Visited many times during the summers of 1987, 1988 and 1989 whilst working at nearby Rock Creek Farm. The prospect of an upcoming night out at Chet’s definitely got us through the more challenging days. Great to see it is still thriving.

The Alice burger, bourbon wings, and Manhattan clam chowder are great! They have Lagunitas IPA on tap. The service was excellent. They were efficient, attentive, and friendly. Crimson Tears was the live music. Great place for food, drinks, and entertainment, especially after skiing at nearby Elk Mountain. They have darts, foosball and pool table.

Chet's is always a good time. Great food, friendly staff & the best patrons. Overall excellent atmosphere. Only suggestion I have for improvement = pool sticks. 😉

The food NEVER disappoints our go to place for good food . Fast service & amazing food ! The fish & chips is one of the best around and the fried green beans are the BOMB ! Try the coconut shrimp & the special was stuffed shells & the were Great. CASH only

Cash only, but there's an ATM at the bar A definite step up from eating at the ski lodge at Elk Mountain, 5 minute drive from the parking lot. Bar food, notable for pierogies and chicken wings. Nice view with a deck outside and a small arcade inside. Live music sometimes.

Called 3 times while we were driving there to see if they were doing last call anytime soon. Picked up once and said hello then hung up. Did it again, 3rd time picked up and hung up. Still showed up and they are closed an hour before their online times. Guess your customer service is like your food.

Standard bar food - the Chicken Chili was the soup of the day and it was fantastic. The burger and fries were overpriced and not great. Be aware, they only take cash...

I'll share my view as somebody visiting from out of town. The venue itself is gorgeous, the view is gorgeous, the bathrooms are old and need to be redone. The drinks are good, they only had one person working on a Saturday afternoon lunch hour. We ordered two appetizers, pierogies and fried cauliflower. Pierogies were delicious, three pieces to the order was an odd count. Cauliflower was delicious when it was the small bits, the large bits were still frozen on the inside, and the outside coating was fried but the inside coating was still gummy. We had fish and chips and fried chicken and french fries platters. The fish and chips first arrived frozen, and then when they brought it back out it was overly done. It was very unappetizing and off-putting. The fried chicken was very bland, the seasonings were flower, water, salt and pepper essentially. I'm surprised it has the 4.7 out of 5-star rating. The only reason I gave it the extra star to make it two stars is because of how beautiful the venue is. The service was good, but the one person serving, as I could tell, was exhausted, and did not want to be there.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Went in with a group and they were very accommodating and were flexible taking all of our orders. The fried food specifically is outstanding. Some of the best wings you can get in the area as well. Definitely recommend

Chets place was great! Their wings are DELICIOUS! There was a good atmosphere with lots of travelers and locals. There is a touch tunes music player but the night we were there was a live band. Our waiter was very friendly, a little inattentive but I didnt want to fault him the place was packed with only 2 wait staff. Food was reasonably priced and the restaurant was clean.

The waitress was either having a terrible day or just put off by having more than 5 people in the business at once. Snarky attitude, had to frequent the bar for more drinks...... Food was decent and the beer was cold though...

I have always been fond of chets place, the staff has always been friendly, food good, and the decor is certainly outstanding. Never had a bad experience there. It's pretty well know so it can get very busy at times but thats why it's a place you need to visit while in town. You will not be disappointed

Wonderful little gem hidden away from the hussle and bussle of life. The overlook of the pond was so nice, while we ate our generosity portions with our burgers and sandwiches.

Chet's is a locals kind of bar that skiers and snowboarders from Elk Mountain enjoy stopping in at during the winter season. I've always enjoyed going, staff is always friendly and food is always delicious.

Food was ok I got the tuna. Dont expect much was not a good cut. It was a special. Besides that was a nice place just picked wrong dish. Waitress was very good and friendly. Drinks were very good price. My wife got the coconut shrimp was very good
