I've personally been subject to is paying for an order then not getting my food for different reasons. Well during the visit to this particular establishment, I had just had the visit from hell to another location of the same franchise just an hour or so before and not only did the previous checker's not fulfill my order after I'd already paid for it through the app but 2 or 3 of the employees, one of which was a manager, proceeded to treat me really badly and laugh about it. So I used the last of my money and went to this particular checker's and the manager was a complete gem. She was going to cancel my order bc they were out of hotdogs meaning my kids wouldn't have dinner for the night but she accommodated me to the best of her ability. She made my day. Also the restaurant was clean and she was very pleasant. I would not only visit again but also highly recommend!

Usually visiting Checkers, any Checkers restaurant will leave you disappointed. However, this Brownsville location is often busy because the fries are hot, the staff is efficient, and the orders are accurate.

12 November 2020: I have always like Checkers burgers and fries in Miami, Rallys in Los Angeles are the exact same burger joints. One the main reasons are it's the only fast food burger joints that have banana shakes.

Edit : Next day 12:20p Came back and the manager fixed everything and remade all of the food fresh ! She also had us double check before leaving ! She’s super nice and patient with my double order mess up ! Thank you Visited last night & was the worst experience . I ordered my food at 10:48pm & had to make 2 trips back due to my order being incomplete and hard . On the last trip I complained to the on-site management about the food being hard & he argued and said he couldn’t do anything because we didn’t have the receipt & he couldn’t print another one due to it not being in the system anymore . The cashier ended up printing it off & then he turned around & said he couldn’t remake it although we had ALL the food with us . He claimed it was because it was an hour after we ordered . We let him know it wasn’t that the food was cold it was that everything was hard ! He still did nothing & told us to speak with the GM in the morning . Called multiple times & the phoneline is disconnected

Sometimes its a hit and miss. One visit the food will be warm enough, but I won't have my whole order. The next time I will have my whole order but the food is cold. I appreciate the level of politeness and professionalism they show, just wish the food was more consistent.

Good food, and some nice employees but they can get short tempered with you, but that's not a big deal..it comes with the job, or that's their special sauce to the recipe!
