Ordered to go Great food Ample portion Service was as would be expected

FOOD IS ALWAYS FRESH AND TASTE GREAT. SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE.

Everything we ordered tasted good. Unfortunately, two out of the three Egg Foo Youngs had massive egg shell pieces that could not possibly have been missed even by a blind person (see pic). Clearly there's no quality control exercised.

This place is fantastic. Anytime I am in the mood for Chinese food, I don't even consider looking anywhere else. Their triple dragon is absolutely amazing. Their dinner plate comes with either pork or chicken fried rice. For $1.00 more, you can get shrimp fried rice, and that is the route I take. They also have the best egg roll selection around. If you are looking for a good Chinese restaurant, then look no further. China Express is where it's at. Oh, and if you are wanting to sit at your own dinner table or watch t.v. while you eat dinner, there is no need to even leave the house. THEY DELIVER!!!! :)

I eat here probably 2 to 3 times a month. They're Singapore. Noodles are the best. I have ever eaten their quality and quantity of food is not matched by many Chinese restaurants that I've ever been to. It doesn't matter how far away you are.They are worth the drive

So I order something simple fried shrimp and fries.It didn't have any taste.Taste like it was fried in old oil.shrimp had no taste.fries not taste.I have had better from other places.will not order from them again.

My first time ordering online and I have to say, the portion size are HUGE. I love the black pepper chicken and vegetable mei fun. I had enough food for the next day. Even my mother said it's a lot of food. She loved it. I was dreaming about the delicious food all night.

My favorite and Best Chinese Place. Food is always on point and the lady who answers the phone is always polite and makes sure she gets your order correct. I will take that drive just to get me some Chinese food. They are always busy.

Hubby and I have found our new favorite take out place! The food was excellent and the portion was way more than I could finish. I got a lunch chicken and broccoli and had my fill and had some to enjoy the next day.

Food was cold (probably bc it took so long to deliver). The flavor was okay; it wasn't seasoned very much. The wonton soup is TERRIBLE. I wont order from there again

I ordered a shrimp and brocolli combo with shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg roll. I should've saved my money because this food was subpar. The large shrimps were mushy and overdone. The rice was decent with the assistance of duck sauce. My brocolli was cooked very well which I should have just ordered a bowl of it because that was the only thing i enjoyed. My egg roll needed a scavenger hunt to find the one hitting shrimp in it. Overall, this was my first and last time coming to this spot. Next time, I'll stick wirg the places I know!!

I tried to think of a reason not to give five stars but I could not come up with one. The price is very reasonable, the portions are really enough for two people or should be :-), and the quality Is above average. At least it is as a relates to the general TSO chicken, which is what I primarily order. They also give you fried rice or noodles or both and they are plentiful. Throw in an egg roll and a fortune cookie and that’s a wrap! If you’ve never been, and you’re in the area, I would recommend stopping by and ordering takeout… And that brings me to my conclusion which I believe validates why I could not give anything but the max. Your order will be taken in a timely and friendly matter and your wait will be minimal!

My family and I use to order food at least 3-4 times a month. The last two times have been disappointing. Saturday, June 11, will be my last time ordering. My house fried rice was not cooked together. It seemed as if meat was just added and mixed. It was not good. The chicken and the very undercooked chunks of onion was the worse. My general tao and sesame chicken was also not the best. Now I need to find a new place for us.

Always delicious, accurate & amazing. Only 4 stars because they cut back on the servings a bit since Covid hit and another small thing not worth mentioning. Overall; great! My go-to Chinese place.

Every time I go there is a great experience they treat you good they're quick with their cooking they don't make you wait and every time I get food from them I'm always 100% satisfied. I invite everyone to try it and see for themselves why I rate them⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce. Nobody can convince me that it wasn't just shrimp in egg drop soup. And zero flavor.

