Seeing several people getting sat before the last two people arrive. I tried to ask the manager if I could order appetizers for my daughters. Darden restaurants come on guys.

This is for the Lakeland location. I just flew out here from Washington to be with friends for a wedding. Our server was Rocco, and he did a fantastic job. My food was excellent, and he was fast and on top of service. My friend's potato was cold but he had it replaced no fuss. Very very professional and respectful and made sure everything was okay. Prices were definitely very reasonable. If you all ever expand into Washington, I'll be a customer for sure. Otherwise I'll have to stop by again if I'm ever in Florida again.

Food was not the best as it has been in the past. The fish had a very fishy taste like it was not fresh. Also our waitress was very slow taking care of us. 30 minute wait for soda's and tea was unacceptable. Had to ask several times for condements and silverware. Not the service or food we have been given in the past.

This place is awesome. My Aunt and I ate here for the first time and it did not disappoint. Robert was our server and gave great suggestions and service. We will definitely be back.

We were not greeted when we entered and the ladies at the front desk were more concerned with “who was going to do carry out tonight”. Those same ladies did not give us a children’s menu nor did they ask or bring us a highchair for our child. Whenever we were leaving the same 3 hostess were at the front desk and just stared at us while we left without a single “thank you” or “have a good day”. The food was served COLD. The ONLY redeeming factor for the two stars was our waitress Tara who was super nice and attentive. She was awesome. Spend your money elsewhere

The food is great, and so is the waitress named Megan, I think that she is outstanding at work here, and for the customers, including me, my brother, and my mom, she doesn't miss a beat.

The food was good. I love cheddar's. This was my first time going to this one and o brought people who had never been and we all enjoyed it.

The best food I have had in Florida. Everything my wife and I ordered came at the same time piping hot and made exactly the way we ask. I recommend Cheddars to everyone.

Terrible experience... We were from out of town traveling through, talked wonderful things about Cheddars to our son and the experience and food was terrible. The croissants were hard and cold, not what I'm used to at Cheddars, tasted terrible. The waitress put the wrong food in then what I asked for, wasn't accommodated for her mistake, they forgot about my husbands food and never cooked it, when realized.. they asked him if he still wanted it which he said no I'll just eat off my wife and sons (bc at this point we're pissed). The manager comes out and offers us a free dessert and brings my husband's food out regardless, The potato is full of sour cream he asked not to have, the steak was purple and fatty when u cut it open NO MEAT, the manager says he's going to take it off the check and instead took our sons meal off which was cheaper than my husband's. We waited another 30 min for the dessert we told the manager we'd take to go 20 min prior. At this point we just want to get out of here. Just a terrible experience in general and I would not recommend this place considering there were so many other choices nearby.

I met my now companion from a lesbian dating site ( our very first date) well since this was my first time going there, only from recommendations from people I use to work with me myself had no problems my companion was not satisfied with her meal although she returned the first dish and the staff had no problems with accommodating with the new order or the complaint, and yet my companion wasn't satisfied ( with I believe was good reason) the staff immediately apologized and was very kind and gracious. Not sure if we will return, but the staff was great.

Went on Saturday morning with friends. Had a great experience until it was time to pay. There’s table kiosk to self process the credit card and pay. This is not what I expect when I go to a full service restaurant. If I wanted that I would have gone to a drive through. Too many choices in restaurants to settle for substandard customer care. I paid cash to avoid self service, I will not be back.

Drink was watered down, food was tasteless and cold. My husband got the worst food poisoning. Server was okay, he wasn’t very attentive. Never got napkins or silverware. Definitely not going back.

Horrible. Waiter never came to the table wasn't even busy waited 25 minutes she walked by 5 times. She had one table. Manager offered no help.

I picked this place for lunch because my mom has a gluten allergy. Their menu Is fantastic for people who can't eat gluten and for those who can. I'll be going here again soon

Took my dad mom and gram out for father's day. Well the waitress was rude wouldn't let them finish their questions kept interrupting them. She barely came to our table was more focused on other tables which I found interesting 🤔 I had the chicken wrap all I said I didn't one thing but when I get it all it was a piece of chicken in a Tortilla some cheese it wasn't good, the chicken was over cook that my gram got. The attitude and rudness is what gets me.

We were celebrating a high school graduation. 9 people in our party. About 15 minutes after being seated did our server arrive. 2 people in our party, was obvious their order was not satisfactory. Server never asked about their obviously unsatisfied meal. Will not return to Cheddars!!

