Great food, I especially recommend shrimp tacos, it was so good that we reordered. Birria tasted great as well. Portions are generous, I was full after eating a combo. Pineapple and pork taco was a bit dry for my liking. I’d definitely come back and recommend you to try this place !

It’s not often you find a Mexican place that has authentic flavors such as this place. My wife and I had the Birria tacos and the chips and salsa appetizer. The chips were fresh and the salsa was homemade with amazing flavor. I feel like Birria tacos are pretty similar everywhere but this place uses brisket for the meat. Most places I have been use short ribs. The brisket flavor isn’t to overpowering but adds a great depth of flavor. Victor took our order and he was super friendly and quick with his service. Would highly recommend checking this place out.

Real authentic tacos. I tried the birria, steak, chorizo, shrimp, and pastor tacos. All of them were amazing. Definitely recommend.

I am SO glad we found this place! The food is perfection. Not overly seasoned or salty and made fresh! Blows most of these other places serving similar dishes out of the water! You have to try it! We will definitely be back!

Calm clean and inviting atmosphere that seems to be locally owned by a family. The server was very attentive and kind. We ordered drinks and meals after looking over their broad menu. The serving sizes were quite large and the food was perfect. The best fajitas and birria I’ve had in the area.

Outrageous authentic Mexican restaurant!!! The tacos were so delicious and made on homemade tortillas. The green salsa was delicious and the red one was so good and Smokey. Perfectly tasting guac. I’ve been to Mexico so many times and I can confidently say this was way better. Best Mexican food in st Pete hands down!

Food made to order which means it takes more time but well worth it. 3 of us had birria consome and 1 had chicken quesadilla. All very good.

This small unassuming taqueria provides big, authentic incredible flavors! Service was wonderful as we were greeted with a friendly hello and he made sure to check on us periodically. The Birria Tacos were the best I've had in the area. The consomme was absolutely lovely, not overpowering but complimented the savory taco in every way. The Al Pastor Tacos, oh my what a blast of savory, sweet and hint of tartness from the pineapples, pork and that crisp bite of freshness from the cilantro and radishes. Great meal, highly recommend!

Outstanding food! The horchata tasted like rice pudding, the birria tacos and rice and beans were the best I have ever had and the churros melted in my mouth.

Food is okay. They tout that it is authentic Mexican food, however, the fajita steak is not marinaded like authentic Mexican. Steak is bland. It is affordable, alas, it reminds me of Chili's fajitas. Casa 28 in St Pete is actually authentic and marinaded and not bland. Trenches de Leches cake is moist, but again bland.

This place is so damn good. We ordered birria , chorizo, y al pastor. They were soooo good. Only picture I have is of the empty plates. Food came out HOT and tasted so fresh. Ugh possibly best tacos in town.

FIRE! Straight Fi-YER. As a Birria aficionado, from the mean streets of the Southside of Chicago. I can say without a doubt, best Birria I’ve ever had. Get your caboose in here and enjoy heaven in a taco shell! Perfection! Service was great too. 10/10 will be back again and again!

Pulled up just before closing..may have been a slow night so the owner was hanging the closed sign a bit early.. pulled up along with another truck and the gentleman quickly flips the closed sign back around and waved us in,IM GLAD HE DID! been driving by this place for over a year and have been wanting to try..had the barria a few other tacos and a chicken quesadilla.. everything was super delicious..super stoked to add a new spot to the rotation..

I went to eat with my family and the service was excellent, the food is super delicious, from the first bite, I was completely impressed by the authenticity and exceptional flavor it offers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to explain the dishes and offer recommendations based on your preferences, great flavor and everything is pretty clean.

This is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! I was blown away by the flavors and taste. Unfortunately I live on the other side of the country but when I visit Florida this is top of the list !

I’ve tried every Mexican restaurant in the central and southern part of Florida living here over ten years (from Chicago) and nothing, UNTIL NOW , has compared. The salsa is fresh, you can taste the peppers, just pico enough for some heat but not burn your lips, the tortillas are fresh and homemade, the tacos are stuffed full, flavorful, and delicious. The guacamole is excellent, horchata is on point, the rice and beans are perfect and from scratch. This restaurant is small, authentic, clean, and a must go! I will be back often. I highly recommend this little gem.

Amazing food and amazing service 10/10

This is going to really suck 😭😭😭 but my best friend took me here for the first time and I was super excited because she says it was sooo good. We walked in, we waited, and I went towards the right to get the lady's attention and she was cooking with her back faced to me then a RAT A BIG BLACK RAT crawled across the kitchen top to the ceiling 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 She looked at me and I immediately ran out. I'm so sad but actually seeing the rat disgusted me.

The food was delicious, and servings were ample. Service was prompt and friendly. The place is tiny, and decorations were sparse. The music was a bit loud given the small space. I will go back there. Loved the thin, crispy chips with dark salsa. Chips were over-salted, but still delicioso. Brisket burrito was very good. So big I could only eat half.

Very good, the food was excellent but definitely pricey. I mean $51 for six tacos and a quesadilla is a lot of money for basically a little meat cheese and tortillas. But the food was very good at least!

Loved it. I only wish I could've ordered at ate more. Since I knew this would be my only trip I wanted to try a few different tacos. The downside of that is that you only get consomme included with the birria tacos if you get the order of three. Womp-womp. No worries, I'm happy to report the single was fantastic even without the consomme. The street corn was good but a lil more char than I think anyone would expect...I know my way around street corn. So much black showed through the cheese I thought maybe it had black pepper 😂😂. Fortunately that wasn't the case and it was still pretty good. You'll notice I gave them 5 Stars so it really wasn't a big deal...just not i-deal. Definitely check this place out! 😏

I literally tried this today for breakfast and im getting it for dinner right now. Tortillas were soft. Horchata was somehow so fresh and not too sweet. Pastor was perfect sweetness. And bruh.. my boyfriend got the elote, it was insane.

Great burritos and tacos. Very limited seating. It's a small, mostly takeout restaurant but the vibe is really good, service is excellent and the food is delicious. Plus my Coke came in a real glass bottle! Highly recommend.

Best street tacos I've ever had in my life. I've eaten at many mexican restaurants, all over the united states, and these are bar far the best street tacos I've ever had. The meat was perfectly seasoned and the veggies were fresh and cooked to still leave a little crunch. I can't believe I didn't try this place sooner. The rice and beans were standard, but the tacos were 10/10. I had the carnitas and the asada street tacos.

My son and I decided to try something new rather than our usual Mexican restaurant favorites, and we will both be returning...in fact, the tacos we sampled were among the best either of us have had. The birria, carne asada, camarones, and al pastor tacos were all delicious...quality meats and shrimp, delectably seasoned in nice portions. The sauces are freshly made and add amazing flavor. We'll definitely return to try more of the menu!

Hands down some of the best food I’ve ever had! Literally everything is good! We ordered one of just about everything and it did not disappoint. We started off with the guac, salsa and queso as an app. Our favorites were shrimp tacos and the quesobarilla. If you want to split something, the nachos are fantastic as well. I drank the hibiscus tea— really good. They also have a good selection of Jarritos. The staff are all really nice people. They were able to help guide us around the menu and let us take our time figuring out our order. This is our new spot! We will be back!
