My husband is South Korean and has been wanting different cuts of pork and beef to make dishes that we loved eating while in Korea! They were super accommodating, knowledgeable, and very informative! We will definitely be back again❤️❤️❤️

The guy with the awesome long beard has been so kind everytime I’ve visited. Today he wrote me down a recipe for tri-tip burnt ends and after following it, wow! I had to write a review. This place has the best meat in Evansville and it’s always decently priced. I always get attended to with a smile and knowledge on the meat and products they carry! Sadly I didn’t get a picture of the finished products before they all got ate!! 🤣🤣🤣

The Old Fashioned Butcher Shoppe catered a wedding at our venue last night. They provided a served buffet with BBQ chicken, brisket, cheesy potatoes, green beans, a quinoa salad, and rolls. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Not only that, but the staff was professional, efficient, and super nice! An absolute pleasure to work with!

I have been a customer here for about three years and at the time I lived about 10 minutes away. I recently moved to Owensboro so I’m now 45 minutes away, but try to make a trip here at least every six weeks to restock on my favorite types of meats, I love their bacon or sausage they’re pork cutlets, their pork tenderloins and their beef brisket. I also love their spaghetti sauce that they carry Mimi’s. It is unbelievable always great customer service as well. I highly recommend them if you live near or far.

The up-charge for using a credit card is absurd. Increase prices if you have to, but I’ll stop shopping at your store if you continue to charge extra for credit cards.

Highly, highly recommend this local establishment! Excellent customer service, meat and more selection. You can purchase from their selection or if you are looking for a special cut they can usually make that happen. Will answer any meat or bbq questions to help your meat experience at home.

Love the store and will probably return. Today I was charged “fees and processing fees” because I used a debit card. I’m not even sure you can legally charge a surcharge on debit card fees. I understand the cost of doing business, but so should you. There’s no way you’re paying more than 2 or 3% in processing fees to your processor and probably less. So, you’re actually making a profit on top of it? There’s still a tip jar out for goodness sake. How can you? This leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The bacon wrapped jalapeños don’t but this does. Smacks of gouging.

Very disappointed . We prepaid for our large order for our family reunion and made three trips to confirm the order prior to our event today. When we arrived at agreed time to take hot food directly to reunion , they did not have order ready and acted like they didn’t know about order. The food was not warm. What a mess for us. Then we were lied too when we asked if everything was there and was told yes it’s all there. We ordered brisket , Chicken and pork. There was no brisket . We had to call them out on the missing brisket. The food was good but the idea of ordering a meal catered and the stress that was caused is uncalled for. Just be honest mistakes happen but own them . Lots of BBQ catering in area you might want to avoid this stress .

So Today was my first trip in here and also my last. This business tacks on a ( service fee ). This fee is not explained unless you call and ask ( in my case ). It’s a credit card fee. Now that’s fine if they warn you or put up a obvious sign. But the cashier did not tell me or ask. I would have paid cash if they did. I will not shop here again. I find it rude to add fees without telling the customer. Sorry 😞

They are too selective and will only assist those they want to. The shop is set up so you have to have assistance to get most of their products, so I got nothing.

Local Butcher shop with a great selection of meats for fair prices. Customer service was excellent and the steak tasted better than any other grocery store we have in town! They also have customized meals you can order ahead and they will have smoked/grilled for you!

The shop is very clean and the meats are fresh. Prices are slightly above a grocery, but there are sales. Excellent customer service.

This was my first time stopping in since it changed from rivertown butcher shop. They didn't have nearly the selection as rivertown. Maybe half as much stuff at best. Was disappointed in the selection of brats - they only had 2 kinds. Rivertown always had several different flavors to choose from. Rivertown had this awesome meat rub, and the new owners still sell it, but it is NOT the same. Not even close. Super disappointing - man that stuff was great. Honestly, I wanted to give 2 stars but the staff was really friendly, and I hate "slamming" a place unless it was really bad, which it wasn't. Just nowhere near what rivertown was in my opinion.

Glad we have a great Meat Shop in our community. Great Staff, helpful and friendly service. The prices are a bit higher but the 4 Ribeyes and the 1 T-bone were worth the price. Maybe they could offer Senior Discounts. Highly recommend !

I’ve ordered their Saturday BBQ twice now and it is amazing. It’s the best pulled pork and bone-in chicken I’ve had. The brisket is super good as well! I would highly recommend anyone try it! The shop is organized and nice as well.

Tremendously impressed with the selection, quality, and service. Newburgh is fortunate to have added such an asset! I’ve already enjoyed their high quality strip steaks, Duroc pork butts, and craft seasonings. And the prepared BBQ & sides on Saturdays is outstanding - their burnt ends are a must try!

Excellent! I am so glad the Old Fashioned Butcher Shoppe has opened in Warrick County! Now I can find an excellent choice of the best meats close to home! They have the additional bonus of offering special order BBQ meats and meal on Saturdays! YUMMMM! The barbecue is off the charts! This weekend we bought the smoked turkey breast and pulled pork. They both were absolutely melt in your mouth. Last weekend we got the ribs and the brisket. The ribs were a perfect combination of sweet and spicy with all the tenderness you could ask for! I have never been a brisket fan, but this brisket was tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. It changed my mind about brisket. We highly recommend the Old Fashioned Butcher Shoppe - Newburgh!

The meat is fresh and the price is competitive. I've been there many times and they have given me lots of tips on cooking the meat to perfection when I'm trying something new or in a different method. If you dont see what you're looking for, just ask and they will cut it for you! Great staff too.

I walked in not knowing what to expect because I had never been to a bother shop before. The guy behind the counter was very helpful and I enjoyed his energy. He cares about his job and it shows.