This has become our favorite Chinese restaurant in Baton Rouge. Fast, good food, and the staff is super friendly and clearly cares. The portions are really generous. My wife is a very critical egg roll customer, and theirs are the only ones here she enjoys. Spicy dishes are available with mild, medium, or hot seasonings, and while the hot usually isn't very spicy it's really good and flavorful, not just hot. My ONLY beef is the Schezwan beef has too many different veggies. I think it's a regional thing - in the Mid-Atlantic area Schezwan beef has peppers and onions, maybe some carrots, maybe some sprouts, and that's about it. Around here they include broccoli, baby corn, and who knows what else. But it's not just China Express, it's everywhere here. They used to deliver but now just offer dine-in and carry-out, but they're close and we don't mind picking it up. They're really fast, and it's ready by the time I get there. Highly recommended!

The dumplings! Oh my goodness! So delicious! We got honey chicken, all the egg rolls, wontons, and mei fun noodles and it was enough for 4 people to eat. So delicious! I stopped to run an errand on the way home and the food was still piping hot when we opened it up. We will definitely be back!

I got sezchuan beef, but most of my plate was filled with random gross mixed vegetables while the beef had no sezchuan flavor. Just tasted like generic asian sauce. I also ordered teriyaki chicken and the overwhelming flavor tasted oddly like cinnamon of all things, why cinnamon??? However, I have also had their general tso's, Singapore chicken, and gyoza which are pretty good.

I've had better but they were about to close so I can't complain too much. The food was a bit flavorless

The ONLY place I get Chinese from lol… other spots just can’t compare to the price for the quality you get here. Portion sizes are always generous & the packaging is gorgeous! Presentation is key for me! I’m including a pic of some one else’s plate because I opened mine &started eating out of it before I took a pic lol but my general tso chicken looked just as good trust me.

I’m always overly satisfied with China Express. The portions are humongous and that’s no exaggeration! 3 adults could eat off of 1 meal comfortably. Affordable, fast, hot, & flavorful!

I chose this place, because it had the most stars and reviews. Despite that I Will be checking out other Chinese places. I ordered their general tso’s chicken and fried rice. Both dishes had no flavor, especially the fried rice. I did really like the packaging though. The portion size was also very generous.

Got the fried pork rice, fried chicken wings and wonton soup and it was great.

The food here is great. Orders take only about 10mins for pickup. The servings are hefty. Get the Blackened pepper chicken lunch.

Our favorite Chinese place in Baton Rouge! Great food, huge portions, friendly service. My only complaint is they're closed on Sunday, which is a day we often want to order out.

Online ordering is user friendly. The Pepper Steak and General Tso's Chicken were very good. There was a slight mix in the order; white rice instead of fried. The driver actually caught the error and adjusted the bill on the spot. Delivery was fast and the driver was very courteous. Overall good experience.

This was my first time going here, the food was piping hot. One plate was enough to feed at least three people also not overly expensive.

Just like other Oriental places, American food cooked to a way it is thought to be. Not really authentic food from that country.

The absolute best American-Chinese food you can find in Baton Rouge. I used to frequent restaurants such as Main Noodle House and Joe’s Shanghai in NYC. This place is right up there with those guys. Fast, reasonably-priced, and delicious!

I have been going to this place since I was a teen. I'm in my thirties now. I have yet to have a bad experience here. My food is always freshly cooked and hot and the prices are more than reasonable. I always order to go so I can not speak on the dining in experience here. With all that said, I would recommend this place to anyone. I mean, they have not stayed in business for this long doing things the wrong way and as always this is just one person's opinion.

The best Chinese food in Baton Rouge for the Best Price. You get a big plate of food. The staff are friendly and your food is always hot, fresh, and delicious!!! Me and the hubby only go here almost every Friday night for take out.

Not a fan of the dumpling sauce which makes or breaks an order of dumplings for us. Shrimp with broccoli meal came with very few shrimp. The lunch prices are fairly reasonable, but the mediocre protein portioning leaves something to be desired.