Cheddar's is great, haven't been in years. With the prices rising and portions and quality shrinking everywhere else it was nice to go somewhere and have a great meal at a reasonable price. I had the monte Cristo and my fiance had the chicken fried steak, both loved it. Service was great too, refilled drinks before empty and brought Togo cups too.

Exceptional staff and food is delicious!

Our first time visiting Chedder's, food was excellent and our entrées came out very quickly. Everyone was happy with our mixed drinks so much so everyone had 2 drinks. Also we were party of 12 and they no problem giving a reservation at 9:30 on a Friday night. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. We will be visiting again.

Jauny is the Best server around! Menu has plenty of tasty choices all at reasonable prices. Restaurant is very clean and staff is all very friendly and helpful.

I traveled for training, and after checking into the hotel, I scouted a bit to find a quick dinner to takeaway. Cheddars was close enough and I had dined previously at their chain, so I popped into this location. The staff were very friendly and showed me the place to make a to-go order. The young man who waited on me was kind and patient as I reviewed the menu. He checked on me several times. After I finally ordered, he shared where I could wait. When my order was ready, he brought it to me, and I left. The meal (country fried chicken) was tasty and quite more than I could handle. Probably because my focus was on the carrot cake instead. 😁 Very nice experience all around.

My grandmother and I arrived and were sat promptly. The first thing I took notice of was the atmosphere. Walkin' on Sunshine was playing, putting me in an elated mood. I sat in a booth not too far, yet not too close, to the entrance. I could sit and people watch and ponder people's lives and our inevitable deaths and impending end of the world. The seats were so plush and I sunk deeper than the great sinkhole of Winter Parks. The seats were so comfortable. So comfortable I willingly suffered the ire of my mother for not coming to find her after she and my brother came to meet us. Twas' her fault for not arriving on time in the first place. Harrumph! We sat and ordered appetizers, specifically the Trio Sampler™ and it was delicious aside from the fact that my brother made is subject to his experiments and concoctions consisting of Pico de Gallo, Nacho Cheese and Beef, and Spinach and Sour Cream, as well as Chicken Tenders and Tortilla Chips. Thankfully I survived, hence why you are able to read this now. I had seasoned broccoli, and it was adequately seasoned. I'm black and southern, so you know I know what I'm talking about 🤪. Anyways my brother suffered from the generous amount of mushrooms on his Philly Cheese Steak (I manifested for karma to strike him down and it was promptly answered if his extended bathroom trip is anything to go by. He's sensitive to mushrooms but that never stopped him 😒). We ate our food without any further problems. My grandmother expressed her authority over alcohol by stating that no one is permitted to drink if she can't. Alas, I didn't get, as the people say, "white girl wasted". I was so full I could bust after eating all the appetizers. I have half a rack of ribs left and a broccoli and Cheese Casserole (Highly recommend btw. *Chef's Kiss*💋). We sat and we discussed life, as well as plotted our evil deeds and debauchery. Just another day as usual. Point is 10/10, would recommend! Especially for casual meeting and discussions regarding villanhood and Pettiness ™ (Everyone minds their business 😉)

Met some friends here for dinner. It's a nice place but like a lot of restaurants in this style a little loud for conversations.

The service was A-1. The drinks were sweet and didn’t contain any alcohol. The food was just okay, nothing special.

Drinks came out watery, didn’t get our appetizers, and food was honestly just not that great. Ordered country fried steak and country fried chicken - chicken was grizzly and neither dish had very much gravy.

First time coming to Cheddar's after 2 and a half years of my husband recommending it to me and I think it was amazing! The Cheddar's cheese fries appetizer is something I cannot wait to order again next time. The ranch sauce dip for them was so light and perfect. I do not like ranch sauce but this was an exception! I enjoy getting strawberry lemonade in restaurants and here they put a strawberry inside of your drink. My dad ordered a piña colada drink with no alcohol, and he thought it was delightful. Wonderful service, good presentation, and great food for an affordable price 🍽️💛

Was recommended to go by a local. Food was super good and served up in a timeline I would expect in a good restaurant. In other words the salad came out first after bread and drinks were served. The food, a burger and steak, were served hot and seasoned up just fine. Yes for a lot more money I could have gotten a better cut at a full on steak house but for a variety food spot it was fine. One short coming. I do not like these silly order, pay and play games devices on the tables. Distracting with kids and totally impersonal in wait staff managing your meal. I do not like self checkouts either. So go figure. Our waitress was super so no reflection on her service or interaction with us. Recommend and return? Sure thing.

Carrots and green beans were hard to chew not cooked very well waitress was busy with other people complaining about their food. Third visit probably will not be back. Go to the one in Wesley chapel far better

4 entrees & 1 app (cheese curds) all were great. Definitely recommend the Monte Cristo sandwich!!! Great drinks and Service.

Recently dined at Cheddar's and was totally blown away 🤯, especially by their Chicken Fried Chicken 🍗. The dish was a showstopper, seasoned to perfection and fried to a crispy, golden brown that practically had me applauding 👏. But let’s talk about the real MVP here: their ranch dressing 🥇. It's hands down the best I’ve ever tasted—rich, creamy, and with just the right zing. It made the chicken sing 🎶 (yes, food can sing if it's this good). The vibe was cozy 🛋️, and the staff was all smiles 😊, making the meal not just delicious but truly enjoyable. If you're in the mood for comfort food that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance 💃, Cheddar's is your spot. 10/10 would recommend!

Steak was not cooked correctly. Time waiter came back I had ate sides and husband finished his meal. Sp just took steak home and fed dogs. Broccoli casserole was good

Nice variety to choose from & everything taste good from the seafood to the steak & even the country fried chicken is delicious! Pricing is fair too considering the recent price inflation with the economy. Your orders arrive in a timely manner as well. Highly recomend this place!

My husband and I are big Cheddars fans, but were disappointed with this location and most likely will not be back. We tried it twice thinking the first time was a fluke, but it is obvious the quality is not the same here. If you were to go as your first time ever at a Cheddars you would probably be ok with it, but if you have been to other sites you would quickly realize the difference when it comes to food handling, plating, service, etc. This last time I got the chicken tenders because the breading is different than you get anywhere else and I’m not sure if it was totally new breading or if the oil/chicken was just old. Much smaller portions here as well in terms of side dishes.

We waited 30 minutes for the food to come. We ordered three burgers, one of the burgers had MOLD on the bun in plain view, another (less horrifying than the mold) we asked for no pickles, but pickles were on it and the tomato had the stem in the middle of it. The manager came out and offered to remake both but at this point we were just so done and honestly disgusted. The manager acknowledged that it was indeed mold on the burger, but didn't offer anything other than to remake it. We saw another review talking about food poisoning a few weeks ago, and now we know why. The picture shows the moldy bun.

March 15. Thursday night dinner. My chicken salad pasta meal was Served to me RAW!! RAW CHICKEN! Thankfully I always check! The waitress saw it and I noticed her double check the plate and still put it on the table! Eventually , bc I ASKED FOR A MANAGER. Two came out. Meal was comped. Just putting it out there. Incase anyone gets food poisoning from this Lakeland Fl location. I have reported to the local health department and others.

Key west shrimp and chicken, pot pie, broccoli casserole and of course steak! All cooked on point and delicious. Need an “add shrimp option” for the key west dish!! Best of all the carrot cake … just amazingly delicious!!

Take more than 20 minutes for the waitress to take the order.

Update: The service was friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable. The food was way better this time! The croissants with honey butter were amazing! My steak was cooked perfectly, and the beans and rice were surprisingly really good. My companion ordered the baby back ribs which were very tasty, better than my streak! Overall it was enjoyable. Honestly it would have been a one-star if it weren't for the great service that I got from Paulina she did a great job other than the fact that she forgot to bring us a bag for our to go plates. My plate was the 12 oz sirloin steak medium it came out poorly cooked it was rare on one side medium on the other and completely over done in the middle. On top of that nothing had any seasonings on it and the baked potato was watery and fully loaded is just butter cheese and sour cream no bacon that's extra,. and the steamed broccoli was the best of everything. Short story this place was not worth the money. Better off cooking at home!

The food was rather tasty, the waitress was very pleasant. It was a little full to capacity on my visit. It took around 30 minutes to get our food. Not sure if that is a standard for them or not. Overall it wasn't the best but good to try out and form your own opinion.

Been to Cheddar's in multiple states always had great food and excellent service until tonight. Food was excessively greasy and salty, server seemed not interested when we weren't going to order alcohol. All in all had better food at Chili's than we had tonight at Cheddar's and for the price difference between both places I expected better.

I travel down here for schooling. Every time I walk in, it is late, I am exhausted from 30 hours of classes in a weeks time. One of my last things I do is stumble into this place at about 8:30pm Friday night before I fly home the next day. They are always nice, the food is always good, and the service is always kind. They always say, "You look tired." Then they smile and try to help me. I am usually by myself. It's the last thing I do before heading to bed to get up at 5:00am the next day to drive back to the Tampa airport. It's actually a nice way to end an exhausting week.

The food came out in less than 10 minutes and it was delicious.

My wife and I enjoyed the appetizers but the fish dishes were way over cooked and dried out.
